I have read the complaint and am sorry the customer had a bad experience but every new member is made aware of the day cancellation process when they sign upAs the customer has stated this account has been moved off of our books and sent to collectionsI am aware they are asking for to clear his accountThese are past due months owed and service fees that are tacked on when they try to bill a credit card that the customer provided when signing up and for whatever reason the payment does not go thruI am willing to work with the customer to get this account moved out of collections and cancelled for of the that is past due. Thanks

Hello, Anytime Fitness is independently owned and operated when the member reciev s email it stars they are being transferred to Club they are using and they need to check with guildlines she choose to ignore when we had several attempt to reach her we are unaware of what the Folsom Club had set up with her as the have their own rulesWe aren’t aware of any of our clubs doing cash as this is not apart of the franchise rulesShe is upset with us when we advised her to contact the Folsom Club where she signed upWe offered many flexible options to pay off the months she owed the Anytime Cameron Park trying to be understanding and explain that everyone is set up through party company Abc to have dues staged and when payments are not received they are contacted email and text message to call us immediatelyAgain she made the choice to ignore usI would encourage her as we did to speak to Folsom for her refund if that’s what she feels but no member gets refunds our policy is that they have to submit the cancellation in writing which I do believe that is how Folsomoperates

The consumer, [redacted] signed a month agreement with our gym as per the attachment When we examined the original agreement we found that she had indeed signed in all of the indicated places for this agreement It specifically says months and it also states the reasons for cancelling this agreement We have spoke with MsSalyers several times and explained this to her as well as offeering to freeze her account if she is having financial difficulties Thank you,ANYTIME FITNESS OF BRIGHTON [redacted] ***Operations Manager, CPT, Fitness CoordinatorTell us why here

ATTN Revdex.com: I spoke with Ms [redacted] yesterdayI offered her a discounted deal for her to cancel her accountAs you can see from the attached forms, I did not have to offer her what I didThe forms attached I will review with you in reverse orderThe last attachment is her original contract with Anytime FitnessYou will find that she signed a month membership starting December going until January You will also see she initialed the Auto Renew sectionUnder Mississippi law, any business may auto renew a membership to a monthly term with customer agreementThe auto renew states withhold the right to increase her membership dues $0, thus renewing her current rate on a monthly basis until we receive a written day notice The next form shows her monthly invoice schedule from beginning to currentYou will notice that she is past due since AprilHer due date is the 1st of the monthShe called on april 5th not wanting to pay her past duesBeyond my understanding, or our policies, one of my staff placed a hold on her account for May, giving her time to take care of the past duesThe one month hold expired, and that is why you see a past due for June The first attachment shows her billing home page and total past due amount What I offered her yesterday was to forgive the late fees, June past due bill, and waive the day cancellation notice I only requested that she pay APRIL and come sign off on the cancellationThis is more than meeting her half way I do not see an issue in the way I handled this businessThat being said, if April is not taken care of before July 1st, the account will be eligible to be sent to our collections agency thank you [redacted] anytime fitness [redacted]

I was a member of Anytime Fitness and have been to several locations within Ca and various other states I have had no issues with any other location AF locationMy problem is with AF in Martell, CAThe owner decided to move the gym to a new locationThe estimated downtime for the gym was daysThat changed to two weeksNo gym access for two weeksI added a post on the gym's Facebook page stating members should be reimbursed for the two weeks of downtimeThe same day the owner of the gym left a voicemail for me stating that "he was not happy with me" and that he has canceled my membership and that I am no longer welcome at the gymHis actions were unprofessional and uncalled forStay away from this gymIt is extremely cliquey and your membership may be canceled at the whim of the owner and the associated cliques

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [redacted] -I appreciate your response. However, I received another call yet again this morning from ABC Financialindicating that I owe money on this account While I understand there maybe a delay in actually cancelling my account, there should be no reason whyABC Financial can't be advised that there is nothing further owed on theaccount so that there are no further attempts to obtain payment from me.Given that I cancelled this on 10/11/14, is there a reason I was billedagain on 11/30/14? And why wasn't the account then showing as cancelledafter 11/30/14?I would appreciate it if you would get back to me with this information andassurance that this matter is being taken care of so that I am no longerbeing contacted for payments after the final payment on 10/30/14, which wasalready paid in full.Thank you[redacted]

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards,

[redacted] and [redacted] became members on 2/25/and were signed up by an employee- Neither owner was present at this event About a week later [redacted] and [redacted] came in to get a free session provided by a personal trainer They were trying to get pregnant and their doctor was citing poor health as one of the reasons they could not get pregnantDuring this transaction the club gave them a price discount similar to what it does for buddy training even though they did not qualify due to them each wanting separate trainers During this meeting we recommended a diet bundle to help cleanse and re-set the metabolism of the wife because she was especially having a tough time We first recommended an Advocare day challenge due to it being green labeled certified, but it was beyond their price point The second option was a Fit Miss bundle that they ended up purchasing When it arrived it was 100% in tact The product line (not included in the package) included an energy-type product that they claimed they thought was in the package It was not and was never sold to them that it was We then, on our dime, gave them a similar product (that they claimed to like better) that we had in stock The husband opened the package and took servings out and after a week claimed he didn't like the taste We ate the cost and gave him a different flavor After about half of the diet bundle was finished, the wife claimed it wasn't working (she had lost inches, but not as much weight as she would have liked) They complained enough that we gave them their money back- not because we guaranteed any product (we know as a company that diet trumps any supplement and would be foolish to guarantee anything such as a diet bundle) To address the turnover- The Club Director had a Masters in Exercise Physiology and got a position with an area hospital She was a good employee and has our letter of recommendation We did, however, fire (1) trainer The trainer was under an arrangement to get a PT certification (we require all trainers to be certified) and failed to do so after being allotted months (more than agreed-upon) We did this to protect the health of our membersWe also let go (1) PT contractor (not an employee, an individual) for days of no call, no show The wife is supposedly pregnant- the couple refuses to get us any documentation stating that she cannot train They have also claimed they are getting kicked out of their house (they don't own or rent- they live with a grandparent) but until recently have refused to get us a bill showing their new address These are two individuals that have taken clear advantage of a small, 100% veteran owned businessBoth owners have led lives that have given back to their community and sincerely try to help their clientsOver the course of the months they did the following for these individuals: -Saved them a tremendous amount of Personal Training to give them access to that program, to include (6) free sessions each -Gave them approximately $of free Advocare Spark product -Refunded them approximately $for the diet bundle even though it was over half used and unsellable -One of the owners drove minutes to give them a personal check so that they could go to Indianapolis for a graduation (they claimed that Personal Training had them that strapped and we didn't want to see them fall out of the program or lose out on going to a significant personal event)The check was for $ -We have refunded them each months of dues plus their unused PT sessions (for him, for her- the prices they state are also inaccurate) to their satisfaction It is in our buyers rights to cancel where if you move you can be cancelled- all it took was for them to provide a bill from their new location and they had the money next day Our company prides itself on doing the right thing These individuals decided to use the Revdex.com as a weapon the first time they did not get their way instead of just complying with our internal procedures

This member's membership was terminated upon the proper cancel obligations by the member as per the signed membership agreement The member firmly stated that she would contact the Revdex.com and anyone else until she received refund As a business, we can not deviate from company policy and legal practice to accomade this member's request This member continues to try escalate this matter by making statements about the best practices of this businessThe matter was resolved in a professional legal manner as obligated by the business and we do not wish to engage in any further discussions regarding this matter

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below To whom it may concern, I sent in a prior complaint to Revdex.comSee the information below [redacted] responded to Revdex.com but lied in saying he refunded my moneyHe never has even offered that and I have emails to prove thisFurthermore, the voicemail that he left me was completely unprofessional and his displeasement with me and the Revdex.com complaint was clearly expressedHe continues to be unprofessionalHe broke his contract and will not see thisShould this not be resolved properly with the Revdex.com, I will have to take further steps in getting this contract cancelledI believe [redacted] has broken his legal contract with me by taking funds from my account on days not previously agreed uponOnce is a mistake, twice then he needs to be held responsible for his inconveniences to his clientsPlease see below information and if you would like to see the email discussions between [redacted] and I, I will be happy to submit them to youPreviously submitted complain to Revdex.com: On April 15, I had contacted via email the owner, ***, of my Anytime Fitness Club in [redacted] to inquire if a scheduled payment could be changed from April to April I did not receive a response so I emailed again on April and was told by [redacted] that it would be no problemI have all of these emails saved as I always prefer to have my financial obligations in writingFurthermore, I work long hours as a nurse and email seems to be the best form of communication for meOn April 20, my account was charged and I received a 25$ over draft feeI questioned [redacted] about this and he then told me it was too late of a noticeI am upset that he could not have told me this during our conversation on the 18thWhen I explained my frustrations, he offered no refund for the 25$ even after I asked if it could be taken off my next months billAll he wanted to do was have me come into his office to speak with him because he is "owner and manager and wants his business to grow." He offered free training sessions which I have declined several times as the employees in this gym are very pushy sellersI explained several times that I am unable to come in during employee business hours as I work long shifts as a nurse, which is why I typically attend the gym late in the evening [redacted] assured me that my account was changed and my payments would be changed to be taken out on the 25th of every monthI was understanding at this point because mistakes happenThen on May 20, my account was charged again for my membership feeI did not account for this money to be taken out on this date and the fee took the remainder of the funds that I had in my accountI got paid on May 23rd in which I budgeted my membership fee to be withdrawn as previous agreed upon with ***For someone who lives off a budget, having scheduled dates is an important factorAs a result of this early withdraw, I was unable to take my daughter out for her graduation dinnerWhen I tried to explain all of this to ***, he did not offer anything other than free training sessionsI told [redacted] several times that I felt uncomfortable with training sessions and did not feel that it was the best option for meEvery time I or my friends enter his gym, we are bombarded with trainers trying to sell their trainingI understand this is a business and selling is what is necessary but constantly questioning, emailing, calling just becomes too muchThis overkill pushes my interest in a personal training session and made me not want to come in when I know trainers would be in the officeDue to these concerns I have with the Anytime Fitness club, I have revoked my automatic withdraws with my bankI have the same request to you that I did for ***, I now want my membership cancelled waiving the $cancellation feeI believe [redacted] has broken his legal contract with me by taking funds from my account on days not previously agreed uponOnce is a mistake, twice then he needs to be held responsible for his inconveniences to his clientsI do not feel comfortable going into the gym anymore because this environment is beyond untrustworthyI have also tried going to the gym in Mesa and selling is the same thereI will not return to this gym and would not refer anyone else to join eitherI appreciate your time and consideration in this matterI look forward to hearing from you- [redacted] Phone conversation left to me by [redacted] after I sumbitted this complaint: “Hi [redacted] , It’s [redacted] Bru here from Anytime FitnessI just responded to that Revdex.comI am still flabbergasted on whats going onI dealt with this a few timesI actually responded to your email right awayYES, you got charged a late fee from your bankYou DID NO T get a charge from usI TOLD YOU that I would refund your NSF from your bank, right? I would give that back to youI said all that right? Umm, so I have done everythingI just don’t understand why you would write that letterI responded to itI understand if you had no money to pay your gym membershipYou’re probably having to struggle paying for a gym membership that you do not useI do understand thatThat’s what you sort of just said to meSO I do not know how to deal with this but YOU ARE in a yellow memberI just realized that you did cancel your credit cardSo WE HAVE to deal with this because you WILL get sent to collectionsThe ***, our billing company does thatBut I can help youI NEVER charged you any feesI actually gave you a chance to take an opportunity for some personal training that I was offering as wellThat’s $right there so I really don’t understand where you are coming fromI want to get this addressedI want to get it taken care ofI DON’T THINK THAT WAS JUSTIFIED, the letter that I readSo I am sure they, the Revdex.com is smarter than that and they will deal with it correctlyBut I think that we should deal with your account asap because you do not want it going to collectionsAlright? So give me a call on my personal cell phoneI like to deal with thingsI like to deal with them right away to get them resolvedThat’s what I thought I had done with you but OBVIOUSLY notSo give me a call, my number is [redacted] Thank you.” My response to this voicemail: I did not call [redacted] because I want everything in writing with this manHe has already shown his dishonesty several timesI would just like to reiterate that I was not charged a late fee from my bankI was overdraftedHe never has offered to refund my overdraft fee even after several times I asked, I was still declinedI am even more upset and disappointed that he lied to Revdex.com saying that he refunded me the money and that this matter was resolvedIt is far from resolvedUnfortunately, if I cannot get my membership cancelled, waiving the $cancellation fee, I will have to take further steps to get this resolvedI am hoping this entry to the Revdex.com will help this matter get taken care of in a timely fashionThank you very much for your time and consideration in this matter~ [redacted] Due to these concerns I have with the Anytime Fitness club, I have revoked my automatic withdraws with my bankI have the same request to you that I did for ***, I now want my membership cancelled waiving the $cancellation feeI believe [redacted] has broken his legal contract with me by taking funds from my account on days not previously agreed uponOnce is a mistake, twice then he needs to be held responsible for his inconveniences to his clients Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] By no means was I aggressive towards you or any of your staff, if so in what way? I have simply asked for a full on version of my contract which you have not been able to provideWhat you have still failed to address is the fact that your club is well within a feasible distance for me to commute to as wellInitially my only basis for signing up to this particular gym was because it was close to my jobI am no longer employed there and it would be ludricous to expect an indivdual to commute minutes to go a gymYour contracts are ridden with absurd loopholes and very misleadingYour so-called promototion wasnt much, dollars off then dollarsOverall the location is not doing well and you did not give me the promotion as a favor but rather to get my business in generalNot to mention you attempting to knock the time down from months to a year is simply a ploy from the startI have YET to encounter a gym with a 18-month contract, therefore it sounds like it makes sense for you guys to ask for the max so if someone does attempt to dispute it, for you guys to simply modify it to a year and still make a profitThere are not enough Anytime Fitness locations plain and simple for me to stick out this membership nor did you make it clear that I could not cancel for an entire 18-months Regards, [redacted] ***

We have a financial company that works directly with us for billingThey do in fact make calls to our members that have billing issues to make sure they are more than aware of anything that may arise from itAttached I have screen shots off all interactions and notes with [redacted] and our Financial companyI have also attached the apology emailAs that is the only way he stated in his complaint he wanted to be contacted
