Aiding Student Relief Reviews (182)

I tried to work with Aiding Student Relief to consolidate my student loans and to make payments that were easy and affordable. The customer services reps I spoke with were extremely nice and helpful. BUT, once I signed up and started making monthly payments I receive a letter from my Navient stating they were not receiving any portion of the payments I were making to Aiding Student Relief. I tried calling my finanical advisor with the company Bryan (ASR) in more way than one. I tried calling and sending numerous emails. I also Called the other numbers associated with the company and NOTHING. So I had my bank do an investigation and nothing about them is REAL. they are a scam company trying to take advantage of graduates!!! Once I stopped payment with them, now all of a sudden they contact me looking for money. At that timeI expressed my concerns and let them know I will no longer be doing business with them NOW NOR IN THE FUTURE!! DO NOT FALL FOR IT!! JUST CONSOLIDATE WITH A BANK OR THE LENDER,!! THEY WILL WORK WITH YOU GREAT!!

Hello, I am sorry to hear you had a difficult time reaching us but I am glad that we were able to contact you in order to resolve this matter. After our discussion you have decided to part ways and prefer to handle the forgiveness plan on your own. Though we're sorry to see you go, we're glad...

you're taking full advantage of the program and hope you will be successful. Just the same, I have left you with my direct line and an open invitation to call us if you have questions for us in the future.

Great service from beginning to end. Very thankful.

They were very professional and was willing to help me with any questions I had.

This is a great program that allows you to save money while pursing a career. It gives you the financial freedom to achieve all of your goals on a yearly basis. Very beneficial to all who are struggling with student loan debt.

So thankful that I found Aiding Student Relief. They manage my student loan accounts, update an changes and are an absolute pleasure to deal with. All of the associates are very helpful and professional. Thank you so very much.

Here at Aiding Student Relief we believe in the highest quality of customer service and do everything in our power to make sure our clients get the best results available to them. In early 2015 the said client provided income information which was used to provide an estimated payment amount that...

reflects on the clients' agreement. Once Ms. [redacted] electronically signed the agreement verifying all information was accurate, and returned it to her origination agent the file was transferred to the processing department. Our processors who are experts in the field immediately began the submission of the clients file to the Department of Education. The income the client provided us was significantly less than the actual income reported to the IRS. The reported income to the IRS was $46,109. This is exactly $14,909 more than what the client verified before paying Aiding Student Relief any fee. At that point the client stated the income was still not accurate so we suggested she send her most recent paystubs. The paystubs did verify the gross income reported to the IRS was actually correct and the client had provided us with inaccurate income which lead to a difference in the payment she received. The timeline on the completion of the file is typically 60-90 days and we were able to get her file processed within that timeline.
Ms. [redacted] states that she never heard from our company after being charged. We regret to hear she feels that way, however, Aiding Students keeps track of all calls, emails and any work done on a file in very specific time and date stamped format that cannot be tampered with. There were several attempts at reaching Ms. [redacted] including voicemails and emails to her and we would love to provide her with this documentation.
Last but not least, the complaint states client was already paying the $133.00 monthly which is also not the case. The program Aiding Students was able to get the client enrolled in is a 20 year term with a payment amount of $133.12, but prior to our service the client was on a standard term for 30 years paying $284.36. Our system also shows the client would have qualified for a Public Service Forgiveness which would forgive the balance of her loan and any interest accrued after just 120 qualifying payments. Aiding Student Relief would love to address the above information with client but unfortunately we have not been able to get her on the phone.

To start off, I sat down and read through the whole 10-page document they sent me before I signed anything. Yes, and I, too, had a lawyer read over it. My advise to everyone is to do this first just like you would do before committing to anything whatsoever, this way you won't have issues in the future. I signed their service agreement, and as of right now, everything is looking good. I've done what these guys advised me to do, they warned me this might take a few months to complete and I got a green light from my lawyer to make my mind up.

"[redacted]" called me and stated that he would refund my money. Revdex.com left a note telling me that "[redacted]" spoke to you and that, "his hands were tied". Not only did he duped you he duped me from my money and I still have not gotten my refund from this company. They were too concern that my "comments" hurt their image. Their deception "hurt" my pocets. I just asked that you really get to them and good.

I am in a LOT of student loan debt but they've reassured me that I won't have to pay back any of it!

My experience with ASR has been quite pleasant. They have answered all my questions with quick and accurate responses, and are very professional and caring.

Hello,This was all just a minor misunderstanding; after submitting the necessary paperwork it takes between 30-45 days before a Lender will recognize any adjustments that are being made, which often takes place before their automatic monthly mailing system sends the borrower a bill. After...

explaining that to [redacted], I like to think we're back on the right track again. At ASR, we are committed to providing a hassle-free, risk-free service to our clients- in other words: satisfaction guaranteed. In this particular manner, we failed to inform [redacted] of all the possible outcomes and we fully intend to learn from this experience and grow from it. I thank [redacted] for being so reasonable on the subject.

I've been paying $19.00 to asr for 2 years now and when I went to try and call them to find out my payoff amount they are no longer in business? On Navient it's still in forbearance for the 7k. I remember talking to asr and them telling me they lowered it to 4k but going back over the documents I signed I can't find that in writing anywhere. I'm about to stop payment on the next one just to get someone to get a hold of me cause the number in the email is a home warranty company...

I am unsure about this company but know that they are not totally as they seem. I have been trying to pay on loans well over $170K for the past 15 years. I asked them for help and really not much has changed. They talked about forgiveness but say I don't qualify so in the end they really did nothing as I am having to again try to find ways to pay this off. I have many other loans for other things and other payments and this one is just adding to my stress (car, personal for health and school, mortgage, property taxes). Now they are taking $19 a month out of my account, why? I have asked two or three times now with no luck. If they take it out again with no answer I will put a stop payment on it and then we will talk I bet. Oh, and yes, you loan amount will INCREASE, so they do get their money from you. Mine went up about $25K, for NOTHING! Again, not any real help at all. BEWARE.

I am now 950.00 behind in payments to my loans because of this company. stopping payment and trying to recoup some of my money...

(855) 795-6100
Changed company name to AIDNEST. Total.scam.

I stopped payment they will get a hold of me and filed my own paperwork cause they did the same to me

This is a scam company working from Colombia in South America. Please do not give your social security or DOB, they will use this info to call the DOE impersonating you to change your lender. You will not get any forgiveness they will keep moving your loan and keep you on forbearance so they can get away with the $19.00 you will paid after the fee. Read the contract....... Nothing said Forgiveness on it.
