Auto Transport 123 - Response 12/**/2014To Whom it May Concern:Please be advised Customer contacted our office on 12[redacted]/2014 at 12:50PM ET to Process Cancellation Fee of $100.00.A receipt was issued to the customers e-mail. At the time of the call, customer did not express any concerns with the Cancellation Policy. It was explained that there would be a one time cancellation fee in the amount of $100.00. I recently used Auto Transport 123 to move my vehicle across the country and was extremely disappointed and angered by the entire process. The following are the highlights of my discontent:

• The sales person who I worked with, Tara, assured me that my vehicle would arrive the day that I specified in order to have my car for the first day of a new job. Over and over, she promised that I’d have the car and to not look elsewhere when I brought up the option of cheaper carriers who assured timeliness within my deadline.
• There was very little communication the week prior to the pickup, nor during the actual transit. I tracked people down myself (reps, drivers, etc) which was tedious and not my job.
• The contract stated a $225 deposit at the time of pickup but my credit card was charged $275 just days after booking. Not ok.
• My vehicle was picked up 3 days later than the proposed date, at 10:30pm in the pitch black, making it challenging for a full inspection with the driver.
• Based on two previous bookings with this company, I (wrongly) assumed that my vehicle would be picked up and dropped off to me by the same driver. Instead, there was a stop at a major concourse in LA where my vehicle was unloaded and reloaded onto another truck. This caused a major delay and added an additional loading and unloading which I could not witness. Plus, I could not tip my original driver who did nothing wrong in this situation.
• My car was delivered 3 days later than the PROMISED date and was not even dropped in the city I had specified. I had to drive to another city altogether to pick it up (otherwise it was heading back to LA), pay for 3 days of car rentals and a change of location fee for my rental.
• The vehicle was damaged upon inspection. It now has a new dent and scratch on the roof, for which I filed a complaint but never back about reimbursement.
• Auto Transport 123 claims to be a family run business with high standards but I can confidently say that they do not uphold ethical practices and are merely look for a profit, latching you in with a promise to deliver.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Auto Transport 123 regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The business asked for more information and receipts which I provided.  Since then, I have not been contacted or received any communication.

This company claims to own drivers, and they do not. They are just another broker, and they cannot help you anymore than the rest of these brokers. They give you a time in which your car will be picked up, and unfortunately, they do not follow through. They are crooks and thieves. My car was picked up three days late (I chose them because I believed them) and was thus, delivered late. Stay away from these crooks.

To Whom it May Concern-I am writing in reference to the complaint received by the customer. I do apologize that this was not previously rectified and I’d be more than happy to assist. Due to the fact we do have a signed contract on file to previously move 2014 Ford Focus  from...

Never use this company. I have never had such a terrible experience with anyone in my life. This company completely screws you over and maybe you need a lawyer before saying yes to using them because of all the fine print. If you want to be taken advantage of? Use this company. Want to have a customer service rep berate you? Use this company. Want to be left carless in fl? Use this company. I am telling everyone I know about this poor experience and lack of professionalism. I hope this review can save someone for the same issue I have experienced.

They are the worse company I ever dealt with. They lie about all their pick-up times, never call you back. After over two weeks of lies and no auto pick-up, they charged us $!50 for breaking the contract. If I rated them, it would be high in the negative numbers.

 The communication is a huge part for a company and a client. I have proof of calls and I spoke with many people that couldn't not tell me where my car was. I then spoke with a [redacted] which was also very rude. Just recently started calling me. Where was this the whole time my car was being shipped? This company needs to remove their 5 star from their website because it's not even close to that. I did speak with a [redacted] but not even him could let me know where my car was. The company told me there would be 7-10 business days it was picked up 05/**/14 and delivered 06/*/14. That's a totally of 15 days which was technically 3 days past due including a give or take a few days. I'm upset because no one could let me know when it was going to bedelivered. I've never had a problem with any other company in my life and again this was my first time ever shipping a vehicle and it will be my last.

In response to the customer's complaint - I would like to specify the following information:
10/**/15 9:19 am - Customer placed order in our office to Transport 2013 Chevrolet Cruze from ID to AL.
Customer called 11/**/15 5:31 pm - s/w sales...

representative called to tell me just now that he is going to drive it. I told him I'd have customer service do a cancellation with him.Customer did not follow direction of speaking with customer service, customer did not send a letter Registered Mail - Customer was dispatched, and scheduled with a driver for pick up as we never received a formal cancellation from customer.
Customer also supplied us with an invalid/declined credit card to secure reservation. I am supplying the Cancellation Policy below, as provided back in October, 2015 prior to signing, and supplying credit card.

Terms and Conditions for your reference: By signing this contractual agreement I hereby agree as the “customer” to accept the service which Auto Transport 123 provides. By signing you accept responsibility that you are the registered legal owner of the vehicle(s) and have authority to enter into this agreement with a valid working credit card, Otherwise you have been authorized by the legal owner of the vehicles(s) to enter into this agreement. I will pay Auto Transport 123 the reservation fee for the services agreed to herein so they are able to reserve a spot on a carrier. Your reservation will not be charged until the vehicle is dispatched to our carrier. I further understand that the “Balance Due” as described herein is the balance that must be paid in full by money order, cashier check, or cash at the time of delivery to the authorized transporter. There will be times when your reservation fee may vary which will be dependent on the carrier we choose to dispatch too. In the event this may happen the total price quoted will NEVER change. All orders must be canceled in writing and delivered by U.S. registered, or certified mail return receipt requested by Auto Transport 123. Reservations are fully refundable at any time if we do not perform our services after 10 business days. If your vehicle has been dispatched and it was cancelled, your reservation fee will be charged in full. The Cancellation of any overseas contract will be charged their full reservation fee due to port filing fees. I further understand that there may be times that we may have to broker out service to a certified, fully insured carrier. In that event we will not be responsible for any negligence on the part of the actual transporter for these routes. Fuel surcharge may vary in certain areas if a pickup or delivery location is adjusted. If an order is canceled due to something out of Auto Transport 123's control the reservation fee or $100 will be charged and either put on file or be deemed non refundable on a as per situation basis. By signing this agreement you agree to pay Auto Transport 123 the price quoted in contract. You also agree not to charge back a credit card payment to offset any disputes of damage claims or for any other reasons. Any cancellations which are listed/posted on competitors load boards within 3 business days will be voided and deemed nonrefundable for the full reservation fee. If the major credit card put on file is declined at the time of billing it is possible there will be additional processing fees allocated to the order. If paid in full on major credit card there will be additional processing fees determined at the time of placing the order. If an order is taken as a Bill in Full it is not disputable at any time. All pickup and delivery dates and times are only estimates. Auto Transport 123 will not be held responsible for any natural disasters, acts of Mother Nature, or any other incidents out of our control. If we have offered a weight allowance it is for no more than 100 Lbs of additional weight in the backseat or trunk. I further understand that this agreement is of no force and will be put into effect when I affix my signature below.

now that 10 days of contract are over we told you , we would refund you... There was absolutely no reason for this.  The money was refunded a few minutes ago.  Now you just cost us a Revdex.com complaint for no reason when we have spoken to you every day of your order.

 We have e mails from [redacted] that state otherwise. He states that he needed to be provided a down payment, vehicle and driver informstion. I talked to your company's supervisor yesterday, who promised she would send the contract my husband signed, and still has yet to do so. Just like your company has yet to contact our banking institution or us for that matter. Also, your terms and conditions page on your website does not mention a $400 reservation fee, and even states informstion is required before making a reservation. [redacted] neglected our email requesting cancelation and did not respond. He contacted us twice for the vehicle information and expressly states that he needs it in order to book. Yet, despite not having what your company requires per your website, you still felt the need to charge us money, even though there was no pick up date or anything.

for a delay in delivery to the port. Please keep in mind, these are Estimated Deliveries. If a carrier
has any kind of Mechanical failure unfortunately these are circumstances out of our control. We
did contact the carrier on your behalf requesting a discount due to the delay. We were
unsuccessful with obtaining a credit on your behalf.
Our records indicate that the vehicle was delivered in Long Beach, California on June [redacted], 2014
and arrived in Hawaii and was made available on July [redacted], 2014. The vehicle was collected from
the Port on July [redacted], 2014.
As a good faith effort we would like to offer a credit adjustment to your credit card on file in the
amount of $50.00 for any inconvenience this may have caused.

They will tell you whatever they have to, in order to get your credit card number. After you waist all your time on them trying to fulfilled the order, they will still charge your card.
They are the worse people I have dealt with in my life.

this customer was told numerous times that we would reschedule him a new driver which we did.  The customer refused to continue with our service.. I will do the right thing and refund the $50 to show only $100 as a cancellation fee.. Other than that I cannot believe this customer wrote a...

complaint considering he cancelled his order never properly send in the paperwork to do so and we had 2 drivers.  He refused to ship the car with us.

After excepting a bid from auto transporters 123 I was guaranteed that they would not hit my credit card prior to picking up my vehicle, They did not keep there word and "attempted" to charge my credit card prior to the vehicle pick up. They also mentioned that they were not a broker but family owned, come to find out there nothing but a broker. They guaranteed that I would be able to track my vehicle at any time while in route to be aware of its location, After many attempts of trying to locate my vehicle Auto transporters 123 or the company they hired to transport my vehicle were unaware of the location of my vehicle. I was promised prompt return phone calls concerning my request with no reply back what so ever from auto transporters 123 or the company they hired to transport my vehicle. I was lied to by Auto transporters 123 and there carrier, being told that the delivery was held up due to a snow storm in Virginia. After checking with the state police in Virginia the weather had been 100% clear with no snow or dangerous road conditions. Then I was lied to again by Auto transporters 123 and there carrier, Being told that the vehicle was being held up by a snow storm in Tennessee not Virginia, After checking with the state police in Tennessee there had been no reports what so ever of any snow or dangerous road conditions. Auto transporters 123 were very kind and helpful when it came to obtaining a new customer and were more than happy to give all kinds of promises to obtain a new customer and there credit card information. The driver of the truck was the only person kind enough to even take the time in contacting me once or twice with in 5 days it has taken to transport the vehicle. This has been a very dissatisfying experience to say the least.
