This customer upgraded on January 30, 2017. The phone was not properly activated, and the customer was charged for delayed activation on March 31st.  C Spire credited the account for the delayed activation charge and the DPP  (Device Payment Plan) was added to the account when the order...

was completed properly. After checking the account, we noticed that the customer actually upgraded nearly a week after the promo ended. The DPP has to remain on the line because if the customer chooses to leave C Spire or upgrade early, they will be responsible for the remaining balance.

Mr. [redacted] purchased his phone in June of 2015.  Therefore, it is still under warranty.  C Spire has attempted to assist Mr. [redacted] via email.  In order to fully troubleshoot his phone, we would need to see it in one of our stores.  Mr. [redacted] could go to C Spire's web site...

and complete a warranty claim under Manage My Account.  We will be glad to handle this process for him.  If there is any way he can get access to another phone or get into a store, we will be glad to assist him.

I am rejecting this response because: I have added screenshots of the rebuttal email I sent to Ms.  Clopton on Saturday. I do not accept their response.

The rebate card was issued on 1/3/2017 and I show where it was activated by the customer on 1/19/2017.

Mr. [redacted] used the device substantially during the 8 months it has been active.  Given that this is well over the 30 day period, we feel that the offer to waive the remaining amount due on the financing plan is more than fair.  The existing balance of $187.09 will still be due.

Ms. [redacted]'s payment was received and posted on December 21st.  The late fee has been charged well before this time.  On December 29th, this payment was returned to C Spire for non-sufficient funds.  Therefore, there will be no refund of late fees.  Ms. [redacted]'s account is past due...

The response by the business stated that the amount at issue would be credited back to my account. I no longer have an account with Cspire and was wondering how the money referenced being credited back to my account would be handled. If that will be taken care of by the Cspire representatives that will contact me that will be fine. That just wasn't clear in the response by the business and I didn't know how that they could credit an account that was no longer a valid account with a zero balance. If all of this is handled then the resolution reached is satisfactory. I look to work with Cspire to have this issue resolved shortly.

When Mr. [redacted] purchased his phone in October of 2015, he purchased Apple Care +.  This is an Apple product that protects a customer against damage that is not covered under the normal manufacturer's warranty.  The product allows a customer to get a replacement 2 times in the 2 year term...

of the product.  There is a processing fee of $79.  When this issue was processed, there was a repair charge levied instead of the $79 processing charge.  C Spire will issue a $50 credit to the account due to this charge.  Mr. [redacted] will still be responsible for the $79 plus taxes.

Based on C Spire's investigation, there was no fraud.  This customer was present in the store when the phone she is disputing was picked up.  The police report she filed was in a different location.  C Spire will not be making any adjustments based on the evidence we have at this...

A substantial credit was placed on Ms. [redacted]'s account today.  This matter should be resolved.

The customer needs to return the cell phone booster back to C Spire if they do not want it.

All boxes are supplied with a UPS label so that these can be tracked.  If we can get the tracking number, we will be glad to find out where the devices are.

I am rejecting this response because:I am not satisfied with this decision because it is unfair this company is about making money not treating there customers with respect, I have been lied to, I'm not satisfied because I have paid this company since 2009 and look at what I get, you made the promise not me.

Ms. [redacted]'s phone is on an account that is not in her name.  Also, the account has a large past due balance.  The phone will not be unlocked until the account is brought current.

C Spire will be glad to update Ms. [redacted]' plan.  Her account is currently past due and this needs to be cleared in order for us to make the change.  We will work with her to correct this.

C Spire has contacted this customer and completed the porting process.  C Spire has also agreed to honor the promotional offer for the customer and we have also issued a $50 credit to her account for the issue.
