We have reviewed all calls and recordingsThe complainant was previously set up on a hardship arrangementThese arrangements were conditional upon the her honoring the payments she agreed toHowever her payments have been repeatedly returnedShe spoke with a manager yesterday and was advised
that we could no longer honor these payments. The debt does incur interest as it is a loanThe original balance was 14,she has paid and accrued in interestThe current balance is 15083.54 We are happy to send documentation that would detail the loanThis information will be requested today from the creditor and mailed to the consumerHowever after reviewing the recordings this is the first time this information has been requested despite the statement in the complaint. In addition, after review of the recordings we can confirm that at no time was any information shared with a 3rd party nor did anyone ever refer to the consumer as a "loser"The statements made by the consumer in this complaint are false

As we stated previouslyThe consumer would not need a contract with us in order for us to collect a debt from himAlthough this may seem self explanatory it would only be necessary for the consumer to have a contract with our client for whom we conduct collection services. We have requested that the validation documents get mailed to the consumerHowever, now the consumer is asking we not contact him which means we cannot mail him the informationWe will ask our client to send him the information insteadThe account is already in a "No Contact" Status and no calls or letters will be issued. We apologize for referring to the consumer as a female as he is a maleThat is simply based on name and we were unfamiliar with his first name. We cannot remove from credit but will notate his dispute until he has adequate time to review his paperwork from our client

The consumer is asking to pay to remove from her creditWe are not able to do thisWe have to remain in compliance with the FCRA which specifically prohibits this practiceIf the account is paid in full that will be reflected on her credit report, but we simply are not allowed to have her pay to
remove from credit

We have reviewed the notes and recordings on this accountWe have never spoken to the consumer nor have we received any documentation claiming "Identity Theft" If the consumer has such documents he can submit them to us via Mail at ATG Credit ** *** *** *** ** *** or he may email
them to *** He can also use the online portal at WWW.ATGCredit.com to submit thisWe also accept faxes at ***. Please bear in mind this is a medical account not a loan so that it would be exceedingly difficult for this to fall under the purview of identity theftHowever that being the case, we will reach out to our client and request the validating documentation and submit these to the consumer at the address listed in the complaint.

This account was closed off our system on 11-28-due to a dispute issued by the consumer through the credit reporting agencyWe have updated the credit report to reflect this and it should be removed

They have the address that was associated with this account, because I asked them what address they had when talking to them on the phoneThey also should have the account number , because have all the so-called information about the accountThe only account number I have is the last four digits, which I also included in my original complaint, which are ***The address they also have, which was XXXXX *** Drive, ***, **I know the account has already been closed, but it is still appearing on my credit report and continues to negatively affect my credit ratingI also am aware of MANY other people who have experienced this exact same thing from this company, and it has to stop!

This account has already been closed and returned to the original creditorWe dont take any position on the validity, however any future correspondence should be directed to the original creditor

While we empathize with the complainant, she did open the loan and agreed to repayment of the debtThe complainant has paid $and her balance is $76,We do not dictate settlement terms those are up to our clientHowever our client would not be able to settle this debt for the amount
paidWe are happy to discuss repayment however there are limits to what is acceptable to our clientIf the complainant would like to discuss this account she may call our offices and speak to a member of our management team, but she must be realistic in her expectations for adequate repaymentThere isnt a way to settle the debt for 3% of the overall balanceAgain we must take our clients best interests into consideration on any repayment plan.

The account has already been placed in a no contact statusHowever we have to reiterate we never released any information to any third parties and the debt is validWe will not attempt to call the complainant any longer but the debt is still outstanding at this time

We have reviewed the account and determined that a dispute was placed on file by the representative on the date of the first issue on 7/13/In addition we reviewed the calls on fileAt no time did the representative advise the consumer that we have no dispute processIn fact as stated the dispute was placed on file at the time of the initial call from the consumerThe documentation validating the debt was also forwarded to the consumerThe account is currently in a dispute status

We have reviewed the complaint and the account in questionUnfortunately the consumer is referring to payments made in 2011, but the current amount due is for purchases made subsequent to that dateThe last purchase on this account was made on 9/28/and the account was placed with us in
6/23/Therefore payments made in would not have resolved this debtIt is still outstandingIf the consumer has information concerning payments made after the purchases we are happy to review those, but at this point the debt is still outstanding

I do not owe this company a penny and will pay for a service I cancelled and will talk with a legal counselor if this is settle till I am satisfied

Despite the statement that the consumer made: "I have no idea who these people are or how they have access to my credit information"We have been contracted for an unpaid debt the complainant owesWe have sent a notice to the address in this complaint that discloses who she owes and the amount

We do not accept in-person meetings so any communication can be made via email to [email protected] or thru the websiteWe are sorry that the consumer felt we were rudeWe do strive to be as service oriented as possible despite the difficulties that we face in our industryIf the consumer has any further questions we would ask her to contact us via email or mailWe have placed a no contact status on the account so that she no longer will receive phone calls from us

It is satisfactory, even though the business claims to be doing it as a "courtesy", when it should have been done anyway because it was not my fault it was sent to collectionsThey can easily verify that with the company that sent me to them

We will need to once again point out that we did not have this account in and the employee in questions was not employed by us in The only document we received was for a different account and not the one we are collecting on. If the item that was mailed according to the complaint has information regarding this account we are happy to address thisHowever the last document sent to us was for a completely different account? We are happy to work with the complainant and again would ask him to call us and ask to speak to a compliance managerWe would like to help him get this clarified but the information provided thus far does not address this accountMaybe there is some confusionWe are happy to assist but he would probably be best to speak to one of our compliance managers directly.
