Accessory Bargains Reviews (265)

Review: I'm sorry to bother you, however, I'm having a problem with a company that...unfortunately, seems to have a number of complaints against them (19, if I read the inforation correctly). I can hardly believe that I was this stupid, however, a friend told me about a site, Accessory Bargains, that had cosmetics at half of their usual price. I suffer from a[redacted] so almost all my shopping is done online; since I heard this from an online friend I was comfortable using the site. I had received money for Christmas, and I went, on December **, 2014, to the website and made a purchase that totaled to $85.05. We don't have, exactly, the most trustworthy neighbors, so I always request email updates so I know when to expect a package and know whether or not it has been delivered. A shipping label was printed on December **, 2014. I couldn't get anymore information at the time, so I waited and the next thing I knew, it was brought into a Hemet, California on January *, 2015. This made me a little uneasy - a shipping label printed in NY and then a shipment in California. I'm a regular ebay user, I know how businesses have different locations so it wasn't that big of a deal. On their blog, they said the information on the [redacted] tracking site isn't "regularly" updated and that the information will "appear" almost at the same time as delivery - which I have to admit I've NEVER seen before. This really made me uneasy and...stupid me, I went to your website to check on Accessory Bargains and found the 19 complaints. I wrote the Accessory Bargains email address (no phone number listed), they stated that their own website said that you - basically - shouldn't bother to contact THEM until 7 - 10 days had passed. I waited the appropriate amount of days and wrote. The response I got back might as well have been a form letter stating that they would take care of any problem, I needed to give the Post Office more time because it was a "peak season" but that I should be receiving my package in the "upcoming week". They promised that if I didn't receive my order that they would refund my money and give me a $10 credit to the store. As far as I was concerned, I knew this was a blow off so I was just trying to give a decent amount of time to call [redacted] - they have protocols and I wanted to make sure I didn't sound like a paranoid customer. I waited - and on January **, 2015, I contacted the [redacted] customer service to see if they could tell me anything...after all, this was 9 days after the package was dropped off, when I checked it, it said that it was a "priority mail - 2 days" so, naturally, this was my first stop. I talked to a wonderful man named Frank and he opened a case for me - which, I understand, was only there to track the package because it had just seemed to drop off the face of the earth. I was supposed to call back 48 hours later if they hadn't already called me. I called and there was no information. In the meantime, well, actually just earlier today, I called my bank. I explained the situation - even if the package was never retrieved, it was only insured for $50 - I just wanted to see what I would have to do, and possibly get it noted on my account that I was having problems, so if I did have to try to get an investigation I would already have a little information already on file.

Following this, I went to ebay and happened to notice that there was a place called NY Accessories that was advertising the same price as Accessory Bargains had. Knowing that the store I shopped at was in NY, I just got this feeling in the pit of my stomach. I clicked the link and was taken to a new website that was EXACTLY the same as Accessory Bargains - from the information listed, the photos, everything was exactly the same. I knew because the day I was trying to write them I looked at each and every tab trying to find a phone number. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I tried to go to Accessory Bargains and lo and behold the website had been closed down. I got 401 errors, I went to my email to click the links for my "order status" and it was a 401 error. It would seem to me that this is just fraud company who changes names frequently in order to keep their complaint log without complaints. I do intend to file mail fraud charges when the acceptable amount of time has passed, however, I wanted this listed. Also, considering the number of complaints you stated that you had...I thought knowing that NY Accessories is the former Accessory Bargains might help you deal with other customers who have filed complaints. I can send you (by email or snail mail) screen caps that I took of the former website (order summaries) so that you can see I'm completely honest about this being the exact same website they had when they were Accessory Bargains. I actually have screencaps of the website, the emails I was sent as a order confirmation, the shipping information, the question I sent, the response I got, my own banking information that showed that the money was taken from my account, and all the information that I have from the [redacted] tracking information. I'll be more than happy to provide you with any information I have. Whether or not there is anything that I can do for my situation, I don't know, however, having seen this company name change, I wanted to make sure that you could try to help the others. Myself, I should have known better, but I was just stupid enough to think if a friend was telling me about it she must have ordered before. Personally, I have ordered from a number of China base websites that looked too good to be true, that I might have otherwise questioned but they turned out to be great orders. I should have stuck with companies that work with my iGive button - they are trustworthy and a portion of my purchase goes to help the animal shelter that I chose.Desired Settlement: I doubt you will be able to do much, especially now that they have changed their website, I would like to get my money back. Besides that, I want to make sure that other people don't get taken like I did.

Review: I ordered some make-up from this company on Dec. **, 2014 and have never received it. When I asked them about it they sent back a threatening e-mail. they gave me a tracking number and it does not work. I have tried to contack them several times and they do not return any of my requests. I did do some research now and they have many warnings out there, wish I saw this first. Criminal charges need to be brought up on this company.Desired Settlement: I want my money back.

Review: They are selling counterfeit makeup! I purchased what I thought was a Urban Decay eyeshadow palette and I got a replica of the Urban Decay makeup they are making. I know this because I own one and bought this one as a gift but after receiving it after 19 days I compared it to mine and it's clearly a fake the colors don't even match the real one. I can even send you pictures. And the address you have for this company is wrong it was mailed from a [redacted] zip code. And you can't contact them except by email an they don't respond.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund and for them to be shut down! I'm also reporting them to the Urban Decay company so they can take further action.

Review: My sister purchased the Naked 2 palette for me as my Christmas gift off of the Accessory Bargains website. She also purchased the palette at Sephora. When she finally received the palette after weeks of 'shipping', you could tell it was a TOTAL knock-off. I wish I could post pictures of the difference in product. I don't know how it is legal to sell such a knock off as 'authentic'. The box was much smaller. The font was a different color. The eye shadows weren't even close in color or texture. It didn't come with samples like the 'authentic' palettes do. The mirror was fake and scratched/ fogged up. The eye shadows actually were falling out of the package. We both tried to post reviews on the product but the company wouldn't 'approve' them. They only approve the positive reviews. This company needs to be shut down or at least held responsible for selling completely fake products.Desired Settlement: I want my sister to be fully refunded. Not store credit.

Review: I purchased an [redacted] Naked 2 Makeup Palette from an online store at a discounted price, when I received the item I noticed that the product they advertised looked different it did not look authentic. This ended up being a counterfeit product, they made me think with their advertising that I was purchasing the original product, after comparing the authentic makeup palette with the fake one and calling the cosmetic company,it was confirmed that I had purchased a dupe. [redacted] cosmetics informed me that Accessory Bargains was not an authorized seller of their product. They are misleading the consumer with fake counterfeit products.Desired Settlement: I will gladly return the item so long as I get my full refund.

Review: I purchased three Urban Decay makeup palettes from their website... upon receiving them I realized that they were in fact FAKES. They are in no way shape or form Authentic Urban Decay Palettes. I then notified the company that I would be requesting a FULL refund due to false advertisement & selling of FAKE merchandise. They emailed me back informing me that they do NOT issue refunds for ANY reason. I let my card company know & filed a dispute. I will not stop there.Desired Settlement: A Full refund to the card used in the transaction.

Review: On January **, 2015 I purchased an Otterbox Defender Case for Iphone. I PAID $13.95 for the item and $5.99 for shipping. I have never received the product and the business has never gotten in touch with me after they sent me a confirmation of order. A total of $19.94 was drafted from my checking account and now I still have no product and the business doesn't seem to have a phone number to get in touch with them. If I try to log into their system using my email and password it says it doesnt recognize my email address.Desired Settlement: Apparantly this company is a fraud and is selling things they don't have to steal money from people.I want a full refund!

Review: Statement: On December **, 2014, I placed an order with [redacted] online for 2 Otterbox Iphone cases and one clip. The total amount of the purchase was $95.28. I received a confirmation email with my order #[redacted] same day and the next day, ** Dec, received an email saying the items had shipped with a [redacted] tracking number. When I put this tracking number in the [redacted] system, it said “shipping label created.” This still remains the status and I have not received the items as of January **, 2015. The only method to contact the company is through email on the website and I have done this twice. No response.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the money or the items expedited shipped.

Review: I ordered a phone case and a charger and had to return them when they arrived because they looked nothing like the picture online and I was not happy with them. After I returned them they gave me a store credit and I ordered a lifeproof phone case. I have had the same model lifeproof case as the one Iordered for over two years and never had a problem with it. The case I recieved did not appear to be authentic and I am not able to use it because when I put it on my phone nobody can hear me or understand me. I can not get a refund because they only offer store credit for returns and Ido not want a store credit at a store that as it appears to me only sells inferior products.

Review: I ordered a few things from them right after Christmas and many days later I received a [redacted] Tracking #. That tracking # was going to CA I live in MA. I emailed them saying maybe you gave me the wrong tracking number. They said am not sure what [redacted] did with the routing but it is coming to you the correct location:. Well it got delivered to the Post Office in [redacted]. I emailed them again and they wrote [redacted] routes packages differently sometimes, we have no control over this. I've sent more emails but have not heard anything else. After reading the complaints about this online store I feel I am out my $35.00. I work hard for my money and to be scammed out of it stinks. From what I've read their product is junk anyways. I wish I had checked out reviews before I purchased from themDesired Settlement: I would like my debit card refunded my order# was [redacted] $34.86

Review: I placed an order and paid for 3 items on 11/** 14 and received order confirmation email # [redacted]. I received another email on 12/*/14 stating that the items had shipped. I received 2 of the 3 items ordered. I did not receive the product with SKU # [redacted] valued at $79.99 prior to shipping and tax charges. I contacted the company via their web portal to let them know I had not received part of the order. They replied saying that the item was on back order and would be shipped within a few days. I did not receive the item within a few days. When I tried to go back to their website to contact them I get a message saying the site is down for maintenance.Desired Settlement: Although I would like the item I ordered, I will accept a full refund if they are unable to provide the item ordered.

Review: I ordered an Urban Decay "Naked Palette" normal price $54.00. It was on sale for $25 something. I had bought this for a gift, and I don't usually buy from"off" companies, but they appeared to have much accreditation.

Luckily, I found out before I gave the gift that it was a complete fake! I then verified this on numerous websites that actually showed the difference-including the Urban Decay site itself.

I sent the product back, after the stated the money was already refunded back to the Credit Card I used. It has not been returned.

I also attempted to return their item using the address that they have posted everywhere-including on the site, and it came back to me with a Post Office "Return to Sender. Insufficient Address.

Their return policy threatens a collection fee of $150.00 which, if not paid in a timely manner would go into arbitration here in New York at the consumers expense. All this if you didn't send their product back "exactly as told"Desired Settlement: They are selling fake makeup items to many people whom I have spoken to on my auction sites (public sites) and yet they are continued to do so with impunity! AS a Nurse, I know that this makeup may contain harmful ingredients as there is no way to validate what was put into these faux palettes when creating them. All manner of eye infections or severe allergic reactions.

I would like to see them either called out on their unethical business practices, or shut down due to their total lack of ethics and very very poor business practices. I would also like to see them stop playing games, as this is their official address and accept the merchandise I have-in good faith-returned.

I also wan the refund of money returned to the method of payment I used to pay for this junk!

[Your Answer Here]The company didn't contact me directly, but I did receive the package I show in the photos. They also began soliciting me by email to come to theirwebsite and view their products; just like nothing had happened. I can supply copies of said emails AND how they are posting they no longer sell the Urban Decay 1, 2 or 3 "Naked" palettes. Yet once you enter their site, it will still be right there: for sale. I Hope this info is helpful.Signed,

Review: We ordered Urban Decay makeup as a gift for our niece. The website stated the cosmetics were authentic. The product we received were not authentic but "knock-off." After contacting company and requesting a refund via our credit card company, we were told by the company that if charges were reversed we would be referred to a collections agency. The company is obviously not legitimate and we are out $120.00Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund and an investigation into this fraudulent company.

[I inquired about the authenticity of the products sold and shipped and they refused to acknowledge the question. They merely stated that the would refer my purchase to a collections agency if payment was not made for the item. The items (cosmetics) were listed on the internet was authentic. However, after a cosmetic's professional viewed the items they determined that they were in fact fraudulent and not the items portrayed on the internet.

Review: I order a product on December **, 2014 and paid the expedited fee. Only status I have received is that the product received a shipping label. I contacted the postal service and they have not received anything from the company. My status of the order has never changed. I have sent several emails and have not received any back. I tried to call a number I found online. That number is no longer in service. I lDesired Settlement: I would like my money back and put back into my bank account. Concerned that they took the money and never received my product and they will use my card for their own personal gain.

Review: The company sent me false/ fraudulent life proof cellphone cases. They called them refurbished cases which is indeed not the case. The cases were shoddily made knockoffs. I informed them of the issues and they said if I returned the cases they would refund me. I have mailed the cases to them and have received non further contact despite multiple emails asking for reply. I have [redacted] their company since my purchase and realized that their game is sending customers knockoff cheaply made products. They are thieves. Please help!Desired Settlement: I would like them to please refund my purchase in total. I paid return shipping to them and I am not asking to be compensated for this. I would like the $80 I spent on the knockoff cases returned. The cases have been delivered and I have usps tracking proof.

Review: I ordered two cell phone cases from Accessory Bargains on 12-**-14 for a total purchase price including shipping of $56.89. Despite the vendor's website showing the items as shipped on 12-**-14, using the tracking number provided by the vendor, [redacted] shows merely that a shipping label was printed and the item was never shipped. Upon frther research, including the NY Revdex.com website, I see this is a common failure by this vendor.

I have attempted to contact this vendor four times. The vendor does not provide a customer service phone number. When I have contacted it via its online system, I only receive a form e-mail response that places blame with [redacted].Desired Settlement: I expect a full refund in the form of a credit on my credit card. Or, I expect immediate delivery of authentic [redacted] and [redacted] cases. I am unwilling to accept knock-off or imitation phone cases.

Review: All of the products on their website were name brands and when they finally got to my door, they were packaged in a flat rate envelope that had everything shoved in it with all of the items being knock offs of the brandsDesired Settlement: Please refund the amount spent on the knock off products back to the credit card that purchased the products
