On May 18, I filed a complaint with Revdex.com to help me resolve an issue regarding the blinds and cornices I purchased from Day BlindsMy complaint ID [redacted] I logged onto your website to see the status of my issue and it was closed without my knowledgeMy issue has not been resolvedThere are still cornices (toppers) that I purchased that have not been placed in my homeThe contractor came out to my home on July 1, and installed one of the three cornicesThe other was not installed because the contractor did not have the correct mounting bracketsHe told me to call [redacted] (person who sets up the installation appointments) to have him come back out and complete the installI left her a message on July 7, at 4:PM but after days and not hearing back from her I contacted by email and left a message for [redacted] which was on July 9, I received a reply back from their Post Installation Dept stating they [redacted] was checking on the statusAs of today I still do not have a resolutionI paid for these cornices and I deserve to have them installed in my homePlease help me get these last cornices installed in my home so I can put my house on the market as I am in the process of selling itThank you, [redacted] ***Desired Outcome:? For order invoice? [redacted] At time of sale, time of measure and time of installation it has been noted that this application of shutters can not have a decorative fascia - "valance" due to limitations of the window itselfThis order was signed off on by the customer without a valance or fascia and, could one be provided Day Blinds would be willing to work with the customer or provide that valance? A copy of the original signed invoice without valance can be provided upon request

They charged a fee for expedited processing and completion of the order and then simply have not fulfilled on their contractual obligation.? They noted that the remaining payment of 49% would be collected with the installation of the product.? This DID NOT HAPPEN IN MY CASE.? Reordered product was delivered 6/17/One line on the reorder came in the incorrect color, however all product fit the windowsSupervisor [redacted] called this morning and spoke with the customer and we will be replacing the incorrectly colored shade shortly

The customer service and installation department have been in contact with Ms [redacted] and are urgently seeking a resolution for this installationAll window coverings have been installed with the exception of the decorative cornicesWe are in the process of determining a solution to this installation delay

Product has been installed is within standard operating parameters for all roller shades, industry wideWith that in mind, customer has been offered and accepted a re-selection of a new product that will better fit the needs for privacy with a full credit to be applied from the original paymentAn appointment has been made for 10/26/to choose new product

The 49% balance is charged automatically at the time original installation is scheduled, not completed and this is stated in the contractThe shades that were unable to be installed have been reordered however there is a back order for the material of those shades, current estimated ship date is 11/10/Any compensation will be distributed after a successful installation has been completed as a way of ensuring that all issues are completed to the customers satisfaction

Installer on-site got into dispute with the installer remote about who/when the blinds would be installed? Installer left the customer's home with material without notification or resolution? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] no, I do not want or need the blinds now....I had out of town guests coming in and needed it when I ordered it....I do not want or need it now....I doubt if they have my signature...as I do not see it on my copy of the invoice....we have gone over all of this with day blinds and still believe I do not have to pay for something that was not installed per agreement...I will be glad to post all this to face book or contact a TV station that talks about consumer problems and taking advantage of the elderly.I want them to credit my [redacted] card of the amount of the blinds not delivered or installed.thank you [redacted]

It was determined that the shutters ordered under invoice [redacted] could have been installed as ordered, but the customer was not happy with the finished look, and only shutter was installedThe trim that was cracked on the first window can be repaired, and would have been repaired if the customer decided to complete the full installationThe issue reported was that the customer was not happy with the way the hinges looked on the shutters designed to be installed inside the window frameA new style of shutter was suggested to the customer utilizing a larger frame and outside mount installationAs this was an issue of preference, and the shutters were manufactured as authorized by the customer, Day Blinds was not obligated to cover the cost of the new order, but agreed to do so as a courtesyAt this point the new order is in production, and is due to arrive to the local installer between 5/25-6/The contract signed at the point of sale authorizes full payment prior to installation, and states that unforeseen delays may occurIn this case, the delays in completing this order stem from an issue with preference with the original product which is being resolved through reorderThe cracked trim will be repaired when the new shutters are installed

We do require all subcontractors to be licensed, and we check periodically to ensure complianceWe are researching and addressing this The refund was finalized on our end on 1/28/ A refund can take a few business days to reflect on the customer's statements, depending who they bank with The invoice/receipt for this refund is attached

During this call, he offered me $250.? I was offended.? ? He was supposed to call me that very afternoon after he consulted with his supervisor with a better offer.? I have yet to get a call back.? I was offended at his offer of $I have spent hours of lost work time waiting for installers and for wrong measurements to be made.? 3-day has not convinced me that we will ever have a working product.? ? The cornices have been ordered, but yet to be installed.? The fabric valence is not to my liking and made really poorly.? I will never get this re-done as the fabric is "magically" out of production.On this past Friday, I posted to their [redacted] page.? I immediately got a call from their media agent, offering a $refund.? This too, offended me.? The media consultant assured me that I would get a phone call today - and I'm not surprised to report that I did not receive a phone call.I did get an email today from [redacted] that let me know I have an appointment Nov11th for an install attempt.? I made this appointment myself, so I was well aware of this appointmentHe has yet to return my phone call with another refund offer from his supervisor, but he's quick to remind me about an appointment that I made.I am requesting at least a 75% refund.? I will not accept anything less? I also want my fabric valence fixed or replaced.? This company has focused on ordering the cornices for the THIRD time - that they have not addressed another huge issue in our order? I have been fighting with this company since August - my original order date was in July.? This is far from 3-day blinds, it's more like FOUR MONTH blinds.?
