Since you were placing the orders via work computer, it has some security settings that the company will never disclose to us to proceed with researching the issue.There is nothing else we are able do at this point. I complained to befrugal and to you and they closed my account. The response to this complaint from the company is UNACEPTABLE. They never email me or call me. When I filed this complaint they closed my account and have not in any way refunded me or given me my expected money. Regards,

You have made false promises and representations regarding the money that would be paid to customers who use your portal to shop. You allow the companies to set their own time table because it benefits you -- you receive the "click through" commission yet you have 2-3 months (if not forever) without having to pay anything towards the people that generated that revenue for you.

If befrugal.com claimed that I didn't get the cashback because [redacted] didn't issue it, at least they could give me [redacted]'s contact information to let me resolve the issue myself. If it's because I did something wrong, then why I received the cashbacks for the other lines except this one when I did exactly the same for all the lines?

[So, basically they are saying that they have a referral bonus, but if you refer someone, then they will close your account. That does not make any sense to me. They probably looked at the accounts and found everything to be valid. so now they are saying Accounts can be terminated whenever they want..blah blah blah I may still file in small claims court, but either way, I am finding [redacted] and [redacted] to be much more reliable and better than these jokers]

because the customer modified the initial order so that they could complete an exchange. The customer contacted BeFrugal on March 20, 2017 and informed BeFrugal of the exchange. Making any change to an order – such as a cancellation, partial return, or exchange – will void cash back eligibility. For the customer to have received cash back, they would have needed to cancel the entire purchase and then place a new order. This information is provided to the customer in the BeFrugal Cash Back FAQ. Unfortunately, as this transaction does not qualify for cash back, we are unable to assist. I still disagree with the reasoning, but I accept the outcome. I realize that if [redacted] does not track the sale, then you cannot do anything. However, I am certain I click through from Befrugal to make this sale. In the future, you need to come up with a way to let your customers know if the sale is being tracked immediately so they can correct the situation.

The customer notified BeFrugal of orders they believe should have qualified for a commission with BeFrugal. Because these orders were not traced by the individual retailer back to BeFrugal, this indicates the retailers did not originally determine BeFrugal was the source of the sale. In...
response to the customer’s requests, we have reached out to several retailers to see if they believe BeFrugal is owed commission for these sales. Currently, the customer has five inquiries that are still open. This means BeFrugal has reached out to these five retailers but we have not received a resolution to the cases. The oldest of these is from 14-JAN-2015.We will reach out to the retailers again this week to see if they can provide an update on these orders. If they indicate that BeFrugal is owed a commission, the commission will added to the customer's account in the form of cash back.

The retailer, www.booking.com, labeled transactions relevant to this customer as fraudulent and retracted the cash back. We contacted the retailer regarding this customer. Booking.com re-reviewed this customer’s account one more time and indicated that it failed the fraud review...
process twice. Determinations of fraud are made by the retailer and not BeFrugal. We have no involvement in payments between customer and retailer.All we can do is re-submit your case to booking.com one more time. They didn't send me any emails. I have just logged in to my account on their website, and there are few responses, which you can find only if you know where to look.. How strange is that -- why there is no emails or email notifications? how would I know that they even responded?Further, they asking me to "confirm my purchase activity over the phone" and asking for a phone number. Seriously? The merchants confirm purchase activity for them, what else do they want from the customer?I've been using various cashback sites for years, and never received any odd requests like this one. I think that they just trying to make it as hard as possible for the customer to get the money that he/she earned), so many people would simply give up, and then they can keep the money. And it says in my account: Requested: 05-Oct-2015; Processing. Payment will be sent within 10 business days. How many business days have passed since October 5?Again, some strange shady policy, so inconvenient that most will simply let them keep the money.

[As I mentioned, I purchased these for family and friends who normally don't use Cashback sites. These are cheap laptops and there is nothing wrong with people taking advantage of the low price. These are not used for resell.Online Cashback sites are notorious for getting commission from retailers and refuse to credit to customers who clicked through the cashback links, especially when the cashback amount is higher than usual. I am not saying Befrugal.com is doing just that, but they should provide a more satisfactory solution to their clients when this happens, instead of simply refuse to pay any cashback. ]
