Rarely to insurance claims go even marginally well... This was different. It was easy, quick, and got handled in a manner that was great. Thanks for making it easy for me. One of the few times I would give higher than 5 stars.
This company is amazing! Fast, guilt-free repairs when life’s mishaps occur. I am a definite fan of SquareTrade and will ALWAYS purchase their protection plan from now on! They were in constant contact with me regarding the progress of the repair and their service was very fast!

Square Trade had my back when my expensive cell phone I bought online crapped out on me. The process of making the claim to when I received my full refund was quick and painless. I could not believe how fast I received the refund check in the mail.
Just be sure you keep all your purchase information on the item that is covered by Square Trade. It sure does help when making a claim.

When our 3 yr old tv developed a problem that could not be rectified, we were directed to the very knowledgeable and helpful people at Square Trade - they carried the warranty on the set. They were the first people to tell us they had seen the same problem with other sets by the same manufacturer. Within 10 minutes it was determined that all steps had been taken and replacing the tv was the sensible solution. We had the new set within a week!
I don't think they could possibly have done a better job!
It was the fastest claim I haven't ever seen. Everything fully explained. And I got my check in less than 5 days.
Pay a protection plan is protect you money.
Horrible product, do not buy. I bought the warranty coverage that comes up when you make an electronic purchase on ebay. It was a used Surface pro 4, typical one year coverage. After 10 months the internal battery failed, inflated, and broke the screen. I contacted squaretrade, went through their several level process to validate the claim. At the end the technical guy (final step of the process) apologized and said that since the failure resulted in physical damage he must deny the claim. The physical damage was a direct result of the battery failure, it was sitting on my desk when it happened, completely untouched and still operating normally until I shut it down to investigate. This coverage is a complete fraud, do not waste your money.
Great customer service and timely repair. I was amazed at how easy it actually was to get my laptop repaired and returned. With working from home, I was concerned it would take weeks but from the day I mailed it off to the day it arrived back at my home was about a week. Highly satisfied and will definitely add square trade to future purchases
Communication with Square trade was fairly simple. I phoned them and then followed up with email. Once I converted my uploads to the right format, the process was very simple. Square Trade made decisions quickly and I received a reimbursement check as promised when promised. I would definitely buy again.
My computer was repaired and returned to me in one week
I purchased a washer and dryer with a squaretrade warranty about 2-years ago. The washer started making a grinding noise so I tried to start the claim online. I was unable to complete the claim because in order to do so you have to be with the item to do so (I was at work). In the meantime, my dryer stopped working so I had to start a claim for both. I took the morning off to call in the claim. The person completing the claim intake took all the information (serial numbers and model numbers) for the machines along with all my information and asked that I email a copy of the proof of purchase, which I did and we set up a date and time for the repairs to be completed. After I did all that I headed in to work. Later in the day I notice in my email that there was an email from squaretrade stating that the claim could not be processed because they did not have a copy of my proof of purchase. This began my first level of frustration. I resent the the receipt.
Two days later I receive another email changing the day of my repair appointment, so I changed my schedule at work to accommodate this change. On the day of my scheduled appointment, the technician never showed. I called to see what happened and was told that my appointment was rescheduled to the next day. I told them that in no uncertain terms would I accept that. I would not be taking another day off work to wait for a repair person to come or not who knows. While I was on the line with the I received an email stating that the they were still trying to find a technician to complete my repairs. Why had I not been called when it was realized that the technician was not coming to complete my repairs.
It has be 2-days and 3 calls since my appointment was originally scheduled and I still do not have another appointment date. Each time I speak with someone they tell me I'll hear back in a day or two, I have lost a total of 1.5 days of work in the whole process. This has been the worse process that I have ever gone through.
I've purchased several Square Trade warrantees for appliances and electronics. In several years I had reason to use the service. Square Trade has always been easy to make a claim and are always very fair. The associates are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Square Trade.

My claim for over $400 item was handled very quickly and efficiently, on line, and I received continuous emails providing updates for each step. The total process took only two days and reimbursement was received in less than one week. Couldn't be more satisfied with this company and its service.
