I am trying to trade in a leased vehicle early in order to get $5000+ in early turn in lease incentives I was told that the Auto-Check report came back with a reported accident My vehicle has had no accidents I filed the dispute with Auto-check They informed me that there was a police report of the accidentThey would not provide me with the name of the police department I asked why they couldn't just look up who made the report they are referencing and why that information is not included in the report so vehicle owners could dispute erroneous claims They said the people who report to them are protected from having their information released They said their data department would look the information up and contact the police department They didn't assure me they would fix it but could act as an intermediary in the processI don't understand how an individual/organization can make an erroneous report that adversely affects the value of my vehicle but I cannot see who

We verified with the auction house through our liaisons, that the
vehicle is listed in their system as being sold with the announcement due to
the damages previously mentioned in our initial response to the Revdex.com.
We understand that this has caused an inconvenience to the consumer,
but the auction will not allow us to remove their original announcement from
our reports. If the sales slip of the
vehicle from the auction that is reporting the announcement can be produced
that indicates no announcements, there might be a chance that the auction would
remove from their records. However, if
this cannot be produced, the only other option would be to obtain a laser
inspection on the vehicle and submit a dispute form that can be obtained from an
auction signing off on the no damage. An
event can then be added that says the announcement was disputed & no damage
was found, however, the original announcement will still remain on the report

We have thoroughly reviewed *** *** caseIt is important to note that AutoCheck receives information as is from our third party data sourcesWe are not informed of any
discrepancies upon receipt of the data until disputed by an individual or business entityIf deemed inaccurate, we remove the dataHowever, that is contingent upon supporting evidence from our data sources and contacts. After we further researched the accident record in question, we submitted to remove the accident/damage event and update the AutoCheck report to reflect "Cooling System Serviced"This update is now reflected on the Vehicle History Report

Ran an autocheck single report on a used vehicle I wanted to purchase and it showed as Clean and No accidents on Autocheck , but when ran into Carfax it showed as salvage title and total loss vehicle and this information is some of the most critical when buying a used vehicle , contacted Autocheck and would not issue any refund and states that there service is better then Carfax and things , would never recommend to anybody
Autocheck:
I inspected your account and found your subscriptionAlthough we acknowledge your dissatisfaction, at this time we are not able to process a refund as we did render the service by providing you with the report of the VIN you entered on our system
Autocheck:
We are a data repository company and we post information that is sent to is only by authorize sources
As explain before do to the fact that the account was used we will not provide any type of refund
DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THE SERVICE OR ANYTHING WITH THEM

I HAVE CALLED AND EMAILED SEVERAL TIMES ASKING TO CANCEL MY SERVICEMY SALES REP SAYS ACCOUNT SERVICES NEEDS TO CANCEL IT AND THEY TELL ME THAT HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN CANCEL ITI HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE RUNAROUND FOR THREE MONTHS WITH NO RESOLUTION

We purchased a one time auto check on a vehicle prior to buying privately With this auto check, we were informed that that there were no accidents reported on this vehicle We purchased this vehicle on the accuracy of Auto Check's report We are now finding out that the back bumper's paint is peeling away from the bumper and is not the original bumper but a cheap, off market part indicating an accident actually did occur with this vehicle We have been misled and feel AutoCheck is partially responsible for upholding misleading information with regards to our purchase It will cost us around 750-dollars to replace this bumper When contacting autocheck for help in regards to replacement (buy back guarantee insurance), they said they would not help us out due to the fact that they only support the legitimacy of title which they obtain from the DMV We could have done that ourselves - checking the title with the DMV I am questioning the value, the legitimacy and the integri

Autocheck inaccurately reported my vehicle as having three previous owners when I am the firstI called Autocheck and sent ownership documents and asked them to correct this information They didn't correct anything and had the nerve to tell me my car had owners after their "research"When documentation proves they are wrong yet nothing is changed then it's a scam STAY AWAY FROM AutoCheck for reliable information

Our records indicate that on 2/17/2015, the consumer had contacted our customer service department about the discrepancy on their report Case # *** was created and our notes show that the customer service agent the consumer spoke to was able to update the report with some information
from the consumerIf there is any further assistance the consumer needs, he can contact customer service at ###-###-#### M-F *am-7pm CST and reference Case# ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved

Few days back I went to a car dealership to trade in my current vehicle and they pulled a vehicle history for my car which showed a accident on the reportthe dealer refused to trade in my carAt this point I called up autocheck and reported this case of accident reportThey mentioned that they got this incident reported by state of Michigan and the rep gave me the state contact numberI called up sate police and they told me there are no incidents reported on my car or on meI have been following with autocheck to remove this report but they have still not done soBy the way carfax never showed any incident on my carSo, Autocheck is in the business id selling incorrect vehicle reportsThey must surely be missing real accidents on their reports just like they have reported a false/cooked up/fictions accident against my carMe, not being able to sell my car is a serious impediment on me and it has brought financial loss to meI not only deserve the ac

I am unable to get Autocheck to correct information about my vehicle

odometer problem, loan/lien and corrected title problem.auto check provided info and "branded" my title "not actual mileage" they did not contact stof MTwhich does not require mileage verification on vehicles years and older at time of registration which mine wascalled state DMV in Helena, they don't brand titles or enter mileage on title not required by ageif corrected title is issued it still wont show mileage...........a corrected title was issued because loan was paid off and lien holder removed but autocheck did not explain that, rather they implied my title had been tampered with and an additional lien was placed on my vehicle
dealer read autochecks report and our deal was offlost 10grand rebate because of autochecks report and now I'm stuck with a vehicle I can't sell or trade in
tried contacting them, if it takes more than minutes, when you hit send, can't find page comes up times in a row

Decided to check and see if Autocheck could do for usWent straight to the AUTOCHECK website and looked over the features and benefitsLiked what I sawAfter all, as long as history reports show accidents, title issues, service history, recalls, CPO data and other stuff that other vendors like CARFAX provide, it seemed like a great optionCalled the rep, told her explicitly that we are looking to switch from CARFAX to AUTOCHECK for our KIA, HYUNDAI and VW storeWent over the things that I need to see on reports and was reassured that it was thereSigned up on May On June I noticed that CPO info, service history and most importantly recall info was not showing up on any VW, KIA or HYUNDAI vehiclesTried to reach out to the rep that I dealt with only to find out that she is no longer thereFinally was able to get ahold of another rep who had no idea what I was talking about and that recall information is available on www.safercar.govI was stunnedI told her that I am bey

We have reviewed the
customer's compliant and can confirm that the event will not be removed from
the AutoCheck report based on the supporting documentation provided by the
consumerThe vehicle information is listed on record with the state agency as
having been involved in the accident in
question, in turn as a repository for
data, we will report what is on file with our sourcesAs long as the vehicle
is listed as involved, it will remain as part of the vehicle's history.
We have added
"no damage reported" based on the report which indicates
"no visible damage"
to the VIN in question.
If the reporting
source will provide documentation which clearly states this vehicle's
involvement in the accident in question, we will review further and respond
accordingly with next steps

The Autocheck Vehicle History Reports that are offered for free on the Kelly Blue Book Used Vehicle website do not provide a free vehicle report at allBoth Kelly Blue Book and Autocheck can reasonably be assumed to have guilty knowledge of this, but yet this practice continuesThis is in fact appears to be a blatant attempt to mislead consumers into using Autocheck under the guise of being allowed to conduct a free vehicle history inquiry, only to discover that the consumer is then requested to pay for the serviceIf the service is free, it's free - there should not be a fee of any kind for any service so deemed as "free." Autocheck has had a reasonable period of time to address any issues concerning it's website's functionality should it claim that this link to the "free" history report was inadvertently directed to one requiring payment for the same serviceThe decision to maintain this practice appears willful and is an inappropriate form of advertising and promotionIt is not an excuse to claim the mere identification of the vehicle by model and year was the "free" information - however limited the free information may be justified by Autocheck as having met their obligation to the consumerThe representation of the "free" service by Autocheck foreseeably leads consumers to believe they are obtaining the same detailed information as would be available to those who might pay for the same information elsewhere on Autocheck's websiteIf Autocheck wanted to provide limited data on the vehicle history reports to encourage consumers to purchase the higher cost but more detailed information, it need only provided a pertinent disclaimer affirming so

This company has the worst dealer customer service that I have ever dealt withThey are rude, constantly interrupt you as you are trying to explain a situation, and refuse to let you speak with managementWe had a truck the the auction entered the incorrect mileage and it was reflected on the reportWe called the auction and they confirmed that it was an error on their partThey sent a request to Auto Check to have it corrected and Auto Check customer service told us that they spoke to someone at the auction and was told that there was no request for the corrected mileageAfter multiple phone calls and research we finally got with someone at the corporate office and the issue got resolvedTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I purchased a report from AutoCheck on a new Hyundai Sonata that we purchased on Aug 31, in Utica, NY At that time, I noticed a Vermont inspection sticker on the windshield The salesman said it was a trade with a dealer in VT When we got the car home, there was paper work in it from a dealer in PA The mileage on the car at purchase was miles The autoCheck report only showed mileage of miles as of December 13, I have emailed them 09/02/and 09/06/asking for a complete report up until the current time I have not received any response I have tried several times to contact them by phone, but always getting a busy signal

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowAuto check refused to at least refund the $fee we paid for a report on our vehicle auto checkThey provided instead a "coupon" for another free auto check as if we find VALUE in their insufficient reports. What their company offers is NOT acceptable to me. Their coupon is a good as their backing and legitimacy of the information they provide their customers - Lacking integrity, value, accuracy and helpfulness . This offer is like offering a free coupon for a sandwich they once received food poisoning from. Furthermore, I take insult to the fact Auto Check believes we failed to do our part in thoroughly checking out the vehicle we purchased. We drove it and inspected the mechanics of the vehicle. WE depended on Auto Check and their reporting for "no accidents" to eliminate our need to check the "body work". They let us down and we were misled

Our car was in an accident It was not a total loss We have provided all documents stating it was not a total loss We have also corresponded with Experian and they written that they have verified the car is not a total loss However they are still reporting the car on their Autocheck website stating it does have title issues This has prevented us from being able to sell our car or even get an offer from dealerships to buy our car This matter has been going on for weeks now All we want is for them to clear how they are lusting the title on the report

As indicated prior, the source information the consumer is requesting will not be released due to proprietary agreementsAs the consumer points out, the AutoCheck report indicates no reported accidents, but the frame damage event is present and has been verifiedIt is important to keep in mind that not all accidents are reported to agenciesExperian contracts a variety of data sources, including exclusive auction sources, in order to capture as much data history as possibleThe consumer should contact whom they purchased the vehicle from for further dispute
