Review: I received a 14 day trial sample of the product beau derma anti wrinkle cream. Once I received two sample produtcs,t he revitafresh and Bai skin renew and tied if for a few days, I cancelled my account that was initially set up just for trying product discovered the following charges on my account. I had to go on line to find a number from which to contact company. No paperwork of my order was included with the product, which I found odd. Checking my banking statement I see the following charges for the products that I initially sampled: 03/02/2015 [redacted] $91.90 02/27/2015 [redacted] $94.90 01/29/2015 [redacted] $85.95 01/28/2015 [redacted] $89.95 I called to inquiry about these transactions and I was told by a representative who could barely speak English clearly, that I could not be refunded my money because I did not cancel my account after 14 days. I explained that I did call and cancel my account; nor did I received e0mail confirmation from his company using my email address that was requested and provided that my account was charged for another shipment. I explain their advertisement is less than honest, and withdrawing money from a person's account with authorization or notification is cirminal in nature. When I asked for and RMA number so that I can returnthe product the was recently sent to me for a full refund, The representative attempted to negotiate a percentage of the refund they would give me. I was appalled. That is not how legitimate business handle customer complaints or concerns. Please investigate this company and their business paractices. I am certain I am NOT the only one who has experienced this issue with this company and/or their representatives. I will be changing my bank account information this afternoon.Desired Settlement: A full refund of these changes: 03/02/2015 [redacted] $91.90 02/27/2015 [redacted] $94.90 01/29/2015 [redacted] $85.95 01/28/2015 [redacted] $89.95

Hello,

Review: I ordered a product from Beau Derma, a face cream, as a trial and only had to pay the shipping cost. I made sure to read all of the terms and conditions because I did not want to buy a product that would put me in a subscription, or cost more later. Later I received a charge on my account for 89.95 (which I did NOT agree to) and when talking to customer service they are claiming that it was in the terms and conditions, which as I already stated and told them repeatedly, I read. No where in the terms and conditions at the time of purchase did it state I was enrolling in a subscription and would be charged 89.95. I have obtained a 50% refund at this time, but would like to receive a full refund, the other 50%. I would also like to see them revise their terms and conditions so this doesn't have to keep happening to other people...Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the other 50% to make my refund a full 100%, please. If possible, for them to revise their terms and conditions so this doesn't have to keep happening to other people, because if you search their company online there are a lot of other complaints.

Review: after contacting beau derma to cancel product on within a week of product , believing I was to pay only 4.95 for derma and 5.95 for vital eye.

I was told I had to pay more and this was before the trial was up. so I end of paying 22.71 additional money to cancel contract which I was not aware of any contract.

Later to find that when called on the 7th of march to Cancel.

Today I was told that I did not cancel both products even though they were a package deal. I only canceled one of the items

Only finding out today April 2, 15 I was charged an additional amount 89.95 .

At first they offered me 15% off, I said no and then 30% off of the 89.95 to cancel and I said I was not happy with that but will take the 50% off and cancellation with a call back from a supervisor to gain a full refund. they assured me that I would be called back

I alerted the customer service agent that I was not satisfied and wanted full refund that the company was exercising a SCAMDesired Settlement: Full REFUND

Hello,

Review: Company has misleading information about a trial size product and their payment plan. They send out a tiny sample without much information, no instructions and no way to return the product or how to contact the company, then they charge you for a full size product on your credit card and do not send any other product or any other information. When you are finally able to contact someone, they tell you that you had 14 days to stop any orders. I received my product 10 days after ordering it and had no idea based on information I was given that I would be charged $89.95 for the product. They would not refund my money. Now they have my credit card information and I feel the entire company is a scam. I have learned my lesson ordering from this type of company on the internet, but would like to warn others. They do not represent a true company with a true product and their money back guarantee is a joke. Please investigate this company.Desired Settlement: Would like my money refunded. I'm also going to call my bank to cancel any further charges to my credit card.

Review: False advertising (regarding a "free" product sample) that was misleading regarding return policy and cancellation

of further shipments of (full size) product. After I received the "free" product sample for which I paid only the

shipping and handling ($5) as stated in the offer, I called the customer service number to cancel my "subscription"

(further shipments of product at a high price--$89-- I cannot afford as a retiree on a limited income), I was given

only the choice of 1) in order to cancel my "subscription" with no further shipment, my credit card would be

charged $39 for the "free" sample I already received or 2) I could return my "free" sample at my own expense, to

only be honored ONLY IF product received by company within a small time frame. If time frame was exceeded, I would

be charged $89 for an additional shipment. I believe there is nothing "free" about this offer, and that if the

conditions had been revealed clearly, no one would agree to these hidden conditions. The only way for me to avoid

paying $89 more would be to pay $39 to retain my "free" sample, or return the product at my expense--none of these

choices would result in my keeping the "free" sample or NOT having to pay an additional amount. Fraudulent and

misleading advertising. Misleading. Intent to defraud by making misleading statements.Desired Settlement: False advertiser should be made to refrain from making false "free" offers.

Hello,

Review: Company Terms & Conditions says: We are confident you will see the benefits of using our Beau Derma Product within our 14 Days trial... Upon signing up for your trial offer, your credit card provided will be charged a One-time processing fee of . If you contact customer service to terminate your trial enrollment within 14 Days of the date that you enroll in the Program, you will not receive any additional product and you will not be charged anything else. All orders are shipped within two business days... Actual delivery time of the parcel will vary by region.

My complaint is that if company wants customers to make their decision about purchase within 14-day period, then it should give these FULL 14 days from the time a person received the parcel. According the above statement, the product leaves a facility withing 2 WORK days and then it takes few days it to be delivered. So, the customer doesn't have those promised 14 days for try out. I ordered trial Beau Derma trial on 12/12/14. It was delivered on 12/17/14. So I had 9 days to try it instead of "promised" 14. After some use, I decided to cancel the order as cream didn't work at all. I called provided number 888-510-9185 on 12/26/14 & waited almost an hour for customer service and then just couldn't wait longer . Next day 12/27 I was able to speak to Apple and expressed I would like to have refund and will return the product if required. I also mentioned none of advertized effects were achieved. Instead she told me I was charged yesterday (12/26) for the full price of cream $89.95. I complained about my call on 12/26 and company's unavailability and stated I'll dispute this charge. I was offered 15% courtesy refund right away. I wanted to speak to the supervisor, however was told no one is available to talk. Apple offered me 30% refund. I insisted I'd like to have a full refund & asked for the address where I can return the cream. Apple offered me 50%, quickly informed me of confirmation via email & hung up.Desired Settlement: I'd like to have a full refund of $89.95.

Response:

Hello,

Review: I responded to an ad by Beau Derma for a 14 day free trial for only shipping cost and after the 14 days I could cancel without further obligation. The terms they have are very misleading because it states you get a 30 day supply to USE for a 14 day trial, but when I called after USING it for 14 days, they had already charged my credit card $89.95 for the subscription . They are not giving you 14 days to try the product but instead start your trial when you fill out your order form even though you do not have any product to use for at least 3 days. I asked for a refund and after some heated words , they offered a 15% discount, next 30% discount and final offer from them was 50% credit and they would cancel any future payments.

There terms are very misleading and they are collecting 50% of the $89.95 from every customer that wants to cancel after the so called trial period. They are raking in the money with this scam.Desired Settlement: I expect a full credit to my credit card- for this scam.

Hello,

Review: I ordered a trial skin product from Beau Derma. I immediately did not like the product, called the number provided and canceled the order. Nearly a month later, they charged my credit card twice. I called the company and they refused to reverse the charges. I asked to speak with a Supervisor and was told that all Supervisor's were busy and unable to take a phone call. I have filed a complain with Visa and canceled the charge, but it appears that this is a popular scam as several internet sites contain hundreds of similar complaints. The product literally burned my skin. When speaking to the customer service representatives ([redacted] and [redacted]) it is extremely apparent that they are speaking from a script and have been told not to forward any calls to supervisors. After my last call, I was told that a supervisor would call me back. It has now been two days and I have not received a call. I wanted to make sure that others were not scammed like I have been.Desired Settlement: I just want a credit made in the exact amount. I would also like to make sure that others are not scammed like I have been.

Review: On 12/2/14 I called and ordered a "trial" of beau derma and revita eye thru a phone number after a TV advertisement. It was advertised as a trial. I received a confirmation email stating I had been charged for 4.95 and 5.95 for the trial. No where on the confirmation was I told, nor was I told on the phone that they would be charging me after 14 days----89.95 and 85.95 monthly! I received my credit card statement for december today and was charged 89.95 and 85.95

I did received my 1 trial order in december(1 vial of each product).

Today in the mail I received another set of both beau derma and revita eye. I have opened the mailing package and in the package is the product and just a brochure that says if I am not happy to call a 1 800 number---again no notification of a monthly revolving charge.

I called Revita Eye and Beau derma this morning to dispute these 4 different charges. I had to dial 2 different numbers---one for revita eya and one for beau derma . I was told on the phone today that they both have charged me again in Jan (1/15/15) again the 89.95 an 85.95! I told them that I wanted full refunds for all 4 charges to my credit card as I was never told on the phone when I placed the order that this was a 14 day trial and then it would be renewed. On the phone they each told me their policies are on their website. I did not order from a website---I ordered over the phone after a TV advertisement. Each customer service person said they could only refund me for the January charges--once they receive the un opened product back. They did both send me return authorization #'s and also did both cancel my account. Both said there was nothing they could do about the first charges in december. This is completely not disclosing properly their policies. It is very much misrepresented. I believed I was getting a TRIAL for the 4.95 and 5.95 ONLY one time.Desired Settlement: I request that my DECEMBER charges of 89.95 for beau derma and 85.95 for revita eye products be reversed and my credit card be processed for this credit.

I was told today that I will get a credit for Jan charges once they get the product back.

I opened a fraud complaint with my credit card to dispute as well

I also want to ensure that NO further charges will be charged to my card and the records of my credit card number are destroyed.

This company is clearly in a very deceptive way getting money for a product that is NOT what they claim. It does not eliminate my wrinkles any better than regular moisturizer.

I never would have ordered a TRIAL had I known they were planning to have this on a revolving charge. This practice should have been indicated on my email confirmation on 12/2/14---when I placed the TRIAL order for 4.95 and 5.95. There was NO reference to any policy of this kind when I placed the order. I have a copy of my confirmation via my email from 12/2/14

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

My issue with this company is that they offered 2 products both Beau Derma and Revita Eye by calling one number. They DO NOT clearly indicate that they will be charging you after 14 days. I also think that if they have 1 number to call to order the product I should not have to send my complaint on the other product elsewhere. It is clear that they like deceiving people with this entire process.

Review: Found unauthorized charges from this company and [redacted] Charged $4.95, $5.95, and then $85.95 to my card within one month for no products received not ordered. [redacted] refuses to refund, allow a supervisor to speak, and claimed to be Revdex.com accredited. Check Revdex.com and neither place is accredited and the scam of charges has been done repeatedly to others. [redacted] is refusing refunds or any information on the order even though my personal information is not even correct. [redacted] stated its an automatic online link.Desired Settlement: Receive a complete refund and the business to be forced to stop using unethical practices to steal money.

Review: I purchased beau derma as a free trial offer with a 30 day risk free money back guarantee. When I called customer service ([redacted]) to cancel the automated processor informed me I was being charged $38.71 cents for the product. I later called back to speak to a customer service representative only to find out she would discount the price by 15%. I told her I did not want the product and wanted my money back. She then discounted it to 30%. I once again told her I did not want the product as it made my face swell; she then discounted it to 50%. I asked her what part did she not understand; I want my money back period, what do I need to do? She finally gave me the return address and a return number and said I will have to pay for postage. I am not sure what part of this was risk free with a money back guarantee as I had to pay almost $10.00 to receive the product and I will probably have to pay almost $10.00 to return the product.I feel this was a scam as it was being advertised on TV and did not disclose the terms except to say it as free and the only thing I was responsible for was the shipping and handling to receive the product. Now this company has charged my account $38.71 and I have to fight to get the refund.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund immediately and don't understand why it was charged in the first place as this was supposed to be a risk free money back guarantee agreement. The $38.71 was not charged when I placed the order; it was charged when I cancelled it. I would also like to be reimbursed for the cost of the return postage.

Hello,

Review: I ordered Beau Derma and Revitalift Eye Cream which came from the same address and the creams burned my face so badly after only three time use that I am just currently getting my skin to be clear again. Last week Thursday I got a refill in an envelope with no bill, no instruction on return just the creams in two separate envelopes with the exact same return address. I immediately wrote a note and sent them back. I paid ten dollars in shipping and put them in the same envelop along with the internet scam reports. Finally I have called, gotten the not agreed upon auto refill stopped and they will not refund the charges on the credit card; if I understood the person I could get a 50% return. I want all this stopped, I would like to protect others from this scam and she wants to return what I shipped and gave me a number but no free shipping. Such a waste! They even deny being the same company. Also frighteningly so I got a call from Brentwood CA just after my call to Beau Derma, could not understand the person, called back this am and got Ivory something a cream company also and they knew nothing about what I was talking about yet they spontaneously called my number last night. What is going on? Please help me and others to stop this kind of customer treatment. I would like the 89+ for each product returned. [redacted]Desired Settlement: Really they need to be out of business since the product burned my skin and the company as it is does not follow much paperwork, returns are difficult and they will not make full returns. Just not reputable.

Review: I ordered the advertised samples online. When I called customer service I was told an auto shipment went out this month (March). I had not set up auto-shipment. I was able to cancel the auto shipment (confirmation #[redacted]). BUT when I called back to discuss the auto-shipment that was sent out, the automatic message said my auto shipment was cancelled and "Thank you for calling Customer Service. Goodbye". I was not able to get a person to speak to a customer service representative.Desired Settlement: Refund the auto shipment amount to my card. Also, if I return that product, that return shipment is FREE!

I just called the company from another phone and spoke with a female named "[redacted]" (I'm not sure of the correct spelling). She told me no shipment was sent. BUT when I called from my phone , a recorded message told me that an automatic shipment went out. The information was given so quickly and unexpectedly that I did not get the date and amount. When I called from my phone (after cancelling my autoshipment), I could not get a customer service representative. There was an automated message (stated above) and then I was disconnected.

Hello,

Review: I responded to an add for a free sample of a cream which was supposedly to lastl 30 days. I received only 1/2 an oz was not enough for 30 days. Since I was going on vacation on August 8 and returning September 5th I did not realize that they had charged me more than $4.95 for shipping but a couple of days later $89.95. They later on returned the fee charged on 9/10 but refuse to return to my credit card the $89.95 charged on 8/11. This was supposed to be A FREE SAMPLE. Please look at the complaints on google about this business all saying the same thing. Then on rip-off people are also complaining about being charged when they were supposed to send a trial. I don't know of any cream worth $89.90 for half an oz. Particularly when it was supposed to be a free trial. REVITAEYE a company did the same thing in fact they both sent the products same day. Revitaeye did refund my money but this Beau Derma refuses to on the excuse that it's finished the case is closed. I did not know that they had charged all this, I was away on vacation in Europe and did not order anything else. Far from it the product was no good.l As soon as I received another shipment in September I returned it unopened. Wrote unrequested item on the envelope. I still have the paper from REVITAEYE stating this is a free sample the two companies must be connected. [redacted]iDesired Settlement: I just want them to send me a check for $89.95 that they charged erroneously on 8/11/2014. They had no right to charge anything but the shipping fee as agreed and stated in their add. The person I spoke to said it's free sample very clearly otherwise I would have never ordered, I am not crazy to pay such an amount for 1/2 oz of cream no matter if it's very good or not. .My credit card number has changed so they would have to send me a check I don't wish to give them my new credit card no as I don't trust them at all. Thank you kindly. [redacted] The shipping fee was agreed upon and Revitaeye charged me $5.95ye When I called them they wanted me to send them the bottles which I did then they refunded the $85.95 charged Only this Beau Derma refuses to send me my money which they had no business charging. Pretending that I Ordered it on9/10 when I was in Zurich? How could I do this without having their number or anything I thought it was just a sample.

Response:

Hello,

Review: I paid $5.95 postage for an advertised "free" trial of Beau Derma. When my credit card statement arrived, I saw that charge--no problem--then two weeks later, another charge listed for $89.95! I learned, after several calls to my credit card company and following up on what they told me, that I had not seen the "other" terms printed tersely in very small, very pale gray print tucked in a small white space at the very end of the lengthy Beau Derma/ [redacted] ad that was in large gold black and red font, with pictures, etc. Most people are going to miss those terms that say one has 14 days to cancel the "free" trial to avoid getting charged an outrageous $89.95 for half an ounce of a product that caused me itchy skin--and a recurring monthly charge that I learned about just in time to cancel further charges after the first one.

I am complaining that the pale color on a white background in tiny print in a small space directly underneath other wording, and not in a separate space, makes for an intentional set-up so that the customer won't see the terms. According to the internet, I am not the first one to make this complaint, some from more than a year ago, and yet the deceptive practice persists.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the $89.95, either via my credit card or mailed to my home address.

Hello,

Review: After using both the Beau Derma and [redacted] for only 2 days, which are advertised together, I began getting tender skin under and around my eyes. It became so tender and raw that the skin couldn't be touched and burned all day long. I stopped using the product when I started seeing the symptoms of irritation. The areas under both of my eyes continued to worsen over the next day and the skin began to peel away. That is when I went to see a doctor and they determined that my reaction was of that of a chemical burn. So, I went back and did some additional research on these companies and was astonished at the number of complaints. Most were false advertising and over-billing issues. In addition, there were many complaints about skin irritation. This product is unsafe and should be banned from being sold. If this product was to accidentally get into a customers eye, it could cause some serious vision problems.Desired Settlement: I want to see this company put out of business for practices that compromise the safety and well being of the public. They are a danger to society, untrustworthy, and reckless. They will undoubtedly continue to be a threat to any person that uses their products. Disband the company and never allow the owners, ceo's, and managers to be allowed to work in any form of health and hygiene business or services. My lawyers have been informed and I will pursue this to the fullest degree. I don't want a refund for their unsafe practices, I want their business to be terminated.

Hello,

Review: I ordered trial size and was under the impression I would only be charged for shipping and handling. Come to find out I have now been charged from my bank account in the amount of $89.95 and $85.95 for [redacted] and Beau Derma. I never in my life would spend this amount of money especially for such small amounts in each bottle. I have now also been charged two overdraft fees in addition to this. This is extremely disappointing and upsetting especially when I don't have a regular income and my account is extremely overdrawn! I have been advised via telephone that I will be refunded on one a full amount on BeauDerma but the e-mail confirmation does not indicate as such and only getting 50% on the [redacted].Desired Settlement: Full amount on both plus overdraft fees of $28.50 each plus shipping and handling.

Hello,

We are in receipt of you complaint on behalf of the customer.

We understand the customer frustrations and have responded to the complaint by

providing a refund of $44.98 on 3/25/2015 and an additional $44.97 on 4/6/2015 totaling $89.95 . Please allow up to 10

business days for the credit to show from the refunded date. Also, please

be aware that it was stated in the terms and conditions that the customer would

be charged for the full 30 days for the trial bottle if they didn't cancel

before the 14 days was over. The system does not and will not allow the client

to proceed to the checkout section to complete the purchase unless he

acknowledges the terms and condition of the product. The customer is

automatically signed onto our monthly subscription until they call in and ask

to cancel the product. After the customer finishes their 30 day supply of

the product, they will be charged on the card on file for a 30 day supply plus

shipping and handling. Usually, the customer must receive and RMA number from

the customer service department to return the product and they will then

receive a refund. Nevertheless, the customer account has been cancelled

and will no longer be receiving anymore products or be charged. It was stated

in the terms and conditions every customer agrees to before proceeding to check

out. The customer must call in and cancel their account before the 14 day trial

is over. If the customer fails to cancel their account, they will be charged

for the trial product and be subscribed onto our monthly subscription. In regards to [redacted], Please contact them directly. Sincerely, Beau Derma

Review: On 12/23/14, I ordered a free sample of BEAU DERMA face cream, and [redacted] eye cream, and authorized payment of shipping and handling for $4.95 and [redacted] respectively. The products were sent, and I did not like them. I did nothing. On 1/5/15, 2/4/15 and 3/6/15 more products were sent. We were out of town in January, my husband was in the hospital in February, and suddenly I realized they were sending these products and charging my credit card $94.90 and [redacted] respectively. I called Beau Derma and they said they could only refund the last mailing because you have to cancel within 30 days. I would have to pay for postage to return the product, and I would have to call [redacted] separately to cancel and return the product. They gave me separate RMA numbers. They refused to give me credit for the other 2 months of unauthorized charges.

I read the materials thoroughly before I ordered, and I did not see anywhere where it said they would ship to me each month. I feel duped, and feel they are guilty of false advertising. They link their product to [redacted] and [redacted] to legitimize it, but they are deceptive. Plus the eye product is like putting acid on your skin. It burns and turns the skin red and tender.Desired Settlement: Remove the charges from my [redacted] Card as follows:

1/5/15 - Beau Derma - $89.95

1/5/15 - [redacted] - $85.95

2/4/15 - Beau Derma - $94.90

2/4/15 - [redacted] - [redacted] (the prices went up, for some reason...)
