I am rejecting this response because:Please Do Not Consider Matter Resolved!I received an email on 2/5/from your office and was assured I'd have business days to respond.This complaint has not been resolved and Ms Claire Bo*** of BedBathBeyond is misinformed.I was 'promised' a refund of just $which is the discounted price without taxes paid, So it is NOT a "full refund" -especially if you consider the high rate of sales tax we pay here in the *** *** area. I will not consider this case closed until I get an explanation for BedBathBeyond's bait and switch policysI do not understand how they believe they can deceive the public in such an outrageous wayThe FTC complaint is in place, but I worry that the occasional fines are just considered by BedBathBeyond to be a "cost of doing business" in the deceitful manner they have chosen. I still want the Bamboo Tea chest I ordered way back in early December This item is STILL to this very date being advertised and sold on line at BedBathBeyond.com for the clearance price of $ They also advertise two (2) other identical items:*** *** * compartment Bamboo Tea Box" for $and *** Bamboo Tea Box" for $ Any one of these identical products would be acceptable. I was promised business days to respond, I want you to keep this complaint open or open a new complaint until BedBathBeyond lives up to their promisesTo date they have not, they have not issued a FULL refund and I have not received the promised Bamboo Tea Box which, to this very date, continues to be advertised. I hope that this complaint along with the FTC complaint will be included to alert consumers that BedBathBeyond does not live up to their promises and that they are no longer a reputable business.If I receive full refund and or Bamboo Tea Box I will email you immediately!
