I am rejecting this response because: In my contract it states that a Club retains the right to cancel or suspend the membership of any person for any reason I was also told when signing the contract that the Club could cancel and that it was not only limited to medical or moving In April, I contacted the Club in White Bear Lake on how to cancel the membership Their email to me included instructions on how to cancel my membership as required if I was under Contract (The also provided instructions on how to cancel if I was not under contract.) I followed the under contract instructions After emailing ABC Financial to cancel, the Club also states "Sorry to see me go" and asks that I return my key fob or I'd be subject to an additional fee for not returning it ABC Financial sent me a cancellation confirmation that my membership would be cancelled per the terms of the agreement as of 4/8/ This cancellation confirmation from ABC Financial and key fob were turned into the White Bear Lake Club in April

I was misinformed when signing the agreement on the length of it. I have been told to call a 1-800 several times, which leads my no where. I was never told that I could freeze my account, which I do not want to do, I want it canceled. I was told via email by the general manager that the owner would call me to discuss. I have never received a call from this person. I even emailed back to say I had not heard anything from them and there was no reaponse to the email. I wanted to let you know that the company, Anytime Fitness, and I resolved my complaintAlthough I had not heard back from the company or received a response from my Revdex.com complaint, I was keeping track of my checking account to see if the money for the personal training fees was still being deductedOn 4/12/the money had been taken out in the amount of $for the personal training feesOn 4/15/16, I went to the business directly and spoke with the manager, Julie, about the situationShe told me that she had notified her corporate office of the situation and that a check had been cut to refund me $95.73, the money that had been deducted the previous monthsWhen I notified her that money had been taken out of my account again for the month of April, she decided to call the accounting department to see if there was another way to refund my moneyAfter speaking with a representative, the decision was made to refund $back to my checking account and deduct $from my monthly gym membership fee for the month of MayThis gave me a total refund of $which covered the months of the personal trainer fees that were deductedShe told me to shred the check that was sent from her corporate office when I received itI want note that as of 5/3/16, I have not yet received a check from the corporate officeIn addition, she went into her computer system and saw that the previous manager had not put a cap on the months I requested personal training for so she removed the automatic deduction I verified on 4/19/that the credit of $was refunded and on 4/26/16, $was deducted from my monthly membership fee If you need any additional information, please feel free to reach back out to meThank you again for your assistance with this matter [redacted] ***

I researched the account under ***'s name and found that he and his friend both signed agreements with our clubEach agreement lists out the amount of the monthly dues, the type of membership plan (months), and our cancellation policyBoth members were given free months up front on their agreements, with payments beginning in March of I have e-mailed copies of both of the agreements to ***

I was on a month to month contractI cancelled it on Feb 5th when I moved to CaliforniaThey took out $on Feb 20th and again on March 20thI called to cancel on a recorded line at work AND mailed a request AND had my EX Wife hand deliver a cancellation requestThey keep taking moneyI can't cancel my card as I am in a hotel till my apartment is readyI opened a dispute with my bank, but they STOLE $DOLLARS SO FAR!!!!! I signed up for a month to month membership at Anytime Fitness , located at *** *** ***y Rockville, MD on 4/27/I canceled on 6/30/and my cancellation was processed by the manager MrLuke P***I had tried to cancel on 6/25/but no one was in the office and MrP*** checked my check in time on that date to see if I did arrive to cancel but no one was present from the staff at 1:20pmTherefore he processed my cancellation request and he gave me a signed receipt of this cancellation for my recordsNow, this Anytime Fitness gym is claiming that I didn't cancel and their billing service - *** *** ***- repeatedly calls me to update my billing information and saying my account is still activeI repeat- I have a signed written copy of my cancellation I want my account rightfully closed as they should have done on 6/30/Thank you

Certain employee out right lied about the contract requirements of his employer, but when I dealt with the franchise owner he was very nice and understanding, he took care of my issue immediately and professionallySo, I had a bad experience with an employee, but a good experience with the owner

*** Originally signed up in November for an 18-month agreement going from 11/16/through 5/16/The months of July and August were zeroed out, but his account was never frozen (therefore not extending the agreement, just waiving months as a customer courtesy)From our billing account
notes it shows the account was never frozen via proof from ABC (billing company)Under the signed contract, the early cancellation policies are as follows: Permanent medical disability to limitation that prevents them from being capable of utilizing any of the Anytime Fitness equipment (signed doctors note needed) or if they move miles or greater from any Anytime Fitness with proof of permanent relocation validating the distance to the nearest Anytime Fitness (there would be a $early cancellation fee associated with this)All cancellations are required to pay a 30-day notice payment (responsible for any payments scheduled within days of signing off on the cancellation formOur Franchisee set our own Policies above and beyond the corporate policies and agreement that allows members to cancel early (within agreement term) who do not qualify for Move or Medical as an added customer courtesy. Our members within our ownership group can cancel early for any reason for a $early cancellation fee + day notice paymentThis additional avenue to allow for more flexibility to our members within an agreement term was recently put into placeGiven Forrest's current situation when we had met in the office, both parties agreed that it would be the same cost to run the membership out vs paying all $(plus 30-day notice fee) up front, and this way he would retain access to the gym vs losing it with the early cancellation buy outThe cancellation form outlining these terms was signed off on by both parties when *** came inOur cancellation policy also states that members are not eligible to sign off on that form until days prior to their final payment under their agreement term, however, we allowed for the completion of the cancellation paperwork over months early to further help him out. I signed up for a subscription to Anytime Fitness in OctoberWhen signing up, the staff member explained that I could try it free for days, and after the trial period, I would be charged $32.50/monthUpon paying for the membership for several months and realizing that I don't get much use out of the gym, I decided to go in and attempt to cancel my membershipUpon going in and meeting with a staff member, they explained that there was no way to cancel and that I was under contract with themI was not aware of any contract as they explained during the siprocess that if I got too busy with college, I could cancel at any time and not be chargedI am very disappointed with Anytime Fitness

I do not agree with the business's answerI understand that there is a contract to be fallowed here, however we never discussed in details, nor the contract has any details regarding personal trainings not meeting my needsI have tried with three different trainers to have a decent consistent training, however that didn't happened and I stated why in my first appealWhen it comes to a contract I see how the business is in great details about charging my own personal credit card when comes to the individual trainings, however it is not consider that all those trainings wasn't just me having themMy boy friend was taking some, up to half, of thosesessions trainings He didn't sign any contracts with the business, he also wasn't charged personally anything for any of the trainingsI was the only chargedI still do not agree on how I am treated and charged on all those accountsThis is becoming very stressful and overwhelming to me for what I thought would be a nice visit to the gymI don't even know how can I even visit this gym again. attaching her agreement to this message) *** has utilized the gym quite often since initiating her membership(attached is her usage report for june, july, and august) Per our agreement, *** is scheduled to pay the $each month on on the 1st of the month Our cancellation policy for members under agreement has a few optionsthe federal remorse period of dayspermanently disabled relocation of miles from any Anytime Fitness Membership revoked by Club Management. We looked back in the notes on the members account and there are no calls from 11/but, we have frozen the contract for the member multiple times starting back in We also have refunded multiple late and service fees on her account when the payments were late to save her some
money. We have several copies of cancellation forms for members and we handle them in house, so there is no one that needs to be reached to cancel. The member first called to cancel she stated due to payment issuesMember later called back to state she had anxiety issues and is unable to come to the gymWhen we asked for a Dr.'s note she stated that she could not bring one in due to her anxiety, so we offered to let her scan and email the note and she has refused to thatThe members contract in currently up to date
