Terrible
This invasive platform snowballs from an invite, collecting your business info, collecting your business contacts, then starts spamming everyone you know, posing as your business. It communicates to existing customers!! It sends auto-generated emails with your signature to other business with no way to find out what was sent.
This "company" is incredibly deceitful and embarrassing and has zero benefits to the user.
I received an invite from a trusted contact. I was prompted to answer if I wanted to support my friends in business. I thought it was a new spin on ***. I should have looked up reviews. Terrible. Stay away.

I have never been so irritated or annoyed by a social platform. Alignable tricks its users into 'connecting' with contacts in the area, but you are not actually connecting. As soon as you press 'connect' you instead invite people you know to the platform. I run a painting company and I received an invitation form one of my customers who is a real estate agent, so of course I accepted, but then Alignable showed me a list of connections in my area on Alignable, so being that I thought I was just connecting with people I knew already on the platform, I hit 'connect'. Well, the next day someone I connected with asked why I had invited them to join Alignable, and I have also had a handful of other people also tell me they have accepted my 'invitation' to Alignable. And the worst part is that once you accept, you are bombarded by non-stop notifications and emails everyday from the platform. So now not only do I receive hundreds of notifications harassing me, but all of the people who I though I was connecting with but I actually invited are also getting the same and are also annoyed. As a business owner, this is embarrassing and a huge inconvenience for my business. Instead of helping my business which is what they claim the platform is for, it has actually hurt my business. In order to stop getting emails you have to uncheck nearly 20 boxes, and then if you try to deactivate your account they take forever to actually send you the email with instructions on how to actually deactivate, and then you need to wait for it to process. I wish I never accepted that first invitation.

I signed up for Alignable and within 48 hours realized I wanted to delete my account. Alignable offers no contact phone number to members, so I had to research how to delete my account. Discovering an article on Alignable's website explaining how to delete my account (they call it "deactivating an account"), I followed their instructions exactly, only to receive an email that repeated the article's instructions.

So I'm stuck in a loop of the company's own making. I followed the instructions that they supply and all I get is an email from ***, looping me back to Alignable's article telling me how to request my own account deleted.

Each time I respond to the email *** sends me the same email again, suggesting I go to Alignable's website to delete my account. Around and around we go.

The Revdex.com revealed Alignable's business phone number. I called and heard a recording. Selecting the Support option, I heard a second recording, requesting I leave my contact info and my call would be returned. Calling a second time I chose the Sales option and once again was invited to leave my info so they could call me back. (Neither the company's website, the company's instructions, nor the company's phone number allowed me to speak to a real person so my issue could be resolved.)

Interestingly, their email autoresponder continues sending me emails. So they can contact me anytime they want to, yet, using all the resources available to me, they don't allow me to contact them.

I can always change my settings so that their relentless emails stop coming. That's not what I want. I want my account deleted and my information removed from Alignable's records.

Responsible, ethical businesses don't make contacting them impossible. Nor do they fail to respond to requests from customers or members.

Alignable does not follow traditional, acceptable business practices, leaving me no alternative but to file a Revdex.com report.

Alignable is using my picture to advertise for ***.

I had an account with them but have unsubscribed from them.
I never worked for or represented the company.

I did a *** search on my name and discovered this information after a warning from credit bureau about security breach alerts and how to guard you information on these websites and social media and your private info.

It was advertised that they would upgrade my account for $5 per month. In smaller print (which I did not see on my phone) it said that the cost was $200. When I saw the receipt for $205 I immediately wrote & called to cancel this charge. I have not received any response. I have called their offices 3 times and there is never an agent available. I left 3 messages and no one has called me back. I have emailed and no response.

Sent me a connection request purporting to be from a business associate. I immediately contacted the associate who denied any association with this company.
They are falsely trying to get you to sign up in some sort of business network, while collecting your username and password.

Greetings,

I have attempted to have Alignable remove a profile with my name, company, photo, and personal/private telephone number, yet the company has not. I do not have an account with the company, and have attempted to gain access to remove the account myself, but I have been unsuccessful. Communication with the company has yielded no result, as I have attempted to contact the company by telephone and email. The telephone numbers located are not for the company, or a cell phone with only voicemail. The contact us via email, was also unsuccessful. I do not want my information published on the site, and it has been impossible to have them remove it, despite instructions on how to remove the listing.

Company advertises as a Referral Business however it is just a platform for Spam and Solicitation calls (to my cell) since signup. Not one email nor call was referral but attempt to sell, many non related to type of business. Attempts to resolve with business requesting they delete the account entirely have gone unanswered. Following their online instructions for deleting is actually only deactivating but sends you in circles. They only allow you to deactivate the account but won't process the online request for deactivation- again goes unanswered. Deactivation does not resolve the matter because the deactivation just allows for an email preference to be removed (already sold) plus it doesn't remove the phone number (already sold). These are nuisance emails and calls. Unsubscribing to said emails increases volume of spam because of confirmed email address.

Hi ***, I am so sorry for the frustration. Thanks for letting me know about the situation and giving me the chance to solve this problem for you. First, this is obviously not indicative of the service we provide our members. Alignable’s No. 1 priority is member satisfaction through transparency and honesty. That being said, I do apologize for the delayed reply in our correspondence through our support channels as we have been receiving a higher than normal volume of messages that we are currently working to respond to as soon as possible. We can confirm, however, that your account has been successfully deactivated and your information removed. All the best, ***Member Success Team at Alignable

I received an invite from someone to join the site. I clicked the link and began to put in my info (at an email address different than the one where I received the initial invite) when I realized that it required a login from a *** account to access the site. I did not log in to *** as I did not want to give access to my contacts or information to an unknown company. I closed the window without completing the sign-in, but still received an email to the *** account that I had put in a fill in box but never fully submitted.

The company goes against strong practices for privacy opt-in. After I received the email at my new address, I went to the site to see what had been created on my behalf and, without having an active login, already had an account created. (This was without being signed in to the site). I went to a deactivate option for the account and when I clicked the link, the site said it was downloading my contacts from my *** and other places, again without my permission.

I then deactivated my account, but the company already had access to various accounts of mine, without my permission. I have never come across a site like this. It is a scam of a company.

Do not click on any links from the company if you have any concern of an unknown company gaining access to your information without your explicit permission.

Hello Mr., I am so sorry for the confusion. Thanks for letting me know about the situation and giving me the chance to provide some clarity. First, this is obviously not indicative of the service we provide our members. Alignable’s No.1 priority is member satisfaction through transparency and honesty.Because we know that the people who are most likely to recommend and refer you are already in your network, we give you the opportunity to connect your *** account and import your email connections at your discretion. No contacts are imported or invited to join without our members’ permission. Ultimately, expediting referrals for you is the goal. And, for your reference, here are some examples showing how our process has driven referrals for other members: Alignable Success Stories. That being said, we reviewed your account under the email ***@***.com for the business account “***” on Alignable and we can confirm that your *** address was not connected. Because it was not connected, there were also no *** contacts imported to Alignable. Finally, we can also confirm that your account has been successfully deactivated. If there is anything else that we can help remedy, feel free to contact us at [email protected] and one of our team members would be more than happy to make any further changes to your account that reflect your needs. This company will use your contacts list to send "invites" on your behalf when you have not given consent for them to do so. Don't ever open an email from them or sign up for anything that they offer.

This company practices unethical activities. They mine your contact list and then spam you and others with "invitations" to join a network. Proof: I still have names and address information in my contact list of individuals and/or companies that I have not been in contact with for a decade or more and would never consider talking to the individuals much less doing business with them.
Avoid Alignable. It is just a 'wanna-be' *** or ***.

Hi ***,
I am so sorry to hear about your frustrations. Thanks for the chance to provide some clarity. Alignable’s No.1 priority is member satisfaction through transparency and honesty.
Let me start by explaining why we ask our members to go through the process of connecting their address books with Alignable. At its core, Alignable is a site dedicated to helping small business owners generate referrals by networking with their existing connections and with literally millions of other small business owners in our network.
Because we know that the people who are most likely to recommend and refer you are already in your network, we give you the opportunity to connect your address book and import your email connections at your discretion. Rest assured, no contacts are imported or invited to join without our members’ permission. And we offer them the ability to choose which members from their contact list they would like to add to their Alignable network.
Ultimately, expediting referrals and recommendations for your business is the goal. And, for your reference, here are some examples showing how our process has driven referrals for other members: Alignable Success Stories.
That being said, we want to help remedy your situation. Please reach out to [email protected] with your business and account information and one of our team members can help make changes to your account that reflect your current needs.
All the best,
Nick P
