Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because the statements in the response are not trueI went to the location because he builds mattressesI told him I wanted a mattress that would not sag in a yearHe informed me that he had a guaranteed bed in a box that would work for meHe raved about his delivery processI paid $for a mattress that failed in a year and when it is replaced it will no longer have a warrantyI never asked for a cheap inexpensive mattressI just wanted a heavy duty mattress that would hold up for meI went to this business for his professional opinion only to be sold a bed in a box Sincerely, [redacted]

Ms [redacted] joined the our gym and signed an agreement for one year beginning 9/28/to 9/28/Ms [redacted] 's monthly payment were $due every 15th of each monthOn March 1, Ms [redacted] contacted the gym by phone stating that she wanted to cancel her membership because she was moving to ChinaI told her that per her agreement, I would need her 30-day cancellation notice as well as a copy of a document showing her new addressOn March 21, I received an email from Ms [redacted] stating her new address Mind you, her monthly dues are on the 15th of each month so we took payment for MarchOnce I received the needed documents on March 21, I turned in her cancellation which was suppose to carry on until April 21, I reviewed it with my manager and the decision was made not to charge Ms [redacted] for AprilThis was a courtesy that was extendedMs [redacted] does not deserve a refund for her March payment

The comment was rude and definitely unwelcoming, there was much more that was stated in the previous email sent to corporate (COPIED MESSEGE)--- I have decided to take some time to email some of my concerns I have had with the Tomah Gym and also explain why my husband or myself have not been back to the gym since the end of July I have struggled with weight my whole life and keeping it off does not come easy for me So my husband decided he would join the gym with me We have had a membership at the Anytime Gym in Tomah in the past and I was very successful at losing 85lbs, so we decided to join again February and we both paid for the year upfront I was having a hard time losing, doing what I did the first time I had lost weight, assuming it was because I was older so I approached Jen asking for help and how to use some of the equipment and if she had any ideas She talked about personal training and said it would benefit me I decided I would give it a try She said I could do payments on it if I would like so I put $down right away It did not help me, infact it made me feel worse! She was NOT motivational at all, she complained about numerous members, which later found out I was topic of conversion at one point She was so consumed in her wedding planning that one session was basically looking at pictures of where her wedding was going to take place and what they were going to do while in Florida and Tennessee Also, 90% off the time she would be looking in the mirrors fluffing or fixing her hair One session she had mentioned she wished she had more trainers so she didn't have to continue doing the sessions with people, which did make me feel like I was more of an inconvenience The thing that got me the most and was my breaking point was a comment she made about bigger people!! The comment came about because [redacted] was on TV talking and she (Jen) made a comment about how she did not like [redacted] and feels she should not be in the public eye Also, that she didn't agree with all the publicity she had gotten about her weight because she feels if your going to be in the public eye you should be fit and take care of yourself This really upset me because I, myself struggle with weight on a daily basis, not because I don't take care of myself!! After that session I or my husband have not returned to the gym I actually left crying that day and called my husband and said that I give up on trying to loose weight because a place I went to try and better myself and become more fit, now felt more judged than anything I did message Jen to say I felt the training was not working out and that I would not be continuing I told her I just felt our schedules weren't working out together, because at that point in time I felt defeated I had only done sessions with her to feel worse about myself than I did starting off I am looking for a refund for Month for husband and myself as we missed out on months due to comments and unprofessionalism that was addressed in emails! Also, message that was received through Facebook by [redacted] of Anytime Fitness showed no concern what so every of her actions or how it made me feel I have heard from numerous people they have left Tomah Anytime Fitness for the same reasons As said before I will not step foot in this gym again I have numerous people that will back statements and sign a form stating these concerns Looking for refund nothing less of thisThank you, Danielle [redacted] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, Danielle [redacted]

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I got in touch with the distribution center that Gatehouse uses, and they informed me that they would NEVER send a year old remote or anything used to any of their fulfillment centersThey assume that Gatehouse is pocketing the items being sent to them from the manufacturers as new, and then sending used or off-brand products and keeping the money Their vendor then said they would send me a new remote since they haven't used that remote in years. There are people in my building who also purchased this same exact remote from Gatehouse all around the same time, and all of us got that exact same remote they sent meAs for excessive wear and tear, I find that extremely hard to believeIt's a pocket remote that I kept in my pocketThe only 'wear' on it that I was able to see is the cheap rubber button that was NOT supposed to be a part of the remote started to peel offNo other damage was on the device before I sent it.I've contacted an attorney who is in the process of collecting victim statements from the other people in my building that were scammed by GatehouseTheir vendor is working withe my attorney as well to see why they are sending old and/or used items and selling them as new.In the event that they want to stand by their story that they're getting these items from their vendor, they need to contact their vendor and find out why their vendor is sending old and/or used items to them, thereby causing Gatehouse to send out old and/or used items.Basically what this comes down to is: Gatehouse is a fulfillment center for vendorsAs a fulfillment center, they have the obligation to ensure the product being sent out is the product the customer orderedIn at least cases in my building, this was not doneThey sent different old and/or used remotes to the of us This is a textbook example of consumer fraud. All in all, this is a $remoteThe fact that a company would defraud their customers over $shows the moral value of this companyI'm doing my best to work with my attorney and file a complaint with the Attorney Generals office for consumer fraud Regards, S [redacted]

Yes i'm very sorry he feels this way, every one of our contracts is open end, meaning the gym membership keeps on until we get a written response from the member, it says it clearly in the contract We do not have a letter nor any notes, nor any employee that can verify Unfortunately sometimes even though a member initials each response, the message isn't clear I"ve attached the contract and it shows in the bottom right corner about auto renewal As of now, we have cancelled the account without the day notice needed, have refunded 38.56, and have refunded over $worth of late fee's and have had to deal with Revdex.com because scott didn't check his bank account I believe he thought it just cancelled after the months I'm very sorry this has happened but I have given $back as of now if I was to go off regulation with $cash refunded to his account, and the $owed for the day notice We have many members that don't come in for months etc, we are the few gyms that actually call there members to use there memberships Scott claims that we should go by his usage, but we have no notes, would an extra $38.56, one month of fee's solve this issue? jay

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I do dispute that their standard practice of requiring a cancellation form be completed is not stipulated in their contract, only a written notice Regards, [redacted]

We hired a personal trainer specifically with his expertise in sports injuries We prepaid for months of training (big mistake!!) Approximately weeks into the training, the trainer notifies us that he will no longer be training at the gym because of payment issues We requested a refund for the remaining portion of the trainer and were told that we were not due for a refund because we had signed a contract We had not signed a contract at any point in time I asked Pam L [redacted] specifically to produce the signed contract She sent a BLANK contract with neither my name nor initials on it I had to contact my attorney for a demand letter, which she has ignored I have now had to file a claim with the state licensing board and will now be filing a lawsuit....all because of the unethical business practices followed at this gym Product_Or_Service: personal training
