Review: Company advertises on T. V. Their " Chop Magic" . The product does not work !!! Once they have your credit card info they ship a double order-- a $26.00 order winds up costing $67.00+. Once you get the product you find it can't chop a thing -- the cost of returning the products with additional postage and no return of their S &H charges -- make it a waste of good money chasing a company that falsely advertises and fraud by by doubling and charging for a worthless product. Returning our initial payment would be appreciated -- but the better resolve would be to put this scam company out of business. Review: High pressure upselling on automated system. Not given final price charged to credit card or order confirmation number or estimated delivery date. The company is "Ruggies". I responded to their ad shown on TV by calling the phone number and reached an automated system. After taking my order and credit card number (I declined the upselling options), I was subjected to additional layers of high-pressure upselling for over 20 minutes. Not able to have the option of speaking to a representative or to conclude the call in any way to obtain the final price being charged to my credit card or get an order confirmation number, I finally hung up after "winning a vacation to the Bahamas". I have never felt so worked over, flim-flammed, scammed and victimized. Even if their product was any good (which I now doubt), I still wouldn't want it because of this experience. I was able to get through finally to a customer service number and supposedly my card has been credited but "the order has been processed and shipping can't be cancelled." (I called at 6 PM Pacific Time to order and 7AM next day to cancel. Their U.S. customer service is Eastern Time.) I have concern that such a company has my credit card number and also that they might sell my name and information.Desired Settlement: Have not yet been able to verify if the refund has been credited to my credit card account. Do not sell my name and information to other entities.

Review: When you order one pair of these lousy glasses which have misleading ads, they send two pair and charge a double extremely overpriced delivery fee.

I ordered off the Internet a few days ago and tried to cancel the order as soon as I read some awful reviews, but it was impossible to contact them or to try to only order one pair. They deliberately make it hard and charge double exorbitant delivery fees. It is a rotten outfit!

Review: I contacted the company after receiving merchandise. I was told over the phone I could order one item and the price would be $27.94. After receiving the merchandise the company sent out 2 items and charged me shipping and handling for the extra one. I did not order. I never received an invoice on my order. When I called to complain the company told me I could not return the items. I was not happy about them charging me $35.89. I would like my money returned and the company told me they would only credit me $5.00. I am very unhappy and will never order over the TV again. Review: I placed an order over the phone. Only order one forever comfy it was buy one get one free. They charged me for 2 which came to almost $80.00

I ordered over the phone the forever comfy. It was buy one get one free. It should of came to about $40.00 they charged me double the amount and charged my credit card $79.70. I called them they said they doubled my order and now I have to pay more money to ship this back! I don't want any of these now! Review: The web-site verbiage is ambiguous, tricking the customer into selecting more than intended to order. i.e. buy one get one offer is worded such that you believe you need to select two. Your order is processed before you have a chance to review it as it customary on most sites. There appears to be no way to cancel your order online and customer service is not available on weekends. I will attempt to contact customer service on Monday to cancel my order in hopes that it is not already processed and sent before that time. This in my opinion is not an honest way to do business by tricking the customer into order more than they're expecting, not allowing them to review the order before it is processed, and not being available afterward to correct issues. While the product ordered looks like it could be useful, I do not need it badly enough to do business with a company that resorts to trickery in order to squeeze more dollars out of the customer. Re Complaint ID [redacted], the matter has been resolved. Customer service was very friendly and refunded my credit card and asked that I not accept delivery of the package when it arrived. I still believe their website is deceiving and the customer should be allowed to confirm the order before it is submitted. They are relying on obtaining money from those who won't bother requesting a refund once they realize they've been scammed.

Review: I saw the commercial for the Forever Comfy Cushion being advertized for $19.95 plus the cost of shipping and handling. In the advertizement it stated that all purchases qualify for a second comfy cushion free of charge. When I checked my account this morning I was devistated to know that this company had taken $114.70 out of my account. I immediately contacted the customer service number ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### in reference to this bogus charge. I expressed my concern of the misleading and false advertizement and requested a full refund and to cancel the order. The representative stated the order had already been shipped and that I would not receive a refund untill 3 to 5 business days! I will NOT EVER order from this company again!!!!!!! I should have known when I called to place the order it was ALL automated and tried to sell you EVERYTHING other than what you called for... WHAT A BETTER WAY TO SCAM PEOPLE THAT WORK HARD FOR THEIR MONEY!!!!! I have repeatedly asked to be taken off all of their lists and have insisted that they not send me anymore spam. Most of their emails do not contain easy ways to opt out of mailings, and so I am required to follow links provided to obtain email addresses. This is an incredible waste of my time and crossed the line into harassment.Desired Settlement: I want my email address to be permanently expunged from all of their records and lists immediately.

Review: My husband saw these advertised on tv,they are binocular glasses buy one for 10 bucks get the second pair for free. I went to the web site and tried to order these, well to start with they were 10 a pair plus 7.95 shipping, could not just order 1 pair, ended up ordering 8 pairs?? at the cost of 97.60. I immediately called their customer service and the customer service rep informed me that she could not pull my info up yet that it took 24 hours for her to see it on her end..I told her what had happened and that I only wanted 1 pair plus the free one, she told me after 24 hours I could go online and cancel them or call back and they could fix it. This morning 7-**-13 at 7:45 I called the customer service back approx 10 hours after I had last talked with them and the rep informed me they had already shipped out, which by the way according to their site takes 4 weeks to reach you..I told him that it was crazy the lady told me I could fix it after 24 hours, he gave me some b.s about how their website and their order dept are delayed, I told him that was poor business and explained how you couldn't really order accurately from their site, he told me :: here's what I'm going to do for ya...I will take off 70 some bucks and give you 8 pairs of glasses for 25 bucks..I told him I thought this company was a scam..Since you cannot cancel or alter your order cannot contact customer service by computer and when you call they give you the bullcrap line of we cant do anything for 24 hours only to be told 10 hours later oh we have already shipped them out.. Review: This company, doing business as "Secret Extenions" is selling a product that in NO WAY resembles the color or texture of real hair and does not look or feel like other hair extensions (natural or synthetic) commonly found on the market. They are essentially selling synthetic doll hair, but advertising it as "natural" and stating it blends in seamlessly with one's own hair. It absolutely does not.

The online complaints about this product are extensive, as are the complaints about the difficultly of returning it for the promised refund. At this point, I have been unsuccessful in reaching customer service by phone to obtain a tracking number to use for returning it. They require this number for all returns.

I am also concerned because they use a stipulation that the package containing the hair must not be opened for the customer to be eligible to receive a refund. However, it is completely impossible to assess the color or quality of the product without being able to touch it and compare the color right next to your own. This requirement makes this look like a cash grab wherein they lure customers by using a different product in advertising and then stick you with the unsatisfactory product because you can't tell if it will work of not if it's left in the package. It's a no-win for the consumer. They appear to have done this with hundreds, if not thousands of customers.Desired Settlement: Refund for the full price of the product.

My other hope is for this company to either drastically improve the quality or stop selling this product entirely and stop duping the public. It seems like the only positive reviews came from people who were given the product for free. Most negative reviewers have called it a scam and condemned the bait-and-switch tactics. (The synthetic hair shown in the commercials is quite obviously not the same product consumers are receiving.)
