purchase. The last three cash back transactions, that are not reported on your account, were addressed the same day you contacted us, that is two days ago - 8/11/15. We have submitted a cash back inquiry to the retailers on your behalf. Most stores respond within 30 to 90 days. We will update you as soon as we receive a reply.Meanwhile, here are some useful tips for you:•    What can I do to make sure my cash back rebate is reported?While most cash back credits are reported automatically to your account by stores within 7 days, occasionally you may find a store that did not track your order. There are several ways to improve your tracking results. 1.    Use an internet browser that does not have add-ons or toolbars provided by other shopping-related sites, coupon sites, or cash back providers.2.    Be sure to disable any ad-blocking software running on your browser.3.    Verify that your browser is set to accept third-party cookies.4.    Begin your shopping session at BeFrugal with an empty shopping cart. 5.    Once you click through a cash back eligible link from BeFrugal, complete your purchase on the retailer’s website in a timely manner without browsing other pages.6.    When applying coupons, remember to use only those offered by BeFrugal. Using coupons from any other source might disqualify your purchase for cash back eligibility.      Use the BeFrugal Shopping Add-On to make it simpler to earn cash back and to ensure that you will not miss cash back and latest coupons while shopping online.•    Can Adblock and other toolbars/add-ons prevent me from earning Cash Back?Yes, add-ons such as Adblock may interfere with your Cash Back tracking. Please add your rejection comments below.Revdex.com:This is the same (unacceptable) responses I got via their ticket system (ticket # [redacted]). BeFrugal never provided any evidence of a check that was actually printed (a scan or copy). They claim one was sent but as proof they give a check #  (#[redacted], could be any # as far as I am concerned) and a screen shot of some system screen (attached) that is pretty meaningless since it does not even reference the check # they provided and does not contain any image of the check that was supposedly mailed. My mail does not get lost, this the first incidence in 8 years, I am in a semi-rural area and delivery is very dependable and theft has never happened, many much more valuable items arrive every week via [redacted] at the address. I do not believe that they ever mailed the check due me and they have provided absolutely no acceptable proof that they did.The balance of my account was $35, how convenient that the only mention of any check fee is buried deep in T&C that takes several clicks to get to and never mentions what the amount is, oh and now it just happens to be $35. When I was claiming my cash back ("checking out" so to speak) selecting what payment method to use there is no mention of the fee or the amount but you are prominently told that you can get a 3% bonus if you choose payment to [redacted] gift card. It is negligent to not just as prominently state that there is a fee imposed to reissue a check and to clearly state what that fee is on the same page. Only reason to omit this information is to scam the unwary like me.I have waited additional time after no resolution on my ticket with BeFrugal. It is now 7 weeks since a check is alleged to have been sent and a month since no resolution via BeFrugal ticket complaint. I think it safe to say that [redacted] will not be delivering the check that was allegedly sent.The check expires in 90 days per BeFrugal (printed on the check), at that point it is no longer valid to be honored by a bank yet they insist that they still have to charge $35, even for an expired check. If a bank honors an expired check the bank that honored it is liable, not the issuing bank. While I feel that any fee can be waived BeFrugal continues to insist that this is not possible, it is, they are just not willing to do it or absorb it. Total lack of any consideration for the customer.If it will do anything to advance towards resolving this issue I am willing to wait for the 90 day expiration of the check allegedly sent on 8/26/15 and recieve $35 via [redacted] gift card payment. As I stated in my original complaint to Revdex.com - barring that I want to recieve proof that they have paid a $35 fee to cancel the check that they allegedly sent me. As I stated before, BeFrugal should not get to keep my money due to this ruse, either I get the $35 or the bank/check issuer does to cancel the "lost" check. The only issue re this is maybe it is not possible to cancel a check that was never issued/sent??

On September 16, 2016, [redacted] placed two orders with [redacted] (retailer order numbers [redacted] and [redacted]). No commission-eligible sale was tracked from [redacted] to BeFrugal.com. In response to the customer’s request, we submitted two separate inquiries with [redacted], asking that they...

recheck their sales records for these transactions to determine if a commission was owed to BeFrugal as a result of the purchases. Both inquiries were declined by [redacted] response via their affiliate platform is that the two purchases in questions were not traced to BeFrugal because they were instead attributed to another affiliate partner.   The tracking of cash back sales is based on a cookie that is set on the customer’s browser when they click through eligible links on BeFrugal.com. In this case, the customer either had a competing cookie on their browser before or somehow acquired one after clicking through BeFrugal. Among other options, this can happen if the customer a) clicks through another link in a shopping search engine, newsletter, or third-party website (including advertisements), b) has a shopping browser extension for a third-party installed on the computer browser which they are using, c) have malware installed, or d) similar options unique to the customer’s shopping pattern, for example to use the coupon that is listed on BeFrugal, click on the Coupon.   As specified in the BeFrugal terms and conditions to which the customer has agreed, while we will do our best to pursue with a retailer any claims for non-credited transactions, if a retailer does not ultimately issue payment to BeFrugal, we are unable to provide cash back. All cash back is the shared component of the commission paid to BeFrugal. Without a commission for an order, the shared component cannot exist. Regards,BeFrugal Team

There are many Terms for BeFrugal and I didn't notice the multiple accounts limitation when I created my accounts.  Actually, I should have 3 valid accounts for my household as following.#1) [redacted], this is for my wife.#2) [redacted], this is for my kid.#3) [redacted] this is for myself.My wife and Kid are not good internet player and that's why I created accounts for them.  I usually do same thing for them on other online systems.Here is my first ask.  These 3 accounts should be reactivated as they are for different family members and I'll correct the personal info when they are reactivated.  Bottom line, my account [redacted] should be reactivated.The second ask, when I sent message to BeFrugal and check why my account was deactivated, why no response?I am okay to close all other accounts including this one if the above 2 asks are resolved.

I placed the same order on another cashback site and received 8% cashback for the sofa purchase on [redacted] ($600). I am sure that befrugal is intentionally not paying cash back for the high dollar purchases as other reviewers mentioned on Revdex.com. Buyers should be aware that befrugal is intentionally doing this and do not buy through them. I would like to post this complaint on this forum. Regards,

The customer has a dispute filed with Choice Hotels. This dispute was submitted by customer to BeFrugal on April 18, 2017 (yesterday). It is currently pending review by the retailer. It is only one day old. We will notify the customer once we receive additional information from Choice Hotels....

  The customer had a separate dispute filed in the past with [redacted]. This dispute was declined, with [redacted]n stating they have already issued payment for this booking to another affiliate partner. As the customer went through another source prior to this booking and that source was paid, BeFrugal will not receive payment and cannot provide cash back. Regards,BeFrugal Team

One does not need to read terms and conditions to understand that creating over twenty different accounts with different names is a violation in ANY business that sends payments and bonuses to their new customers.Please note that the email accounts [redacted] lists in his complaint – all have different names on them:[redacted] Due to violations of the BeFrugal Terms & Conditions, which the customer agreed to at the time of the signup to BeFrugal, approximately two dozens of the accounts associated with this user were disabled and removed from our system.Thanks,BeFrugal Team

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and still want my account reactivated because that email they referenced ended up in my spam folder which I don't check because it contains over 100,000 junk emails. It is not reasonable for BeFrugal to expect me to be able to find a single email amongst the hundreds of thousands in the spam folder. Now having filtered for that email, it states :
Hello,
Your current payment request has been flagged for suspicious activity. The activity in the payment request has been deemed by the merchant to be not a verifiable transaction. As such payment will not be sent at this time. If you believe this is an error on the merchants part and have support to confirm the transaction please contact our customer support department.

The email contents do not specially mention that the account was flagged for fraud. It only states that the cashback was being denied because the purchase could not be verified; nor does the email give a deadline by which a response is required.  In light of the aforementioned email and the response received via Revdex.com, I can in fact provide evidence proving the individual identities of all the accounts mentioned in BeFrugal's Revdex.com response. Moreover, I do not have the BeFrugal Add-On installed in my computer. I do not download any extraneous programs and tools onto my computer and have even double checked for the installation of the BeFrugal Add-On. It is not there. I even clear my browsing history and saved passwords on an hourly basis and I am still able to log into my BeFrugal account.

Dear [redacted], I will be happy to resolve the mystery.We have a record of your shopping via BeFrugal at [redacted] on May 28, 2016, $632.32 sale, $44.26 cash back, order #[redacted]. You are getting cash back for this purchase.Regarding the June 8, 2016 shopping trip that you refer to in your letter, we did not have any Memorial Day special on BeFrugal site. The only promotion we had was a Memorial Day newsletter. It was sent on May 27th (not in June) featuring 7% (not 8%) Cash Back for [redacted]. In the months of May and June 2016 the highest cash back rate on BeFrugal.com for [redacted] was 7%! It only means, you were not shopping via BeFrugal on June 8th, 2016.Check your [redacted] browser history (enable Views/Show Columns/Most Recent Visit to see the dates)Since BeFrugal is not receiving a commission for the mentioned transaction, there would be no way for us to pass this commission on to you in the form of cash back. Regards,BeFrugal TeamP.S. The customer has had three inquiries regarding non-tracked purchases. Two of the three have already been declined by the retailers. As an affiliate partner of [redacted]’s is already receiving a commission and as that partner is not BeFrugal.com, we are unable to forward the commission to the user as cash back. [redacted] – Order #[redacted]: The transaction was declined by [redacted] with the following explanation “Denied: Order Credited to Another Channel”. While this response is less specific than [redacted]’s, it still indicates that the retailer has successfully tracked the order and determined that BeFrugal is not a source eligible for commission. [redacted] – Order #[redacted]: BeFrugal submitted an inquiry to the [redacted] affiliate program on December 14, 2016 in response to a request from the customer. This inquiry has not been reviewed or resolved by the [redacted] affiliate program yet. Once they provide further information, this will be forwarded to the retailer.The best recommendation for you is to download a browser, for example [redacted], and dedicate it solely to BeFrugal Cash Back shopping. Do not install any add-ons or toolbars on the browser. Do not use the browser for anything but BeFrugal Cash Back shopping. No discounts/coupons/links etc. were used in placing this order specifically because I wanted to be sure the cash back would process correctly as this was a substantial order (~$500.) I am well aware that the use of said discounts/coupons/links would void the cash back terms which is why I made certain not to use them in placing this order. I have no idea why the cash back is not approved. I clicked through BeFrugal's portal before making my purchase, the click activity was logged, and I placed my order. I did everything I was supposed to do for this to process correctly, and they are still refusing to credit me with the cash back I am supposed to receive.
