I am rejecting this response because:As we spoke on the phone today we do not accept the outcome of the complaint due to the following reasons. 1. We have never received a statement from Leaders. The only statement we received was a 990. 2. They are still making transactions on our account see attached. After saying they could not do a reimbursement due to our account being closed. If transactions continue we will be forced to notify our bank of fraudulent charges and turn over records to the FDIC for investigation. 3. We were advised when we set the account up there would be no termination fee. 4. We were also never advised of a monthly fee. We made it clear there would not be cards processed every month and they were fine with that. Regards,

LEADERS has reviewed our merchant service records and can confirm this merchant processed several thousand dollars in November 2017 however almost 10% of those transactions resulted in either a chargeback and/or retrieval. The amounts debited from this merchant’s account since November are a...
combination of fees and chargebacks. The Risk department released funds on February 2nd as well as February 28th. If this merchant has any questions regarding any chargebacks, LEADERS asks that this merchant contact the Chargeback department for more information.

I am rejecting this response because: There was nothing in any documentation that an account with Leaders Merchants takes 30 days to cancel. The assumption is that a cancellation of account form was sent to me via a Leaders Merchant customer service rep with the understanding that once signed and sent in, the account is closed on that day. Therefore, it is incumbent that Leaders refunds the remaining fees stolen from my checking account on or after Nov 5, 2015.This company is stealing from consumers and I have elevated this issue with a much higher authority in the government about this company. One way or another, I believe God is on my side and Leaders Merchants will be held accountable for not only stealing money from me but also the hundreds if not thousands of consumers. This is a criminal act and the CEO and those responsible for ordering this type of behavior should (and potentially will) be put in prison.

I am rejecting this response because: I was never made aware of the fees before signing any contract. It is the responsibility of the business to make the customers aware of any fees. Also when I called the customer service regarding higher charge for the credit card processing, once I was told that I would be refunded the excess charged credit card processing fees, the second time I called I was told that the higher fees was due because I had keyed in the transactions. I have used the credit card processing for only 2 transactions and both were swiped. This shows that Customer Service was not being truthful to me on both occasions. I am not happy with the business practices of this business. My complaint remains unresolved.

This resolution is accepted by me only because I don't have time to fight it. It is not acceptable because I have monthky statements that say this is not a bill and no where has it ever shown the $94.94 that was taken out every month. It shows the name of my business on my bank account Nowhere does it show Leaders Merchant They are scam artists and the monthly statements which I can prove show THIS IS NOT A BILL on the top of each statement NO I DID NOT KNOW I WAS BEING BILLED MONTHLYY THe representative who took my application on the phone told me my account would be free of monthly charges. Maybe that's why she is no longer working there. Advise dont use them, don't trust them, checik they have several bad reviews. Don't be fooled by them. I did not sign, it's done electronically when you do the on line app also they filled in the figures AFTER it was electronically signed. That is not the agreement I agreed to with the person taking the application. filled it in after I signed the electronic form.I settled I accepted for them closing the account with out early termination fees, but I am not happy I wanted at least a partial refund.j[redacted]

LEADERS has been serving merchants since 2000. We work hard
to resolve all complaints our merchants have as quickly and accurately as
possible. In our efforts to resolve this merchant’s issue, LEADERS has
thoroughly reviewed our Merchant Service records, which include the Merchant’s
signed...
Agreement. The Agreements, formed by the 4-page Merchant Application,
and Merchant Services' “Program Guide”, clearly indicate that the Merchant has,
in fact, been billed correctly according to the documents they signed. Our
LEADERS Support Department also attempted to retain the merchant by lowering
rates and fee back in July. The contract which all merchants are required to
sign ensures all parties involved understand the rates and fees that are going
to be billed to the merchant. All rates and fees have been clearly indicated in
the contract for the merchant to see prior to signing. This merchant’s signed
agreement acknowledges they read the agreement and agreed to all rates and
fees. As a good faith gesture, LEADERS will refund the Early Termination Fee of
$350. This refund will take approximately 7-10
business days. LEADERS wishes the merchant good luck and considers
this complaint resolved and closed.

I am rejecting this response because:This company made unauthorized withdrawals from my bank account. They changed the terms of my contract without my approval or authorization and began making sizable withdrawals from my checking account. At no time did I authorize these withdrawals. The contract terms I agreed to were no fees. The withdrawals did not show up under the name of Leaders Merchant either which caused a great deal of confusion for me. I have closed the account and with the Revdex.com help had those fees reversed but am still looking at unauthorized withdrawals which also caused an unexpected overdraft on the account which brought on additional fees. I have contacted the bank and they are able to reverse one of the three withdrawals as it falls within the acceptable range for them. There are still 2 additional withdrawals and the late fee which I would like to be reversed. In our efforts to resolve this merchant’s issue, LEADERS has thoroughly reviewed our merchant service records which includes the merchant’s signed agreement and recorded conversations....
This merchant was advised by our Installation Department the device this merchant was going to be using with our card reader was not compatible. Merchant advised our Installation Department she would purchase a new device therefore our Installation Department emailed her our compatibility list to ensure this merchant was able to use our card reader with her new device. During our follow up call to the merchant, this merchant was unable to access the app store therefore was unable to download our mobile application for the card reader. Once the mobile application was downloaded, our Installation Department attempted to assist the merchant with a test transaction however this merchant wanted to cancel without completing a test transaction. When the Account Executive went over the seasonal hold option with this merchant, he advised of a form that would need to be signed; however, our Support Department was able to make this change as a courtesy due to the issues this merchant was having with the card reader. The Support Department advised this merchant if they complete the PCI Survey then the account will be compliant therefore will not incur the PCI Non-Action fee of $40.00. If this merchant has a device that is compatible with our card reader then our Installation Department will be happy to continue the installation process so the merchant is able to process credit cards. If this merchant decides to close their account with LEADERS, we will waive the Early Termination Fee on the account.

This type of business is wrong. The phone representatives are to explain the process not with hold information. How can you condone such poor business practices? Again the phone representative who did not explain anything specifically did not work for leaders merchant services. The representative who sent me these false emails only prompted a product. Y his contact was a scam!

Per this merchant’s request, they were set for a manual batch. Because this merchant failed to close their own batches, LEADERS had to force close the batch so ensure the funds we deposited. As this merchant has been informed before, the ETF is the Early Termination Fee which will be waived from the collection balance once September’s fees have been paid. Unfortunately, LEADERS is unable to issue any refunds for potential revenue lost during power outages and/or terminal issues.

LEADERS made numerous follow up calls to the merchant with no return phone call. LEADERS received a notification that a customer of this merchant was disputing a $300.00 transaction. Because of this dispute, this merchant was billed a $15.00 Chargeback fee.
