The initial quote was for $80 to do a service call. Upon arrival, the technician (Jerome) informed my elder relative that to properly diagnose the problem, he would have to open the machine at a cost of $95.99. My elder relative *** agreed and signed this form, not realizing at the time that this is not a standard charge for repair companies. This seems to be unique to your company.

After the diagnosis, Jerome informed my relative he has to "fix" the mainboard, heating system and safety system. My relative hasn't argued with the guy because he thought it's an authorized service. My relative says that all he did was open the machine to diagnose the problem. He didn't do anything else, no parts were changed, nothing was cleaned or fixed.

Right after the person left, we ran a test and the dryer was still not functioning properly. I still got the exact same results I was getting before the repair. I called him immediately after the failed test he claimed that my building should come in and clean the exhaust. My supervisor came in and showed me the exhaust and it was sparkling clean.

Here we go, $470 damage, nothing repaired, the person still out there *** everyone...

When I initially called, they were very quick to send someone out to take $300, not so quick when it comes to the warranty service......! Someone was supposed to turn up in the given time slot, I even called to say no one had arrived, they told me he was running late...just never showed, then no call to apologize, I had to call them, several times, and their manager, Stephanie, was never in. Eventually she did call me back, I requested a refund, $50 was the good will gesture, and apparently Stephanie has no one senior to her, so I'm guessing she is the CEO???

This company came to our house last night to look at our fridge freezer. My husband had called the night before and was told $80.00 to come to our house to assess the situation. He was assured that if we did not want to move forward to get it fixed, we would only be charged $80.00. When the "repairman" arrived, my husband confirmed again that the cost was $80.00. This is when everything turned sour. The repairman told my husband a minimum of $280.00 to open the fridge door to look for the problem. My husband got promptly on the phone to the company and told them that this was not the information he was given when he made the service call. The fridge is 6 years old ... we can replace it for a few hundred more (this is our secondary fridge in the basement). There was a lot of arguing on the phone back and forth and my husband said he refused to pay any bill. The woman he spoke to told him the company would send bill to a collection agency. Long story short, we ended up paying $50.00 for someone to come thru our door and do nothing. After reading comments below, I think we got off easy. What is interesting is that after I told our story to my coworkers this morning, one of them called the company to ask about having a repairman come out to look at her fridge freezer because it was working right. On speaker phone, we heard the same *** that my husband heard. $80.00 to come out to your house to assess the problem.

When I reiterated this message to them they told me that it was my problem and not theirs. They were willing to give me a $25 courtesy credit, which I rejected as I spent over $300 on services that were not performed.

I emailed their customer service with the issues I am having, and they haven't even responded. As well, on their invoice there is no business number, HST number, address etc. It is a very generic plain invoice.

Monday comes around and the appliance guy comes back to check on the freezer, and he then tells me that we need a new compressor and his office will call us back within 2 hours to let us know the cost. I then went on to tell him I am not paying any more money on this freezer and am very dissatisfied with their service. He said they would come up with a solution to resolve all this. They have not called with their "quote" for a compressor and are not willing to come up with a resolution. Their resolution is $25 which is unacceptable. When I call their customer service they will also not allow me to speak to a supervisor or boss, and are not willing to come up with any compensation. They continue to *** and very unprofessional, and told me that I should have better things to do with my time then call them with my dissatisfaction.

Since they cannot fix the problem, which they should have been upfront and honest with the issue on Thursday, I had to go spend another $1,000 to buy a new freezer.

Appliance Repairman tech arrived at our home on April 8/19 to repair our gas dryer for it was not heating. The tech said that it would be $80 service call that would be waved and that it would cost $280 in labour to find the problem. The tech then asked me to sign a service agreement (XXXXX) prior to any labour being performed. which I did. After about 45 mins to 1 hr.the tech said that I needed a new timer and that he would call and give me a quote. He also said that he would give me a 50% discount of the part nd installation would be included. The total cost of labour was $316.40 incl tax. However the $80 was not substracted from the total labour charge. Very misleading.The tech said he would call me the same afternoon or the next day. He didn't call back. I called the office myself to get a quote for the timer. They said that the timer would cost $378.60 installed. I questioned this for the tech said that I was to get a 50% discount. The person did npt know anything about this discount. Very misleading again. The cost of the timer was greatly inflated, like al;most double the cost of the same time at other dealers. They said that the tech would call me. As of April 10, I have not got a call from the tech or anybody else at Appliance Repairman.

I called this company (Appliance Repairman) for service on my washing machine. The guy came out on Sunday April 7,2019 at approximately 11:10 a.m. looked at the machine and said that he could repair for 280.00 + tax (I paid 316.40 debit card) and said it would last 6 months but could break again before that. I agreed for him to repair.he completed the work and told me it was fixed and he left. I start using the machine and 15 min. Later the washing machine is broken with the same problem, so I called the company 15 min later because their advertisement says 24/7. April 8,2019 repair man came to fix sticky start button on *** dishwasher. He tried to unstick the button by using a screw driver on my stainless Steele appliance. When I saw the 2 scratch/dent marks I asked him to stop as he scratched my machine. He said it's just a little scratch what's the big deal. I said if you had saved money to finally buy a *** should u appreciate scratches on your car. He said he wouldn't care. He then opened up machine fiddled around with it seemingly not knowing what he was doing. Had to call his surpervisor. When I saw all this I told him to close it up he didn't know what he was doing. He lost 2 screws and now the machine led display doesn't work, I said he broke it and he said no that's because of the button, I said no because it was working when you tried it even with the button. He refused to admit he broke it. I called company and asked to speak with supervisor while he was still here but they said they would call me back. I'm still waiting 6hrs later for a call back. I had to pay the $90 service call per company.

Hello, So I *** a appliance repair comapny and came acroos thsi one and it seemed easy and fast to get someone out and to my surprise I had a *** run in with a *** service guy named ***. I greeted him respectfully with a hand shake and afterwards he said came back in 5 minutes to discuss labour charges to fix the issue. it was a simply error code that I showed him as I *** and showed just needs a reset in the board or system and found that $280 was high to do this and is was *** throughout. Called his office when they said they can do it for $250 + HSt I was ready to agree but he cut me off and I just got fed up with his attitidue and aske dto leave, he left the bottom undone and left ***. I then called the office and the first girl I spoke to ended up being *** as well threaten that if I dont pay a service call fee of $50 instead of $80 it would go to collections giving me no resolve to my *** sitituation when all I asked was to send back a new service person to fix it and I would pay $250, anyway I called back got another girl that was better to talk to but only said has to wait back to hear from service guys *** report before discuss further which doesn;t help. I do not feel like I should pay $50 for a service call that ended up as a very bad service experience and will now call another company to fix as there not giving solutions but only threathing to pay the $50 service call. Please help with this and ensure that this. A. Thank you!
