I write in reply to acknowledge the receipt of your concern. Please accept my apologies for the amount of time that you have had to invest in trying to get to the bottom of this. I will have a member of our team call you tomorrow to work this through to conclusion.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below. This issue has been squashed for 1.5 months which should be a cut and dry issue from day one after the incident happened.  1. What I tried to explain from the first complaint, is that who is going to pay for this inspection?  I am assuming you at AAA?  2. When my car is taken apart on a lift and photos are being taken and then work is being authorized, is a rental car going to be provided, not to mention time and inconvenience of even having to deal with this? Can the photos be taken here at my house to avoid the hassle of driving to a shop and waiting for an appointment date?

Good afternoon,So, the member rejected our response however, due to the fact that she had the battery replaced prior to notifying us, we consider the battery warranty to be null and void.

I never thought a battery that was less then 6 months old would not work.  I kept having trouble and thought (due to the battery being less then 6 months old and brand new) that it could never be that what was causing my car not to want to start.  I thought it was the starter or the alternator.  I don't have the pleasure of time to  call AAA and wait for them to come and check on a defective battery.  I don't trust AAA as why would a brand new battery not work less then 6 months later.  I had to take the car to my mechanic as it would not start while at work and that is where the mechanic was.  I will have AAA come and get  their old (supposedly new) battery and I would like a refund.the address is [redacted] MA

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Again, I am very unhappy with AAA denying the damage that their driver caused to my vehicle as well as do not appreciate the driver and staff lying about taking pictures of the damage. I would like to have Revdex.com become involved to resolve my complaint and assist me with getting my car fixed.

I had opened a complaint #[redacted]  against  AAA -  R.I. for damage done to my daughters car when towing. They refuse to admit damaging the car even though I provided a signed statement from the service center manager they towed the car from.AAA offered to make a settlement to resolve the situation which I agreed would be the best option. Revdex.com closed the case  at that point.I have tried to contact AAA through phone and email and they will not respond to my request for what type of settlement they would offer.I would like to reopen the complaint to determine why the offered to settle then have not responded to my repeated requests for details.

I write in reply to the complaint submitted by the member.Regrettably, since your Daughter was listed as the Primary on the membership, she would be the only person on the membership who would be allowed to effect any changes to the account. This unfortunate situation that you have...

described with your Daughter, which caused you to move from the residence on record for the membership, is considered to be a civil matter. You may wish to seek relief through other arbitration or mediation services, up to, and including, a Small Claims action or, the Attorney General's office against your Daughter to recover the monies that you are seeking.

I already called on the phone and waited for 3 hours without any resolution. I will only call back if you provide a direct number to a human that is going to resolve this.

Not looking to have the matter resolved outside of the Revdex.com complaint. I will give the AAA the time needed to research this. Looking forward to a speedy resolution.

Upon further review, I noted that there had been a previous account set up in the persons name, with that knowledge, it would seem that a prudent person would be familiar with what they had purchased. Although there have been subtle changes over the years to membership benefits and services, transfer of membership to a non member has never been allowed. Typically, when non members call to join and obtain service, it is because there is an immediate need at the roadside. I was pleased to see that we did offer to join the non member and extend coverage for service however, the offer was declined. Our decision remains to uphold the cancellation fee. As previously stated, all terms of membership can be viewed at AAA.com.

I write in reply to the receipt of this members rebuttal.Although I understand the premise of your questions, this is a unique situation in that the representative from your home Club who will be re-inspecting the vehicle, is not the person who will direct liability. Whether the inspection is done at a shop or, at your residence, we will need a variety of pictures, preferably with the wheel removed.

I write to acknowledge the receipt of the members rebuttal to our reply. In the interest of settling this matter amicably and, simply as a gesture of good faith to our AAA member, we would be willing to extend a onetime reimbursement of half of the amount of the ABS sensor and associated labor. By the members calculation, it would be $231.00. In the event that the member is looking to recover the entire amount of the repair and labor, this would have to be pursued independently by the member with the independent service provider whom he alleges is responsible and, his repair shop that has alleged that it occurred as a result of the towing of his vehicle.

I write in reply to the complainant's rejection.Although unfortunate, the reasoning for the rejection is baseless and without merit.

I write in reply to the complaint that you filed with the Revdex.com.  We have spoke to the consumer and reviewed this situation. We have decided as a gesture of good will to provide a reimbursement in the prorated amount remaining on the battery.

I write to acknowledge the receipt of this members complaint. Please accept my sincere apology for the frustration you have expressed in your complaint. It is my understanding that the representative from your home Club who inspected the vehicle, failed to adequately capture...

quality photographs (1 picture of the odometer, 1 of the wheel on the vehicle). Typically, when our Club inspects allegations of damage such as this, we do so in a repair shop environment, on a lift. The photo's and documentation alone, are not enough to substantiate the validity of this claim. We will be contacting [redacted] at AAA Hartford to arrange a re-inspection.
