Review: During the reservation, representative from Auto Transport 123 explicitly told me that there won't be any fee for cancellation if done before 5 business days before car's 1st available pickup date. They have kept their contract with confusing wording. When I called them for cancellation as I sold my car almost 20 days in advance and even when there is no driver was assigned to me they say they will have to charge me $100 cancellation fee. That is believable and worse part instead of checking their records of what they told me over the phone, representative I talked to cancel my order rudely defending it. Highly unprofessional, total lie and dishonest!

To general public, please do not fall in any of their sales representative trap. They are here to deceit and not honest at all. Highly discourage doing any business with this company.Desired Settlement: Cancel my order without charging any fees on CC.

Response:

Good Morning- I am supplying a copy of the Contract in which the customer signed, accepted, and secured with a Credit Card. We do not advise customer's can cancel reservations for free unless we specifically do not provide a service after 10 business days from the First Available Pick Up Date. If an order is cancelled out of our control, $100 or the reservation fee will be assessed. I am supplying the Terms and Conditions as reference. The consumer chose to cancel our their reservation in our office on 11/**/15 3:08 pm and was in-turn assessed a $100 Cancellation Fee. The customer has the choice to reuse this towards a future transport at any time by calling us, and setting up a car transport. Terms and Conditions for your reference: By signing this contractual agreement I hereby agree as the “customer” to accept the service which Auto Transport 123 provides. By signing you accept responsibility that you are the registered legal owner of the vehicle(s) and have authority to enter into this agreement with a valid working credit card, Otherwise you have been authorized by the legal owner of the vehicles(s) to enter into this agreement. I will pay Auto Transport 123 the reservation fee for the services agreed to herein so they are able to reserve a spot on a carrier. Your reservation will not be charged until the vehicle is dispatched to our carrier. I further understand that the “Balance Due” as described herein is the balance that must be paid in full by money order, cashier check, or cash at the time of delivery to the authorized transporter. There will be times when your reservation fee may vary which will be dependent on the carrier we choose to dispatch too. In the event this may happen the total price quoted will NEVER change. All orders must be canceled in writing and delivered by U.S. registered, or certified mail return receipt requested by Auto Transport 123. Reservations are fully refundable at any time if we do not perform our services after 10 business days. If your vehicle has been dispatched and it was cancelled, your reservation fee will be charged in full. The Cancellation of any overseas contract will be charged their full reservation fee due to port filing fees. I further understand that there may be times that we may have to broker out service to a certified, fully insured carrier. In that event we will not be responsible for any negligence on the part of the actual transporter for these routes. Fuel surcharge may vary in certain areas if a pickup or delivery location is adjusted. If an order is canceled due to something out of Auto Transport 123's control the reservation fee or $100 will be charged and either put on file or be deemed non refundable on a as per situation basis. By signing this agreement you agree to pay Auto Transport 123 the price quoted in contract. You also agree not to charge back a credit card payment to offset any disputes of damage claims or for any other reasons. Any cancellations which are listed/posted on competitors load boards within 3 business days will be voided and deemed nonrefundable for the full reservation fee. If the major credit card put on file is declined at the time of billing it is possible there will be additional processing fees allocated to the order. If paid in full on major credit card there will be additional processing fees determined at the time of placing the order. If an order is taken as a Bill in Full it is not disputable at any time. All pickup and delivery dates and times are only estimates. Auto Transport 123 will not be held responsible for any natural disasters, acts of Mother Nature, or any other incidents out of our control. If we have offered a weight allowance it is for no more than 100 Lbs of additional weight in the backseat or trunk. I further understand that this agreement is of no force and will be put into effect when I affix my signature below. Regards, Auto Transport 123###-###-####

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I explicitly mentioned that the representative from Auto Transport 123 have mis-guided during the 10-15 minute phone call while pursuing to book with them and to sign and give CC information. He assures me that there won't be any charge for cancelling before 5 business days before the pickup date. And now when I am cancelling me they are showing me agreement but they are not ready to release the phone conversation that they claimed to have in which there representative that they hired essentially lied. I am highly skeptical about such business practices. Not an honest business, I should have read and listen to their reviews online before doing any business with them.

Review: I want to report a business as I find it suspicious and fraudulent...I was looking for auto moving quote on internet and found this website and submitted my info for a quote. I got a call from ###-###-#### and the agent described about the company and lured me into getting details of credit card which I did not comfortable but the agent insisted that it was only for getting the driver and truck assigned to the order and they will not charge the card until it is loaded into the truck. However when I researched about the company such as in Revdex.com and the claims they made on their website as well as on D.O.T website..I found nothing that matched the claims they made on phone and immediately sent an email to the firm stating that I did not intent to go ahead with moving my car with them ...I started getting calls from the agent 6 times back to back and emails about asking me to call back and that I have already placed an order....

On the phone the agent told me that until car is loaded into truck I will not be charged but within 1 hr I see credit card charge in the amount of $100. I was just looking for a quote and I didn't anticipate a call from agent. I told that I would call back if I needed service but the agent insisted to provide credit card details... company doesn't even have legitimate business address. I got an email from [redacted].

Striking thing what I heard from them is that they do move cars for dealers such as for Honda and Audi and they published it on their website..However I found out that they only have 1 driver and truck to manage orders.

This is a perfect example of a scam...Please report and publish this on Revdex.com. I do not want other customers to get into this trap ever.

On April *, 2013, the Revdex.com raised concerns about this firm’s advertising on/in [redacted] and requested that this firm substantiate their claims regarding the following: "Top Rated Transport of 2013"; "world famous"; "If you book with a company that gave you too low a price, no truck will want to pick it up." As of April **, 2013, the business has responded and the case has been closed as modified.Desired Settlement: No other customer looking for an auto quote should be trapped with this company providing credit card details over the phone without confirming the order or service.

Response:

what is the complaint? this customer is claiming we only have 1 truck or 1 driver to provide our service? what are you talking about. Enclosed is the contract signed. No one gives a CC and signs a contract for a " quote". I apologize if you misunderstood something , but we offer multiple carriers for this route , I can literally pick up anytime... Why would you not be shipping with us? I already have someone set up for the order?

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

I submitted my email address and cell phone number on their website thinking that I would receive a quote to my email address. My intention is to get a quote and not to submit an order. Immediately I received a call from an agent [redacted]. He presented all the false marketing about the company which I later in the day found out from Revdex.com and DOT website that they already had 60 complaints in the last 3 years. Therefore I have decided not to get trapped with this company by moving my car. I have sent an email to them on the same day within 30 mins that I would not need their service to move my car on Oct [redacted] week.

On receiving my email, they charged my credit card in the amount of $100 which they are not supposed to charge as I did not used their product or service. On the phone, agent persisted me to provide credit card details even after I repeatedly told him that I was not comfortable but them he insisted that it is only to get the driver and truck assigned and I was promised the card will not be charged until the vehicle is loaded onto the truck.

I agree that I shouldn't have given credit card details and could have hang up on him but however the agent stalked me by making repeated calls when I was at work place on Oct [redacted]. He has persisted me to complete the electronic signature and since I completed it they are saying that I have the signed the order. So this is how they trapped me.

I don't need their service which I have cleared communicated. Please have this closed. This is not the way a business should operate. I have decided to go with another carrier.

Thanks

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

My credit card has been charged $100 for no reason and to this date I have not used their service or product. I need an explanation of why $100 was charged illegally. I don't need any future transportation from this company. Response I received from the business claiming that they are willing to offer a partial refund of $50 is outrageous. I need a full $100 refund back and not partial refund. Not sure if their response is genuine or may be they are trying another time to get my credit card details. I am not going to give any kind of personal information or credit card details over the phone or any other method of communication. I wish Government regulate and monitor these kinds of businesses and close them forever in the best interest of consumers.

Auto Transport 123 - Response 2/*/2015To Whom it May Concern-I am writing in reference to the complaint received by the customer. I do appologize that this was not previously rectified and I’d be more than happy to assist. Review: I recently moved from [redacted] to [redacted] and wanted to ship my Car from [redacted] to [redacted]. I hired AutoTransport123 to ship my Car for an agreed $1200 and signed agreement on 03/**/14 and before signing agreement I told them that I am flying to Ca on 04/**/14 and was told by Agent [redacted] that he already have a driver for me and my car will be picked by 04/**/14 however when I called on 04/** to get Driver details they told me that my understanding is incorrect and 04/**/14 is the date when they will start looking for a driver and my nightmare started. I had to ask a friend to park my car at their place and help with car shipment. Finally on 04/**/14 they assigned me a driver and was told that my car will be picked up from my friends place but driver called my friend and asked for $800 to pick up the car but I was told (as per agreement) that only deposit amt $225 will be charged to me on pickup and rest on delivery and he threatan to not pick if we don't pay him $800 so I contacted AutoTransport123 and they agreed to charge $150 to my card as deposit and rest on delivery, then another problem, the driver said he can not pick up the car and asked my friend to drop to his place which my friend did on my request (i didn't have any other option). So my friend dropped the car to drivers place on 04/**/14 and was given bill of lading by driver(ACT carrier), I thought now my car would finally be delivered (i was renting a car then and origanally planned rent till 04/**) within a weeks time (originally I was told that my car would be delivered by 04/**-04/**) but I was wrong, three days later 04/** the driver called my friend and told that he is returning the car as his truck is not moving and Autotransport123 didn't have any clue about that, this was the last thing I expected and put me into lot of stress, so I called AutoTransport123 and was told that next available pick up is on 04/** and delivery by 05/**/14 which I couldn't accept(another two weeks of car rental cost I had to pay because of this) and requested them to cancel my order and refund my deposit as I decided to end this stress and look for another reliable car shippment company(luckily I found one , my car was picked up on 04/** and delivered on 04/**). But they refused to refund my money which is against signed agreemet which clearly says that I should get if they fails to perform their serives within 10 business days. I have been formally following up with them by sending emails but no response, they said on phone that they won't be refunding.

Now I hope Revdex.com to help me getting my refund $150 and also if possible some sort of compensation for going to stress and paying for extra car rental.

I have copy of signed agreement and email communications.Desired Settlement: I hope Revdex.com to help me getting my refund $150 and also if possible some sort of compensation for going thru tension and stress and paying for extra car rental $410.

I have copy of signed agreement and email communications.

Thanks [redacted]

Response:

this customer was told numerous times that we would reschedule him a new driver which we did. The customer refused to continue with our service.. I will do the right thing and refund the $50 to show only $100 as a cancellation fee.. Other than that I cannot believe this customer wrote a complaint considering he cancelled his order never properly send in the paperwork to do so and we had 2 drivers. He refused to ship the car with us.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Hi, I didn't find Business's response acceptable because I had a lengthy conversation with them on 04/** regarding cancellation of my order because I didn't want to take another risk as they had failed to deliver my car as per original agreement. I already mentioned in my email that I had to pay $410 for renting the car for extended period of time due to delay cause by them. And I had formally sent them an email requesting cancellation of my order (refer attachment) and they replied confirming cancellation and now how can they say that I did't inform them about cancellation. I again request for refunding my full deposit $150.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[In first response business said I didn't inform them about order cancellation and now saying that I didn't go by agreement. Agreement is one sided and Business didn't follow the agreement terms themselves on many occassions, first by not arranging for car pickup by 04/** which was originally promised, second they demanded $800 in advance before car pickup and threaten that my car wouldn't be picked, third no one came to pickup the car instead we had to drop the car to driver's place, fourth no one from Autotransport knew that driver has dropped the car back to my friend's place.Even agreement says that I should get full refund if services are not performed in 10 business days which didn't happen, now you might have a different view of services done but from a customer's perspective its when they get their car delivered. I had to go thru a lot of stress because of all this, my car was still in [redacted] when I had already moved to new place, before signing the contract [redacted] said he already have a driver for me(request to check call recordings if you have) and later he said he does not handle all this, and always referred me to customer service. His tone was always like he does not care about customers once an agreement is signed]. I had to pay $410 as car rent for extended period of time because of this, I again ask you to check my call recording with [redacted], if always said that my car would be delivered by by 04/**-04/**.

Agreement is one sided and Business didn't follow the agreement terms

4/* was your first date of availability not your pick up date. No you just stated it perfectly you have a different view of what service provided is considered. Considering I had 2 drivers for this order my offer has been made. I'm happy to refund this for you the $50 that would make you a general cancelled order. We are not here to work for free as I don't expect you go to work for free either. Your rental car fees mean nothing to me as I alluded to in your past email that you choose to go with a flexible window of time for pick up to save $50.

Review: Autotransport 123 (AT123) lied about its services it provides. AT123 presented themselves on the phone as owning their own trucks and do not subcontract out the work for bid like other "shady" transport companies. AT123 reassured me that I do NOT want a company that processes a reservation fee right away as that means those other companies would take their time setting up the services and I'd be left with my money tied up with that company. Meanwhile AT123 did that exact thing to me. Their fine print on the contract states they will process the reservation fee when driver was dispatched, and then they would have 10 business days to perform their services (which was sold to me on the phone as driving the vehicle and delivering to me, NOT as simply referring me to a transport company), if AT123 did not perform in that time, AT123 would provide a refund.

When I called to request a refund, they refused and said a trucker was dispatched today, and it was my fault as they have been trying to contact the dealer to arrange pickup. They have NEVER communicated to me, nor the dealer on when shipment would be set up; I have received NO calls, neither has the dealer to my knowledge. Additionally, they stated 10 days had not yet passed; however, this is too late by any measure, 10 business days has now elapsed and I am requesting a refund for non-performance. I entered into agreement with AT123 on 9/**/2013, where I would start the clock now and 15 business days has elapsed. AT123 claim the actual start is on 9/**/2013 when they processed my resrvation, 10 business days would have elapsed last Friday 10/**/2013.Desired Settlement: Refund of $240 "reservation fee" for non-performance of requested services

this customer is absolutely wrong we own our own trucks? at the top of our contract is 48 size font is our MC # this # informs customers we absolutely do not own our own trucks and that we are a broker. [redacted]s that #... we make no secret of being the nations largest auto transport broker what we told this customer is we work within a direct network of carriers who we do business with frequent and often. This customer booked with us while being on the board with another company. We continued to work on the order although the posting was still there. We sent out driver 5 days later to pick up this unit. The dealership of pu and delivery contact refused to answer any phone calls. The customer never cancelled this order with us he just continued to have us send drivers to non responsive dealers. Furthermore we never received any paperwork or info in regards to cancellation please provide the written notice within your 10 day contract and we will happily refund.

Review: Booked a car transport from AZ to IN and when working with the costumer service person ([redacted]) I stated that the only way that I would book is if the vehicle would be picked up on 6/*/15. She stated that she could do that. I also said that if it wasn't picked up on 6/*/15 that I wouldn't want their service. She stated that was fine and that I wouldn't be charged anything if the vehicle was not picked up. I then booked the transport of the vehicle. On 6/*/15 in the morning, I called trying to verify a time and at that point [redacted] stated that the transport broke down and wouldn't be able to pick up on 6/*. At that time I said fine and that I wouldn't need anything from them and she told me that was fine and I wouldn't be charged anything. On 6/**/2015 I was charged $100.00, for who knows what but just another company wanting to be paid for a service that they did not provide.Desired Settlement: Want my money back plus the overdraft that was cause on my account for a charge that I wasn't prepared for. Would also like them to be fined for all the fraudulent charges that they have done. Not everyone takes the time to write a complaint. I would also like to see a report from the last year on what the income was for the company from these charges and that information be made public.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The person that I talked with ([redacted]) we discussed that if it was not picked up on Saturday that I would not want there service and I would not be charged. 1. You can go to the recorded phone calls that they would have on file. 2. There was never a truck dispatched from the company. No phone call was ever made to me on Saturday. No driver ever contacted me. Where is the proof from that.3. Called [redacted] on Saturday after not hearing from a driver and I was told at that time that the driver was not available and it would not be picked up on Sat.4. After not getting a transport from them on Saturday, I told [redacted] that I would not need there service and I was told that is fine and I would not be charged. They tell me that they record phone calls. Bring up the records and listen to the phone calls. They took money, when they shouldn't have, I was not only charged for the $100 but it overdrafted my account for $36 since I didn't know I would be charged after conversations with the rep [redacted]. They promise things to get you to sign up and then don't deliver and still charge you for no service. What they are offering is not acceptable and I am sure this is not the first time it happen. The min that I would accept for this settlement to be resolved is the $100 refunded back to my credit card.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. For me it is resolved, but what happens in the future with other people? The company's sales people/brokers are deciptive and will do anything to get you to sign the contract. I called on a Friday, promised a transport on the next day. When they can not deliver on their word, it seems there is no way to cancel without being charged. It makes it very difficult for me to ever try this again. I know things happen that are out of everyone's control but why would people get charged?Just trying to make sure that somehow, nobody else would have to go through with this situation. It is almost that I would want them to sign a contract that states I can cancel if not picked up on the date and time.Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: The local sales rep from [redacted]) told me that the contract he wanted me to electronically sign was just a way for me to hold the special price so that I can lock it in to ship my car from [redacted] to [redacted]. Once I get all the necessary detail from my insurance and lender is in order I will contact him to go agead and go thru the process of shipping my car thru Auto Transport 123.. After I informed their rep ([redacted]) that I no longer need to ship my car. I was charged $400.00 for cancellation of an order to ship my car which I did not authorize. I spoke with [redacted] and her supervisor regarding this situation but they were not willing to help me resolve this situation. Very disappointed for not having no customer support.Desired Settlement: Refund the $400.00 taken from my bank for the misrepresantion of their Sales Rep.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

I was told by one of owners/employees they own their own trucks. They do not. I received a call from the shipper a couple days before the shipping date. I was very surprised because I had no idea someone else would ship. I did my research on Auto Transport 123 & had no information on the other company. I tried calling Auto Transport 123 & was on hold an hour before finally hanging up. After finally reaching, Casey, I requested information on the shipper, which I received a couple days later. I chose this company because I was told by their representative, that they have their own trucks. I felt there was deception. The shipper (Cars Inc) was 4 hours late. The car arrived in one piece.

Review: I was contacted by Auto Transport 123 after requesting a quote. The salesman quickly talked me through a contract while assuring me it was only to lock in a price and could be canceled at no cost. When I attempted to cancel, the same day, I was charged a $100 fee. The salesman has not returned phone calls.Desired Settlement: Removal of $100 reservation fee placed on my credit card. I have already disputed this fee with the CC company.

Review: The company Is not honoring their advertised policies; deplorable costumer service; refusal to refund $250 deposit made for services not rendered

In reference to Order [redacted]:

Auto Transport 123's policy Is to provide the customer with a 24•48 hour notice of when a vehicle will be picked up by a hired driver for transport. Ipaid a $250 deposit on June [redacted] 2014, and was promised to have the vehicle in-transit within 10 days. On June [redacted] 2014, Iwas contacted by a very rude and difficult to understand driver named [redacted] on June [redacted] at [redacted] and only given a 9 hour notice of when he was going to pickup the vehicle to be transported from [redacted], ** to[redacted]

which was an unworkable, out-of-policy, and unreasonably short window to get have the vehicle ready for pickup. When Iasked the company to reschedule on June [redacted] with th.e as-promised 24-48 hour window, Iwas told that "they did their job" and "don't work for free." Ireminded them that their policy clearly dictates a process Involving a 24-48 hour notice and that Iwas only given 9 hours. A customer service rep whom Ihave been dealing with named [redacted] reassured me on June [redacted] that a new driver would be found and the tuck would be in transit within 10 days. Icalled Auto Transport 123 Today July[redacted], 12 days after the conversation on June [redacted]and once again spoke with [redacted] who was very rude and told me that the company would not refund my deposit despite the fact that their own policies were broken, and hung up the phone on me. Auto Transport 123 has routinely not answered the phone, returned my

calls, or returned emails. This Is evidently a common complaint with this tompany.-•Thave contacted my•-- •

credit card company and explained the dilemma. The customer service representative with my credit card's claims dispute department mentioned that this standard practice for this company and they have received numerous similar complaints. Ihave never experience [redacted] professional and poor service with any

company Ihave dealt with than what Iexperienced with Auto Transport 123.Desired Settlement: Seeking a refund ofthe$250 deposit made With the promise•that-my vehicle located -• ... In [redacted], ** would be In transit to[redacted], ** within 10 days from June [redacted] according to the agreed upon terms, conditions and policies advertised on the company's website and signed off on by me. It Is now July [redacted] and my vehicle has not been transported. The only attempt made to pick-up the vehicle was done so with In Inadequate notice ahead of time. Auto Transport 123's policy promises a 24-48 hour notice and Iwas given a 9 hour notice the night before. To further attempt to find a driver has been

made by Auto Transport 123. The company is refusing to refund the deposit alleging that they have completed their work to find a driver- even though the the vehicle was never transported because Of the Inadequate, out-of-policy notice from the driver.

Review: I hired the company to transport my daughter's car from the East Coast to the West Coast and under the agreement they had 10 business days to perform the services that were agreed. Included in the contract was to pay the $225 reservation fee only when and if the car was going to be picked up within the 10 business days, then at the time of delivery the rest of the payment would be charged. The day of the alleged pick up day (July **, 2013) the company wanted to charge the balance in full before the service was provided and when we denied the request they argued with us that it was in the contract when in fact it was not. The contract stated the opposite. [redacted] in customer service then proceeded to yell at my daughter on the phone and tell her that she was "screwed" and that the car was already picked up by the driver and the reservation fee was going to be charged and when the driver delivered the vehicle she was responsible to pay the driver with cash, money order, or certified check and if we didn't allow the payment in full right then in that conversation, then the car would be placed in storage. There was no agreement in the contract to pay with cash, money order, or certified check. The agreement was with a credit card and the contract stated nothing about paying in full before the car was delivered or picked up. After my daughter was hung up on she then immediately called the family member that was keeping the car for pick up to see if the car was actually in their possession and it was not. [redacted] lied to my daughter to intimidate her to authorize the payment in full before the car was picked up. It is my belief that they lied to her to get her to pay while on the phone before actually being able to verify where her car was. My daughter was then emailing back in forth with [redacted], who we believe to be the owner, and in the emails he spoke to her very unprofessionally. She advised him not to "touch" the card or car since they broke contractual agreement and that we would report it to the Revdex.com. Included in the emails back in forth with [redacted], she told him that their services were no longer authorized due to breaking contractual agreement and he then stated nothing would be canceled until it was delivered via U.S. mail as per the contract therefore her attempt to cancel was disregarded. It was not until July **, 2013 that the carrier tried to pick up the car from the pick up location and this date was after the 10 business days mentioned in the contract. The 10 business days began to accrue July **, 2013 which was the first pick up date which makes July **, 2013 the 10th business day. Based on them breaking the contract before hand with the payment situation the contract became null and void, but even if it wasn't they did not perform their services within the 10 business days that was included in the contract. The reservation fee per the contract would be refunded or not charged at all if the services were not provided by the 10th business day. We want the $225.00 charged to the card refunded. No charges are to be charged on the credit card due to breaking contractual agreement and we want the Revdex.com to know of this situation so others will be aware of the company's history with other customers. They also made unauthorized charges of $100 in the beginning and $125 on July ** to my card. it needs to be refunded in the amount of $225.00. Nothing was even supposed to be charged according to the contract until the car was dispatched yet they charged the card for $100.00 when the contract was first signed, then charged the card again on July **, 2013 for $125.00 and the car still was not picked up. The services were not performed within 10 business days because the car is still not picked up. A letter was mailed out via U.S. mail on July **, 2013 (after the 10th business day) to cancel the services with return, receipt, requested provided.Desired Settlement: No charges to be charged on the credit card due to breaking contractual agreement and for the Revdex.com to know so others will be aware of the company's history with other customers. and because they charged the $100 in the beginning and $125 on July ** to my card it needs to be refunded in the amount of $225.00. Nothing was even supposed to be charged according to the contract until the car was dispatched yet they charged the card for $100.00 when the contract was first signed and then charged the card again yesterday on July **, 2013 totaling $225 and the car still was not picked up. The services were not performed within 10 business days because my car is still not picked up after July **, 2013 and July **, 2013v was the first day counted towards the 10 business days. and July **, 2013 makes it the 10th business day

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Hello, according to their response they are justifying the charge that they made to the card on 7/** because we broke contract which is not true. According to their response they are saying we broke contract on 7/** yet on 7/** you can see an email from [redacted] stating that the driver was "sent up" and it was supposedly "sent up" for 7/** between 5-8. If I had broken contract as of 7/** then on 7/** they would have not been supposedly setting up the driver for me on 7/**. There was no agreement that they would charge $100.00 at any time before they performed their services and then the additional $125.00 which was charged on 7/**. Refer below to the email stating that they "sent up" the driver on 7/** however, they tried to charge my card for the full price when in our contract it states nothing about charging the card in full. It continues to state that the reservation fee of $225 will be charged when services have been provided and the rest will be due cash, money order, or cashier's check upon delivery. It was a verbal agreement that the amount would be put on a card at delivery and then there was an email making sure that the driver was aware that the balance would be placed on a card and that it would not be cash, cashier's check, or money order. Please refer to contract that states payment is with a credit card and Please refer to email message that states when they supposedly "sent up" the driver for 7/**. According to this information they broke contract on 7/** by charging the card before their services were not provided by 7/** ad therefore there was no authorization or agreement for them to take any money at that time. They also broke contract on 7/** by trying to charge the card for the full amount before the vehicle was ever picked up or delivered. 7/** made it the 10th business day that they were supposed to provide the services within and have my daughter's car picked up by a driver and they failed to do so. On 7/** the driver tried to pick up the vehicle at a different time and day then was supposedly initially "sent up" and this day was after the 10 business days that they are supposed to perform their services by. It also states that the $225 reservation fee will be refunded if they do not perform their services within the 10 business days and they did not so the reservation fee needs to be refunded. Regardless of any breaking of the contractual agreement on 7/**(which was broken on that day as well) they broke contract on 7/** by charging the card early. The first available pick up day is the first day that is counted towards the 10 business days and 7/** was the first available pick up day that they documented in the contract. It was verbally told to them that on 7/** it was available for pick up since 7/**. The initial contact with the company was on 7/** when [redacted] had the calls forwarded to her cell phone over the weekend. Please refer to the contract under first available pick up date. Regarding hiring another company to transport my car was not until after the 1o business days and after they broke contract. I also have phone records, and four witnesses that are willing to come forward if need be. The company needs to refund the $225 that they charged on the credit card without authorization and without fulfilling their duties. I want other customers to be forwarned also that if they work with this company their money can be taken from them although they do not uphold their contract.

Please see attached agreement between company and I that shows first available pick up as of 7/** under "first avail date" on top right hand corner , it states nothing about charging credit card in full before delivery or pick up, it states that services are to be provided within 10 business days or reservation fee will be refunded, and it states nothing about charging the card before the services are provided, but that the reservation fee will be charged when services are fulfilled, and it does not state anything about charging any sum of money in split payments and yet they charged the card on 7/** and admit it in their response. I have also attached a copy of a letter sent to [redacted], [redacted], and Jerard which was sent return, receipt, requested canceling services and I also have the receipts that show they received it if I need to send them in for proof. Please see attached email between driver and my daughter warning the driver that they were going to have him continue to pick up the vehicle although they knew we could only pay via card and would not do it until services were provided, and they were telling him it would be cash since we would not allow them to charge the card in full until the services were provided.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: On ** May 2014 I called and contracted for $950 for the transport of a vehicle from Kansas City, MO to Arizona. [redacted] was the rep I spoke with, I explained the contract for transport was already on the board and had been for two weeks. Finally, he processed the contract with the wrong vehicle on the contract. I called back within 5 minutes and he said don't worry I will fix it, he also stated it would be a little more challenging because the car was already on the board. Pick up was scheduled for ** May 2014. [redacted] showed on the [redacted], I called and the weekend operator told me they should be there Monday. Monday [redacted] called and said the contract went up from $950 to $1250. Ultimately I decided to cancel, [redacted] told me he would inform everyone there at the company. I contracted with another company, the vehicle was moved and a week later Autotransport 123 charged my CC for $225. I called and spoke to their customer service rep, [redacted], she said she would work on it and transferred me to [redacted] who said he would work on it and get the credit processed. A week after I called back and spoke with [redacted] again and she informed me that I would not get a refund because their contract stated if it was on the board within three days of cancellation they would not refund. They broke the contracted amount, their contract says they will take the difference out of their deposit, that didn't happen, nor did they ever provide the service for the vehicle. I spoke to [redacted] and she said that was the reason why they wouldn't refund, then I spoke with her boss [redacted] who told me the reason they wouldn't refund is the driver called and said I was trying to back door them. I did tell them I would pursue legal action if we could not resolve the issue, which is when they decided to hang up and transfer me back to [redacted], who ultimately didn't answer the phone.Desired Settlement: Refund of $225 charge to the credit card on file.

Review: If I could give them minus stars, I would.

I sent in a request for them to move a car from IL to CA. I got the quote from them stating they could move the car at a price that was fair. When I emailed them back, I asked if they could move the car on a specific date. They came back and said they could and they had a truck lined up. Based on that I said I will use you as my shipper.

As the day unfolded they said they were having some issue in regards to other people posted the transport job. This was because I filled out an online form for quotes. I did not authorize those shippers so ATC 123 asked me to call them to remove their posts. I called the companies listed and got an earful in regards to ATC did not have a truck and they would do a bait and switch in regards to their service. I told the different companies thank you for the warning and but I had to pick a shipper. I relayed to ATC 123 I called the other shippers and the warnings they gave me. ATC replied that was the norm for the industry and not to worry they had it taken care of.

Through my several calls and email the situation kept going down. ATC 123 said they were having issue from the other transporters still. This made me concerned as they stated they had a truck or could get a truck so what did it matter. I asked for the trucker’s info, which they said they had already remember, and they never provided it. This was because they had no shipper. After another call I was asked to call the other shippers again. I had to make that call to other shippers 3 times where I got the same warning and to go with them.

By this point, I was very frustrated as you can imagine. (NOTE) the agent I was working with was beyond exceptional to point out. He knew where I was coming from and he could see how his company was putting him in this situation. But in the end he could not help me and this put us to the point we are at now.

As ATC 123 failed to pick up the car as they said they could and are saying “factors” out of their control they charged me a $100 cancellation fee. As stated in the phone calls and email follow-ups, I was told they had a truck, which means they were lying, and pulled a bait and switch as the other companies warned. This meant they breached their own agreement with me, the client. I of course asked for this to be reversed based on it was not “factors” out of their control but them lying about being able to provide a service. They have refused to issue a refund and now having to go the other route.Desired Settlement: Reverse the 100 charge for them breaching the agreement of service. They failed the contract agreement and flat out lied.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

I recently used Auto Transport 123 to move my vehicle across the country and was extremely disappointed and angered by the entire process. The following are the highlights of my discontent:

• The sales person who I worked with, Tara, assured me that my vehicle would arrive the day that I specified in order to have my car for the first day of a new job. Over and over, she promised that I’d have the car and to not look elsewhere when I brought up the option of cheaper carriers who assured timeliness within my deadline.

• There was very little communication the week prior to the pickup, nor during the actual transit. I tracked people down myself (reps, drivers, etc) which was tedious and not my job.

• The contract stated a $225 deposit at the time of pickup but my credit card was charged $275 just days after booking. Not ok.

• My vehicle was picked up 3 days later than the proposed date, at 10:30pm in the pitch black, making it challenging for a full inspection with the driver.

• Based on two previous bookings with this company, I (wrongly) assumed that my vehicle would be picked up and dropped off to me by the same driver. Instead, there was a stop at a major concourse in LA where my vehicle was unloaded and reloaded onto another truck. This caused a major delay and added an additional loading and unloading which I could not witness. Plus, I could not tip my original driver who did nothing wrong in this situation.

• My car was delivered 3 days later than the PROMISED date and was not even dropped in the city I had specified. I had to drive to another city altogether to pick it up (otherwise it was heading back to LA), pay for 3 days of car rentals and a change of location fee for my rental.

• The vehicle was damaged upon inspection. It now has a new dent and scratch on the roof, for which I filed a complaint but never back about reimbursement.

• Auto Transport 123 claims to be a family run business with high standards but I can confidently say that they do not uphold ethical practices and are merely look for a profit, latching you in with a promise to deliver.

Review: I was contacted by a broker/salesman regarding a boat haul from Belle Chase LA to Brenham TX. His name I will not say here. I specifically stated that I was in the process of buying a boat and until the loan went through, I could not give a definite date of a pick-up due to non-ownership of the boat. That being said, I told him at the absolute earliest would be May *, 2016, but that was all tentative due to other paperwork. He kept pressuring me to sign the contract and give my credit card information after I repeatedly told him I didn't feel comfortable giving that out when I didn't even know when or if the sale would be final. He assured me that in no way was my credit card to be charged until the boat was picked up. He specifically said that the card would be charged the initial $223 when it was "hooked up", and the remainder would be paid for upon delivery. In which I was relieved because as it turns out, I can haul the boat myself. However today I was called by a hauler that wanted to know where the boat was, and wanted to pick it up. I never called back with the boat location, or the previous owners information. But he went ahead and scheduled a pick up.??? I still do not even own it. This puzzled me, and I called to cancel as I was instructed to do. I was told the $223 was "non-refundable". This after I was reassured over the phone by the salesman several times that I was able to cancel at any time and my card would not be charged. I have never had to deal with such perjury before this.Desired Settlement: Refund Make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Review: Company was dishonest and told no cancellation fees. Pressured to sign contract inconsistent with verbal sales presentation, resulting In hidden fees

Placed a request for quotes, contacted by Company. Used high pressure sales tactics. Discussed cancellation fee with company several times and was told there was NO fee If they had not dispatched transporter, Signed contract when was pressured bellevlng that it was consistent with discussion. Called to cancel service less than 1hour later after reading concerning posts on Revdex.com. Was "transferred" to a number of people all who tried to convlnc\; me to stay, refusing to cancel reservation. When we stood firm on the cancellation, they Informed us that we would be charged a $100 fee. They stated that It was In the signed contract. When Istated that that was not consistent with what Ihad been told, they told me to read the contract. They kept talking about an "owner" who did not want me to cancel all stalling me while they charged my credit card this fee. When Iasked td speak to this "owner", "he wasn't available."Desired Settlement: I would like this hidden $100 reservation fee refunded. When Iplaced the order I

asked about cancellation fees and told there were none.

Review: Before shipping vehicle - never responded to my calls for picking up confirmation. Never answered my voicemails.

When in touch, they lied and gave misinformation. Said my car would be picked up and I waited all day for them and car was never picked up.

I wanted to get my deposit and ship with a different company back but they refused so I stayed with them. A so called manger was very rude and loud to me. I am still very intimated by him right now after being yelled at over the phone each time I spoke with him.

I missed two calls from him and called back ASAP and he used it against/speak over me each time I tried to tell him of my concern. It's very messed up and you shouldn't treat people that way. I couldn't even speak and got yelled at each time by him.

After car was picked up, it was supposed to be delivered in 7-10 days. I called many numbers, including those on receipt, to find out the approximate delivery date. I never received a call back.

Finally on 5/**,I spoke with ONE person after many calls and she said she would get back to me. She didn't.

I called again today before this form to speak with someone to find out what happened, why they never got back to me, when is the delivery date, and the lady responded with the "I will get back to you" that I heard many times before. I said that I will contact the Revdex.com if she doesn't get back to me "within the next hour" but I decided to file this complaint nonetheless due to the terrible interactions I've had with the [redacted], and the difficult experience I've been having in meerly reaching the driver/representative.

Also, they have caller ID hence when I was contacting them in regard to shipping, the calls would get picked up by the [redacted].

I am scared. I was forced to stay in business with them due to fine print of "48 hour window" (when they verbally confirmed for 5/*/14 for pick up) so I was told I won't be getting my 200 dollars back and I'm afraid to call in that I might reach that verbally abusive "[redacted]" again. If he's the [redacted], what can I do?

Please let other consumers know so they could avoid this horrible horrible ordeal that I went through and have not yet completed.

PS I have items in the car that I needed and was charged extra for - but the fact they refused to let me know what's going on had really affected my plans, life, and move (missing my flight, missing my interview, I could've planned ahead if they didn't lie and had me waiting for a pickup that never happened!). It is unreasonable.

I had to change my move date and as a courteous person, I had let them know ahead of time and as soon as I found out.

As a business, it is the least they could've done to keep me updated!Desired Settlement: I'd like to know the status and have my vehicle shipped as soon as possible!

Please let other consumers know!

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]

I have finally received my car on Thursday the [redacted]. My cruise control button (that you press in to start) is broken. It's been pulled out of the switch. I don't know how it could have happened aside from it being yanked (?) out by someone who isn't familiar with the car forcefully.

There is no proof on my end as I did not take pictures of my car with date beforehand.

The car sat in whatever lot for a week and I don't even want to know what happened.

I'd like to close the complaint; however, I want to say that this stressful and unnecessarily difficult ordeal is due to the auto shipping industry having all the power over the consumers - it definitely lets them get away with many things and take advantage of those looking for service. Good luck to others and be very careful of fine print!

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Review: Dear Revdex.com,

On 12/**/13 I called Auto Transport 123 to get a quote for a vehicle pick up and transportation from NY to CA. I talked to [redacted] : ###-###-#### - [redacted].

Before closing the deal I have asked [redacted] : "What happened if I decide to cancel the transportation ?". [redacted] told me that I will never been charged if the cancellation is made before the service is done.

On 12/**/13 something happened and I decided I won't be needed the car picked-up and shipped to CA.

On 12/**/13 I called Auto Transport 123 to cancel the transaction. The lady I talked to in finance told me she noted and acknowledged my request and my service order was canceled. On 12/**/13 to the 100% sure I sent an email to [redacted] ([redacted]) saying I will need to cancel the service. I never received a reply from [redacted].

Then the nightmare with Auto Transportation 123 started. My credit card got charged $100.00 on 12/**.

On 12/**/13 I received a phone call from the dispatched truck that was suppose to pick up my car from the dealership lot. I told the driver that the transaction got canceled on 12/**/13.

I called Auto Transport 123 on 12/**/13 to let them know what happened. They told me not to worry and everything got canceled.

I emailed [redacted] on 1/*/14 to ask him to get the $100 refund to my card. I didn't receive a reply. I called Auto Transportation 123 finance department and they told me they will get back to me. No call back

On 1/*/14 I received an email from Auto Transport 123 to tell me that the truck that will be carrying the car I didn't buy is ready to load my car within 24Hrs.

On 1/*/14 I emailed [redacted] to ask him why I received this email. I didn't receive any feedback from that [redacted]. I call Auto Transportation 123 and they told me not to worry about this and they will call me back to give me an update. I never received a follow-up call from them.

Then Auto Transport 123 charged and additional $115 to my credit card because the truck got dispatch and I didn't respect the contract.

Because I didn't got any news from Auto Transport 123 I called my credit card company to put a stop payment on my card for the $100 and $115 charge.

2 weeks later I received a letter from my credit card company with a note from the following Auto Transportation 123 : [redacted] ([redacted]). [redacted] told the credit card company that I never canceled anything.

I have on my computer all the email I sent to Auto Transport 123.

On 4/**/14 I called again Auto Transport 123 to try to get a refund. The lady from finance told me that someone will get back to me within 5 mns. I'm still waiting.

As you can see I did my best to receive a refund from this company.

Auto Transport 123 is run by crooks and liar.Desired Settlement: First of all I would like to receive an apology from Auto Transportation 123

Then I would like to receive $215.00 credited to my credit card

I would like to receive $300 settlement for the time I spent dealing with my credit card company, time wasted on the phone with Auto Transport 123.

Response:

I apologize for any situation which occurred if you were unhappy with the service provided to you... First of all just to be clear there is $100 cancellation fee to the order one way or another so I'm not quiet sure what exactly that statement means. Second of all I have the recorded call between you and [redacted] yesterday were he tried to rectify the situation for you and even offered a possible solution. The call ended by you stating you would think about it and reach back out to him today... I walk into my office and this complaint is lodged. Honestly I do not appreciate that I'd be happy to offer you a partial refund I will absolutley not be refunding more than we took not only is that absolutely crazy I'm offended that is what was requested. Just to be clear you stated you disputed the charge... If you disuputed what was the result of the dispute?

Review: I responded to an email from Auto Transport 123 on July **, 2013 in regards to transporting my son’s 1967 Mustang from North Carolina to Colorado. I called the company and spoke to [redacted]. I explained that I had just ended a contract with another company after they failed to pick up the car. At this point [redacted] was very helpful and proudly pointed out their longevity, endorsements and top ratings from various companies. I mentioned that my son is a [redacted] and has already [redacted] and needed the car moved quickly. He stated that they are a supporter of the Armed Forces and have done several transports for them and assured me that his car would be in good hands. On their web site I read the Terms & Conditions then e-signed the contract.

I was concerned when I did not receive a copy of the signed contract. I called again and spoke to [redacted] and requested a signed copy to be sent to me via email. He stated that he had sent a copy but their company doesn’t send signed copies for security of the credit card I used. The contract that I received reads differently that the one that they directed me to on their web site. My main concern was the $50.00 non refundable processing fee listed under the Terms & Conditions of the contract. The unsigned contract that they sent me stated a $100.00 non refundable processing fee. This is a classic bait & switch scam.

I decided to research the company through the Revdex.com and found many complaints filed against the company. I called the Revdex.com and spoke with a representative. She informed me that there had been 22 complaints this year registered against Auto Transport 123 for a variety of reasons and suggested that I reconsider the contract. She pointed out the following complaint listed on the Revdex.com site:

On April *, 2013, the Revdex.com raised concerns about this firm’s advertising on/in [redacted] and requested that this firm substantiate their claims regarding the following: "Top Rated Transport of 2013"; "world famous"; "If you book with a company that gave you too low a price, no truck will want to pick it up." As of April **, 2013, the business has responded and the case has been closed as modified.

I was shocked to see that the Revdex.com had requested that they remove this from their web site. The exact statements that [redacted] was boasting about were in fact still listed on the web site. This is a blatant misrepresentation of their services.

I immediately decided to cancel the contract. I sent a certified letter to them informing them of the cancelation under the provision listed in the contract that they sent me. It states: “If an order is canceled due to something out of Auto Transport 1231s control the reservation fee or $100.00 will be charged and either put on file or deemed non-refundable on a per situation basis.”

Their multiple misrepresentations were within their control and void this contract. I contacted my bank with this information and they recommended canceling my bankcard that I used and reissue a new card immediately.

I have since received emails and treating phone calls from this company for collections. [redacted] stated in his email to me that they have never spoken to the Revdex.com and must have AT 123 confused with another company called 123 Auto Transport which I researched and found that it lead back to Auto Transport 123Desired Settlement: I want the threatening phone calls, emails and collection proceedings to stop immediately. I also request a letter to be sent to me from Auto Transport 123 acknowledging the dissolution of the contract.

Review: This is not a shipping company. They are not professionals. I actually doubt they even ship cars. They must just get you in contract so they can charge you cash then never deliver on service. I urge you to NEVER EVER use these [redacted]. Read the reviews, they are real. Anything positive is likely someone paid off. As mentioned the review site they forward you to is a set up and not real. Here's my nightmare:

Order [redacted]

They were to pick up a car of mine in [redacted] at my residence, take it to the port, ship to Hawaii, then deliver to my new residence. It was a know non-op car.. classic collector's dream, a 1972 BMW "2002" round tail light model. I gave up everything I had here to move and help my dad start his first business. This was not just some car I threw money at either. I hunted for 10 years to find one. I put a year of work into it to rebuild. I scoured the world for hundreds of parts to rebuild her back to better than new. They had a week to pick it up until I moved, said "No problem, give us 1-3 days". A week went by, and I was forced to catch an already scheduled flight to HI. Now I'm not there, still no word, car is still sitting in CA. I call them to see what's up, and they have basically been sitting on their hands doing nothing because I was "mis-quoted". Why would you not tell me this?! Okay, originally quoted $1775, now they want $2050. I am SO desperate at this point I say okay just make it happen.

Another 3 business days (not even including the 2 weekend days tow drivers work regardless) goes by and still nothing. Now I am absolutely furious. After calling multiple times a day and speaking to 3 people, I finally get it picked up after 12 total days. Success? Of course not. Tow driver gets the car to port, they have not booked it properly, now they want $3600 plus. By the way the tow driver has been sitting on a 100+ degree parking lot for 3 hours while they refuse his calls or just hang up on him. He has no choice but to leave and store my car, as it's getting so much attention it's about to be stolen off the truck if he's not right next to it. On the phone they again just tell you what you want to hear, then do whatever the hell they please. They say "No problem, we'll work this out for you no matter what. We don't even want to make a dollar at this point, we just want it out of our hair".

What do they do while I am asleep? They go ahead and pay themselves in full, I suppose for a job well done... right? Now another $1650 gone from my bank account, a grand total of $2050. My car has not left 45 miles of my driveway even. They're not paying and will not pay the tow driver, so now he owns my car by law. Fees and storage are in my name now, even though they did this horribly botched deal, and he's going to lien sale my car in order to get the money THEY owe him.

Please, PLEASE, PLEEEASE make sure you and nobody you knows ever does ANY business with these [redacted]. Do me a favor and share this anywhere any everywhere you can. They stole my car and my dreams.Desired Settlement: To be fully and completely refunded 100% and for this business to be shut down so they cannot continue to lie and scam people out of their hard earned money and/or cause them to loose their vehicles.

Response:

In reference to complaint ID [redacted]:The money has been refunded, though the time and money invested in the vehicle itself can never be replaced. I have been forced to sell a dream car due to the ordeal, and every step of the way besides the refund was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. In all honesty after seeing their history of operations here it is my firm belief that they should be stripped of their business license and ability to operate in this field.

Sincerely,

Review: I contracted the company to deliver a truck from my daughter's home to my home. The company failed to give the transport driver the correct information about the truck. Also, when I talked to the company in the beginning I gave them the only dates my daughter would be available to the transport driver. the person I talked to on the phone told me my daughter would be called a few days before the driver was to arrive at her home. The driver called me and said he could not pick up the truck because of the lack of information about the truck. I called the company and was put on hold several times and told that I would be called when they got a new driver. I didn't receive a call until late in the day on the last day my daughter was available and said they would be able to pick up the truck in two hours. I had them call my daughter first to see if she was available. Unfortunately she was not on such short notice. The women she talked to was very nasty to her on the phone. At that point I cancelled the pick up. This was not the way for a company to do business. They said I would lose my reservation deposit. In no way have they handled this transaction correctly. I am still getting calls from transport companies that they are on their way to pick up the truck despite the fact that I cancelled. Since it could not be picked up with the promised prior notice and how rudely my daughter was treated I could no longer feel comfortable that my truck would be handled correctly. the drivers that called me were also not happy they were not told that the job had been cancelled. I feel this company should better train their employees on telephone etiquette.Desired Settlement: Refund credit card. I hope no one else has to go through an episode like I did with this company.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I gave the lady the dates in which the vehicle could be picked up. I mentioned that the date on the contract was in error, she said no problem she would note the correct first available date. When I cancelled the pick-up no one mentioned that the cancellation had to be in writing. the only response I got was the same one my daughter received and in the same rude manner. It seems there is a communication problem amongst the employees and with the customer. In no way was this transaction handled professionally. Because of the way in which I was treated, I feel both an apology and refund are warrented. I see no way further communication with this company will improve the situation.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
