Anytime Fitness sent my account to collections without a phone call, email or notification letter This was charged automatically to my credit card, so no bills are ever sent They don't offer online accounts to check account statusSo I find it extremely troubling that this would be sent to collections without notifications

I am *** the owner who dealt with ***, I'm actually surprised because i've had bigger issuesNo one likes a gym membership contract But the way I looked at it was I responded to her email within minutes, she wanted her payment to come out a few days later, I called our billing company
immediately to change her payments, it was too late for her date to be changed so I adjusted with *** over the phone to change, I can look through *** notes and send to you if you'd like The payments were not adjusted properly and she was charged a late fee, which I refunded to her asap She said she was charged overdrawn on her account, I said i'd giver her a free month for her membership I did everything right except that me and *** somehow didn't make the change by miscommunication I feel I am not responsible for her to have the proper abount of money in her account to pay bills, she signed a contract, I honour the contract and help people, I have always done so This is a matter of someone not having money for a membership contract and her getting excited over money that I have paid back She probably wants out of her contract and is doing everything to do so, I will be contacting her directly again, like I have always

please call me whenever you want, I am an open person that discuss's things to resolve

I am rejecting this response because: I should have received a call back, as I was told by ***When I spoke to ***, whom is writing this response, her specific words to me was her assistant said I was "belligerent" and she doesn't call belligerent people backAs mentioned, I did contact *** ***, Anytime Fitness billing department, whom instructed me to contact the gymHowever, the gym or *** the supervisor would not call me backAt that point what I am to do? How am I supposed to confirm what I needed to do if I cannot get a call back with an explanation? My husband didn't call the office to cancel, he called because a charge was on his account for $and he stated he had cancelledHe was told there was no record of the cancellation and that everything was paid and that I could still use the gym through June*** then told him she would cancel as of now, even though she normally doesn't cancel on the phoneHe was on a break and could not continue the conversation so he didn't pursue disputing the charge at the timeWhen my husband and I spoke that evening, he let me know what happened which prompt another attempt for me to contact ***As I mentioned I was upset when *** and I were on the phone, but it was more of us talking over each otherI do not use words like "sucked" but I did state that *** had horrible customer serviceWhen I went to ***'s office, I was calm, but firm, and stated I wanted to talk to her in person since she refused to answer my callsNot once did I raise my voice, their were multiple people in the gym so why would I embarrass myselfNot only this, I did record mine and ***'s conversation on my phone and made *** aware of thisI believe *** is not well at communication and should not be in her position if she cannot relay information to customers who ask to speak with herThis could have all been settled a lot differently and a lot sooner if a call would have been returnedThis is why I am asking for $to be returned, $for the month from May through June and $in fees that I received for late paymentAs mentioned, my husband never settled the bill, somehow Anytime Fitness/*** *** were able to access his account and took the fundsIf they were able to access the account the whole time, why was I charged fees? If I would've seen a charge prior, I would've called upon seeing the charge, however I probably wouldn't have received a call back as I never did in the first placeI believe this message should go to someone other than *** to handleIn her response there are many excusesI apologize her pet passed, but what does that have to do with this dispute? I believe this situation is not one for her to handleI am firm and the request for the $to be returned

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appers below. My husband never stated to encourage me to go backHe knows my work schedule and that it isn't feesibleThey clearly state that the only freeze the account for months that I already usedThey fail to include that they tack on those frozen months to the end of the contractI'
Highly offended that they lied about my husband Yes my account is delinquent because I'm not making an effort to find the money for something I no longer have time forAnd as for my weekends, I use them To catch up on household duties

I am rejecting this response because: They never directed me to speak with the Folsom branch for a refund and only offered two options for payment of the fees they charged; either pay now or make payments. They did not offer "many flexible options" and they were not understanding at all. I never signed any contact with their branch or the Folsom branch of Anytime Fitness. I never signed any agreement that I would be charged for any payments once I stopped attending the gym. My friend and I signed up for the same exact plan (month to month cash payment) at the folsom gym and once he choose to end his membership he simply stopped going to the gym and stopped paying and that was the end of his obligation since, like me, he never signed a contract and was told this was how he could choose to end his membershipI chose to stop going to the gym, and assumed that the same rules would apply to me since nether of us signed any contacts whatsoever. Since I never signed any contact with anytime fitness that said I would pay anything past my month to month agreement, there is no grounds for the Cameron Park Anytime Fitness to have charged my account or to hold me liable for such charges

Per the agreements and correspondence attached, we are allowing Kara to be let out of her contract with us There was a processing error with a change in management on site at the location and that resulted in Kara being over-billed in December She should've only been charged $to
finish out the $cancellation fee but instead was charged the full amount of $42.79.I've requested a refund to her account totaling the difference between those two amounts for $35.58.This will be posted to the account she used to pay her dues within the next 5-business days and her account has been cancelled effective immediately. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.Dave ***

I am rejecting this response because: the business is acknowledging receiving my cancellation notice in three different forms, but continued to try to collectI was never made aware of any club enhancement fee in writing nor does it make sense to charge a member for one month an enhancement fee. Furthermore despite receiving my cancellation notice in three different forms Anytime Fitness continued to try and collectThe only course of action I had was to have my credit card company refuse to process their illegitimate charges. Finally, I have seen nothing addressing my requested recourse for damage to my credit score due to Anytime Fitness' fraudulent billing practices.
Sincerely,

I researched ***'s account and determined that he had a secondary member on his account. The secondary member account had transferred to our Overland Club, while his membership remained at the Rigby Idaho club. *** cancelled his account at the Rigby club in October of 2017, however, he did not realize the secondary member's account had transferred to our club and in order to cancel the secondary member, he would have to contact our club. Since he cancelled in October of 2017, he will be refunded dues for the months of October, November, December and January, a total of (monthly dues of for the secondary member

I am very satisfied with the professionalism and workmanship completed by Ever Dry Toledo, at my home during late August The entire project was far beyond my expections Thanks to Ever Dry for making this experience great!

Dear Revdex.com of Western Pennsylvania: lam responding to ID ***Mrs*** has been informed in
depth and detail about her contract obligations on numerous occasionsWe offer a plethora of classes
on the Fitness on request program that she is referring to and they are

give her a few free personal training sessions that have a value of $eachWe have gone above and
beyond to ensure Mrs*** enjoys her experience at the clubShe also states in the letter that she
works 40+ hours a weekThat is why our gym is perfect as we are adults only and open 24hrs a dayWe
have many professionals working 70+ hra week who attend regularlyWe continue to fulfill our end of
the contract that Mrs*** entered into with us and we will expect her to fulfill her contract
obligationsMrs*** has tried to make accusations about Anytime Fitness on Social media etc
and is now trying any avenue possible to get out of the agreement in which she entered intoShe is

Ms*** joined our Anytime Fitness club Aug The agreement was an 18-month agreement with all the standard membership requirementsAs a courtesy to this member, on October 5, we canceled the membership early without any of the agreed upon early termination feesThis action taken on
our part was at a cost to the business exceeding $The $July fee referenced in your letter was a Club Enhancement fee Ms*** agreed upon in the application process

*** signed up for our PPC advertising service on April 17th. PPC advertising displays ads in the paid area of ***'s search results The service does not include any service to show a website in the organic search results. Any change in the *** ranking would be completely unrelated to the service purchased
During the campaign weekly reports were emailed explaining how the service was performing. Attached is a complete report showing the lifetime of the campaign. The product asked to target was confirmed and no traffic was delivered from unrelated phrases
***'s account manager was out of the office on vacation during the last week of June resulting in his direct unavailability. During this time all emails and phone calls were replied by other members of the team
A full refund for the final month was provided prior to receiving this complaint A manager called and emailed *** on Friday to confirm the refund had been processed *** asked for the refund to be expedited and as stated in the complaint, we explained the processing time is up to her banking institution

At the beginning of the year, I had the new years resolution to join a gym and try my best to become a healthier person
I stopped at this gym and sat down with the manager, ***She talked with me and ran through all the payment plans and different length contractsThe most appealing was the two year term, at around $per month
She explained to me the payment process, and got my information to start the contractShe explained to me that my payment would be pulled from my account on the same day of each month, for the same amount each monthShe explained to me that there is also a charge once every six months for the gym for any maintenance things, and that is a universal charge between every gym and their members
She went through all of the payment information with me, training information and fees regarding the tanning portion of the facility as well
Everything sounded like a good deal, and so I agreed to become a member of the gym
At the end of our meet

I joined anytime fitness and after a year they are still taking out a month from my account but not providing any service Apparently in my contract I signed auto enroll when I did not know it I initialed where I was told to initial and I did not realize it I have not been provided a service for almost a year and that is FraudThey will not let me use the facility per Alexis even though I am being charged since April of when my membership expired This is FRAUD as I know that you have to be provided a service if you are paying for it They took advantage of my initialing where they told me even though the gentleman and I use the term loosely assured me it was for a year

To Whom It May Concern, We have spoken to this member various times and he did not understand cancellation proceduresAll members sign an agreement for a day written notice to cancel after the contract term has been metWe ensure at signing all members know about this policy before they
initial specifically for it, agreeing they understand and accept itThere is a cancellation term in the contract stating that if we did not meet services outlined by our club within months of the signing date he can cancel and receive a refundThe member stayed the whole contract term and only brought up the statements after told about the day notice. We purchased the club in February and on March 29th we received new machinesThis included top of the line ellipticals replacing the malfunctioning machines left by the previous ownerThe club is cleaned daily by our staff and professionally two times a week by a cleaning service. If you need anything else or more clarification please feel free to contact us. Thank you, *** ***Operational Manager Anytime Fitness West Sacramento

We have been in contact with Mr *** on multiple occasions. He has claimed that we were never staffed when he tried to come in and cancel, however, our staffed hours are posted on our door and on our website. We are a 24/fitness facility, but are not staffed 24/He never left
any phone messages requesting a staff person to call him and if he had done so we would have called him back and even given him the option of sending us an email requesting his cancellation. We also post a personal cell phone number on the door if staff are not available over a long weekend. Our staff are fully trained on membership cancellations and would have informed him not only of our day cancellation notice, but that cancellation in writing either by email, mail or signed cancellation form was required. He claims that he tried to come in for days and that is what caused him to have to pay the extra amount. This is not the case, as with the day cancellation policy, he would have had to pay for the last month even if he had come in weeks beforehand. He is also still responsible for the last months payment even if he does not use the facility. We have told Mr *** this multiple times, but he refuses to accept the terms of the contract he signed. At no time in our correspondence was any of our staff rude. We have tried our best to explain our policy but have had no success. I have attached a copy of our contract with details of our cancellation policy

Anytime Fitness does not handle the billing - rather it is ABC Financial When a current member requests a cancellation, it usually requires a day notice per the agreement that they originally signed We expedited her request and cancelled her membership on April 6th as indicated in
her complaint She was billed the $as was agreed upon in her original agreement, while she still had a full membership up until May 6th Normally, we only process cancellations via a letter, rather she placed only a phone call on March 31st to cancel Further she did not return the key fob which needs to be attached to the letter We were gracious in allowing a phone call cancellation, however, the usually practice again is a letter to cancel She will not be refunded the $as this part of the day notice as agreed upon in her original agreement. We respectfully request that this complaint be denied.Thank you,Anytime Fitness

November 17, In response to complaint ID: *** (***) Per our contract, which the complainant has signed, Anytime Fitness requires four steps be completed prior to cancelling a membershipThe member must: Sign the cancellation form The cancellation form must be signed days
prior to cancellation If the member is still within the contract period, we require a $cancellation fee Member must be up-to-date with all payments prior to cancellation As long as the cancelling member has met all criteria, we have no problem cancelling the membershipWe have no record of a charge to complainant for $dollarsWe are not responsible for the supplement charge complainant is referring toAs the owner, I have instructed my staff members to hang up when someone calls and uses derogatory or foul language against themConversations with all hostile members are documented in detailIn accordance to the Revdex.coms request, we are not attaching documentation that identifies the customerWe will send all supporting documentation via US Mail
