We purchased a Mattress and wanted to have an official document outlining the warranty that accompanied the purchaseWe were never given the warranty
We contacted the *** *** location and were forced to buy a $mattress cover and were told that if we did not have this mattress cover the bed would not be warrantiedWe visited the store to get the warranty in writing and were told the receipt was the warrantyHowever the verbiage of the receipt is generic and not related to the manufacture of the mattressWe asked for them to take back the mattress cover since we were bullied into purchasing this cover and that we were told that the manufacture holds the warrantyWe tried to get them to help us make contact with the manufacture of the mattress to get the warranty and we were just handed a pamphlet about the mattress and a possible warrantyHowever, this handout had not contact information or an area that had a place to put the serial number or customer information on it so

Poor Customer ServiceThiefsWas interested in recliners and a love seatThey only had one recliner and said they should have the other one in daysOrder was placed on June 2016, today is July and I have not merchandise.They charged my credit card on June 5th so I have been paying for furniture I never receivedI called the store numerious times for an update on the 2nd reclinerI was advised each time it would be in next week Went to the store today for a full refund and they out right refused to credit back the chargeTold me I was not entitled to a refund So I called the credit card company right from the store and now I am disputing the charge The sales person was RUDE and a *** When I asked him his name, he said to me, "Who are you, I dont know you from Adam" and you are no longer welcome in the storeHe said his name was Ryan but his name tag said Mijka

I laid away a couch & two recliners at american freight furniture in newport news vaI was told by the sales lady it would stay there until payed offI went to pay it off Feb & they did not have my set any longerThey sold itI was then told that it was discontinued & another set would have to be made & orderedI was guaranteed it could take up to weeks but no longerIt is now March & I still do not have my living room suite or my money I paid which was $I have not received the 1st call from them what so everI called so many times and get the same answer no refunds & there waiting on it to be shipped

• I contacted *** *** which had an advertisement in the American Freight store for his delivery and set up businessHe is a uninsured subcontractor for American Freight - wasn't aware of this until I spoke with his insurance agent to file a claim;
• He was supposed to be at my apartment to deliver and setup all furniture between & PM
• He then called me @ and told me he was behind and would give me $off my delivery fee
• He then called me back @ 5:and told me he’d give me $and that that was the best he could do and that would be the most his “superior” would offerI told him he had no superior, this is his businessHe then told me he’d be at my home by 6:

• The table I purchased for $442:

The sign in the store said returns are given in daysWhen I questioned him about the days he responded by saying "Oh that is for layaways " The sign did not say Layaway at allI did take a picture of the signI asked him for my refund again he refused to return my money and he forced me take the store creditHe also did not even offer to give us additional screwsThe dresser was defective and he offered no assistant in satisfying my problem

When going into the store on Erie Blvd we asked to see the sofa!s advertised on line starting at $ We were told that they do not carry theseThat the advertising online is only for bigger cities like New York cityI feel that that is advertisingWe drove minutes to come to the storeThere are no sets of couches and loveseats for $

I purchased a mattress set February and after a few days I noticed it slumps in the middle and sticks out on the sideI called and was told to send pictures, which I didEach time I call someone says they will call back, but no one does

I purchased a set of couches from their store in Sanford, FLThe long couch had a broken frameIt is almost ripping through the back of the couchWhen I contacted the Sanford store, they told me I would have to wait at least weeks for the corporate office to contact themI was also told that I would have to pay the delivery feeI waited over weeksAfter many calls, I was told that they finally heard from the corporate office They said it was ok to replace my couchAll of this has been going on since November....and STILL NO COUCH!! I contacted the corporate office to tell them how I did not agree with having to pay a delivery feeThe manager of the Sanford store called meAfter much discussion, he agreed that I would not have to pay a delivery feeWeeks later, I am STILL waiting for the new couch to be delivered

I personally had an indecent with the store managerHis phone etiquette was VERY rudeI called to inquire about my delivery since I was told someone would call me with a time windowI know the store closed at 5pm and it was 2:30pm with still no callWhen speaking with CAL (Store manager) I was told my items were not even on the list to be delivery that day (contrary to what I was told the day before)I told him how this was incorrect and he proceeded to say how he would correct itTwo more hours go by and I start to get a little worried because I know from being in the store the previous day I was told that they stop deliveries at a certain timeSo now it's 4:30pm (store closes at 5pm on Sundays) I call the store and ask for the associate who helped me (named Blaye) since the Manager Cal was so rude, of course Cal picks up, and says he's not here then proceed to just hang upSo then I get pissed, I then asked my boyfriend to call (since I am a female and I thought it would have been a better exchange man to man) and Cal picks up againMy boyfriend says he wants to check on a delivery, Cal asked for the name, once mine is given Cal goes, oooooh and then hangs upMy boyfriend calls two more times for the phone to be picked up and hung up once more and then no answerAt this point it's 4:45pm and I have no idea what's going on with my purchaseI hop in my car and head to the storeOnce I walk in I see two gentlemen at the counter and I walk up and ask is either of you name Cal, Cal looks at me and says meI then proceed to ask him why was his phone etiquette so rude and he immediately starts to go off saying how he has so many customers (mind you there is only two people in the store) and how no customer is better then the otherI said I never said I was better and he is still going off saying he doesn't have time for this and is now repeating the question "do you want a refund"In this process my boyfriend asked to be on the phone (on speaker) since this is a male-female exchange and also ask Cal why did he hang up on himCal is still yelling and states that they are having phone problem (points to the back) and says they are working on it now (I look in the back and there is no one there)In the mist of the argument I am still asking as the manager how he could be so rude and how he could argue with a customer, he never gave me an answer he just kept saying "do you wanta refund"Never in my life have I had such HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer serviceThis man who calls himself a manager and no regard for human to human respect and defiantly doesn't deserve the position he is inI should have know better because after reading the reviews for this store I should have stayed awayI felt so uncomfortable when speaking with him, he was so aggressive and at times I even felt scaredThis is the worst store I have EVER had and I plan to NEVER go back or do any business with American Freight

I purchased the Bingo Brown loveseat and sofa combo on 2/04/and on 2/10/one of the main wooden support bars is beginning to push through the back of the couchOn 2/10/I called the store and asked to speak with someone that can help me, told them about the issueHe then said to take some pictures of it and send them to the store's email at ***@americanfreight.us
I did this as soon as I hung up the phone and did not hear a responseafter waiting a week I called the store again and asked what was going on with the complaintThe same person I talked to before answered the call and said he had not herd back from the factory about weather they were going to issue a replacement or not, but they should be calling tomorrowthat was weeks ago
My receipt says all sales are final but it also says there is a limited warranty from the manufacturer, and the person I talked to said it was days

Great prices overallBut the catch is if you finance, after 101days they charge you an additional $Most people that finance might not be able to afford these prices .If you buy, buy outright

American Freight is going to go fourth to give this customer her furniture. Because it has been more than a year this customer will not be refunded but will be able to receive her furniture or a store credit or to reselect to other furniture.
