Beacon was originally contracted to move the contents of a storage unit from Savannah GA to StLouis MO on January *, at the time of this complaint it is January ** and they have not picked up the items to be deliveredThey have promised to do so today, and deliver the items within 2-days, however I have zero faith that will happen at this pointEmployees in their dispatch department have blatantly lied about calls that were never made, refused to disclose the names and titles of supervising employees, cancelled & rescheduled move dates and times over times now, and been generally unprofessionalSpecifically, a man who identified himself as Levani, a dispatch manager, asked to speak to my "husband or another gentleman" instead of me, a woman, when I told him that changing the date again was unacceptableHe then refused to disclose the name or contact information for anyone who is higher in the businessThis was around the time of the sixth change in schedulingToday, the newest pickup date, a driver for a subcontracted trucking company hired by Beacon (United), called my contact in Georgia who is responsible for giving access to the storage unit, and told him that "it's inconvenient, but [he] would do [his] best to be on time"At this point I would prefer that no one associated with this company touch anything that I own, however they refuse to refund the money that has already been paid, so I'm not left with much choiceI would strongly advise hiring literally anyone but these people for any sort of moveThe contact information that I have for them is sketchy at best, but they are Listed online as Beacon, their phone calls show up on caller i.das being from a company called Sweetface, which is listed as a fashion or cosmetics company of some sortThe address they provided for this complaint is *** * *** *** *** *** ***, which is listed as a generic industrial space and is not where they indicated they are locatedMost of this information was gathered from a man who identified himself as Michael, who says he is an owner & it is a family businessIf that is the case, this family needs a different business that involves no contact with the public & that does not involve keeping any promisesThe reviews I read prior to hiring Beacon were either glowing or horrendous, and I foolishly decided to give them the benefit of the doubtIf it were possible to undo that decision I would

I am not accepting their replyI never asked them to deliver before Sept ***As per the agreement itself and the mail I received from them, clearly states that, goods will be delivered within 7-Days from the date of deliveryTheir working of all days is also wrongThey don't work on Saturdays and don't respond to calls after 4:00/5:PM, during weekdaysThey didn't deliver things on September ***, which is also a lieI got my Goods only on Sept *** at 11:PM in the night, after repeatedly calling and begging the driver to deliver the goodsHe was nice enough to come and deliver it (Otherwise the office was saying that it won't be delivered until the week starting Sept *** as per their System)You can get the copy of the delivery note on which I have signed and mentioned the date of deliveryThey always lied to me about delivery date, never gave me a proper dateFirst they mentioned that it's already loaded in the truck and is on the way, but when checked with the driver, he picked it almost days laterIt's all lies only I have agreed to the price increase without asking a question when they said the items are more than the estimateI called them last week on Sept *** and told them about the missing stuff and damaged goodsThey told me that they will call me for missing stuff and asked me to contact the Insurance directly to discuss on the damaged stuff ? Is this how it is servicedVery bad and poor customer service.

** *** is having problems receiving his deliveries because he is unable to settle for a date no matter when we call to confirm with himTo confirm a delivery it is IMPOSSIBLE to call days ahead and guarantee that the drivers can be there at a set timeUntil at least a day before, once we are
full aware of the distance between the last location of the driver - there is more than deliveries done per trucks- to the location of the following drop offOnce that and traffic is accounted for it is more reasonable to give the customer a time frame between which the driver can arrive. During ** ***'s previous date of deliveries he did receive many calls which were unanswered to prior to the driver arriving at the locationWe had to reschedule for a truck to drive down to him, for which he was not charged*** then contacted ** *** and he agreed that he could be thereThe day both the office and the driver contacted ** *** to confirm again that he would be there and no one were able to reach himThe driver than had to move on to another customer that was waiting and come back to ** ***'s house. *** called ** *** and asked how much time he needed to make sure he could be there, once time agreed too, ** *** was given a time frame at which we would be able to send a truck down just for him which would make it easier on his time restrictionsThe dates were set between the *** and the *** of March*** than told ** *** she wouldn't be able to call until at least the *** to try and give me at least days notice and will do her best to have the estimated time of arrival for ** ***On the *** when *** called to let ** *** know both the date and time that the driver was to be there, ** *** said it was too short notice, although he had previously known that that was the time frame to reschedule a 3rd delivery and he was being given days notice. ** *** still wasn't charged for the truck having to once again drive to DE and not deliver and being re-placed in our storage facilityIt was agreed that ** *** would have to himself call to notify the company of when he could receive his items so we could work a date out with himTo this day ** *** has not called the office or emailed anybody to rescheduleAlthough he wasn't charged for any additional storage despite what he says, we have no choice but to charge for an additional fee this time in order to send a driver for the 4th time to complete the delivery. Thank you

The price was very reasonable and I would recommend these movers to all my friends! these are really nice guys

people at dispatch (Stephanie, Levanie and Michael) all explained the exact breakdown of contract and why the bill wenf from $to $1550, ** *** received and email August ** with the actual breakdown of all items to be shipped from VA to NV, later on the dispatch personnel explained and broke down item per item showing her why!We also spoke to her father which was very calm and respectful, he understood and agreed why contract pricing changed $we have all recording of all conversations and emails to show if needed!!!

My roommates and I recently used Beacon moving services to move our apartment and they worked quickly and carefullyWe definitely recommend to everyone

the reason we couldn't take everything from *** *** home is because she had more items to move and wasnt willing to pay the extra fee for more space on the truck, we still took more items and charged accordingly! If there is any damages occurred by us please contact us as we are in
the office Monday - Friday to and Sunday to 5, *** ***
contract indicates delivery dates she requested, the foreman explained to her it can take days from the earliest date she needs
I have already instructed *** from ###-###-#### to call her and start a claim form and see if there is any damages to her furniture

When I emailed *** with an inventory of the things that I was moving it was an estimateI didn't know how many boxes I would have until I packed everythingWhen I spoke to *** he did say it would not be a problem if I had nore things than estimated I pay for more space or they would reduce if I had lessI was willing to pay for more space the movers didn't tell me I was out of space and would have to pay more moneyI was willing and able to pay for more spaceThe movers that packed me didn't speak good English they were *** so I'm not sure how I wasn't willing to pay for more spaceI called on Saturday 8/* while the movers were there to report the damages no one answered, I left a message on ***'s Voice mail and ***'s voice mail*** returned my call on Sun 8/*(I have the voice message he left), he told me to call ***I again called *** on 8/* & 8/* both days I left a message regarding my damagesNo one returned my callFirst call I got was yesterday 8/** and there was no message leftThe movers that unpacked me witnessed the damages to my furniture on 8/*I can submit phone records for the amount of times I called and when they first called me regarding damagesThey also took apart my daughters bunk beds when they wasn't suppose to per company policy, so that was more items listed because they inventory every piece of the twin bedsI also had to put together the beds because the movers couldn't put them back together per company policyThis company makes things up, they don't give correct information and they damage your things

I totally dis-agree with the response provided by Beacon/BrianAgain some more liesI never denied that I had items, little more than what they have estimated, since they never visit the place to estimate before picking up the thingsI called them on all the dates they have provided me that they will deliver my goods, on Sept *, Sept ** Sept *, Sept *, Sept **, Sept **, Sept **, Sept **, Sept ** On none of these they have told me that, my stuff was sent on *** and nothing about the breakdown for daysIt's only now through this email message that They are telling me, again another lieThis company is just full of liesWhen I called on Sept *** the dispatch staff lady tole me that my things were not sent, it will be sent following week and asked me to call them on Sept *, When I called them on that day, they told me that it will be picked up on Sept * and will be sent to PAWhen I called them on Sept *, the answer I got was that, it was picked on Sept * and they told me that we it should be delivered on weekendAgain when I called them on Sept *** they told me that, It's dispatched and will be delivered soonAgain when I called them on Sept *** they told me that I will get it soon and after begging them many times to provide the Contact number to verify, they finally gave me the drivers contact noDriver didn't pickup the call on Sept ** when I called himWhen I called him the next dayHe clearly told me that it was picked up only on Sun Sept ** and the driver himself told me that, people working in this company are all lairs, don't believe them, they always lie to everyone and I am fed up of this company, they are making me to drive around like crazyI had to follow up with the driver almost every day and he was kind enough to deliver the goods to me on Sept *** at MidnightI am thankful to the driverWhen I called the Dispatch team so many time, they didn't even had courtesy to say sorry for all these issuesI believe they might be recording all the calls that they getRequest you to please get the recordings and verify which will confirm what I am saying
Also I called them 2-times about the damaged and missing itemsThe Lady at the dispatch department told me that they will check for the missing item and call me, which they never didI also asked them about the damaged items, initially they asked me to directly contact the insurance company and raise a claim As per this response, I will call Brian and see what he has to update me.

Beacon Moving & Storage is great to work with!!! They are reliable, hardworking, and get the job done wellThey helped us to move from Orlando to MiamiThey placed everything in our home exactly the way we wanted it and they treated our items with careThey are very polite & professional and have wonderful customer serviceThank you for all your hard work ***!

This company offered some of the lowest rates around and even beat the rates of the local guys
and his crew arrived on time, and called me when they were getting ready to leave to come to my placeThe crew and the office staff were very polite and easy to do business withAll the goods arrived in perfect condition and nothing was brokenThe guys hustle (and therefore do not waste your time and money)Everyone was respectful, honest, and accommodatingI would definitely hire them again, and have been recommending them to my friends, and even to my new landlord

When I initially called Beacon Moving and dispatch back in mid Janurary to find out how long it would take to send my stuff to Nashville, the woman said 4-days She said for example if I wanted it delivered on Monday to send out the email on Thursday I sent out the email on Friday so I was hoping for delivery on Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week When I called that Monday (January ***) the woman said she had mixed me up with someone else with the same last name and they hadn't sent out my shipment due to that and the weather She finally got back to me saying the shipment would leave Thursday or Friday and arrive Saturday the *** or the *** I had every right to be angry that my shipment not only didn't arrive but hadn't even left Mass yet In addition to being promised delivery, this company neglected to let me know that my shipment hadn't left MA yet and when calling that Saturday all they could tell me was that the truck was leaving sometime next week I was already scheduled to be out of town the following week which is why I asked her over the phone are you absolutely sure the shipment will arrive Saturday the *** or Sunday the *** and she said YES After this no effort on their part was made to arrange for my shipment to be in transit while I was out of town and delivered upon my return I did not receive my shipment until days after I was back in Nashville When the delivery actually came the driver said he always drives through Nashville and was here a couple of times within the last weeks Upon bringing my stuff in the unit I began to notice that most of my stuff was damaged and the legs of my table were missing making the table completely non usable The driver attempted to call the original guy who packaged up my things in my old home to find out if he knew where the table legs were I remember the guys wrapping them up in a blanket when they were taking the table apart I believe somehow this item did not get tagged with my information on it and therefore got lost I filled out the paperwork claiming the damages and the missing table legs with the delivery driver and I called Beacon Moving and left a message on the managers voicemail, which he failed to return the call This had happened to me a few times dealing with them It is difficult to get anyone in charge on the phone or to return phone calls I would like compensation for my damaged and unusable items I hope this company does the right thing and resolves this situation

let me start by explaining that the reason we didn't pick up all the items is because *** *** had more items to move and *** *** decided not to take everything because they didn't want to want/have money to pay for the size shipment that they needed to move The rise
in price was only because *** *** added more items to the list and they were explained prior to loading and moving anything! everything that was left behind is not Beacons fault *** *** decided not to take them! If their is any damages please contact our office and we will file a claim for, Beacon moving is fully insured licensed and bonded! we never received any inforation or picture/letter/email regarding any damages (***)

as you can see in the email that *** *** attached it clearly states what the bed includes, Queen Bed includes (Mattres Boxspring not headboard) ** *** had additional items to move from the original list, To move to Las Vegas NV at the rate of $per Cf ($divide by $is 70cf divided by items that averages to cf per items the headboard alone is 20cf ) we explained everything to *** *inard and delivered in a timely mannerWe have no reason to charge anyone unless they add items to the list!

first the offer was $the best management is willing to settle is $300, you will be contacted today to resolve this matter !!!
