AHS has given me the run around on my HVAC repair for over a month The Technician from the contract AHS select came in within a week (May 2016) of the callDuring the diagnose we informed him that he problem was the compressorHe informed us that the unit was still under warranty that AHS should not have any problem repair the unit On the of June AHS representative call us and informed that the Authorizations was approved and we should not have any problem ordering the compressor from the manufacture because the unit was under warranty As of the June, the compressor still has not arrived to the contactor office, when you call the excuse is that the part was order from Texas and it takes time to arrive We have been without air-condition for weeks, we have also informed them that we have a disable person that has the need for cool air And we still waiting for the repaired, it has been weeks with no luck and when we call AHS we are in an indefinite hold patternInstead handing me off to inept agents over a month I want my air condition fixed as soon as possible and AHS at least pay for 50% of the cost of the replacement Freon for the wait and inconvenience we have been in the past month

I put in a service requests for my a\c and ceiling fan still waiting after hot humid days here in Texasvery dissatisfied with only apologizes AHS states if they can't fix they will replace I it that's not true they claim $that's Not true as wellI have spoken with several relentless unbelievable representative with different answersTo date 5/27/still with no air conditioning !!!! saddest part I on SS income yes senior citizen with medical issues

It has been over days without a refrigerator AHS and their contractor claim the part they ordered is missing Whenever I call to speak to someone at AHS, they tell me someone will get back to me They never do Nor do they give out a contact phone number to at least have one person to deal with So, I start from scratch EVERY DAY It's like groundhog day in the refrigerator repair world

I am a new customer of American Home Shield How ridiculous is this company I tried several times to use their website, and it takes forever for it to "load" anything Tried again today Nothing loadsCalled customer service On hold for minutes Then, basically was told they can't do anything about the website Said to go to "contact us" and chat I did that, and the wait time was minutes or more Asked to speak to IT department He didn't know how to help me

Property Management company writes: Just wanted to let you know that we have been round and round in circles with American Home Shield again. Almost every time we call them, the contractors do not show up for the appointment. It has taken 3 weeks for your tenant to get his stove fixed.They ordered a part, had it delivered to their home, and just marked the job fixed and completed, so we had to schedule AGAIN 5 days later for an appointment. (They are supposedly coming out today). The pipe under the sink broke, so they had to send a plumber for that (4 days later who was 3 hours late and was extremely rude). And now, the OTHER stove is broken, and the heat is not working. It is in the 30s and 40s here at night and in the mornings, and it is Thanksgiving weekend. The tenant is extremely dissatisfied with the services they are receiving. We waited on hold for 45 minutes to complain in which we were hung up on. Just wanted to make you aware of the situation, it seems like it is always something. With every tenant, there is a complaint with the heating and cooling system. All of which are repaired by American Home Shield. I will not be placed on hold with this company any longer as we do have other properties to tend to. I have Karen calling them today to schedule the heating appointment, because the tenant can not be without working heat. A complaint needs to be filed. I feel that they are too large of a company, and do not actually value their services as they have too many clients and can just move on to the next. When things are supposed to be fixed they are often times not fixed, and it takes way too long to get an appointment scheduled, or it is repeated no shows. Please feel free to forward my email to whomever you need to for the complaint.

The absolutely worse I beg of you, PLEASE do not get American Home Shield I am 1/months pregnant, in Texas, in degree weather and it has been THREE WEEKS without an air conditioner American Home Shield has gone back and forth on whether they wanted to repair our AC unit or buy us a new one Because of this it has set us back THREE WEEKS We finally got the part in today and guess whatIT'S BROKEN and will take another 6-days to get another one Called and talked to customer service rep, Candace, who proceeded to tell me if I didn't take a more 'professional' tone she would hang up on me We are now proceeding to pay out of pocket so this has truly been the worst experience I could have ever imagined

This company has been a nightmare to deal with I don't know how they can continue to take money for home warranties and not perform I have been trying to get an oven repaired for two months to no avail Calls are not returned I also called last fall for a furnace heat issue and the call was returned weeks later after I had to call a contractor in order to have heat I am not sue how Bob G [redacted] gets paid a salary of $1.1M with other stock options that bring his comp package to $2.2M and can sleep at night This company needs to be fully investigated

American Home Shield is the WORST SERVICEThey affiliate with the worst contractors in the area who will keep you waiting all day, when you have to take time off workTheir contractors are HIGHLY INCOMPETENTI HAD A FREON LEAK IN MY HOUSE FOR WEEKS DUE TO THE CONTRACTOR NOT EVEN ENTERING MY HOME THE FIRST TWO VISITSAT THE THIRD VISIT, THEY Finally figured out IT WAS AN ENTENSIVE FREON LEAK IN THE ATTICI'VE BEEN SUFFERING FROM SYMTOMS OF FREON LEAK THE ENTIRE PERIODTHIS IS GOING ON FOR OVER A MONTH IN 100+ degree weather, AND STILL NOT RESOLVED This is just one story, not to mention the other encounters with them for water heater, refrigerator etc PLEASE PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL BEFORE YOU GET AMERICAN HOME SHIELDYOU WILL DEFINITELY BE WASTING YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!!!

Bad Customer Service! The representative, Ashala, badge # [redacted] who answered the phone but did not assist me at all, had no customer service skills She was rude and had no telephone etiquette No solution to my issue was offered I asked to speak with a manager and is currently on hold and have been on hold for hour trying to speak with someone The representative has not come back on the phone to say anything to me I'm just listening to music This is ridiculous I will be cancelling my service Ashala just came back on and said she is still waiting for someone to speak to me I told her I've been waiting for an hour and can't wait no longer that I would call back later I have been a loyal customer for years and this is the treatment that is being shown I will no longer give my money to this company

I have been a customer of AHS since In the beginning they were legitimate, but have slipped into a category of gross negligence They are slow to respond to claims, days turn to weeks and sometime months They put you on hold for 20-minutes a phone call They often send incompetent service people who misdiagnose problems that turn into hazardous disasters months later My dryer had a timer replaced and weeks later it needed a heating element THis is after a technician had investigated the dryer on occasions When the earliest appointment to replace the heating element was another weeks, I watched a few [redacted] videos and tackled it myselfOn opening the panel, I immediately saw the primary issue, the exhaust pipe within the unit had disconnectedThere was so much lint inside the dryer, it could have easily started a fire How is it a technician overlooked that simple but VERY serious problem, not once but twice I am canceling AHS immediately before their lack of competence burns down my house

Horrendous serviceUnbelievable problems with a simple dishwasher repairI missed tons of work and they sent incompetent worker after incompetent workerIt eventually had to be replacedThen trying to cancel was a nightmareThis outfit is nothing short of a criminal enterpriseDO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM!!!

I signed up with American Home Shield based on assurance they gave me, that they only replace equipment with new equivalent equipment and not refurbished ones They also assured me they will give me a retail market value for the replacement and I can apply that toward an upgrade They also assured me they only work with A rated companies for serviceWell, my pool motor gave out I put in a service call and made an appointment for the repair They sent someone from [redacted] and the person told me they only deal with refurbished product and not new I tried to contact ASH and I cannot tell you how rude and unhelpful they were I asked for a call from a supervisor they assured me that they will call me but no one called finally I got a call from the options department to tell me they will give me $credit for the Pool Motor I have which had a replacement cost of about $ I had no choice but to ask [redacted] to repair or replace my motor as they would This has been a week and it is not done yet I am still waiting to hear from a supervisor from ASH This has been the worse experience I have had dealing with an insurance company

It has taken me over a month to get my dishwasher fixed - still broken Multiple calls, conversations, and AHS refuses to be helpful They continue to use bad vendors like [redacted] who are horrible, and provide horrible service They have lost my business - and I will spread the word -

I purchased a warranty on 9/15, my burner starting leaking water on Christmas Eve, I called AHS five times and could not reach a repI filed a claim online and it took AHS SEVEN DAYS to assign a plumberBy then, I'd had my regular plumbing company fix the leakWhen I complained about the terrible service, my reimbursement request was denied twiceI am cancelling my policy and moving to T [redacted] P [redacted] Home Warranty

Someone can you please investigate this company: American Home Shield At first it seems like it gives you hope; especially as a single parent with a disabled daughterThis is nuts that I have to pay for something and still has to call people that can really help me outside of this company warranty I hope something can be done ASAP Just find out if they are able to back up the contract or not If so, do so;; if not, just do not charge anything and give people their money back Otherwise, please help us cancel as I have been on the line at least minutes or more and no one has come to the phone yet I am right no on hold and need to just cancel this program HELP ME please to get out of this I hope they do not take any more monthly payments for my automatic payments They have been doing so since April - that's months; and now August is right around the corner I can tell you more if you need me to I am [redacted] Thanks!

This has been the worst repair experience I have ever had with a companyIt appears that once AHR got their dollars from our contract that they didn't care if the repair was done or notThey have rescheduled times and it appears the repair man is not going to show up today eitherHe called hours ago and said he was on his wayAfter 1/hours, I called him and he said he was on his way to RoswellMy home is in LawrncevilleAfter trying to get someone to speak to me about the problem for the last hour, I have resorted to writing thisI really don't expect to get any positive results from this either, at this point

Washing machine problemsAhs sets up service with s [redacted] repair Took the day off work to meet repairman, never showedCalled the number and I got someone out of country, phillipines Could not contact person who was suppose to come by Ahs sets up another repair, 2nd day off work to meet repair man He comes by and basically rebuilds washing machineA week later it returns and a week later it's broke againCalled ahs, take another day off work to meet repairmanRecommends replacing washing machineTwo days later receive email from ahs for a 2nd opinion weeks later I finally am able to contact the 2nd opinion companyTake another day off work to meet them and they recommend replacement days later I still haven't heard from ahsCall them and they say call a different number after 9am on MondayCall the number and voice system says due to high volume of calls I get to wait on phone for greater than minutes Terrible customer service I could have replaced the washing machine and the dryer for the time I took off work to attend to all these calls Not to mention weeks without a washing machine with a family of Very similar issues with ac replacement and ahs refused to replace ac system because it waston outside unit with a ton inside unit that has been at this house for 20+ y [redacted] but they say it was undersized and that's why it went out I call bs It lasted y*** Total out of pocket expense for the ac replacement

Lack of service- months and going for repair of my wall-unit air conditioner Poor customer service- condescending associate Excessive wait times with many disconnects (multiple hour holds times with hangups after "system error") Lack of transparency in the process- refusal to tell me what my "replacement" part was, which led to the wrong item (a central air unit compressor) being ordered No communication from AHS on timing and processes Being blocked from social media when posting a negative experience Overall extremely negative experience, one that has driven me literally to tears

Their contractors mis-diagnosed an issue, and the coverage was denied as a resultWe tried to get AHS to send a second opinion, but that was also deniedWe paid out of pocket for a simple shower repair that should be covered under contract, and took us weeks to get fixed because AHS bureaucratic processes

AHS us great until you need them Its impossible to get a customer service rep wait time will typically run from mins to an hour then you are disconnected this company on no level close to an A- You told wait time is 5mins....never the case you get routed back in call que, you hear phone picked up several times and out back downDo not patronize this business just go elsewhere I will NOT be renewing my contract
