Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

If the customer received the rebate form at the time of purchase , they need to submit it and the Rebate company will accept it and respond accordingly.
We apologize if Mr. [redacted] was not fully informed regarding the possible charges. Our normal process is for customers to sign agreeing to this. C Spire is authorized to inspect devices according to the manufacturer's specifications regarding whether or not it warrantable. This is why this phone was never returned to the manufacturer. Furthermore, the manufacturer cannot determine if the phone would or would not have been covered without inspecting this. The problems that Mr. [redacted] reports on his replacement phone would not be the result of his complaint.Given the fact that Mr. [redacted] is a long time customer of C Spire, we have been authorized to grant the remainder of the credit. We have credited him another amount of $64.50. We hope this resolves the issue.

I am rejecting this response because: we are still having...
this issues and I've been in contact with CSpire for way to long, services have not improved as I stated on yesterday. There is no way I should have to use my phone on wifi, there is no reason for me to have to call this company every day about dropped calls when they claim there is a tower a mile down the road from my home and less than a mile from my husband's job. If I go anywhere else like Mississippi, I go to LTE and it works a little better but not much. I'm tired of going back and forth with this company that I have been with for over 11 years and services have been on a decline for the last couple of years! So yes I'm tired and yes I'm ready to get away from them because we pay entirely too much money for 6 phones to have them not work as they should!

Mr. [redacted]: I am so sorry you had the unexpected and unpleasant surprise of a very high bill after your son purchased a lot of high speed data passes. As a parent myself, I can see how things like this can happen. The speed passes are a new offering and we do not yet have parental...
controls available. Due to this, we are crediting off the entire amount as it was evident that your son's behavior changed after you became aware of the situation. Please know we appreciate your business and we are working to improve our controls around this process. In the meantime, please know these are not offered until 50GB of data in one month have been used. You can monitor your son's data usage via the my cspire app and limit his phone access to prevent him from exceeding the 50GB data treatment limit. Thank you for your patience as we reviewed this issue and for your continued service with C Spire.
In November of 2015, Mr. [redacted] purchased a new phone at a substantial discount and agreed to keep it active for 2 years. We worked with him in attempting to provide options to replace his phone. However, since it was damaged, it was not covered under warranty. He has since disconnected...
his line. He has been charged $210 for an early termination fee due to the original discount. If he can return the phone, in good condition, we will waive that fee. The phone would have to be without damage.
This customer uses over 20 GB of data every month. C Spire will not be refunding any money nor releasing this customer from their contracts. If this customer wishes to port out their numbers to another carrier, they will be responsible for the Early Termination Fees.
Mr. [redacted] purchased his Galaxy 5 on a device payment plan. This is financing of a device over a period of time with no interest. In order to upgrade early from a device payment plan and not pay out the remainder owed, our customers can trade in the device they financed. If that...
device has been replaced under warranty, then the device that was replaced can be traded. If Mr. [redacted] will trade in the Galaxy 5 that we gave him as a warranty device, we will not bill him for the remainder of the device payment plan.
C Spire has issued a $50 credit to Ms. [redacted]'s bill and hopes this will resolve the matter.

I am rejecting this response because:Although they state they will...
change my plan, that does not change the fact that I should have had his plan back in November. That's 2 extra GB Of data each month that I didn't have and I had to pay overages for.

C Spire has credited this entire amount to Mr. [redacted]'s bill. We should have this resolved. C Spire does not report current accounts to the credit bureau.
C Spire does not show this device as being returned. Furthermore, this customer had a past due/ unpaid amount of $106.60 from their April, 2016 bill and the Early Termination Fee amount of $150.00 due to this customer porting out their number to AT&T in May, 2016. This customer is...
still responsible for the above amounts.

I am rejecting this response because: tethering was allowed, if not, there would have been a block initially this was enacted after I began service. Many CSpire customers take issue with this and consider it holding their data ransom. Even if I were to not be charged to termination of service, that would fall very short of the thousands of dollars I have paid throughout six years for sub par service. That includes incompetent customer care over the phone that could not carry out simple requests that resulted in costing me more money, not to mention time, to rectify issues.

I am rejecting this response because: Ther terms of the iPad was not fully disclosed. I was unaware that the iPad would be considered a 2nd line. I was unaware of the account being closed after contacting cspire for another issue. The representative then informed us that we wouldn't see the iPad on our current login or bill as it was a 2nd account. The matter was escalated but never resolved. I understand that this was the only complaint answered. The initial reason for the complaints was due to the service issues in which cspire recommended the indoor cell tower after it was disclosed that an outside party was being used for data purposes. I was informed that I use that party's wifi given that cspire service was not working due to the area. Over the years we have continued to call regarding service issues to which most of the responses have been to get a new phone given that the phones were not meant to have a life span more than 2 years. Cspire should provide clear answers to all questions in tr complaint. We are aware of the iPad charges but that was only after months of nonpaymen due to misleading information. Please provide an answer to all concerns regarding the lack of service at our home location along, the resolution agree upon for the iPad along with the reason for suggesting hat we use a 3rd party service to assist with cspire's service
