Frustrating company to deal withEven though the personnel there seem nice and friendly, the system is designed to do as little as possible unless pushed very hard to do the proper thingFacts didnt seem to matter and the customer being inconvenienced had no bearing on their actions to resolve THEIR mistakesWas lied to by one associate, dont know if it was on purpose or just ignoranceA matter that lingered for days wasnt resolved until a very stern call was made to the companyIt resolved within minutes of the unpleasant callTotally unnecessary hassle

I listed my vehicle on eBayThe listing includes an Autocheck report for prospective buyers to viewAutocheck inaccurately reported my vehicle as having three previous owners when, in fact, it has only had twoI emailed Autocheck and asked if they would correct this informationI received the following response "We have sent this for confirmation and it has been confirmed that there were owners on this vehicleAs such it will remain on the AutoCheck as part of the vehicle's history." I called them and explained the error again and told them I had full documentation to support the ownership history of my vehicleI was told by their representative they did not want proof of the vehicles history and under no circumstances would they change the reportVery rude treatment by this company accompanied by inaccurate informationBuyer beware

In order to properly research this matter and respond to this complaint, I would ask the complainant to provide the VIN # of the vehicle in questionOnce I receive this information, I will thoroughly research the complainant's concern and respondThank you!

Auto check never update when a car has being stolen and recovered from an insurance company Auto check needs to removed the salvage history due to a claim After the car has being recovered and sold with clean title Theft history Car fax always removes and update the car history with no problem Auto check keep saying I must contact the insurance company It seems like auto check does not understand that the car has being recovered and now was sold at the auction with clean title ( theft recovered ) Auto check needs to do the same as Car fax

The consumer is referring to the Accident Check count which shows a count of accidents, then a more detailed Accident Check section shows the event date and indicates the following information "Reported accidents or damage events are a result of vehicle collisions or other non-collision incidents"Within the Detailed Vehicle History section of the AutoCheck report, the event in question is listed as "Accident or Vehicle Damage Reported: Non-Collision", which aligns with the customer's explanation that the vehicle was damaged, but not in a collisionThe event is being displayed as reported by the source, and as it aligns with the customer's explanation of the incident, the event will remain as listed

Autocheck has my car listed as being in an accident VIN: [redacted] where my car was never in an accident The car was in for a Cooling System issue during the date where its listed as "minor accident" and got a new radiator for a "Cooling system concern" from a [redacted] Dealership in [redacted] *** The Radiator got a pebble in it and started leaking The car was never hit (by anything), nor visually damaged, and was not painted It simply needed a new radiator because of a cooling system issue which got done under warrantee [redacted] paid for the repair and the insurance company paid for a part of it as it was suspected the pebble put the ding into the radiator (upon further inspection the pebble was never found) When I called AutoCheck they refused to get rid of the "Minor Accident" wording for a mechanical repair (as documented in dealer paperwork) As a result I am being offered $dollars less at trade in due to the mis-information by the Autocheck "source" They also clai

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below It's obvious that neither Experian or myself are going to budgeIf you want to carry things further, please doIf not place me in the totally dissatisfied column dealing with Experian and so note in your reports Thank you for providing an avenue for me to vent, [redacted] Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] HelloI was offered a free report on one vehicle, and was sent a code to use However, the code did not work, and it took me close to hours of attempts and then assistance to get the reportThis was not helpful And then what? The report is worthless More of the sameIf I had paid, I would be seeking a refundThey did waste my time It was supposed to have accident reports Well, it said there was one accident, but nothing at all about it It just wrote: Accident record(s) reported through accident data sourcesLater it wrote: 06/21/ [redacted] State Agency ACCIDENT REPORTED ( [redacted] *: [redacted] )---It gave no information about the accident, the extent, etcIn fact, I already knew about accidents, but no detailsTo make matters worse, it offered a way too high rating, despite that the vehicle is damaged, one bumper sticks out, and the interior worn, etc They are not offering a service for which they should be charging They give virtually no information, and not what they are advertising, not what a consumer expects to get on purchasing the reportIn short, it is all a scamI request that Experian completely drop this non-service, or get completely out of the "credit reporting" business due to bad ethicsThank you

I ordered a vehicle report for a vehicle I was interested in buyingThe report rated the car a '90' out of 100, and at the top of the report indicated it had only one owner in its historyThe report also stated that there was "no negative title or other problems" and that there was "No insurance loss or probable total loss record." In another part of the report, an accident was reported, with airbag deployment and subsequent transfer of ownership of the vehicle to an insurance company, and issuance of a new titleThat would seem to be a total loss situation and also shows that there would be at least three owners at this point-the original owner, the insurance company and the current owner It is impossible for all of these things to be true at once, and so, the report is worthless to me because I have no way to tell which parts are accurate and which are not I sent multiple requests for clarification through the "Contact Us" section of the website, and requested a refu

We have reviewed the case details and consumer’s concerns regarding the Auction Announced Frame Damage record showing on AutoCheck After careful review and consideration, we have concluded that we will not be able to remove the record because the data source that provided us the information confirmed the announcement at the time of sale in their systems back in The selling party at that time, would have been informed that an announcement of frame damage due to the alterations on the frame, would have to be reported prior to moving forward with a sale The buying party would have also been informed of the announcement AutoCheck has no reason to doubt that the modifications done to the vehicle’s frame to accommodate a wheelchair lift were in compliance and performed by qualified professionals However, the auctions that report the information to AutoCheck follow their own specific guidelines for what constitutes as frame damage in their line of business In most cases, this would be the result of any type of damage, modification, welds, etc., that impact the vehicle’s originally manufactured frame specifications / measurements At this point, we recommend that the consumer present supporting documentation to any of the buying parties that might be interested in purchasing their vehicle that explains exactly what has been done For more information on AutoCheck’s Term’s & Conditions, please visit: [redacted]

The AutoCheck score did not change because the car was titled in another state, rather a title with a negative remark was provided to us from the state of WI Our AutoCheck score, in short, is a rating summarizing the list of report data contained within our vehicle history reports More information on our AutoCheck Score can be found here: http://www.autocheck.com/consumers/content/autocheck-score.do We have also taken the liberty to contact the WI DMV to try and verify the record In speaking with one of their agent’s, they informed us that the when the consumer re-titled the vehicle in WI, they had the vehicle marked with a Manufacturer Buyback record We have contractual agreements with our data sources in which we are not allowed to remove information without supporting documentation from the data source that supplied us the record Since the state is verifying this Manufacturer Buyback record to be in there system, the current owner will need to work with the WI DMV to correct this For the consumer’s convenience, we have attached a copy of the most current vehicle history report For information on AutoCheck’s terms and conditions, please visit: http://www.autocheck.com/consumers/disclaimer.do To reach our customer service team, please contact [email protected], or call toll free M-F, 8am-7pm CST., 888-409-
