Review: the website offers a trial size for 4.95. they want C.C. no. for the 4.95. I called and cancelled any subscription that was not stated on the advertising. they charged my card 89.95. my card co. tried to resolve this but said I didn't cancel in time. I did not receive any product from 12-13-2014 to 12-22-2014 even tho they charged for it. this is not only fraud but false advertising. It may rise to Postal fraud as they deal with the mail service. many calls to the co. has not resolved this. when do people pay for product they do not receive?Desired Settlement: I want this taken off my CC card

Hello,

Review: I ordered free samples of Beau Derma and [redacted] cremes, paying only $4.95 and $6.95 s&h on Jan. 21, 2015. The cremes were shipped on Jan. 23rd and arrived on Jan. 26th . On Feb 4th my account was charged $89.95 (TRYSKINREPLENISH.COM) and $85.95 ([redacted]). I called the Customer Service (888-206-0628) and they said I had taken out a monthly subscription. The website where I ordered the free sample did not mention anything about a monthly subscription. They refused to do anything other than offer a 15% discount. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they said no supervisors were available. Also, the phone was very hard to understand with a lot of background noise and voice distortions. This company is obviously engaged in deceptive advertising and sales practices. In addition to the complaints that Revdex.com has received, I found numerous other complaints about this company on other websites.I want, and believe I deserve, a full refund ($89.95 and $85.95) for the Feb. 4th charges. I have not received this shipment, but will return it immediately if I do.Desired Settlement: Complete refund of the $89.95 and $85.95 charged on Feb 4, 2015.

Hello,

Review: I ordered a trial sample of a product advertised on the web site. When I got a confirmation number the next day, they were charging me for two different trial samples plus there were 2 pending charges on my credit card for the full product membership.. I called the cancellation number right away and the way it is set up, when you put in #1 to cancel it also tells you that the sample has been cancelled and you will still receive the full product at a discount price.

I replied to the customer service confirmations for them not to send any charges to my credit card. This company is a scam and a rip off. It does not say ordering the trial sample is the beginning of a membership.

The confirmations were sent to me on 12/28 and the cancellations were phoned in and sent by e-mail on 12/28.Desired Settlement: Cancel and reverse any charges to my credit card ASAP and send me a confirmation when done from that company.

Hello,

Review: Beau Derma used a bait and switch tactic on me. Their website is replete with the many benefits of their facial lotion including before and after photos and all the laudable qualities of the product. They especially emphasize how the product is “limited quantity” so you should “order your trial now” and that all you must do for your order is pay the shipping of $4.95. They promise you will receive a trial of the product so that you can see how awesome it is. There is no box that you have to click to agree to any terms.

They DO NOT tell customers to click the small text at the bottom of their page where you put your address information - on the bottom of this webpage is the “Policy” which states that it is a 14 day trial offer and that after 14 days all customers will be charged the remaining cost of the product with is $84.95 and that you will be put on subscription continuity

Thus, I felt completely ashamed and fooled by this company. I tried to find the website and realize that THE WEBSITE URL AND PRODUCT CHANGES every so often. Weird. I then realized that they change the name of their product every so often as well. The product I ordered was “Beau Derma.” I called to cancel my subscription which the automated service did, but I then attempted to contact a human person in the company and ask for mercy and if I could have my money back. I asked what company they work for and they refused to answer. I asked them if I could speaker to their manager and they said that they were busy. I kept pleading and they gave me a 15% discount, so I received $13.49 back on my credit card.

The clear problem with their business practice is that they present a “no strings attached” trial offer when it is actually just a hidden policy. Usually businesses have you click “I agree to the terms and conditions” – and since I did not check any such box or give any consent I feel that they have abused my rights as a consumer to charge my credit card without my good consent.Desired Settlement: I wish for a refund of $76.46 to be credited back to my card. This is the outstanding amount that I was charged without consent. (This does not include the original $4.95 charge which I wanted to pay)

Hello,

Review: Responded to website ad that guaranteed a 30 day trial period of product. I ordered product on 1/16/2015 and received product on 1/19/2015. On 1/28/2015 My bank account was charged 89.95. I immediately contacted the company on the 28th and was told that you had 10 days from the date of order to call and "extend" the trial offer in order to truly have a 30 day guarantee. No where on the website was this information made clear. The company is refusing to honor their 30 day trial that was plastered all over the website with no fine print. The company will not provide a full refund since I called just after the 10 day period that I was not aware of. Their website is very misleading and this very much feels like a scam.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund and will be happy to return the product.

Hello,

Review: Company advertises a free 14 day trial of their product for a $4.95 shipping charge. When I received the product there was no paperwork in the envelope just the skin cream. Today I called the customer service number that was on an email I got on 1/21/15 "Shipment Notification #" to dispute the $89.95 charge that hit my bank statement. I don't speak to a real person the phone just rings and rings. It gives you an option to press 0 to cancel the order and monthly subscription with a confirmation # that's automated. I did not agree to or want any type of subscription. I ordered a free 14-day trial only I'm not paying for the product I did not order or authorize and not satisfied with.Desired Settlement: Want a full refund of $89.95 credited back to my credit card.

Business

Response:

Hello,

Company advertises "free" trial for 14 days. If cancelled in 14 days from day ordered no further products will be sent. They also advertise $1.99 special shipping but actually bill $4.95 or $5.95 depending on the product. I called within 5 minutes of placing my order to cancel and the recorded message said my credit card would be billed 38.71 and 4.95 shipping. I called the company and talked to a service rep who could or would not help me. I then talked to a "supervisor" named Jeff or Jess who was equally unhelpful and told me that the product was already shipped and they could not stop it. No product ships only 5 minutes after the order has been sent across the internet. The offered a lower price then lowered it again but I told them no. I did offer to pay the $1.99 shipping the web site had offered and take the free trial but did not want further products sent and they refused. Told me I would be billed the $38.71 and 4.95 shipping and I could send the product back to them (at my own expense) and they would then credit my account. I refused to do this as well. I did tell them I would call my credit card company to dispute the charge if it appears on my card and that I would refuse the shipment. But I did not want charges to be billed to my card. The "supervisor" hung up on me. Sounds like a complete scam to me to advertise $1.99 shipping and then bill more than twice that amount and to charge someone $38.71 for a supposed "free" trial . Sounds like false advertising to me and a blatant scam!

Review: I ordered a sample product of beau derma anti wrinkle face serum on july 27-2014 for 4.95/they did not tell me that it was a 2-week trial period from the july 27-2014 date. it took at least 3 days for the serum to arrive which would make the date july 30-2014. when august 10-2014 came I had a deduction from beau derma for 89.95 from my checking account which I did not authorize them to take. when I called beau derma the woman told me that it was a 2-week trial period starting on the date that I placed the sample order, that is crazy they did not tell me that when I placed my sample order also the sample order didn't arrive for at least 3 days because it came from CA. so I cancelled it then which was day 15 from when I placed the order. She told me that I was not getting my 89.95 back because I did not cancel the order within that 2- week period and that the 30 day trial was how long the serum would last not the trial period of 2- weeks and I had to cancel within the 2-weeks from july 27-2014. this is a rip off! please help me get my money back.the company name is beau derma [redacted] their # is 888-510-9185 6 am to 6 pm CST my name is [redacted]ala [redacted] ph# [redacted] my address is [redacted] my email is p[redacted]1955@gmail .com thank you in advance I appreciate your help [redacted]Desired Settlement: See above

Review: I order a trail for 30 days I received the trail but after 3 days the billed in for 89.95 for a month , I did not even get to try this product and they said would not refund me because the trail period was over the trial starts the day you order it, does not matter how long it takes to get the product.Desired Settlement: a full refund

Hello,

Review: I fell for the "free offer" and paid my $4.95 shipping fee on 2 [redacted] products(face cream and eye serum). When the product arrived there was no statement with any return policy. It just contained a [redacted] piece of paper with a customer service number. A couple weeks later I noticed 2 separate charges on my card. One for $99.98 posted on 1/21 and the other for $89.99 posted on 1/20. I called the number on my bank statement listed for that charge and cancelled the account for one of their products via automation. When I tried to call the other number listed for the other product I got an automated response that the account was cancelled. I never had the option to talk to a person and still had one product NOT CANCELLED. I tried all the "Customer service" numbers that I could find listed anywhere(even online) and always was automatically told the account was cancelled. I finally used my cell phone so the computer would not recognize my number and got a real person who grudgingly cancelled the account for the 2nd product. I NEVER received the product that I was billed $189.97 combined for. I gave it several weeks in case the product had just shipped. NOTHING arrived. I feel this is an obvious scam since they charged my card without prior notice, never sent the products, and can not get a real person in customer service.Desired Settlement: I would like Beau Derma to refund my card the 2 charges ( $99.98 and $89.99) since they never sent the product.

Hello,

Review: As required by their agreement, I phoned and asked for further shipments to cease. They have not stopped them and continue to charge me.Desired Settlement: Stop all shipments and credit the charges back to my account. I have returned the last two shipments as "refused."

Response:

Hello,

Review: the web advertisement promises a "sample product" for $4.95, they say that somewhere in the terms and conditions which I did not agree to, that the $4.95 price is only if you call and cancel in 14 days, otherwise they charge your acct. $89.95 I would never have agreed to this. This is such a scam, plain and simple, and besides that the product doesn't work.Desired Settlement: I should be refunded the $89.95 that was scammed out of me.

Business

Response:

Hello,

We are in receipt of you complaint on behalf of the customer.

We understand the customer frustrations and have responded to the complaint by

providing a full refund of $89.95 on 3/10/2015. Please allow up to 10

business days for the credit to show from the refunded date. Also, please

be aware that it was stated in the terms and conditions that the customer would

be charged for the full 30 days for the trial bottle if they didn't cancel

before the 14 days was over. The system does not and will not allow the client

to proceed to the checkout section to complete the purchase unless he

acknowledges the terms and condition of the product. The customer is

automatically signed onto our monthly subscription until they call in and ask

to cancel the product. After the customer finishes their 30 day supply of

the product, they will be charged on the card on file for a 30 day supply plus

shipping and handling. Usually, the customer must receive and RMA number from

the customer service department to return the product and they will then

receive a refund. Nevertheless, the customer account has been cancelled

and will no longer be receiving anymore products or be charged. It was stated

in the terms and conditions every customer agrees to before proceeding to check

out. The customer must call in and cancel their account before the 14 day trial

is over. If the customer fails to cancel their account, they will be charged

for the trial product and be subscribed onto our monthly subscription. Sincerely,Beau Derma

Review: Warning: this business advertises that you will receive a free 14 day supply of a skin cream and you will only be charged for S&H but in actuality, they send you a month supply and expect you to pay an exhorbitant price for the remaining cream after the 14 day supply is diminished.Desired Settlement: I settled with them over the phone for a much reduced fee but they need to be investigated for their fraudulent advertising online.

Response:

Hello,

Review: I phoned Beau Derma to cancel all future orders of their sample trial order products and was informed by a representative of this company that orders are processed by an automated

system and to cancel any orders would take a few days. The following week I observed on my credit card account that another payment for a product was posted that I did not order.

I called Beau Derma again and heard an automated message that my order for all products were cancelled. I received a package for one product by mail this week.Desired Settlement: The company should pay also the return postage of the product package mailed to my address. I desire that I have no other contacts with Beau Derma.

Response:

Hello,

Review: I purchased skin care products from this internet business and returned them because they irritated my skin. In the meantime, they continued to ship to me and charge me for more of the same products. Their advertising never mentioned that ordering would lead to a subscription to their purchase plan. I would never have ordered anything, if that were the case. I have corresponded with them for more than six months now and they still have not refunded the $175.90 they owe me. I will forward to you copies of my correspondence with them, if that would be helpful.Desired Settlement: Refund of $175.90 owed to me.

Review: I ordered the Beau Derma product via a link in [redacted], along with the [redacted] product (separate complaint filed for [redacted]). The online ad did not say anything about a 14 day cancellation requirement, and I did look! If I had seen anywhere that I was going to be charged $94.90 a month for this, I never would have signed up. The product came in a plain manila shipping envelope with no receipt or any other paperwork at all, no contact information or indication that I would have to call to cancel anything before the trial period was up. I received another shipment in April but my mother had just passed away, so I didn't have the time or inclination to investigate at that time. I received another package on June 11, and went back and checked my credit card statements-they had charged me $89.95 the first month for the "free trial", and $94.90 in May and June, for a total of $279.75 ($550.50 with the [redacted] included!!). I called to let them know I was going to send them back the product, since I only opened the trial one, and requested a refund. At first they flat refused, then offered a 15% refund, then a 20%. Finally, after much arguing, they agreed to refund the bottle I received that day, but not the others since it was outside of the 30 day money back guarantee. If there was a 30 day money back guarantee, why did I have to argue about the bottle I received that day? The customer service people also claimed they did not have a supervisor available, they were "out meeting with clients". I'm mortified that I was taken in by this deceptive advertising, but the company itself should be completely ashamed of the way they do business. It's predatory, deceitful and completely unethical.Desired Settlement: Full refund ($279.75), not just the most recent bottle-you can have all of the product back!

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I am aware of all of the details you provided; however, stating that your 14 day trial and subsequent auto fill orders information was all over is absolutely false. I ordered this at the same time as the Beauderma product, and did not see those requirements anywhere, let alone "all over". Based on the number of complaints you have, this is how you make the majority of your money. It's fairly obvious you purposely placed the information only buried in the Terms and Conditions for the express purpose of deceiving your customers-you should be ashamed of your business practices. I requested a full refund of the trial and the shipment sent in April. I will gladly send the product back-the bottle sent in April is still sealed, and the trial bottle only had a very small amount used as it burned my skin.

Regards,

Review: I was on the Yahoo website, and clicked on the advertisement ot find out more about the product, It asked for my address and credit card information. I entered the credit card information because no where on the site was there a price associated with the product. The web site said, there would be a summary page to confirm the order if I was interested. What happen instead was the credit card was charged and it involves a reoccurring charge auto billed to my credit card for 94.00 . I called the customer service number to cancel the order and I thought cancelling it, but today I received a ship confirmation order. I again called customer service to cancel the order, the gentlemen on the other end said, the will only charge me $8.56 for the shipping. I told him, no I do not want the product cancel my order. He put me on hold for a very long time, and came back to tell me when the odere will arrive. I told him I do not want the product please cancel, he said he cannot do that, I will have to return it. I said not, I do not want the order, just cancel. I was on hold again, and disconnected. So now I am getting something I do not want and will probably have to cancel my credit card because of the reoccurring charge. This is not right.Desired Settlement: Cancel my order, credit my credit card, and make sure I am not going to be on a reoccurring charge. I do not want anything to do with this company.

Response:

Hello,

Review: free sample offered if postage paid by recipient. after receiving the sample, it was pointed out that I was now enrolled in a subscription plan and that after a two week trial, unless I returned the sample, I would be charged a large amount to keep it, and would be sent more each month and my credit card would be charged. I can cancel the account but must return the "free" sample in order to avoid further charges. None of this was mentioned in the original offer.

This is also going to apply to a "[redacted]" sample which hasn't yet arrived. It comes from the same company location.Desired Settlement: I think this is criminal and should be prosecuted for false and misleading advertising. I don't think I should be required to return the samples.

Response:

Hello,

Review: Beau Derma sent me what was to be a free months supply sample of their product to try. If I was happy with it, they would automatically send new product every month and charge my credit card. When I realized that they had billed me for the free samples, I called and canceled. I found it very difficult to reach some one by phone to ask them where to send the unopened products. I was told that it was their policy to not accept returns. The second person I talked to said they would refund 15%. When I told them that was not acceptable, they raised it to 25%, then 30%, and finally 50%. I found this game to be irritating and hung up. All legitimate businesses allow returns on unopened products, and I expect that from Beau Derma. Their other product is called Revita Eye. I was charged $85.95 for the Revita Eye, and $89.95 for the Beau Derma. Total of $175.90 for approximately 10 ounces of product. I appreciate any help you can give me in this matter.Desired Settlement: I return unopened, unused products for a full refund, less reasonable shipping & handling fee.

Response:

Hello,

Review: On December 21, 2014. I placed an order for a trail product advertising a skin cream. After I placed my order for the cream at a 1.99, a advertisement popped up for Revita Eye, asking if I would like to try the product for 5.99 as well. I did not want to, but the screen turned into a transparent gray and would not allow me to say no. I had to log off my computer to get out of the site. Only to find two email confirmations, one from Beau Derma Reference #[redacted] and the other from Revita Eye, Reference #[redacted]. I immediately called the companies which are both located at 3760 W Mcfadden Ave. Suite B 602. I spoke to employees [redacted] employee #[redacted] and [redacted] employee #[redacted]. I informed them I did not want the product. That their practice were sneaky and deceptive. And I wanted to cancel the orders immediately. I was told I could not cancel the order because the product had already been sent out. I informed them the confirmation from both companies stated the product would be sent out in 5-7 days. I argued that I am not obligated to purchase a product I do not want and they cannot force me to buy the product. It was only when I agreed to buy both products at 14.71 a piece that they cancelled the trial orders for which I have emails. I then called my bank and explained the situation asking them to put a stop payment on any orders from that company. On December 22, I received an email from Revita eye stating the cancelled order reference #[redacted] had been shipped. And today I received the other cancelled order reference [redacted] on December 29. I can provide email proof of cancellation. I do not want to do business with this company, I want them to terminate sending me any more of their products. No one should be obligated to buy or pay for a product they do not want. Both companies located at the same address are sneaky, deceitful, and underhanded. I want them to terminate from sending me products I do not want!!!Desired Settlement: I should have been able to cancel my order immediately, when I asked. No product should have been sent out to me after I clearly cancelled the orders. I can provide email proof from both companies of the cancellation. Cease and desist from billing my credit card or sending me any of your products!!! A product should be able to sell itself, if your product is good, you wouldn't have to engage in such underhanded sneaky deceptive practice.
