Review: I placed an order for an Ultimate Detangle Brush, Sunday 8/*/13 @ [redacted] pm, the ad stated Buy one get one free for $14.95-+ $5.95 S &H. I went only and place my order. The first thing that came up was billing information, to enter my credit card number. I entered that information. It asked what brush I wanted, thick, normal, fine. I selected 1 thick and 1 fine for my free one. The next step, was if I wanted a bag for my brush, $5. each. I clicked that. At this point, my order should be $30.90- ($14.95 Buy1get1 brush + $5.95 S&H + $5.00 bag + $5.00 bag) the next screen was my order was complete $88.65. At no point, did it show me my order to confirm, verify what I had ordered. It showed me I had 2 thick brushes, 2 fine brushes, 1 special thick brush, 5 bags, and shipping & handing $23.80. I immediately called the telephone number ###-###-####, a recording answered call [redacted] 8am-8pm eastern time. I called 8:00am 8/*/13 about this huge $57.75 overcharge. I spoke with [redacted]. I asked to cancel the order if it could not be charged correctly. She said it was already shipped. She said she would refund me $20.00 for the order & I could return the order when it arrived if I didn't want it and I would receive a refund except the shipping. I received the order 8/**/13. 10 days later. It did have 5 brushes and 5 bags. NOW I have to send it back for hopefully a refund for this overcharge. I feel this company needs to always show the order BEFORE it is finalized to avoid this in the future to other customers. I would not of placed the order if I had seen it ahead of time. I would made sure I deleted all this extra items. The way it was packaged, the brush order had to be the same 2 thick or 2 fine brushes, but, at no time did it say it say that, it just order all these extra items. This is a very upsetting company that asks in the beginning your credit card information, and make all these extra charge items. I am sending all this back Monday, & ask for a full refund.

Review: After looking on the site to possibly purchase the product, I changed my mind & left the site. I went so far as to put in my CC information before changing my mind. 3 days later, I received an email that my spicy shelf is being shipped & my credit card was charged $35.85. I called the customer service line & was told that as soon as you enter your CC information, the order is submitted. There is no "submit order" button on the website. I also did not receive an email confirming my order. If I did, I would have cancelled the order immediately. The customer service rep told me that When they receive the product, they will refund my account. They also told me that for $19.99, I can keep the product & they will refund the shipping cost. There was no indication & notification that I placed this order until it was shipped.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund to my account and the practice of this website changed. Review: I received my product, a hair extension, that is guaranteed to blend in with my own hair. The extension is a combination of 3 colors to aid in blending. The product was manufactured so that 3 inches on 1 side is light blond and 2 inches on the other side is dark blond. The middle few inches are blended correctly. It does not "blend". When I tried it on it looks like a bad hair dye job. The person I spoke to at the company offered me a different color 5 separate times and 5 times I had to repeat the color I ordered is fine however there was an error in the manner it was manufactured, it does not blend. He told me to just give it to someone else (he would reimburse me shipping only). I told him a sixth time it is not usable...for me or anyone. If I wanted a full refund, I would have to pay to ship it back and I would not be reimbursed original shipping or the shipping to return it. He also told me he could not guarantee it wouldn't happen again. I did not find his problem solving acceptable, he continued to apologize but that does not solve the issue. I also attempted to put a complaint on [redacted] as their brochures say they are on there, but they are not (only the UK branch is on there)...conveniently.

I have not received the second reimbursement they continue to state they have completed. They are not addressing the complaint, they continue to answer with the same response. I do not believe they are reading my responses because I HAVE checked, double checked and rechecked my credit card statements for Aug, Sept, Oct and now Nov. The reimbursement is not showing. If they made the reimbursement, they would have received a confirmation/reference number. I am asking they provide me with this number so I can follow up with my credit card company.

Review: I ordered two of the [redacted] screens from [redacted] in 2011. I planned on using one for my back door and keeping one for a replacement when the first one wore out. Just this week, I took the old mesh down and put up the new one right out of the box. It was four inches too short. The mesh is supposed to be 83 inches and the new one out of the box was 79 inches. It was clearly defective. I called [redacted] and told them of the problem and they refused to entertain my complaint. I even offered to send them pictures of the new box with all the hardware and a picture of the mesh hanging up, with a 4 inch gaping space at the bottom of the door. They said the warranty was for 30 days. I asked her if I was supposed to take both meshes out of the box and measure them, then use one, then put the other mesh away until I needed it. Who does that? It never occurred to me that the mesh could be so short in the second new box. This company just "stole" money from me by sending a defective product, and I think consumers need to know this.Desired Settlement: I would be happy to box up the new mesh and the hardware and send it back for them to do their own measurement to see that the mesh is 4 inches too short, and then I would like a replacement. Review: This website has what they call a "LIVE" order process. It does not allow a consumer to review the order prior to placing it. I entered the wrong amount and tried to go back and correct this error. However their system then charged my card for 6 (buy 3 get 3)of the same items when I only wanted to order 1 and get 1. I called immediately but the office was closed. I called the next day and the CSR informed me that the order had already been shipped and could not be cancelled. I then informed CSR that I would refuse delivery on the second order and would look for a credit. She then offered me a $5.00 discount to keep all the items I said "No" I would return them and wanted full credit. Review: If you check the site for [redacted] you will see that this item is for sale for 10.00 plus shipping and precessing fee @ 7.95 which equals to 17.95 and if you order another unit you get one free just pay the shipping and processing fee. Review: Cat's Meow of Wallingford, CT has a television ad for a cat toy. They give you a web site to order the toy. When you go there it is very deceptive. They are advertising buy one get one free for $19.99 plus shipping and handling. They do not give you a chance to review your transaction and when it comes up you have ordered not one set but two and I was billed for two sets at $71.78. They take your credit card number at the very beginning of the process and there is nothing you can do to stop things. I immeditately called the toll free number of the company (###-###-####) and got a customer service number (###-###-####). When I called the customer service no. I talked to a girl named [redacted]. She told me they could not look up my order for four hours. Since they would be closing in less than three hours I should call back the next day. She said it would not be a problem as it would not be shipped for four or five days. When I called the next morning I was told it was already shipped andI could not cancel the order. I asked to speak to the supervisor he reiterated the same thing. I told him that I had been lied to. He said he would cancel the $31.98 for the second set but I would still be billed$39.98 and that could be refunded if I returned the package at my cost.You will see there have been several such complaints on Ripoff Report.com. Review: The seller advertises their product as something that gives you "thick" hair with "volume." They also advertise that you can curl the hair. I called customer service and was told that the hair is not as easy to curl as you would think. The customer service rep even stated that you can hold the hair on the iron for up to 1.5 minutes and it should give you a curl. But, it does not. Also, the hair is very thin, not thick at all and Volume is NO part of it. Finally, the headband that is attached to the hair will not stay in place while exercising and stretches very quickly. There is no way to make it fit your head better or tighter. The product has ended up being a complete lie and they state that they will only refund your money if it does not blend. I am extremely upset by their false claims and demonstrations. And, looking harder at the advertisements on their website, you can even see that the extensions they show, especially rom Daily herself are much thicker than what you receive. What a terrible product full of false claims and untrue promises. Additionally, my order conformation page does not show an amount that matches the charge on my credit card. This is ridiculous.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back, including the shipping cost and cost for an extended warranty that will get me nowhere when the product does not even do what the company states and is not the quality that they present. Review: I placed an online order with [redacted] on Friday evening, June **, 2013. When I clicked on a "submit" button I had to click it 3 or 4 times before an "Order Confirmation" page appeared saying: "Thank You! Your order has been processed and will ship promptly!" Listed below were items on the order which I didn't intend order and the charges to my credit card. There was no method on the website to verify and edit the order before I placed it.I immediately called customer service and a live person told me the offices were closed and to call "after 9 a.m. the following day. I did just that, but when I called I got a recording saying the offices were closed until Monday morning (today).This morning about 8:15 I called customer service and spoke with an "[redacted]" and told her I wanted to cancel the entire order. She told me that the order had already been "prepared for shipping" and that "I can't stop it." She explained that I would receive the shipment on July 8. When it arrived, she said, if I accepted order she would take $12 off the total. I told her I wanted to cancel the entire order. So, she said I should refuse the order, send it back and that when it was received my credit card would be credited.When I told her that their customer service was "terrible" and that I planned to file a complaint she told me the call was being recorded. So, I asked who would listen to the recording and if there was someone available who had the authority to stop the shipment. She didn't answer my question, but repeated the instructions to refuse the order.I then commented that it would take nearly two weeks or more for my credit card to be credited with the charges...So, they were using my money for that period and that was unfair. P.S. The company's response failed to mention that it's "ordering page" is very misleading and deceptive. Here's why: (check this out on their website!). While it is easy to order the special "two for one" offer by simply clicking on the attendant box, there are at least two buttons labeled "submit". I thought I was submitting my order when I clicked on one the first time, but nothing happened. Clicking again led to a "thank you" page which listed items (and the total cost) I did not intend to order with the headline "Thank You for your order." Their was no where that I could edit the order before placing it....it had already been placed and my credit card charged. That is being deceptive. Just as important, when I immediately called their customer service to cancel the order, I was told to call later. So, early on the next business day I called and was told it was impossible to cancel the order because it was "being processed for shipment." Meaning I had no recourse but to refuse the order when it arrived at my home and hope for a promised refund. Instead, they offered me a $39.00 "discount" if I would accept the shipment. I declined.

The bottom line is that I have not yet received notice that my refund had been credited to my credit card....that means they kept my $$ for over a month obviously creating another revenue stream by earning interest on my funds. If they do this frequently with thousands of complainers, that amounts to a huge amount of revenue.

The website is both misleading and deceptive. Perhaps a complaint to the CT consumer advocate and/or the Federal Trade Commission will result in a much-needed change on their website.

Review: On Sat July **, 2013 I saw an advertisement on TV (late, late night or rather morning [redacted]) for the cats meow product and decided that my old cat may enjoy it. So I placed an order (I generally only shop online w/amazon, I trust them!). Then I got buy one ($19.99 and get one free, well OK, then I got add a feather to each item for added fun! (Now $29.99) Oh Boy! my cat's gonna really enjoy theses, from one end of the house to the other! The catch, you have to pay for shipping and handling for both items, they never disclosed how much the S&H would be just "Thank You!" Your order will ship immediately here your order. I never got the option to finalize this transaction with the final cost. I get a follow-up email w/bill of $45.80! Whooaa!That's Too Much! I tried to cancel to no avail. But I got a call Sunday July **, 2013 from the company asking If I would confirm my order. I told the person I'd like to cancel but to my surprise, he put the order in anyway. I finally reach the company on Monday to express my concern and was told the product was shipped and I'd have to write "refused" on package once received in order to get a refund. I followed through as told. But again, to my surprise, I only got a refund for of $29.99 and not the $45.80 I was charged!~!! Why should I pay for postage and handling when the order was bullied through!???!!!!!ORDER [redacted]Desired Settlement: A refund of $15.90 for shipping and handling since I clearly cancelled before item shipped.ORDER [redacted] Also, for the amount being charged for one light box (less than a pound) it should have shipped as Priority Mail.

Review: Ordered 1 pair of Zoomies binoculars and billed for 4. No way to edit or change order before being billed. They won't cancel order. Saw advertisement for wearable binoculars for $10/pair at [redacted] Went online to order - they requested billing and shipping information first and then went through the process to complete the order and several pop-up windows of additional offers appeared - free additional pair and other items - all of which I declined except an offer for a stronger/better version for an additional $10. I thought I was now ordering 1 pair of the stronger Zoomies for $20 plus $7.95 p&h. Then the order confirmation page came up showing an order for "approximately" $72.00. There was no way to change the order or see exactly why it was close to $50 more than I was expecting. The charge went through without an order confirmation option. I reached customer service and they said the order was for 4 pairs of Zoomies and that they had been shipped and the order could not be cancelled. I can return for refund of the binoculars but the $31.80 p&h charges are non-refundable and I have to pay the return postage charges.Desired Settlement: I would like to have been able to cancel or change the order before it was processed. I want a full and complete refund of the total amount charged of $77.54 plus the postage needed to return the products.

Review: When I ordered the brush it was advertised buy one get one free (2nd one of your choosing) I went to the website to order and I selected the two I would like. It promptly sent me to 6 prompts trying to upsell everything from products, additional brushes, expedited delivery etc. when I declined on each offer it immediately went to the order Number that it was already submitted. It immediately charged me for not only for two brushes but added 5.95 per brush which equaled 4 brushes in total. It didn't give the option it offered on tv of picking one of my choosing (which is what I thought I did) it sold me 2 separate brushes and then claimed it would send a second of the identical to the one I ordered(intentionally misleading I believe). Then when I immediately called to cancel the order the representative said we would need to give them 6 hours to get it in their system. I called back 6 hours later and then they said I would need to give them another 6 hours and to call back in the morning. It seems not giving you a chance to confirm the order before submission and then in today's age of technology to not have record in their system when they have already sent me 2 emails(which indicates to me I am in their system) is misleading at the very least if not completely dishonest. This is still not resolved.
