this company is a scammer they report damage to vehicles when I got a clean vin report from another company & it came back 100% cleanI listed my car for sale on cargurus & autocheck states that my vehicle has frame damagethis is bs

We have carefully reviewed the complaint and all previous
correspondence that took place with the consumer, the consumer’s insurance
company, our customer support representative, and our data source contact. Based off the information reviewed all
evidence of the
accident event in question point back to an identical VIN#
match in the police report as confirmed by our data source contact at the
Michigan State Police. The accident
report and the direct match to the VIN# of the consumer’s vehicle unfortunately
contradict what the consumer’s insurance company has told us. We have also sent a subsequent email directly
to the consumer’s insurance agent asking to provide additional specific
information related to the said vehicle to be involved in the accident disputed
along with any other documentation to shows opposite of what the Michigan State
Police have confirmed, however we have not received any response back from
them
Our contracted data source has confirmed multiple times that the VIN#
involved in the disputed accident matches the customer’s VIN#. In order to avoid a breach of terms in our contractual
agreements with our data provider, we will need documentation from the data
source advising us that the accident did not happen to the consumer’s vehicle

I am complaining about a 8/13/accident that was documented in errorI believe the date of this accident was duplicated from a 5/11/accident which was correctly reportedI discovered this when I was planning to sell my vehicle on Ebay and saw three accidents (two of which were accurate and minor accidents which were not my fault) under my Vehicle Identification NumberI need to remove the 8/13/accident that was documented in errorI really need to sell my car and having three accidents decreases the value of my car! (I am showing *** as the case number for the 5/11/accident which may have caused an duplication error reflecting the 8/13/date.) I asked them to please remove this ASAP as this error is partially responsible for decreasing the value of selling my van! I am paying insurance for two cars and would like to sell one ASAP!

I went to CarMax to have my Mini Countryman appraised and was informed that AutoCheck claims it was in an accident on 11/11/in Concord NC I have been the owner of the vehicle since Nov And it has never been in an accident I called the Concord Police department and they had no record of any accidents with my vehicleI spoke to Operator in the Communications department

While attempting to sell my vehicle a history was requested from AutoCheck An accident was listed on the reportThe accident was to have happened over hours away from my home in a city I had never traveled I attempted to dispute since the vehicle has never been in an accident, AutoCheck did a quick re-check to see if the information they had was correct, they stated the information was correct I made a minute phone call to the servicing police department for the area in which the accident was to have happened Within a minute call speaking with the police officer, I discovered, the vehicle that was in the accident was a different color and had business decals affixed on each sideNow I will have to take my vehicle to the police department, a hour round trip, to prove what Autocheck has listed on the report is NOT true It should be AutoChecks duty to ensure that ALL information listed on the report is in fact true AutoCheck reported it incorrectly, it should be their job to correct not mine I will lose a day of work and may lose out on selling my vehicle because of this inaccuracy

AutoCheck is contracted with various data sources to receive information from We compile the information received as is and display into our vehicle history reports and are not made aware of any inaccuracies or omissions as listed in our disclaimer According to our records, a customer
service representative had replied to an inquiry on 2/13/advising the consumer that additional information would be needed to remove the record that is being disputed The consumer, (or current registered owner) will need to contact the state of NY and advise them of the error We will need and update title or letter from NY showing the record was corrected in their systems before we can update our reports Our reports show that the state of NY has provided us with the scrapped / destroyed event dated 2/15/

I run a small independent car lot and we have used Autocheck for every car that we buy Recently, we purchased a car from an individual and pulled a Autocheck as part of our process to see the history of the car The Autocheck showed that the vehicle had 78,miles as of 12/12/and had a green check mark saying that your odometer checks out I purchased the car based on this information A customer that was immediately interested in the car pulled a *** on the vehicle to do his own due diligence The *** showed that the vehicle had 208,miles as of 08/07/ In fact, the *** showed seperate mileage recordings from 05/23/to 08/07/from 135,miles to miles The customer was diligent about having service to his vehicle at dealerships In fact, the mileage recordings were from different dealerships around the country when he traveled The *** also showed the mileage of 78,miles on 11/29/but with a big red warning th

Hi Revdex.com, I was spammed by this service numerous times with "Your subscription update from AutoCheck" advertising more subscriptions and a surveyI was deceived into thinking my subscription was not ending since nothing was stated about it ending within a day or twoI have never been spammed before about a subscription service without getting a "subscription update" notice in my email -a day or two before expiringI only ran reports out of and did not get a chance to print any of the reports that I wantedAfter my subscription expired, with no notice from their "Your subscription update from AutoCheck" spam mail, I have no access to anythingI called *** and was told sorry there was nothing they could doI want a refund if they are not willing to help a paying customer

AutoCheck's report on my car is inaccurate reducing the resale value and making it difficult to sell
Autocheck's report on my car includes an accident with airbag deployment that never happened My husband and I are the original and only owners of the car and the accident described in the report did not happen I have contacted Fairfax County Police Central Records, where the accident occurred according to AutoCheck's report, and there is no record of the case number indicated by AutoCheck or an accident involving my car's VIN number on the indicated day or any other day We would like the sell the car and cannot do so and get a fair price while this misinformation is in Autocheck's report

The site advertises free VIN checks online then when you put your van and I want you to pay for the report this is advertising

Thank you for your email regarding a complaint by Mr*** regarding Experian’s AutoCheck service for which the three dealerships he represents (Winn Volkswagen, Winn Kia, and Winn Hyundai) entered into one year services contracts on April 29, 2016. Experian has reviewed Mr***'s assertions and has confirmed that Mr*** has misrepresented his discussions with Experian’s representative, as he was expressly advised during telephone conversations that AutoCheck vehicle history reports do not incorporate certified pre-owned information for the three manufacturers. Mr*** raises an additional claim that Experian should have advised him that Experian vehicle history reports do not contain all service and recall data for every vehicle. Neither Experian nor any other commercial vehicle history report provider possess access to all potential vehicle history records applicable to all vehicles and clearly disclose this disclaimer on our respective sitesExperian disputes Mr***'s assertions but we will continue to have our Account Manager work directly with him to attempt to resolve this matter

Thank you for your patience while we further researched the accident records in questionWe have updated the AutoCheck report to reflect the information we obtained during our research
and confirmed through our data sourcesI have attached an updated Vehicle History Report for MsWitherell's records

I had to post a review, since their customer service was so dry and uncaring
Found an online coupon or a major coupons website, when I attempted to use it, I could not find a place on the site to enter the coupon code no biggie, I read the coupon fine print and it said that could enter it once you enter your payment infoSince I was using paypal, it took there where it said you can review your order before it is finalized! So accepted, and boom it charged me immediatelyI emailed customer service asking them to see if I can get a discount since I never got a chance to enter a coupon or review my orderI got an immediate reply that it would take "of 24-business hours" to get a response
Since I could not wait since I had to make a call on a car, I used it to run couple of scans on two carsTwo days later I received the following uncaring message
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------... /> Thank you for contacting Experian AutoCheck!
Unfortunately we do not offer coupons at this timeIf you acquired a coupon online from a third party I´m afraid it is not valid as we do not have any active promotion at the moment Although we acknowledge your dissatisfaction, at this time we are not able to process a refund as we did render the service by providing you with reports already
Thank you for your understanding
Please let me know if you need anything else as it is always a pleasureBear in mind our turnaround time is of 24-business hours
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------... /> So basically they didn't even make an attempt to understand the question as I did not ask for a refund ,but a discount, then they didn't make an attempt to do anything to make you feel as a valued customer, by offering anything back to the customer
Maybe the rational is since you're not a car dealer (i.e a repeat customer) then they don't feel they have to do anything since by the time you need to come back to the service you would have forgotten about the poor customer service
Just be aware

My previously owned vehicle VIN # has incorrect information being filed on the auto check reportThey have failed to correct the informationThe source of their data seems to be an "unknown" sourceI have had several encounters in which I have been told conflicting informationSome conversations they told me they do not deal with the DMV directly, and use some type of data base to obtain information on VIN #
The source of their data does not appear to be reliableThey also told me DMV would not release information to them during one conversation and therefore may not be able to correct the errorAnother conversation they stated they obtain their information directly from DMV
I have made several calls to DMV and verified there were no mistakes or errors on the vehicles VIN#The auto check report is saying my vehicle was "scrapped and destroyed" in in the state of ***My vehicle was not physically in *** at this time, the state of *** DMV also reports not h

This is the worst place to take your vehicleCustomer service is bad and they don't care about people I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place

Autocheck was used to verify the integrity of a vehicle I recently purchasedThe information provided was incorrect and because of this I paid full price for a vehicle that had been previously damaged by an accidentThe Autocheck report indicated that my vehicle I was purchasing had never been in an accident therefore I bought the vehicle at said priceIf Autocheck had done it research properly the accident would have been indicated in the reportI would have been able to make a properly educated decision about eh purchase of the car

We acknowledge the consumers dissatisfaction with the report, but as services were rendered and multiple reports were accessed which provided valuable data, we are unable to issue a refund at this time.As a repository for data, the information found on the AutoCheck report is what is
available from our sources at that timeWe contract with various data sources in order to obtain as much information as possible on used vehiclesIt is the contracted data source that provides us with this information which can be current or historicalAt this time, the information published to the report you are viewing is all that is available in real time.We have submitted for further verification regarding the number of owners for VIN *** and will let the consumer know once we have further information. We encourage the consumer to take the time to review our terms and conditions for further information: http://www.autocheck.com/vehiclehistory/autocheck/en/termsOfUse

Autocheck has caused my vehicle to show that in a recent MVA (9-15-2016) my airbag deployedNeither the ** State Patrol Officer, the *** *** ***, nor the *** *** *** state that the airbag deployedEfforts have been made to correct this problem directly through my insurance carrier, *** *--Suprvsr Claims Adjustors
The car's value due to the specious airbag deploy has decreased at least $5,

AutoCheck has been the worst company I have ever had to deal withThis company should be embarrassed by the lack of professionalism they have with their customers
My case is regarding an inaccurate data record mentioned on their reportWhile I recognize the title was filed incorrectly and they were reporting what was reported to themHowever fixing the issue should not have been as difficult as they made it, especially after all necessary parties filed the correct paperwork and updated all records
Another company in the same industry as AutoCheck provided to hassles and after a claimed was file they conducted an investigation and updated their records accordingly keeping me well informed though the process and provided me a updated report that reflected the changes
AutoCheck was not responsive and unwilling to provide any kind of support in getting the matter resolvedAny communication had to be initiated by meAny communication that was notes were only internal and I did not receive them via Email when any update to my case was made
Also AutoCheck was unwilling to let me talk to any kind of manager, supervisor, or lead regarding the matterThis I have never heard of this at any company when someone is requesting to talk to a Manager or someone in chargeI did have one person say that one will call me back in minutes but that call never happenedThe quality of service at this company was extremely poor and I was unable to express that to anyone in a leadership role at this company
The end result is that they updated their records after an extensive and tiresome process by my bank, the state, and myself
I now have to pay for a report from Autocheck to confirm that all areas of their report have been addressed as I was told "Unfortunately we do not offer free reports, but you can purchase it online."
