I am being harassed with emails after a client from my job took my work email and fraudulently used it to create an account on this annoying site. I DO NOT WANT THIS SERVICE. I have unsubscribed repeatedly. I have blocked the sender but the emails just go to my junk mail. THIS IS A WORK EMAIL. STOP HARASSING ME. NOW. If harassment does not stop, further action on my part WILL be taken.

I was able to find your account under the email *** and can confirm that it has already been deactivated and you will not receive any further emails from Alignable. From our records, it looks like you accepted an invitation to join Alignable on February 27, 2019 from *** from ***. Once the invitation was accepted, you completed the process to create an account for your business, which would explain why you were receiving emails with updates on what was happening in your local business community on Alignable. [A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

I accepted an invitation to alignable that was allegedly emailed from someone I knew. Once I joined, I found that it is a spam factory. There is no discernable service, and the site automatically sends out emails to anyone in my address book. There is a link to deactivate my account, but every time I click on it, it takes me instead to a page offering to upgrade my account. It says that deactivation instructions will be emailed and that an email has been sent, but there have been no instructions received on how to delete my account from this scam site. I have checked both my inbox and my junk email, nothing. I have tried to message the site via their chat, and there has been no response whatsoever.

I received an email from Alignable which had my bookkeepers name in it, so I responded. But now "Alignable" has taken my contacts which I NEVER PERMITTED and is sending both myself and my contacts constant spam and they are getting everyone else's contacts. My contact list also seems to be compromised. This is kind of like a virus and I don't know how to stop them.
I need my contacts restored and they need to stop emailing scams from my contact list. "Alignable" is clearly illegal.

Hi ***, I’m sorry that you had a poor experience, it is definitely not indicative of the service we provide our members.Alignable’s No. 1 priority is member satisfaction - a big portion of that satisfaction comes from our dedication to transparency and honesty. If your contacts are receiving email invitations to join Alignable’s network of over over 4.6 million small businesses, it’s likely you completed the optional step to import your address book in order to find those businesses on Alignable who you know, and those businesses who were not Alignable that you could invite to join your Alignable network. We ask members to go through this process as the people who are the most likely to refer their business to others are the businesses they know. Before invitations can be sent out to an imported address book, you are required to opt-in 5 times, including an affirmative opt-in that you want us to send invitations to your address book. Now, if you’d like, address books can be deactivated from your account to ensure that no further invitations or follow up invitations are sent to your address book. You can find instructions on how to do that: ***
If you have other questions about this process, you are more than welcome to contact our support team via our help center and we’d be happy to help. You can find our help center here: ***Best

This company will spam your colleagues so tell everyone to be aware. I received an email to join from a colleague and don't even remember clicking on anything as I was not interested in yet another social media networking association. Now months later, another colleague received an email supposedly from me recommending that she join this group, and it says I'm with a company isn't even the company I work for!!!! Ridiculous, I'm so annoyed and fearful that they are now sending out requests to my customers to join this ridiculous network. AVOID them like the plague.

I have reached out multiple times to this company to have my business and personal information removed after deleting my profile over a month ago. They still maintain active redirect links containing my business name which return in *** search results. They act as though they have no control over this and blame it on browser cache's and outdated search results. They also suggest using *** link removal tool- this does not work when the links are still active! I am a webmaster and know how these things work, they just refuse to remove my personal information. This website is a complete breach of privacy and never-ending spam which is why I deleted my account in the first place. I want no further association with this company and will be reaching out to my attorney next since reaching out to Alignable's customer service hasn't gotten me anywhere.

I got an email about joining Alignable, so I clicked on it and it wanted information, so I put it on hold until I could check them out. This was done last week. Since then they have sent out invitations to people on my email contact list to join Alignable, telling them that I sent the email and would they like to join. I never gave them permission to do that and I want it stopped and my name, email and contact list removed from their system ASAP. This is wrong. This is criminal to invade my information.

I have become a "target" of Alignable, Inc. by way of SPAM. Not only did I NOT sign up for the so-called social media platform, I have received emails from my contacts saying that they did NOT "invite" me to join. In fact, they too found themselves - their email/info - "highjacked" by Alignable's methods.

Hi ***, My name is *** and I am the Head of the Member Success team here at Alignable. I'd be happy to help you resolve this issue and thank you for bringing it up to our attention. The reason you are receiving such emails is because a current member of Alignable’s more than 4.6 small business owners invited you to join the network. Sending invitations to a member’s address book is optional and can only happen if the member decides to through a step-by-step process that requires them to opt-in 5 times, including an affirmative opt-in that they want us to send invitations to their imported address book. The goal of this process is to help them find and connect with the businesses who are the most likely to refer their business to others by showing which of their contacts are already members of Alignable, and which ones are not so that they can ask them to join their Alignable network. Now, to assist you in this matter, I have gone ahead and completely unsubscribed your email *** from any further invitations or emails from Alignable. In the future, if you have any further issues, you are more than welcome to email our support team via our help center and we’d be happy to help. All the best, ***.

This company is a huge scam! At first I thought is was okay but once they got my money, I stopped getting emails and referrals. There is no way to cancel memberships. The only thing I can do is get a new debit card.

I became a member with the Alignable networking site about a month ago. It seemed great to be in touch with others in my field of interest. Normally I would use my home computer to go into the site but I tried to use my *** to go in and I recieved a message that I could not link in because I was not set up with them. I was very confused as to why there was an issue with using a different device. They supposedly sent a link to go directly into their site and when I clicked into it, that's when the trouble began. I went into the site as always, but the whole page was blown way out of proportion. It was as if a giant magnifying glass was over everything and I could not read anything on the page.I could not use even my home computer for the site. The letters were ridiculously huge! I had tried to contact someone named *** who is an adviser on the board and even tried the number provided but got no response. I only want everything to be restored to the original format so I can readily access information. I am sure this is a configuration issue on their end.

I have reached out to them five times to have my business listing removed which features my private cell phone number. I did not authorize this information to be made public.

Per the terms and conditions of their site, I followed the instructions and contacted them via email. Despite being told on several occasions that the information will be removed. It has not been taken down and is still searchable via ***.

Hi ***, My name is *** and I am the Head of the Member Success team here at Alignable. Thanks for letting us know about the situation and for giving us the chance to provide some clarity and assistance.I was able to pull your account and I found that it has already been deactivated successfully. You can confirm given that when you try to click on the link, it will not take you to your business profile. It's important to note that when a link to a profile is deactivated, ***'s cache of results does not always update in real time, which can lead to you seeing old and inaccurate results. This process can take a few days to update but unfortunately, this is out of our control. In the meantime, I would suggest deleting your browser cache's so that you can get fresh search results from ***. If the problem still persists I would recommend submitting a search result takedown request.
