I write to acknowledge receipt of this complaint. As per our policy, we were not afforded an opportunity to test the battery prior to replacement and in instances such as this a refund would not be provided. However, as a gesture of goodwill and in recognition of your membership tenure we can apply...

an internal credit towards your next membership renewal, in addition to the other three members’ on this account, totaling $118.00.

I write in reply to acknowledge the receipt of your complaint to the Revdex.com.Although I understand that you contend that all was needed was a jump start, that may or may not have been a conclusive solution. In our Membership Terms on AAA.com, we do advise that we make no representations or...

The car has been looked over and there isn't anything that is/was draining the AAA battery. Since the last communication with AAA, I've purchased a battery and the car is running normally as it did prior to the install of the AAA battery.

I do not agree with the AAA response. Before they towed the car there was no error indication with regard to the sensor. After the AAA dropped the car off of the tow mechanism, the garage owner indicated that the error condition was present immediately after the tow and that he stated that tow truck did the damage.

I write in reply to acknowledge the receipt of this concern. The member was told on May 11, 2016, that she needed to sign and return a document to us, before the address would be officially changed. A fax was sent out with the new address on May 24, 2016 but, it would not be...

officially changed without her returning the form with her signature.  And without that signature we would not send any bills/notices to the new address. It is unclear to me why the member is seeking a refund of $60.00, when she was only charged $23.00 of which, $7.98 is being refunded. If you feel as though we have misunderstood your premise, kindly let me know.

As I have explained in my previous message, your technician said that the iDrive controller was not functioning because the vehicle was trying to conserve power after it was initially jumped.  This explains why I did not immediately report the issue.  Your technician also stated that the battery was still good and did not need to be replaced.  However, my car was not able to start on its own after two additional jumps.  At that time I decided to take the car to my mechanic.  I relied on your technician's assessment that the battery did not need to be replaced and that the iDrive controller was not functioning because the car was conserving energy while the battery was recharging over a period of time.  I hope this explains why my claim was reported at a later date after the initial damage.  With all due respect relative to the sub-contractor, the service was provided by AAA and any of its sub-contractors are AAA's responsibility.
