Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Regards,
*** ***
The response from Ron H*** of Aspen Dental Management is different from the agreement I made with him and Aspen Dental's Webster office on 2/16/ Aspen Dental's Webster office agreed to modify my upper denture to fit as I had requested when I first got the dentures from them but I will have to sign a disclaimer voiding the warrenty, which I will be happy to do after they correct the upper denture (Note: If a re-line was put in the upper denture I would be unable to wear them at all and thus be unable to eat.) A re-line of the lower denture might help them stay in better but would not make a difference in the gag reflex I have I am waiting to find a ride to the Webster Aspen Dental to see if they will fix the upper as promised

To whom it may concern: This matter has been reviewed by the dental practice owner and the treating Oral Surgeon a second time. The both stand behind the treatment provided and the billing of that treatment. I spoke with Ms*** on 05/01/and advised her that the billing stands as is. We have nothing further to add at this timeThanks, Sincerely, Ron H*** Senior Patient Satisfaction SpecialistAspen Dental Management, Inc

I am rejecting this response because:
He said no more when I talked to him than the girl said at the time I was in the office It may be their way of doing things, but they should have different regulations for people wanting to see them for dentures only and people wanting work done on their teeth If X-rays were as safe as he said, why do they have a lead vest hanging on the wall Why expose yourself to X-rays when it is not necessaryPlus being charged for something not wanted Nothing is black or white, there is a gray area to be considered.*** ***

The contract was confusing and misleadingAfter financing my said treatment plan Aspen Dental wouldn't do wouldn't do more work without OFP cash
My horror started in DecI needed some dental work but didn't have insurance or the cashI had saw the commercials and thought it was an answer prayer, Boy was I wrongWhat a nightmare I'm now inI had many thing's that needed to be done totaling several Thousand dollars so of course I was approved for financing thru Dental First FinancingMy first treatment went ok and I was scheduled for a follappointment in a few monthsI was still experiencing a lot of pain from my initial complaint, So I called the office and was told to come in to the office the following day this was around Feb/MarchUpon arrival I was informed I Wouldn't be seen without paying an out of pocket amount of or so dollarsNow keep in mind I had already financed my treatment plan I just needed an earlier appointment because of ongoing pain from my

When I look at the A- rating on Revdex.com I am shocked that they have received a high rating I would grade Aspen dental a D Each Department had their share of problems that I had experienced I started going at this Aspen Dental back in 2013, and stopped going there in around I will break it down by department,
The Billing department / front office I will have a cavity on a tooth that will hurtI go in for a filling So I would schedule a appointment for the dentist to look at it Then make a second appointment to have the filling put in When I tell them why can't they put the filling on the 1st appointment They told me that they were not ready to do the work at the 1st meeting So I had to wait another ( about ) days with tooth hurting to have the cavity problem on tooth fixed The dentist I go to now If the tooth hurt, and it needed to be done They would fix your tooth on the 1st, and only appointmentThen they sometimes have errors in the plan that they print out, and give to you The plan that tells you what work needs to be done, and how much it would cost some that is printed is accurate, and some you can clearly see they forgot to print on the plan I would like to mention a crown that was in the plan The plan stated that for the crown to be done It would be around $ dollars But they forgot to print on the plan that their was a $ prep fee When I look for the $ prep fee on the Dental plan It was not on the plan So basically what I am trying to say is that sometimes they're are errors in the Dental plan that they print on paper, and give you Sometimes I would pay for service in full, and a month later I would get a bill in the mail for $ or so I owe them because they made a mistakeNext I want to mention about the Hygienist The 1st time I went to her She cleaned my teeth, and had no problem The 2nd time I went to her I scheduled an appointment with her for a day, and time When I arrived to finish up on my cleaning from the 1st meeting I had to wait an hour And when someone did look at my teeth It was by another person who was a dental assistant because the Hygienist at the time was busy with another person And when the Dental assistant was trying to clean my teeth She did a minimum job So we rescheduled for me with a 3rd appointment with the Hygienist Then on the day of my 3rd appointment with her She started working on that day Then about hours before my appointment with her, she called in sick So Aspen called home to have me reschedule But I was not home at that time But when I got off from work early, and arrived home to get ready to go to the dentist I got the news, and was not happy about it To me it felt like the Hygienist was trying to avoid me because my teeth was not healthy enough for her to work on I did not want to go to her anymore after that The Hygienist I am going to now She cleans my teeth every time I go to her With no problems, and she is not trying to avoid meNow I will get into the Dental work that they do Dr P is the main dentist there But he has co workers that are dentist as well when he is not around When He started working on my teeth Right away I noticed problems On the 1st meeting I had with Dr P He did a filling on the top of one tooth And every time I put pressure on that filling it would hurt Then He did a 2nd filling which was on the side of the tooth And Dr P put a little to much filling to where the filling was poking on my gums And I would tell Dr P that I am having problems but it looks as if he was trying to convince me that there was nothing wrong During this time I had Dr P put in a crown on front tooth which I regret to this day When Dr P put in the crown To me the crown was too big I was not able to close my mouth, and clearly I can see he made a mistake on it When I told Dr P that I was not able to close my mouth He did a little grinding, and I was then able to close my mouth I told Dr P that I will give it a try As I was trying out the Crown Dr P put on my front tooth I started to notice that it was too big, and the crown was rubbing against my other teeth Because the crown was too big It started shifting my other teeth I went back to Dr P., and addressed all the problems I had Dr P was basically telling me to make an appointment at this day, and he'll fix everything Even though he could have fixed it on that day when I addressed the problems to him So I made another appointment with Dr P to fix all the problems that I had, and have a 3rd filling done When I came in to have everything done A lady dentist did my teeth, and she only did the filling Not fixing the crown, and the two fillings that I had problems with It felt as if Dr P was trying to avoid me by not showing up on the day of appointment, and have one of his co workers fill in for him And the female dentist only did the filling As if to say their was nothing wrong with the work Dr P did So I Left there, and went to another dentist in The dentist that I am going to now fixed the filling on the top of one tooth with a metal pick, and smoothed out the filling on the side of the tooth that was poking my gums with a thick floss I had to replace the crown that Dr P put in When the dentist pulled out the crown Dr P put in It was bleeding so bad that the dentist had to put pressure on it with a thick pad to make it stop bleeding That's how bad Dr P crown was Now as I was about to go to this dentist for the 1st time I had a tooth chip And then a 2nd tooth chip months later And sometimes it feels as if they chipped because the crown Dr P put in was so big that it messed up my teeth alignment Even now after everything is taken care of I can feel my teeth rub from time to time, and know that I have to get braces to align my teeth back to where they used to be before Dr P put a crown in that was too big on front tooth When the other dentist was fixing Dr P mistakes The dentist was trying to stay positive for Dr P., and saying that the front crown was o.k But when the front tooth started gushing out blood after Dr P's crown was removed To where he had to put pressure on it to stop the bleeding It was hard for him to back up Dr PThe only department I had no problems on was the x-ray departmentBut on my overall view of Aspen Dental I had problems with the Hygienists, and had problems with the dentist, and I had problems with the billing department / front office

Satisfied with staff and pricing

This has been the worst experience of my entire life!!! I have never felt so ill towards another company of any kind as I do with Aspen DentalI had an old filling fall out in between teethThis being my only pain or issue I had, I made an appointment with the closest center to me, a min driveEveryone seemed polite, took my x-rays and sat me in a room to look at a bill for $12,for a ton of work, cleanings etcWell that wasn't happening so I opted for $worth of work to fix the original issue (which ended up costing me root canals for the teeth) and replacement filling for a tooth I've never had an issue with and some routine cleaningsSo I took the fast *** credit and charged itFine! They immediately fixed my old filling, which was done by a new girl and done incorrectly so it caused me more damage to the molar below it which I now have to have fixed elsewhere since I'll never go back to ADI left and had to come back hrs later for the "real dentist" t

Dear Mr***: Thank you for sharing your concerns about the treatment you received. I am writing to you on behalf of the Rochester, NY Aspen Dental branded practice, owned and operated by Aspen Dental of Rochester PLLC. I certainly do apologize for your experience
at the Rochester, NY Aspen Dental office. I am in receipt of your complaint filed with the Revdex.com. I have reviewed it and your dental treatment records with the Rochester, NY Aspen Dental Office Manager, Lisa and the Manging Clinical Director. The records show that treatment was initially recommended for the tooth in question in January 2016. You chose to wait until October to have the filling done. In the interim the status of the tooth deteriorated which resulted in the need for a more extensive filling being done. As a courtesy, if you decide to proceed with additional treatment on that tooth, (root canal, crown etc.) the dental office will credit the $that you paid for the filling towards the new treatment. If you choose to have treatment done elsewhere, no credit or refund will be issued. To make an appointment to resume treatment, please reach out to Lisa at the dental office at ###-###-#### (option 2) and she will be happy to help you. I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to respond to your inquiry. The response to Mr***'s initial rejection came from the treating dentist and the Office Manager. I have no further response other than he is welcome to come in to be seen. As I noted in my prior response both the dentist and the Office Manager stated that Mr*** has not voiced his concerns to them directly. If he wishes to receive consideration for a refund or discount he has to address the matter with the Auburn, NY Aspen Dental office
