LEADERS Merchant Services strives to provide every merchant with the highest quality merchant services possibleIn our efforts to resolve this merchant’s issue, LEADERS has thoroughly reviewed our Merchant Service records, which includes the merchant’s signed agreementAll fees this merchant has mentioned were either listed on the signed application or notified to the merchant via our monthly statement messageThis merchant spoke with our Customer Service Department on February 10th regarding fees that were charged and was given an explanation of these feesOur Customer Service department was also able to retain this merchant by lowering the ESP Fee and the Monthly MinimumThe $“additional fee” is part of our PCI Compliance LEADERS gives all merchants days to complete the PCI ComplianceIf after the the account is not compliant then a PCI Non-Action Fee is billedOur records indicate this merchant PCI Scan failed on March 30th therefore the account is still not compliantOur Customer Service Department also offered to refund this merchant one PCI Non-Action Fee once the account was compliant however, this merchant declined to do anything else associated with PCILEADERS did receive this merchant’s closure form on April 1st and will get the account closed as soon as possible

LEADERS Merchant Services strives to provide every merchant with the highest quality merchant services possibleIn our efforts to resolve this merchant’s issue, LEADERS has thoroughly reviewed our Merchant Service records, which includes the merchant’s signed agreementAll merchants are able to review the online application prior to signing as well as receiving a copy of the application via an emailed link after the application is submittedThe application that was reviewed and signed by this merchant shows the Monthly Minimum as well as the PCI Annual Fee that was billedOn January 19, 2016, our Customer Service Department attempted to go over fees that were billed however the merchant declined stating it wouldn’t be worth itA month later on February 16, this merchant contacted our Customer Service Department again to go over feesWhen we offered adjustments to retain the merchant, she declinedAll merchants who are set up with Payware as this merchant was, receive an email once the account is closed informing them the Payware Gateway has been deactivatedThat is the email this merchant receivedThe $that was billed was for the card reader that was part of the Free Terminal Program the merchant agreed toPer the Free Terminal Letter that was signed by the merchant, the free card reader was to be sent back to LEADERS within days of the termination dateBecause the reader was not returned, the merchant was billed for that readerIf merchant is able to send back the card reader, LEADERS will refund this merchant the $that was billed as long as the card reader is in good working conditionLEADERS asks that this merchant call our Tech Support Department with instructions on the return of the card reader

LEADERS has been serving merchants since We work hard to resolve all complaints our merchants have as quickly and accurately as possibleIn our efforts to resolve this merchant’s issue, LEADERS has thoroughly reviewed our Merchant Service records, which include the Merchant’s signed AgreementThe Agreements, formed by the 4-page Merchant Application, and Merchant Services' “Program Guide”, clearly indicate that the merchant has, in fact, been billed correctly according to the documents they signedThe contract which all merchants are required to sign ensures all parties involved understand the rates and fees that are going to be billed to the merchantAll rates and fees have been clearly indicated in the contract for the merchant to see prior to signingThis merchant’s signed agreement acknowledges they read the agreement and agreed to all rates and feesThis merchant has been in contact with our Customer Service Department regarding lowering fees which were updated on the account in NovemberOne of the fees that was billed for November is the PCI Annual Fee which is listed on page of the signed agreementLEADERS will refund the PCI Annual Fee that was billed as well as close the account per this merchant’s requestThe refund will take approximately 7-business daysLEADERS wishes the merchant good luck in future endeavors and considers this complaint closed

LEADERS billed this merchant for equipment per the signed ACH form that was receivedLEADERS will issue a refund for this merchant as the account was closed prior to equipment being mailed outPlease allow 7-business days for this refund to be processed

While LEADERS understands this merchant’s frustration, our Risk Management department followed Industry-wide standards and protocols by holding and validating any suspicious transaction or when a merchant process transactions outside the limits they requested when they applied for their account with usThis is done to protect cardholders, the banks involved in the transaction and LEADERS against the threat of fraudulent activityThis merchant’s account was approved February 5, and put on hold February 8, by our Risk Department due to several declines over the weekendBased on the Risk review, the account was closed February 10th and the merchant’s refunds were scheduled to be released that same day; however, additional information became available through a network of industry professionals that resulted in our reevaluating the risk associate with this merchants activityAs a result, it was determined by our Risk Department that we would have to keep the hold on this merchant’s funds for up to daysAfter additional work by the Risk Department, they were able to release the funds to the merchant on March 23, 2016, significantly less than the days mentioned aboveThe merchant no longer has funds on hold with us and therefore, we consider this issue is a closed matter

LEADERS can confirm this merchant has not been refunded the $100.00 that was paid via credit card as we do not have the credit card information. LEADERS asks that this merchant contact the Training and Installation Department with the credit card information to process the refund of $100.00.... Unfortunately the $35.00 that was charged was for shipping and we are unable to refund shipping.

Terminals that are provided by LEADERS are programed on a quarterly basis to pick up any updates. With Technology, we are unable to predict when an error that may arise. In this merchant’s case, LEADERS was able to assist this merchant by force closing two of their batches on two separate occasions... to ensure this merchant’s funds were deposited into their account. The closure form was emailed to this merchant multiple times and not received back from this merchant. This merchant was billed month end fees for the thousands of dollars that were processed in September; however, September’s fees rejected. LEADERS will waive the ETF from the collection balance once September’s fees have been paid.

As previously mentioned, this merchant signed the application on April 23rd and spoke with our Installation Department to get training on their card reader on May 2ndLEADERS wishes this merchant the best in future endeavors and considers this complaint closed

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: They have to issue refund to money collected without my permission which I find illegal, If they refuse I will go to press and other medias organization after days from today even I will make it know on face book and other network round the world on how they used their position to rub other peoplethey know they have collected over thousand plus from me without authority and they fill they can go free in America, as a citizen of this nation and human right activities I know what to do, but I am taking it slow, from my end even they should go back as when they started removing the money from my account thinking this man no nothing so they can collect as much as they want from his accountIf I take them to court I know how much I will collect for making my home and family into trouble even bank charge me over draft when I have no money in the account.After days I will go to court and press and all other media organization including CNN, FOX News and othersRegards, M [redacted]

LEADERS has reviewed our merchant service records and can confirm the delay with this merchant receiving their funds was due to banking issues on the merchant accountThis merchant first started processing the weekend of Friday February which caused the Risk Department to put a hold on the account due to the rejectsThis merchant’s banking information was then updated on the account Thursday February 15thThe closure form that was received did not have a signature and had a printed nameThe closure form with correct signature was received April 5th and the merchant account is in the process of being closedThe closure process can take up to days however, if this merchant has any additional questions, LEADERS asks that this merchant contact the Customer Service Department

LEADERS has reviewed our merchant service records and can confirm this merchant was billed PCI Non-Action fees due to not being PCI compliantThis merchant was advised about PCI Compliance via the monthly statement messageLEADERS can also confirm the representative did not state there would be
no cancellation feeUnfortunately, because this merchant’s account is now closed, LEADERS is unable to assist this merchant with the PCI compliance in order to refund some of those fees that were billed

LEADERS has reviewed our merchant services records and confirmed this merchant processed just shy of $4,during the time their account was openLEADERS does not show this merchant was billed $during their time with LEADERSOur Customer Service records show this merchant called on May 3rd
regarding feesThe Customer Service Department attempted to go over the fees billed however merchant just wanted to close their accountThis merchant also put a Stop Payment on their April Month End Fees as well as their Early Termination Fee therefore, unfortunately LEADERS is unable to issue any refunds for this merchant
