*** Vin number reported with an air bag deployment costing $10k on trade in appraisal at *** *** **This air bag deployment never occurred and autocheck is committing fraud

AutoCheck.com is providing inaccurate information on property that I own When I attempted to contact them to explain that my property is in my possession and has been for the last years, and that they are reporting it as stolen in spite that the national police registry, CARFAX, my yearly registration and Title all show the vehicle in question to be recovered and in the possession of the proper owner, me This has become an issue of identity theft and their business is reporting lies about me and my property and refusing to correct them

In response to *** *** continued concerns, we would like to clarify that we are willing to continue our efforts to assist himHowever, after multiple email exchanges between September and September 13, 2016, we did not receive the requested documentation and our response to the Revdex.com became overdue. We are more than happy to review this matter further once *** *** provides us with the required documentationAs a reminder, in order for us to research the dispute further, either *** *** or the responding Police Officer will need to provide the documentation listed in our previous responseThey may do so by emailing it to me directly at *** or by faxing it to me at ***

We have
conducted a thorough research on the event in question and have concluded, that
we are unable to verify first hand with the reporting source the accuracy of
the "Fire Damage" record in question and have therefore removed
the notation of "Fire Damage" from the report A
member of our customer service team has also responded directly to the customer with this same information

I subscribed to this service as I am about to buy a used car on Cargurus The first accident report said "left side damage, multiple airbags deployed"This doesn't say much I emailed them in one day asking for a refund, no responseNext car accident report said "car towed", nothing elseThat could be flat tires or car totaledI called their customer service number 1-800-822-and it makes a squeeling noise and their live chat is inoperable

The site advertises free VIN checks online then when you put your van and I want you to pay for the report this is advertising

I purchased a vehicle based on Autocheck history report showing no accident historyI found that the vehicle was involved in an accident
I contacted the company to request a refund and they refuse to issue a refund because they say services were rendered which provided as they called "valuable data"
Their data was completely useless for me because I have a vehicle that is not covered under warranty based on their useless report
I found a free website (vehiclehistory.com) which uses the same data sources as Autocheck and they found that the vehicle was sold in a salvage auction with damage on the left side

I listed my vehicle on eBayThe listing includes an Autocheck report for prospective buyers to viewAutocheck inaccurately reported my vehicle as having three previous owners when, in fact, it has only had twoI emailed Autocheck and asked if they would correct this informationI received the following response
"We have sent this for confirmation and it has been confirmed that there were owners on this vehicleAs such it will remain on the AutoCheck as part of the vehicle's history."
I called them and explained the error again and told them I had full documentation to support the ownership history of my vehicleI was told by their representative they did not want proof of the vehicles history and under no circumstances would they change the reportVery rude treatment by this company accompanied by inaccurate informationBuyer beware

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. Autocheck has refunded the full amount and I consider this complaint resolved

I had an issue with the title of my car, and had to have a correction so that the title would not be "branded" with an odometer discrepancyI filed all the paperwork with the state and was issued a new, clean titleWhen I went to sell the car, AutoCheck showed that there was an odometer rollback due to the erroneous titleAfter reading reviews on the internet, I was freaking out that I was going to be treated badly and never get the issue fixed
I supplied a copy of the new title to AutoCheck, called them, and they are fixing the error todaySo, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy my experience wasDon't give up hope, I wanted to sell my car and was crushed when there was an issue, but follow the procedures, send in your documentation and it just might not be that bad!

We received an auto check report on our vehicle with many errors of which will affect us financiallyIncorrect information was reported evidently and we are concerned this is common practice for this company due to what we have been readingThey report that we had an accident with our vehicle (which we never have) and also they have incomplete service reports (it stops in 2014) which we religiously have taken our vehicle to our dealership for oil changes etcAs senior citizens we are wondering if this practice is for this company

My car was purchased from the local Nissan dealership at Pearson Nissan, the dealership took carvin on trade they are not a owner of car in owing since more like inventory I am trying to sell my car and I am second owner who has own and use vehicle auto check is going to hurt my chances of selling making the car looks like individual owner used drove and service the car the dealership should not count in a selling aspect

I am currently attempting to sell my vehicle online and it passed with flying colors on a *** report and from running the VIN with the Pennsylvania Department of TransportationAdditionally, my vehicle has undergone extensive inspections, reviews, evaluations, and certifications from various technicians and professionals in the autobody and mechanical industry, with well over years of total combined experience with inspecting and certifying vehicles and pointing out or addressing issues
Currently, they are hurting and damaging the value, reputation, and sale of my vehicle by reporting 'FRAME DAMAGE' when the vehicle is straight, no damage, accidents, or issues ever on record whatsoeverThe vehicle has clean titles, all parts are original from the factory and genuine inspected as original and undamagedNothing is out of place, the paint is immaculate, and a combined three different autobody specialists and four different mechanics have all certified there is no damage

We have reviewed *** *** AutoCheck complaint and apologize for any inconveniences causedWe will continue to work internally with the sales agent to ensure a thorough explanation of our terms is given and customer satisfaction is achieved from all our customersWe have waived the
contracted month term and suspended *** *** AutoCheck subscription as of todayNo fees will be charged to *** *** for AutoCheck services

I was considering a used-car purchase I purchased a report from AutoCheck The report showed no damage history and a clean title From free sources on the Internet, I ultimately determined that the car had in fact been in a hecollision, had been junked, had been rebuilt and given a salvage title I have asked repeatedly for my money back from AutoCheck, and I have never received a single reply Based upon my experience, I would never use their "service" again

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I listed my van for sale on ***, and *** and
AutoCheck attached this report to my listingI did not request an AutoCheck
report, I was not a party to the contract that *** and AutoCheck have with each otherI
was not given the opportunity to opt out of having the report attached to my
listingI did not at any time purchase a report from AutoCheck's websiteThis means also that I never agreed to nor was I asked to agree to
AutoCheck’s user agreement in which they claim they are not responsible for
errors and that their data comes from sources they “believe” to be reliable
2.AutoCheck claims that
"The selling party at that time, would have been informed that an
announcement of frame damage due to the alterations on the frame, would have to
be reported prior to moving forward with a sale. The buying party would have also been
informed of the announcement."
This is clearly false, as the auction house that made the report reported this van for sale on six different occasions, and only reported the frame damage twiceThe last time the van was put up for auction and sold there was no report of frame damageSpecifically:
On November 14th an Auto Auction House
reported this van for sale with NO REPORT OF FRAME DAMAGE
On November the same Auction House reported this van
for sale with NO REPORT OF FRAME DAMAGE
On November the same Auction House reported this van
for sale with a report of frame damage
On December the same Auction House reported this van
for sale with a report of frame damage
On July the same Auction House reported this van for
sale with NO REPORT OF FRAME DAMAGE
On September the same Auction House reported this
van for sale with NO REPORT OF FRAME DAMAGE
Since AutoCheck admits the lift installation was done by the *** *** and meets all required standards, if they insist that this qualifies as frame damage they must identify each and every *** equipped van in the U.Sas having frame damageAutoCheck reports are used by buyers to determine the value of a car they are considering purchasing, and these erroneous reports of frame damage mean any disabled person with a van will be unable to get full value for their vehicle if they try to sell itThis in my opinion amounts to "Disparate Impact" discrimination based on AutoCheck's policiesFurthermore, AutoCheck's and ***'s knowingly providing information to potential customers, now that they have the facts, amounts to "Interference with a Contract."
If AutoCheck is unwilling to do the right thing, I will begin contacting other organizations, such as *** *** ***, The American Disability *** and anyone else that I can contact
Regards,
*** ***

I honestly not sure how Revdex.com give them A- rating when 86% of customer reviews are negativeI ordered a report through AutoCheck and have a dispute on the findings Emailed support via their own portal and got NO response Tried to use their chat portal Never worksI personally think it's a fake icon to fool people they have live chat Looks like other people also complained about this site and livechat portal Looks like a scamstay away!!!
