We have reviewed the accountWe updated the account to the credit reporting agencies on 04/05/The tradeline would not be removed but it does reflect as paid in full thoughWe are restricted by the FCRA and therefore cannot simply remove the tradelineWe hope that helps to clarifyWe did review all the calls and there was no time where a representative indicated we would remove the tradeline.?

We have reviewed the accountThe consumer advised us on 11/8/that he disputed the debt and never received or ordered the product in questionWe placed the account on hold and issued a fraud packet to the consumer to respondWe did receive a response that he wanted validation and was not claiming fraudWe placed the account on hold again and have requested the validation documents from our clientWe have not reported this account to the consumers credit and we have not continued to make callsThe account has been on hold since our first contact with the consumer on 11/8/

When I spoke to them originally they kept telling me 'It is illegal to delete the item from the credit report' which is untrue based on the fair credit reporting act? We believe the consumer is misunderstanding our responseWhen we say we are removing from credit that does mean that it will be "completely erased"This was requested to be done on 10/30/and the credit recipient agencies should have already processed this requestIf the tradeline is still appearing the consumer should contact the Credit Reporting Agency to dispute and can contact our offices to receive an AUD# verifying the removal

It is crazy to say that at no time was a representative rude or unprofessionalI guess it is perfectly professional to yell at the customer and call them names? When I was a manager in a call center, if I would have had an agent speak with a customer like that they would have fired immediatelyThere was no cause for rudenessI didn't cuss at him or call him namesAnd FYI ARGUING Credit has an awesome reputation for these thing all you have to do is Google them and you can read the reviews that other people have written about the rudeness of the people who work thereThe only person I talked to that was not rude at any point was [redacted] Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2014/02/17) */ All of the calls were recorded and they were reviewed by our complaint management teamTo reiterate at no time was anyone unprofessional, rude, nor did anyone yell or even raise their voice with the debtor The account is now settled and we consider this matter closed

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2014/06/05) */ We have reviewed the accountA notice stipulating these accounts were settled was last issued on 06/02/This letter should be received by the debtor and it should also show that these accounts are now settled in fullThis letter was issued to the same address provided to the Revdex.com We report account updates to the credit reporting agenciesThis account has had that occur on 5/8/If that is not reflecting on the credit report the debtor can submit a dispute to the credit reporting agencies on their websiteWe would then confirm the disputes validityUnfortunately we don't control the reporting agencies but are happy to assist if they are not reporting accurate data Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2014/06/05) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They have not provided information about the original creditor or verify the chain of lenders that the status passed through to verify that this debt is or was indeed legitimate

The dispute was submitted via the [redacted] program through the credit reporting agenciesWe responded that the charge was valid therefore it is still reportingDue to this new complaint we will now send a copy of the Enrollment Agreement and the Itemization of the charges for the consumerThese will be mailed to [redacted] Durango Court Fayetteville, NC [redacted] if the consumer has any other questions we are happy to attempt to assist.?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee we make phone contact with every consumer.However we did send two letters to the consumerIn addition the original provider sent notices to the consumer advising of the outstanding balanceWe cannot simply remove from credit due to her claim she never received the two lettersThis would be a violation of the FCRAWe have to follow the policies and procedures of the FCRA when reporting to the CRA's

Typically we do not send out recorded calls to protect the privacy rights of our employeesIn this case we were able to secure permission from the representative to send this recordingAs you will hear in the recording the representative made it clear that we update the credit report with the new status of paid in fullShe specifically stated that the account will not be removed as we cannot do thisIf there is a valid dispute that is handled by the credit reporting agenciesWe will reiterate that we cannot simply delete due to payment on a valid account Hopefully this recording will resolve any question about what the representative said

The consumer is asking to pay to remove from her creditWe are not able to do thisWe have to remain in compliance with the FCRA which specifically prohibits this practiceIf the account is paid in full that will be reflected on her credit report, but we simply are not allowed to have her pay to remove from credit

This account has already been closedIt was closed on 6/10/and returned to the clientAt the same time we requested removal from the consumers credit reportThe AUD Control number is [redacted] This number is confirmation that we requested deletionWe no longer hold the account and have completely removed from credit

We have reviewed the account [redacted] was not the collector for [redacted] auto they are the lenderNo monies were borrowed directly from the merchantThis was a private label account.? ? We are simply closing and returning the account to the creditor to pursueWe are closing this on our system and deleting from creditHowever to be clear that does not mean the debt is not owedThe debt is being returned to the original creditor to pursue as they see fitWe no longer hold the account and any further correspondence should be directed to the creditor
