I have reached out to them five times to have my business listing removed which features my private cell phone number. I did not authorize this information to be made public.

Per the terms and conditions of their site, I followed the instructions and contacted them via email. Despite being told on several occasions that the information will be removed. It has not been taken down and is still searchable via ***.

Hi ***, My name is *** and I am the Head of the Member Success team here at Alignable. Thanks for letting us know about the situation and for giving us the chance to provide some clarity and assistance.I was able to pull your account and I found that it has already been deactivated successfully. You can confirm given that when you try to click on the link, it will not take you to your business profile. It's important to note that when a link to a profile is deactivated, ***'s cache of results does not always update in real time, which can lead to you seeing old and inaccurate results. This process can take a few days to update but unfortunately, this is out of our control. In the meantime, I would suggest deleting your browser cache's so that you can get fresh search results from ***. If the problem still persists I would recommend submitting a search result takedown request. Here's the link to do so:***If there is anything else that we can do to help, feel free to contact our support team at *** All the best, ***. Member Success Team at Alignable

I received an invitation from another small business to join this company and should have done my homework!! It is pure SPAM!!! I "think/hope" I have deactivated my account, and have unsubscribed from all emails from them. Avoid them at all costs, as they send emails to anyone from your contact list...

Hi ***,
My name is Nick and I am the Head of the Member Success team here at Alignable. Thanks for letting us know about the situation and for giving us the chance to provide some clarity.
First, this is not indicative of the service we strive to provide our members.? Our No.1 priority is member satisfaction through transparency and honesty.
That being said, I took a look at your account and I confirmed the reason you received these emails is because another member business of Alignable (*** invited you to join Alignable's referral network for small businesses. Once you received the invitation, you accepted the invitation by clicking through the email and clicking sign up. This created an Alignable account for your email.
When an account is created, we try to communicate to new members via email the necessary information they need to become successful at generating referrals on Alignable. These were the emails you received after signing up.
To assist you in this matter, however, we have confirmed that the account was successfully deactivated, and your email completely unsubscribed, ensuring that you don't receive any further emails.
Further, regarding asking members to upload their contact lists to Alignable. Doing so is completely optional and we do so with the goal of assisting our members in kickstarting their network on Alignable by finding all of the businesses they know that are already on their network so that they can start exchanging referrals with them much sooner. Connecting an address book also ensures that you can connect with the businesses you know for free.
If you have any further questions about this process, or about Alignable, feel free to contact our support team at [email protected].
All the best,
Nick P

I was contacted by email from this company fraudulently. It said that my friend referred me which wasn't true. I pressed the unsubscribed button several times and I keep getting their emails. I sent them an email and it was returned to me saying it is "an unmanned. Email" I called and that was unmanned as well. I want to be removed from their mailings. Because all of this was on a fraudulent basis I will not pay for anything. I called and left a message explaining that I want to be removed and that I will not be paying for anything.

First, this is not indicative of the service we strive to provide our members. Our No.1 priority is member satisfaction through transparency and honesty. The email that you received is an invitation to exchange referrals on Alignable with other small businesses. The email is not a referral in itself. The invitation may have been generated after a member connected their email address book to see who they knew who were already on Alignable with the goal of seeing who they knew who were already on Alignable. By finding those people, they can kickstart their network and find potential referral opportunities. Afterwards, we also prompt our members if they would like to invite businesses who are not members of Alignable so that they can have the ability to exchange referrals on the platform. I checked your account under the email ***, and it looks like you did, in fact, accept the invitation to join the network. Once you do, you are eligible to receive email updates and notifications about your account. While you did unsubscribe from certain types of emails, you did not unsubscribe from all emails. I signed up for the free Alignable. Not a bad thing if used correctly.. but my policy is to never add or allow any site access to my contacts list. HOWEVER...my mailing address got added as my business address. Impossible to change, says it needs manager approval (really?????) and can take up to 24hrs. A week later and still not changed. No answer from customer service chat. The HelpBot is worthless. *** Alignable complaints to find a phone number that is never answered. I suppose I get what I paid for, but it seems they want me to PAY to be a member then I will get better customer support?

I got an invite to join and before doing research on the company I went ahead and accepted the invite. The first thing I was asked was to give permission to access my contacts list. I did not grant permission--and, boy, am I glad I listened to my instincts... I have repeatedly been asked to give access to my contacts list--I just ignore the prompts.
I endeavored to fill out a profile and quickly encountered a lot of bugs--so the site's development is poor.
I have since done some research and there is a wealth of negative feedback on this business. I am not impressed so far and am inclined to agree with the negative feedback I have seen: that it's likely a scam or at the very least a very insidious, duplicitous business, that tries to take advantage of folks who are desperate to start or grow a business. STAY AWAY.

I got an email about joining Alignable, so I clicked on it and it wanted information, so I put it on hold until I could check them out. This was done last week. Since then they have sent out invitations to people on my email contact list to join Alignable, telling them that I sent the email and would they like to join. I never gave them permission to do that and I want it stopped and my name, email and contact list removed from their system ASAP. This is wrong.
This is criminal to invade my information.

While not required to use Alignable, because we know that the people who are most likely to recommend and refer your business are already in your network, we give members the opportunity to connect their email address book to import their email connections at your discretion. In order to send invitations to your imported address book, we ask you to confirm 5 times, which includes a confirmation that you want us to send invitations to your contacts. During this process, we offer the ability to send invitations to a select few, or all of your contacts. No contacts are imported from your email provider or invited to join Alignable without our members' permission. Ultimately, expediting referrals for you and our members is the goal.

For members that upload their address book, they are free to message our support team and ask that their address books be deactivated to ensure no further invitations are sent. To contact us, follow the instructions in this article here: ***
Regarding your account, it has already been deactivated, and thus no further invitations should be sent to any address books you connected to your account. If there is anything else that we can do to help, feel free to contact our support team via our help center at ***.
