This company is a scam, backed by someone named Dr Oz.
I am going to block my account from further charges.
I ordered the "free" trial product, though I did pay some shipping and handling. The product created redness and burning. When a friend saw my face, she said throw it away. I did, since it was "free."
I then hunted for a phone number to call and found a website
http://www.trybeauderma.com/ which wanted me to pay $38.71 to cancel. So I called the number 1-888-510-9185 and it was clearly a large call center because there was so much background noise I could barely understand what the person was saying. I finally worked out that I would have to pay $14.71 or ship the container back and pay for postage. There was no way to ship the container back, as I has thrown it away.
They gave me an address of
3760 W. McFadden Ave Suite B602 Santa Ana, CA 92704.
I told them I would pay the $14.71 since I do not trust them to actually confirm that they received my shipment, but then they said that since they gave me the RMA and shipment address they could no longer offer this.
I repeatedly asked for a supervisor, and was told that there are no supervisors available. I was on this call for about 25 minutes and never received a satisfactory resolution.
Finally a woman named [redacted] came on the line with employee number [redacted]. She sounded exactly like the first woman, but I dutifully took her employee number. She agreed to the $14.71 charge - which I still think it a scam.

Review: Original purchase date: 12/29/14 one order that included Beau Derma with [redacted]. Beau Derma/[redacted] advertised that the products would be shipped if postage were covered. The advertisement also misleadingly used [redacted] as a endorser. The advertisement did not clearly indicate that monthly products would be sent at and that my credit card would continue to be charged. They subsequently charged me on 1/12/15 $89.95 for "[redacted]" and $89.95 for "[redacted]" for a product that I did not order and DID NOT RECEIVE. They again charged me in February for the same and sent me the both products. So in effect, I was charged the full price for the initial product when they charged my credit card in January to pay for the December initial order where they advertised that only shipping/handling was to be charged to the credit card.

When I called on 2/15/15 to cancel the product, ([redacted]) they indicated that they would not refund me the total amount even though I offered to return the unopened product.

I have subsequently discovered that by calling that same number only cancelled the [redacted] cream and did not cancel both products, even though they were originally ordered together. The operator did not disclose this to me.

A separate number has to be called to cancel the Derma product. I have yet to find that number.Desired Settlement: I would all my money refunded for this false advertisement and that [redacted] also be notified that they illegally used his name to sell their product.

Response:

Hello,

Review: On March 15,2015 I saw an online ad for Beau Derma, Anti Wrinkle Face Serum. It was offering a trial offer for $4.95 including shipping. It sounded like a good product. They stated that [redacted] uses it and several other celebrities. [redacted] was also associated with it, saying he had promoted this product on his show. I received this product within 3 days. Imagine my surprise when, on March 28,2015, I have a charge on my credit card for this same product for $89.95! What? I did not order any more product. I called the customer service number listed on the very basic brochure I received. The message said "if you would like to cancel your subscription press 1", which I did. I then spoke with a rep, from a foreign country and advised me my "subscription" had been cancelled and I would get an email confirmation. I explained that I did not want the subscription and wanted the charges taken off my credit card. I was told that I had 14 days to cancel my subscription and didn't, therefore I was charged. I did not see ANYTHING regarding this when I ordered. Needless to say, I was, and still am, quite upset. I contacted my credit card company and they were unable to do anything. They said they would reject any future charges since I had advised them that I cancelled this subscription". I went online to the Beau Derma website. There was a message stating that they are not accepting any new customers at this time. My thought on that is they were probably getting too many complaints and thought they should shut it down for a period of time. On April 20, 2015 I called their customer service number to let them know that I have not received the next shipment of what I was charged the $89.95. They told me that I am not receiving another shipment. This was the cost of the product they originally sent me! Are you kidding me?? WHAT A SCAM! Do not get sucked into this like I did. Do not purchase Beau Derma OR Revita Eye, which is connected to this scam. If it sounds to good too be true....it probably is.Desired Settlement: I would like my credit card refunded in the amount of $89.95. The only thing I wanted was the trial offer for $4.95. The brochure states "30 day risk-free money-back guarantee". If that is the case, I did contact them within 30 days and should get my money back. Someone needs to investigate this company and shut them down. The amount of money I am being charged is ridiculous! The product is only .50 fl. oz. They should be ashamed of themselves. What a SCAM!

Hello,

Review: Two packages were received by me, NOT ORDERED BY ME, and I was charged $4.95 for a "Free Trial". The first and second packages were sent from the exact same address, yet upon calling the both names on the packages, they each denied having anything to do with the other company! I am not allowed to "RETURN TO SENDER" as they will not pay for this service so I have to pay the return postage!

This is completely unfair! They didn't have the correct e-mail address or the correct credit card's last 4 digits AND I ONLY HAVE ONE (1) CREDIT CARD!Desired Settlement: THE COMPANY SHOULD NOT PROCESS ANY "FREE TRIAL" OFFERS WITHOUT FIRST CONSULTING THE INTENDED BUYER OF THIS ORDER EITHER BY PHONE OR MAIL.

Review: Ordered two products on line as a package. Beau Derma and [redacted] Advertisement stated free trail offer for cost of shipment. The advertisement did not state that I only had 14 days to try and also didnot state I would automatically receive re-orders without my permission. This is false advertisement. They have already charged my credit card $175.90 on April 24, 2015. I was shocked and assumed it was for the trail offer.I paid this to my credit card. On 4/27/15 I received another order forBeau Derma and [redacted], which I did not order. I called to cancel allorders and want to return shipment received today. I was told by theirrepresentatives that they would cancel any future orders from beingshipped but I would again be charged for the order received on 4/27/15.In both the trail shipment and today's shipment sent to me, there wasno printed documentation enclosed in package stating terms and charges for these products. I was told I could not send back products received today, but they will cancel future shipments. I am willing to return items received today, but will not be held responsible to pay for them as they already billed me $175.90 and I did not order this. Both Beau Derma and [redacted] are pure scams.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that they take back shipment received today withno future billings to my credit card.

Response:

Hello,

Review: In early March 2015 I went to this website http://www.trybeauderma.com/ to take advantage of a free trial for $4.95. According to my bank account this company charged my account for the $4.95 and then again two weeks after I received their product. The second charge $89.95 for membership. What membership? There was no mention of a membership of $89.95 to receive the free sample. After further inspection of their website listed after inputting shipping information it states "I confirm that I am over 18 and agree to the terms and conditions of this site." I checked the box when I took advantage of the free offer. Unless you open the terms and conditions of the site you will not know about any other charges to your bank account. Secondly, the item came without any instructions for use of any kind. There are no ingredients listed on the package as well. I have not used the product because of this reason. I have cancelled the "membership" but I am out of my $89.95. There are no customer service reps to answers any complaints of this product. The phone number they provide only allows you to cancel your membership. Once you have cancelled the membership, the number hangs up after it tells you of your cancellation. I would hope that this business is investigated because of the large number of people that have been taken by them.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund. The purchase of this product was not mentioned anywhere on the website. The amount of $89.95 came as a complete surprise. I never expected to have been given a membership with this company. Their product can't be used because it doesn't list any ingredients or instructions. I will happily send it back to them. This was not a free trial as it stated. Please check into this company to insure that they are not scamming consumers on a regular basis.

Hello,

Review: Ordered a trial sample of this product was not informed that this would involve further shipments and was send another shipment of this product which I immediately returned for a full refund along with a tracking number from USPS have never received a refund So I called them after searching forever for a phone number and was told they could not refund my money without some kind of code which I was not aware of when I returned the product. I asked the person I was speaking with to check their computer to see if they had received a payment from me for $94.90 that they automatically withdrew from my account for the second shipment (they got my account information because I had to pay shipping on the trial sample) they informed me that yes that had received that payment I said then you know that I paid for the product I returned and you need to reimburse me for the full amount. Upon insisting he did say he could refund me half of the amount which I said it is better than nothing so I accepted this offer and said I would file a complaint I think I should receive my full refund since this is what I paid. This company is a rip off and need to be stopped Thank You for your help in resolving this.Desired Settlement: Would like a full refund on product returned

Hello,

Review: I accepted a trial start for skin product. I thought it was a 30 day trial. Later I was told it was a 14 day trial. I experienced an allergic reaction to the product. My eye lids from using the other product revita eye was burned. I immediately stopped using the product. I requested a refund but was told they don't give refunds. I have used very little of the product. I have communicated with the company several times. If the product as advertised guarantees 100 percent satisfaction, I should have a full refund minus shipping charges. I am not satisfied with the product. I can not use a product that I'm allergic to. The company should have a policy for the product that some women could have an allergic reaction to.Desired Settlement: I want a refund and an RMA to return the product.

Response:

Hello,

Review: Like many of the other complaints I have read...the advertising is absolutely false. There was nothing in the trial offer that automatically enrolled me into a monthly contract. I received my samples and within the month, had another order sent. I tried to contact them and not only was there NO INVOICE, NO ORDER NUMBER...NO PHONE etc...I literally had to track them down via the internet and call. After several "NO's" to accepting now 3 charges on my card, they agreed to cancel the last shipment and give me a refund. I am not sure this will happen, as the conversation went like this: ME: I am sending the product back and I want a full refund,...cancel any further shipments. Customer Care: politely said no...I was in a contract...I agreed to terms and conditions. ME: No I did not agree to any terms and conditions...I will report you to the Revdex.com. This went on for several minutes. She then puts me on hold, comes back and agrees to a 15% refund...again...few more adamant NO's and threats to the Revdex.com...she comes back on with a 50% refund...NO...I am sending the product back and I want a full refund....she then agrees to 1 refund... but gives me several numbers and instructions to return it. My guess is, that whatever they can get us to agree to (after rebutting) they will FINALLY refund...however, we will see if I actually get a refund at all. They will wear you down until you give in. I am sending back 3 items and will put a letter in the envelope for 3 refunds...we will see what happens. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. I want refunds on the unopened product. I look forward to a resolution.Desired Settlement: For the last two shipments: 89.00 x 2 and for some reason they charged me 94.00 on the first order (which I never signed up for) and any taxes and shipping fees...at least 274.00

Hello,

Review: Company billed my charge card on August 11, 2014 in the amount of $89.95 for a product that was never received by me. I was billed again on Sept. 8, 2014 for product I have not received, also in the amount of $89.95. Company claims the product should be received by me in 3-5 business days.

A free trial turned out to be a recurring monthly charge that needed to be canceled by me. However, no product was received by me in August but the company received payment of $89.95. On 9.11.14, I contacted company and they refused to refund the August charge of $89.95 for product I never received. And stated product billed on 9.8.14 should be received by me in 3-5 business days. If last month is any indication, I doubt product will arrive and so I am also demanding credit on my charge card for the September 2014 charge of $89.95 also. Total amount to be credited to my charge card is $179.90.Desired Settlement: Refund my credit card in the total amount of $179.90 for two charges of $89.95 made to my credit card in August and September 2014 respectively, and for which no product was received by me.
