This was the second time I was out of town and AAA failed to respond when called After calling back to complain they blame it on my not talking to the home officeWhen calling from out of town all calls are routed to the local office so it is impossible to reach your local office nor can I even go online and access my account because once again routing is based on IP address of inquiryI travel extensively so it makes the service absolutely worthless to me

write in reply to the complaint filed with the Revdex.com Our licensed appraiser inspected the vehicle and noted the following: Damage to the differential is consistent with separation of the lower ball joint while driving, allowing the shaft to pull out and cause rotational contact with the
differential carrier spline and, the shaft while trying to engage while drivingThe transmission shop was unable to re-engage the shaft into the differential carrier, We verified that the car will move but, makes noise when trying to engage into parkDamage is due to ball joint failure and axle pulling out

We strive to arrange the best possible roadside assistance at the time of your disablement and, as stated on AAA.com, in some cases we utilize independent contractors to provide serviceIf an allegation of damage arises during the delivery of service, as was the case here, we
certainly attempt to mediate a resolution between both parties in an effort to reach an amicable solutionHowever, there were some mitigating factors which made it challenging for us to establish liability against the Independent Service Provider in your caseThe original date of the service call was April 1, at which time your vehicle was jump startedThere was an additional request for service on this vehicle on April 9, with no mention of the alleged damage from the prior service callThe first report of an allegation of damage was made by you on May 11, The alleged damaged component part (IDrive) was replaced prior to AAA’s notification and subsequently not available for testing or inspection by a representative of AAAUpon inspection of your vehicle by your repair facility, it was noted on their invoice dated May 9, 2017, that there were no blown fuses and “this is a common failure on these vehiclesRecommend replacing I Drive controller and rechecking”Regrettably, we were unable to mediate this case in your favor as such, I can only suggest pursuing this through other means directly with the independent contractor

I write in reply to acknowledge the receipt to the complainants rebuttal. We did in fact tender an offer of settlement to simply resolve this matter without accepting liability. The bumper on the vehicle had sustained catastrophic damage that cracked it in half, it was improperly repaired while it was in the possession of the original owner, and was therefore determined to be pre-existing.In a search of our email and phone databases, we have no record of receiving any calls or emails from the complainant since prior to this action being taken with the Revdex.com.A check is bring produced, made payable to the member who was present during service, the complainants daughter

I write in reply to the complainants rebuttal.Although our initial response did not resolve your issue, I would encourage you to work with your insurance companyThey may also feel free to contact us as well
