DO NOT BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY from SquareTrade. Their repair/replacement promise is a joke, and they do not keep their timelines but rather hold your device hostage while they drag their feet to do anything, and fail to provide timely updates. Both Matt and Floyd were exceedingly unhelpful and did not resolve my questions when I contacted support. I have been without a functional device for over 14 days. 0 out of 5 stars is too high of a review.

A little over a year ago, I purchased a big screen "Smart Television" from a local retail store. It was a somewhat lofty price, but for a television of that size it was worth it. On check out, the gentleman at the store asked if I would like to purchase an "Extended Warranty". The added cost was minimal, so I thought about it for a moment and, due to the amount of electronics in today's "Smart Televisions", for the first time in my life I said "Yes" to an extended warranty. And I am so happy I did.

Two weeks after the normal warranty expired (which is generally 1 year), the television just up and quit while I was watching it. I retrieved the receipt and the "Extended Warranty Brochure" from my records. I saw the name "SquareTrade" (the company used by Allstate to handle claims such as this) and called the number listed. What transpired over the next 10-15 minutes was the best Customer Service experience that I have ever received from a company. The well spoken and knowledgeable agent had me run thru some last ditch efforts to breathe life back into my dead television. After these efforts proved fruitless, she told me that the main logic board at its heart had failed and that this failure was covered by the extended warranty. She further advised that a check would be mailed the following day and that I would receive it within 3-5 working days and on day 4 I received the check.

SquareTrade has made a believer out of me when it comes to purchasing extended warranties on high dollar electronics. The company should be proud of their Customer Service Agents because they set themselves apart from the rest.

Professional, courteous and knowledgeable assistance when you need it most. It was obvious from the beginning that there is a culture of customer satisfaction at Square Trade. They honored my warranty to my ultimate satisfaction and it was pleasure dealing with their representatives. I highly recommend covering your major purchases with Square Trade!

Good service! After 3+ years the coffeepot gave up the ghost. It took a little doing, but Square Trade came through with a brand new coffeepot. Worth the money!

I love how simple it was to file a claim and when I had a problem, the rep was calm, knowledgeable, and kind! She was able to resolve my issue in under 2 minutes. Oh and I didn't have to wait long for a rep to take my call!!!

Squaretrade refused to honor the extended warranty by claiming without clarification or qualification that the appliance failure was due to 'accidental damage'. The oven in fact failed during normal use. When called, their automatic answering line repeatedly hung up. I was never able to talk to a representative.

I purchased a warranty with a computer from Walmart. However, square trade is giving me a run around instead of fixing or replacing the laptop.

Excellent customer service. They made my claim proceed quickly and got my TV repaired. It is now like new and I want to thank everyone involved with this process.

Easy claim filing, just be sure to keep all your paperwork together in case you have to file a claim. That would mean print out your policy that is emailed to
you, print out your receipt for the item from Amazon or whatever with the
store name and receipt date, and you need the serial number of your
item. I would write it down off the box or item right onto the bottom of the
receipt and this will go smoothly for you.

Peocess was on line and on time decision was made up to the satisfaction. Also clain $$ was received on time.

The process of returning an item has been very easy.
