I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I am accepting the $20 gift card card mailed from the corporate office. However, I still stand behind my request to get a full refund of the order placed as well.

What we would like to know is specifically the part that was attempted to be bought or possibly a receipt from our competitor to help us better understand the issue that took place by finding the part bought. We have been unable to locate any information that clearly gives as an idea of what happened and how a pricing difference of this amount took place. We would very much like to also know how Mr. [redacted] feels we could make this a better experience. We could request the District Manager over the store’s area contact Mr. [redacted] so they can discuss this issue and see how we can assist and what exactly took place. [redacted]  I want to state very clearly that [redacted] NEVER asked me to submit any documents to him. It seems like the people working at this store have the tendency to not tell the truth. I will mail the requested information to [redacted] at the store within a couple of days. It is important to notice that I don't have any invoices because from the beginning [redacted] said that he would provide the radiator and he only asked me to give the mechanic's fee for replacing the radiator. He didn't ask for any paperwork for this either.

have reviewed and see an issue with the order as well. We will have this online order refunded in the amount of $504.99 to the [redacted] card ending in [redacted]. We have issued two $20 off $50 Speed Perk coupons to Mr. [redacted] and the refund should show in 3-5 business days. inconvenience caused to our customer.  We have spoken with the General Manager,
[redacted], and she has reached out to Mr. [redacted].  Our customer returned to the store on 9-26-15
and received a full refund for the brake pads and shoes.  We have also reached out to the District
Manager, [redacted], to ensure that the customer service concerns are addressed with
all Team Members involved.

In regards to the
complaint that Mr. [redacted] has filed, we would like to respond further.
We have been in
contact with Sedgwick Insurance sine Mr. [redacted]’s last update.  Sedgwick
insurance had assigned Mr. [redacted]’s incident to our warranty department.  
We have asked Sedgwick to take ownership of the claim, and they have agreed to
do so.  At this time, any further updates
must come through Sedgwick CMS, as they will be handling this for Advance going
forward.

inconvenience this caused our customer.  We see where our customer called our Customer Care Team on 10/6/16.  It appears the analyst did correctly inform Ms. [redacted] that unfortunately, our refund policy requires parts to be in new condition for a refund within 90 days.   Due to the opportunity received, we will be mailing Ms. [redacted] a check for $11.94 as a one-time courtesy to the address provided, and it should arrive in 7-10 business days.  Since we are refunding the part, no further warranty will be honored on it; but Ms. [redacted] is welcome to keep it since we cannot resell it.   Our promise is to provide superior customer service and offer high quality products when you need them. [redacted].  We located an exchange receipt for 1 battery for Mr. [redacted] on 10/13/2016 and also see a battery purchase/exchange for a Professional Customer called “[redacted]”. Warranty is not transferrable and only belongs to the purchaser. We would like Mr. [redacted] to advise if he is associated with this “[redacted]” so we can better determine our advisement. Please be advised that overall we have only being able to locate a single battery purchase/exchanges and as of now will be unable to assist at all with the secondary battery without a Receipt different than the ones we currently have found.
