I had purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator in July with the extended warranty; the refrigerator went out on 01/16/ I have contacted Badcock and [redacted] to start the repair process A serviceman came to my home on different occasions, the last time he visited was 02/24/2017-notice the dates 01/16/17-02/24/approximately weeks and no resolution Finally after several phone calls we received a credit for the store Due to the horrible service received; we asked to apply the credit given to our balance account We were told that could not be done, we would have to get a refrigerator and return the old one If we did get a refrigerator from Badcock they were going to charge $119.XX delivery fee; out home is less than five miles from the store I just cannot fathom how much a store can have so much "control" over your purchase and they are going to get you anyway they can Even [redacted] has in the contract you will be reimbursed for food loss up to $ We lo

Delivery crew damaged door while bringing in furniture On 3/5/ I purchased a sofa, chair, ottaman and piece dining set, sales order # [redacted] We paid for delivery for 3/17/When the said items were delivered, there was some damage to one of the sofa arms there was also a stripped bolt in one of the dining chairs.We called the store where we made the purchaseLocated at cortez BlvdBrooksville, Flwith our concerns at that time the store stated they would replace damaged itemsExchange ticket # [redacted] On 3/24/the delivery crew returned with items to be exchangedUpon bringing the items into the home they damaged the new set of vinyl sliding doors, screen and door frame that was just installed (see attached photos of damage) I brought this to there attention so they took there cell phone and took some pictures, told us they would let the store know about the damageI called the store and no one knew of our concern, I called Badcock on 3/26/@ 3:

In the later part of August I purchased a bedroom setAfter it was delivered and set up on September 5, 2016, the bed broke days later Since the bed broke on the 9th of Sept, the store that I purchased it from, Jefferson City, TN, has yet to fix my bed I have called numerous times with the same response as it is the manufactur that is holding us up This has been going on for over a month and will soon be two months Please note that I purchased this bedroom suite at the Jefferson City, TN store There was not an option to select this store I have spoken with corporate as well as have not had this issue resolved yetHow would the people of corporate or the store of purchase like to sleep in a broken bed?

THE COMPANY DELIVERED TABLES THAT WERE BOTH DAMAGED AND PER THE WAREHOUSE MGR THE REPLACEMENT WOULD BE DELIVERED WITHIN A WEEK ON 2/24/I HAD FURNITURE DELIVERED TO MY HOME AND OF THAT FURNITURE MY END TABLE AND COFFEE TABLE WERE BROUGHT TO ME DAMAGED I CONTACTED THE STORE AND PER THE WAREHOUSE MGR HE WAS AWARE OF THE DAMAGES AND HE STATED THAT HE TOLD THE DELIVERY DRIVER TO BRING THE FURNITURE AND THE FURNITURE WOULD BE REPLACED WITHIN WEEK AND DELIVERED I CONTACTED BADCOCK AND THE LADY SEBRINA STATED TO ME MY STUFF WOULD BE SENT ON THE 14TH I ADV HER THAT WAS A WEEK DAY AND THAT WASNT WHAT WAS TOLD TO ME BY THE WAREHOUSE MGR ON 2/I THEN REQUESTED TO SPEAK WITH THE MGR SHE STATED HE WAS BUSY BUT THE 14TH IS MY DATE I ADV THAT I WANT A CALL BACK SHE TOOK MY NUMBER I THEN CALLED BACK HOURS LATER B/C I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED A CALL BACK AND THE YOUNG LADY TOLD ME THE SAME THING I THEN CONTACTED CORPORATE OF THE STORE AND SPOKE WITH FLORI AND SHE GAVE ME A COMPLAINT NUMBER **

I am unable to use broken beds for my childrenThis was reported after days of purchasingStill NO REPAIRS! I purchased two twin beds and mattresses from Babcock almost months agoAfter a month the bottoms that hold the bed up brokeThen, the flimsy pieces of wood used as the "box springs" broke in half as wellI reported this to the local furniture store here in Tallahassee and was told someone would come to repair thisBut the sales representative advised me to exchange because she had purchased the same one and had the same problemI did inform that I WILL NOT continue to pay for something I can't useI'm now being told until my account is "current" nothing can be done I had this complaint when my account was "current" and nothing was done! Refund on Furniture - business denying refund My mother is a senior citizen and unable to file this report on her own. My father passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 15,2017. My father had financed 3 pieces of furniture - 2 beds and a sofa. My mother was paying on the sofa and has proof of the payments from her account - she has paid a total of $700 for the sofa. Badcock (after giving my grieving mom the run around for over a week), has denied her to be able to just pay off the sofa and keep instead. Instead they are asking that she payoff all 3 pieces of furniture or that will pick it up - it's all of nothing at all since all 3 pieces of furniture are under one account. Badcock has the authority to split up the furniture since the account holder is deceased. It's not right that my mother loses $700 when she is willing to pay off the sofa and keep it - a win win for both Badcock and my mom. They'd rather lose money on all 3 pieces of furniture than to split up the furniture in one account

This company does not seem to care about their customers, and does not give their employees and lower management the ability to solve customer problemsI will never shop here again I ordered a loveseat from Badcock and received lackluster service during the purchaseThe sales associate took a personal call from her daughter and also engaged in personal conversations about forgetting to clock out with the other desk employees while I was standing in front of her at the registerShe also forgot several times during the conversation that the item would be a pickup, and kept trying to confirm delivery with me A friend of mine went to pick up the loveseat without meHe said when he arrived that the box was huge, and he asked if this was actually the loveseat he orderedHe was told it wasHe brought it back and unpacked it, and it ended up being the full sized sofaHe called the store to tell them about the mistakeThe phone was answered with a very unprofessional "This is __________" when he called, with no mention of the store name or formal greeting When he explained the mixup he was told they would swap the item out for us at no cost Later I received a call from the sales associate who, again, was not professional over the phoneShe merely stated her name but did not mention the store, and asked if my fiance was availableI do not have a fiance and had no idea she was from Badcock, and I thought she had dialed the wrong numberShe finally said "Didn't you just buy a sofa?" and then asked again for my "fiance's" number, saying that she had written it down in the back and "didn't want to go get it" She called my friend, and he told me she had said the delivery truck was full on the days that it would be in our areaShe had asked if we could take the couch back to the store ourselvesAt this point I wanted nothing to do with this store and its jarring lack of customer service, and tried just asking for a refundWe were told we could get a refund if we brought the couch in ourselves or paid for pickupI called the customer service line and was told the same thing, so I asked for the situation to be escalatedI was told I would be contacted in a few days I received a call a day later, and was told the same thing - that if I wanted a refund, I would have to take the couch in myself, or if I wanted to exchange it they would handle the pickup and delivery for freeI never got a clear answer as to why they would pick the couch up in exchange for a different piece but not in exchange for my moneyI was also told I was not allowed to stay on hold to speak to a supervisor because they have other calls waiting Eventually I was able to talk to a supervisor who, while polite, told me the same thingHe also seemed to try to shift responsibility on us by saying that the pickup sheet my friend signed said "sofa" (again, my friend asked the employees if this was really the loveseat that he ordered and was told yes)I asked for the issue to be escalated again and I am waiting to see if the higher ups at corporate will allow the store to pick up the sofa that they ordered by mistake without charging me As it stands I am expected to spend my own time and money to fix the mistake that Badcock madeI would have been happy to exchange the couch for the correct piece if it weren't for the terrible service during almost every encounter I had with Badcock employeesIt seems my $is more important to Badcock than my opinion of the company, my future business, and the business of those I associate with If you are a consumer that cares how you are treated by employees and expects professional service when making a purchase, then Badcock is not the company for you
