I am rejecting this response because: I feel as though I am.being robbedI don't know what the dealer paid, and it seems as long as I am on the outside of the deal I will receive the lesser amountI paid close to a thousand dollars in repairs alreadyThey have paid the lesser amountPlus dollars each time in deductiblesNo rental cars when my car was down, so add cab fair to and from workNone of those fine details were explained to meThe warranty blames the dealer..The dealer blames the warranty???...Just please refund my money alreadyThis has been a snake pitted nightmareAnd I don't see climbing in the middle of these two companies as a resolveSo, if I may? Horrid customer serviceMy alternator went out on my toyota 4runnerInstead of paying dollars for a toyota part, they only want to spend for a part toyota can get, they want to get an alternator from auto zone (auto zone isn't the greatest product) and then have it mailed to toyota Lets turn a hour job into a day job for dollars Dont use this company

Bought a warranty for my car and under OPTIONAL COVERAGE checked off that the warranty wouldn't start till after my basic manufacturer warranty ended Now GWC will not honor there contract and is saying my contract is expired I still have 30,miles and years left under my contract They refuse to work with me and are very uneduacted in what they sale DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

When the dealership contacted GWC they wouldn't even verbally honor or acknowledge the warranty would cover any repairs that where clearly under contract. There seemed to be conflicting information on coverage GWC had on file to actual coverage I purchased. GWC's lack of acknowledgement, negligence and denial of contractual responsibilities is the reason why the repairs ended up completed so called "out of contract". I was really happy with this serviceIt's hard to find a reputable after market warranty companyWe have two cars backed by GWCThey even included towing and roadside assistance in our packageThe $gas card was pretty sweet too!

Would not warranty a headgasket leakingThey stated that the used car I bought had a headgasket leak prior to my purchase of the vehicletherefore it was a preexisting leak before my purchase of the vehicleWhen I drove the vehicle at the dealership there was not a leak or any evidence of a leak when I inspected the vehiclemiles later I developed a leak and they will not warranty the headgasketFind someone else to do business withI have contacted an attorney in this matter

I am rejecting this response because:
First, I took the vehicle to *** in *** NJ. I was quoted $600-$for a hub assembly and bearing replacement. GWC would only cover $of labor and part but recommended I take it to GWC associated shop because *** was charging too high for labor and the part. The associated shop was *** *** in *** NJ and its not even close to my home. It's about 15-miles from me. I figured to save money and have GWC cover the bad hub and bearing, I decided to take it there. Dropped it off Wednesday morning(5-28-14) and *** diagnosed it by the following day. It was more extensive than the driver hub assembly and bearing. The front differential, axle, drivers side hub assembly and bearings were all bad and needed to be replaced. All of a sudden since there was more issues, only the differential was covered. The hub assembly and bearing somehow is not covered.How was it previously approved when in *** and not in *** ***. Now, I have to pay for the hub assembly and bearing and axle out of pocket for a total of $730. When I first called in when I purchased the vehicle, I specifically asked for a more detail contract of what is covered and not. I was told GWC does not have exact coverages and each shop/mechanic would have to call in to put in a claim and then GWC would make a decision on the repair. Your brochure given to me on the date of the purchase of my vehicle is too general and vague. I also learned that taxes and fluid changed are not coveredOn the brochure, it shows no type of wording in regards to this. Since I paid $for a year plan, I believe that the differential cost is like $as per *** the mechanic. Since it will cost almost what I paid for the plan, I am guessing that is why the other repairs were not covered. That would put your company at a lost on this contract. So instead of that happening, not all the repairs were approved and you didn't honor the coverage.Another important thing was the process. The mechanic submitted his claim on Thursday 5-29-and the inspector came out Friday to verify. I was told it took 24-hours after the inspection for GWC to process the claim and complete its researchI was already without a car since Wednesday and for that weekend. I called *** the following week and was told that GWC did not like the price of the differential given so GWC wanted to look for a cheaper part. At the end, GWC finally approved *** *** to proceed with his part on Thursday 6-5-14. This was past the 24-hours when the inspector came out. The shop is closed on weekends. Now since there was about a day delay. I would go another weekend without a car. GWC delay caused a BIG inconvenience to me. I have a year old daughter and had a graduation, recital, and other events I had to go to. *** called the company to purchase the part but it would take time to deliver it since he had other parts to deliver plus he was located in upstate NY. If GWC had approve his part initially and not delay longer than hours, *** the mechanic could have requested the part and completed the work before the weekendToday is 6-10-and it will be weeks from when I initially dropped off my vehicle. That's almost half a month with out a car. Put yourself in a situation without a car for that long with children. GWC has no concern or take any responsibility for its delayed process and inconvenience to one of their customers. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL WAY ON CONDUCTING BUSINESSThis story and message will be forwarded to the state general's office and local news just to show my frustration and unfair treatment

I am rejecting this response because:
The damage that the inspector is claiming was damage that even the mechanic said we would never have known about. Since this complaint, we had the truck towed to a second mechanic for another opinion and that mechanic said the same thing. This is the warranty companies way of getting out of paying for anything. The truck is now fixed and the total cost from the second mechanic was $1284.00. These extended warranties are scams and so is this company. I had two different mechanics from two different companies that we didn't know from adam say the same thing. The last time there was something wrong with the truck they covered a small portion of the cost and of course a huge portion came out of my pocket. I would never recommend anyone to purchase an extended warranty with this companies name on it. I think we should atleast get reimbursed for 1/of that warranty since they come up with excuses why they won't pay for anythingThank you!

I am rejecting this response because: The shop and the warranty company were both informed that the vehicle did in fact over heat after the head blew. I am not estranged to mechanical workings and know when a cylinder head is blownCar will blow out white smoke due to antifreeze seeping though the cylinder sleeve and into the combustion chamberAntifreeze in the oil can indicate this as well as the head gasket being blownThe car service engine light came on, started making a loud noise, puffed out white smoke in great quantities then over heatedThis all happened all in a matter of fifteen minutesCar was then towed to a Suzuki dealership and I told them what happened and I was 100% sure the head was goneNow I understand you do not cover overheated damaged parts, but as I have said and the mechanics have agreed that the head blowing caused the overheating, thus part was already damaged. If your independent inspector had gone there to see if the head was blown he would have asked if a compression test was done and what the results wereThis was not asked because I asked myself and because of the confusion trying to get the approval for the head gasket to be replaced so the teccould get the heads off a compression test was in fact not done. I am tired of fighting this so this is my last attempt to settle this on a customer basis and if it doesn't get resolved legal representation and action will be taken

I am rejecting this response because:
Again, I am not disputing what they already paid out on my carI am disputing what was deniedMy mechanic told me they denied all of the repairs by phone when he called , said nothing was covered & when he told me what the repair was to be I looked it up in coverage booklet & it was a covered component but yet when the mechanic advised them of the type of repair they denied to pay for it. Perhaps he used the wrong term or word when explaining the type of repair needed on vehicle but I assure you when he explained it to me I immediately looked up whether or not it was a covered component & it was listed as suchOn the first repair that was partially paid by your company, which was the complete engine replacement, they told me I had to pay for a diagnostic test just to find out what was wrong with the engineOnce they determined it was a covered component they told me that money would be refunded to me but never didThey also took weeks to get an adjuster to come & look at my car just to see if they were willing to pay for repairs & another weeks to ship a replacement engine to my mechanicBut never once did company offer a rent-a-car to meThey told me if I didn't ask for one I wouldn't get oneI believe it would be a common courtesy as a warranty company when someone is without a vehicle for a period of a month you would be more than happy to provide a form of transportation because of the incovenience
I am not looking for anything more than what was to be paid according to the contractI would have let this go but when I realized what my mechanic had told me I knew as a single woman I was getting ripped offI am willing to meet half way with repair costs & be done with this issue but if not I will pursue it further with my attorney if necessary

I am rejecting this response because:
This response doesn't address either the inconvenience
and costs associated with complying with their requests or the business' repeated failures to return phone calls and emails.  In order to comply with their requests, and if I don't,
they surely won't cover the repairs, I have to incur at least $500 of service
labor and the mechanic has to have an inoperable vehicle sitting on his lift
until they decide to come and inspect the parts in question despite the issue
being a known problem with this particular car.  The requirement is both unreasonable to us as the customer and the repair shop as a victim of this practice.  They make appointments for the adjuster to come out and he doesn't show on the correct day and time.
I have called and emailed this company on numerous
occasions and they will not respond until I file complaints and threaten further legal action.  Until recently, the only response I had gotten to several phone calls and emails was on 7/28/2015 from someone reiterating what I already knew and she was passed me to the voicemail of the adjuster who never returned my call.  I sent emails each day afterwards voicing my displeasure at the way in which they were conducting business and ignoring my correspondence.  It wasn't until I sent my 4th email outlining a sequence of events that I got a call from someone who explained their procedure and promised to respond quickly.  I think the procedure is again, unreasonable given the information available about the car and the fact that the adjuster had been out to see the car twice already but they won't cover the claim unless we go through the burdens and expense that they're forcing us to endure.
They are irresponsible in dealing with their customers
and their policies regarding claims make use of their warranty prohibitive.  Their website is deceptive
in that they make it sound so easy to put in a claim when it's quite the
opposite..  On top of that, their customer service is horrific. 
I would advise anyone against doing business with this
company.  They are not as they purport to
be.  They work harder to deny claims than they do to help the customer.
I have detailed records of all correspondence with this company to further support my claim.  This is not a frivolous action on my part.

question on June 19, 2015. The customer will be issued a reimbursement check
totaling $382.50 towards the repairs.
