$ total credit that I'm due I've contacted this company several times via email, fax & phone calls in reference to $overdraft that were charged on my bank & $overdraft fee that they've added to my billing ADT is operated in a theft manner This is not the first time I've had to go through this with this company I submitted a post-dated payment of $to be drafted through my bank account on 9/29/ ADT process the payment immediately on 9/23/without my consent which resulted in an overdraft on my account My bank charged me $fee and ADT also charged my account $fee This stealing company owes me a total of $ I have emailed & faxed them my bank statement showing the overdraft But they have totally ignored it

Four service calls since MarchTwo months we were not connected to the ADT serverLast call left us without AC for two days and stuck with the bill If you want random technicians showing up in personal cars, ADT is for you! Since moving into our new home in March we've had service calls to ADTEach technician was from a third party company who would arrive in an unmarked car and sometimes showed an ADT badge The first call was for a new setup, which was done incorrectlyThis led to another technician request to come out and re-install the correct equipment in the right location the following weekOver the next two months we had several more issues with the indoor camera working properly - horrible picture quality, not working at night etcAnother technician came out to check the issues and we were told that for over months there was no connection between my home and ADTIn case of an emergency there would have been no emergency contact made to the correct authorities

Service has not worked in over a yearIt wasn't until we quit paying our bill that they agreed to send out a technician Our service with ADT hasn't worked in over a yearOnce we quit paying our bill and after several phone calls they sent out a service tech who ultimately figured out why it wasn't workingHe had to make several changes including removal of some screws to the wall for the system to sit straightI was told once the technician came out to assess the situation we would be getting credits back for the time we paid and didn't receive serviceUltimately, the person whom the technician reported back to proceeded to tell us there wasn't an issue found and that we needed to pay the past due balanceSee...after it not working for such a long period of time...I quit paying...why would I pay for a service I was not receivingThis was the response I got after the technician spent hours at my home and concluded the system indeed wasn't functioning properly

Did not cancel service, charged cancellation fee, receiving collection calls I recently moved into a new house and moved my ADT service ADT came out and installed new equipment in my house Even though I did not cancel my service I was charged a $fee I spoke to two different agents yesterday who assured me this was corrected however I am now receiving collections calls from ADT (just received my 2nd one) I have been told with each collection call that I will not be receiving further calls however they continue to call me I don't know how much clearer I can make this: I DID NOT CANCEL MY SERVICE THEREFORE I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED A CANCELLATION FEE

I had Adt put a pulse system in my home in October I had some extra's added with the basic package ,a second motion detector window contacts etcHave had no problems till I decided to add video surveillance cameras I contacted the sales department inquiring the cost and monthly monitoring fees The representative quoted me to have the camera's installed and that my bill would increase dollars which I agreed toI set up a appointment to have the technician installI could not have been happier being that I can look at the cameras remotely since this is a second home and not my primary residenceWhen the tech left I signed a document with the breakdown of what he had done well it wasntWARNING after I signed thinking it was just adding cameras that I paid for it I signed a Year contractMy problem is when I called to inquire and ordered the camera's the representative never brought to my attention that I would have to sign a new contract.I spoke with Adt about this matter they pulled the phone records and once again the representative never mentioned a new contractand Now after endless phone calls they refuse to do anything but get me months monitoringIf I had have known that I was signing a new contract I would have had they put me a complete new system with camera's at half the price [redacted]

I have been a customer of ADT for some time and my experience with them has always been very good They were excellent with service calls, their technicians were Professional, knowledgeable and polite and this can also be said for their customer service and online customer service representatives as wellThey were patient and took time to walk me through any issues I was having online or with my system Overall their customer service is wonderful

We're sickened by the scandalous way these people workOn the main wall when entering our home this guy put a giant boxHe pushed our couch out three inches for the power supplyHe installed all this first, which we assumed had to be covered by the super "deal" we were getting with $1,400+ of "free" equipment and THEN sat to talk money to the tune of $400/month for the next four months!? $68/month after, for years!? What!? Give me my formerly untouched plaster wall back, take this monstrous box, and give us peace of mind back! 3:30AM and can't sleep BECAUSE OF A SECURITY COMPANY!

This is the most awful service I have ever received from ADT and Defender Security I have had endless billing and service problems with very little resolution support These is a partner group, but have no idea how to work together Their communication is confusing, inconsistent and outright pathetic I have wasted hours trying to solve these problems to no avail I set up easypay and they never charged the payments; excuse, Defender Security is not ADT and this needed to be set up separately They claimed to have left numerous voicemails and text that I never received Most representatives were very rude I will never use ADT again and will ensure all my associated are aware of the poor service; I would not recommend ADT to anyone At this point, I intend to pay the early cancellation fee just because I do not want to deal with this organization again I can see by the other reviews that I am not alone Clearly, this company is about profit, not customer service

My experience started in June I cancelled my account I made sure that it was cancelled They came and got my equipment I looked at my bank account and found that they had continued to take out money I called and they said that the account had not been cancelled I assured them that it had and I had NO equipment They assured me that the account was closed and no more $ would be taken out I asked that a supervisor call me to let me know when my money would be refunded NO ONE CALLED! I called again on 12-12-to find out that the account had not been cancelled I talked with a supervisor who told me that it would take a month to get a refund and that I should call back in January to make sure that it was taken care of This is INCOMPETENCE at it's finest I would NEVER send anyone to ADT
