I asked the salesman about the refund policy before I purchase my items because I was going out of town the next dayThe salesman told me as long as I had my receipt there would be no problemWell a few weeks later I found out that my job was moving me to CANADA so I asked for a refund and was told I had to wait weeks to receive my refund by mailwhich at the time was NO problem at the time until I notice my time was getting close to me moving and the entire time NO CALLS NO NOTHING from this companyI almost lost my job waiting on a refund that I am still waiting onThis company is very misleading when it comes to getting a refund and I think there policy needs to be changed

In August we purchased a recliner for our year old son for his birthdayIn less than three months the chair fell apart to the point it was garbageWe had purchased a yr Warranty, but even if we had not, I was determined that they should replace the recliner since it didn't even last three monthsIt was cheaply made! Purchased a sectional through their branch in Clarksville TennesseeWhile purchasing the couch large advertising signs stating "same day delivery" The employee stated at time of purchase that, "our delivery company is extremely busy and we are only open hours todayIs it alright if it's delivered tomorrow on 3/7/16?" I stated that this was fine Meanwhile an employee was loudly swearing and complaining that he was unable to clock in, while there was approximately other customers in line and being helpedMonday at 6:00pm came and we had not heard anything from the companyI called American Freight and was immediately put on hold for 30min after an employee stated he would find out where my couch wasWhen the employee answered, he did not even remember he had someone on hold and stated "oh yeah uh whats the phone number on the account?" He then informed me that I would not be receiving my couch that dayI asked to speak with a managerShe stated that they had increased volume

I bought a queen size mattress at this business in SeptemberBy October I had issues with the mattress sagging in the middleI contacted American Freight because I was told there is a year warranty on the product I boughtI took the required picture they asked me to and emailed to the address they gave meThey told me it would take 6-weeks to hear back from the warranty companyI have yet to hear anything from anybody on this matter and it is now December 10thI have contacted American Freight on several different occasions and inquired about my warranty status only to be told that they would check on it with the warranty company and they would give me a call either that night or first thing in the morningI have yet to receive a return call and am getting very frustrated by the lack of response and the further decline of the product I was sold

I purchased a box spring for my son on December 21, from American Freight, Front Street Vestal, NY At no time did any salesperson say the box spring could not be taken out of the plastic covering in order to be returned They also did not say anything to my son when he picked it up My son got it home, unwrapped it and it was too high for the bed He took it off the bed and returned it to the plastic covering Now American Freight is refusing to exchange the box spring as it was taken out of the plastic We were never told not to remove the plastic to try it on the bed I have never had any issue with any other store in the area such as Raymour and Flannigan or Metro Mattress They come and replace whatever needs to be replaced with any of my bedding

Guarantee or Warranty Issues AND Customer Service Issues
On 1/18/16, we purchased a sofa from American Freight The initial sofa we purchased was too big for our home It was brought back to the store and store credit was given We selected a new couch (Mickey Pweter pcsectional) It was delivered to our home on 1/19/ After days of having the couch in our home, we noticed a loose piece of material on the inside right arm It was making a popping sound every time it was touched I made a video documentation of the problem, contacted American Freight on Friday, 1/22/ There is a year Manufacture Warranty on the sofaWe were told to bring the couch back to the store for inspection On Saturday, 1/23/16, we delivered the couch back to American Freight in Burnsville, MN They were very uncooperative Store personnel were wondering why we brought the couch back They weren't going to let us unload the sofa to see the defect They didn't have a sofa in stock, so

she denied the delivery because said it wasn't the right one...delivery checked before leaving store showed correct mattressPlease have customer call the store for a re-delivery....plus.....please tell the customer that the king mattress are back in stock
