in accepting and banning people for no reason on the internet those of us that are clients of other organizations are toyed with on a consistent basis, the app is mainly focused on Government and Women and sexism and seem to only collect information about folks and regardless of how a person is treated they simply IGNORE peoples Complaints by not providing any TECH SUPPORT FOR ANYONE that has a problem with there account and then using the excuse that they are based in Australia so they don't have to help anyone breaking many international laws that people in the USA would be in jail for if they did it even tho they claim to be based in California

They posted a picture that I removed prior to posting that contain confidential information Yet it was still posted This is a major security flaw within their system If you select a wrong picture it still posts without your knowledge I had to delete my account as that was the only way I feel safe that my wrong information is no longer there along with the incorrect picture with sensitive information that was posted without my knowledge as I thought it was deleted Plus there is no way to contact them to find out how I know if this was removed so no one else would see it!

The time when I joined/created an account it was because I got a postcard in the mail with one of my neighbors name on it that was saying how my neighborhood is currently using a system called Nextdoor to link the neighborhood and for people to add on there like missing dog or items for sale just sounded like a great community thing that I loved the idea of although after getting into it and seeing how many of my neighbors and people across the country had joined I loved it but then I started getting phone calls from people and texts saying like "stop inviting me to nextdoor it's getting really annoying" and I just was thinking I didn't invite to anything and then I started seeing how they were sending postcards around inviting people and the worst part is the post cards had my name on it like I was sending them and wrote them also nextdoor started getting a hold of my contacts through the app on my phone and sending out invitations "from Me" taking away my integrity with many people and customers of my business they are just taking peoples info and also hiding behind other peoples name to invite more people to give up there info about the most unethical business i've seen
Nextdoor deactivated my account without warning stating that I must use my real name The guidelines state that I may use my name commonly used by me or that I'm known by in my neighborhood I use my first and middle initial along with my last name I was told by them to provide a drivers license or credit card with my commonly used name Drivers license and credit cards only have your first and last name, not your commonly used or known by name They are violating there own guidelines
