Nextdoor fails to follow the practices that it claims to use in its response to the Revdex.com on a regular basis They DO NOT notify members of potential problems before taking actions to disable accounts nor do they inform members that they have taken action after they do so They are becoming a untrustworthy moderator for neighborhood conversations
in accepting and banning people for no reason on the internet those of us that are clients of other organizations are toyed with on a consistent basis, the app is mainly focused on Government and Women and sexism and seem to only collect information about folks and regardless of how a person is treated they simply IGNORE peoples Complaints by not providing any TECH SUPPORT FOR ANYONE that has a problem with there account and then using the excuse that they are based in Australia so they don't have to help anyone breaking many international laws that people in the USA would be in jail for if they did it even tho they claim to be based in California

On Sat., July 28, 2018, I posted an innocuous opinion about a construction project in my hometown of San Ramon, CaliforniaA woman in the neighborhood (VC) began a series of harassing, insulting and slanderous remarks against meHad no idea who she was or why she would do thisShe ranted and raved It went on for HOURSI contacted Nextdoor*** but it was hours before they responded - claimed they opened a report on it - stated they would get back to me within hoursIt has now been five days...NO word has come forth from them whatsoever in any way, shape or formThe local police department says this is not unusual with themWowSince I was both threatened and harassed on their online website, there really isn't any more I can do as a citizenI just think any online service that CLAIMS they are promoting "goodwill" within neighborhoods and then fails to respond within the realm of their customer service/support when such a serious matter occurs, that it indicates the site IS
Do not post using this site! They posted a picture that I removed prior to posting that contain confidential information Yet it was still posted This is a major security flaw within their system If you select a wrong picture it still posts without your knowledge I had to delete my account as that was the only way I feel safe that my wrong information is no longer there along with the incorrect picture with sensitive information that was posted without my knowledge as I thought it was deleted Plus there is no way to contact them to find out how I know if this was removed so no one else would see it!
*** *** is a website that promotes getting recommendations from your neighborhoodI've been an active member for over years, and serve as a lead, which means I've generated multiple clients for them by work of mouthI created a business page with them in addition to my personal page, and I've been discriminated against over and over againMy business is to restore and beautify homes in my area, specifically ones in my neighborhoodPrior to me putting up my business page which explains that I'm a "flipper", I've never had any issuesI asked about a washer repair service a few months ago, and was told I'm soliciting my business and was taken down, again a few days ago I asked for a recommendation for any homes within our area that looked vacant, vandalized, or in bad shape, and I was willing to fix them in order to beautify our neighborhoodI do this all on my own dimeI cannot take down my business page and I wish I couldI'm now being told that asking to fix up homes t
I can't see a site being helpful for community policing, especially when neighbors don't do their part anyways, so social media for a neighborhood or any neighborhood in fayetteville, nc will never work This may work in tight-knit communities where people actually care, but social media? Nextdoor deactivated my account without warning stating that I must use my real name The guidelines state that I may use my name commonly used by me or that I'm known by in my neighborhood I use my first and middle initial along with my last name I was told by them to provide a drivers license or credit card with my commonly used name Drivers license and credit cards only have your first and last name, not your commonly used or known by name They are violating there own guidelines
