Thank you for explaining how business works, I was always wondering how people get paid ...  Since you took the time to explain how a sales clerk is paid, I will take the time to explain how customer service works. I'd like to start with an explanation of "Customer Service", as that does not seem to be your company's strength. As stated in the dictionary, Customer service is the provision of service to customers before, during and after a purchase. I would like to draw your attention to the last part of the definition which points out that "Customer Service" does not stop after your customer clicks a button - it goes beyond that point. I understand that this must be a real revelation for business and to make sure you really understand what I am trying to say, let me give you an example: If a customer purchases a defective good from a retailer at a discount and exchanges the product for another, likekind product the next day, he will not be required to return the discount that was initially extended to him. (that's called a functioning purchase and return policy) A company with a good customer service department could even go as far as following up with the customer to make sure he/she is content with the exchange. But I am getting into advanced methods of customer service which I don't want to confuse you with. Here is my suggestion on how my issue could have been handled: After the retailer cancelled the credit your customer service department could have sent me a notification letting me know that the credit was at risk. Well, and if you really wanted to excell, you could have asked me for the receipt of the new purchase and I am sure someone in your organization would have been able to reapply the credit.  Why should you go through the hassle of doing this? Well, that how you make money, isn't it? And considering you probably get 5-10% commission on my purchase, I tend to believe that a $2750 purchase would have been worth your while.  Whoever has equity in your company should be worried  as you are battling with me over doing the right thing. Do you people have any common business sense?

In the businesses own words the dispute of the $11+ is SINCE AUGUST.  We are currently at the end of November!  To think I would shop anymore through them is ridiculous.  I work with [redacted] all the time and any disputes are handled the SAME DAY!  To the say the customer needs to keep waiting is BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!  Be Frugal needs to get on the phone with [redacted] and resolve this immediately so that I can get my $.  As far as the $10 in opening bonus - that cannot be withdrawn till the $25 in cashback has been reached.  Playing wordgames is ridiculous all around.

I understand your frustration. We delivered the details of your case to [redacted] and we still got declined with the same reply "Transaction Referred by Another Affiliate." It means [redacted] had paid the commission, but not to BeFrugal but someone else. Our hands are tied at this point. As specified in the BeFrugal terms and conditions to which the customer has agreed, while we will do our best to pursue with a retailer any claims for non-credited transactions, if a retailer does not ultimately issue payment to BeFrugal, we are unable to provide cash back. My complaint lies mostly within the company not keeping the support ticket updated with the response from [redacted] Now until long after(45 days) there was any recourse(cancel and rebuy) I could have taken, and only then because I requested a response since their website states that one should wait 45 days for cashback. I believe the [redacted] website is set up in such a way that a popup window during sign up will break the affiliate link required for tracking. There was no other affiliate used and I believe that [redacted] tracked this as an organic or non-referral sign up. I understand that there is no payment from [redacted] and therefore no percentage of the payment can be made to me. At this point I am willing to accept an apology as I hope they are now aware that timely correspondence with their customers will be beneficial to both the company and the customer.

A dispute regarding this customer's purchase had already been submitted to the retailer for review. Unfortunately, the retailer had denied the inquiry, stating that another affiliate partner pushed this sale to their site. As a result, they have already paid the other company for referring this...

sale. The company will not pay multiple companies. As the customer visited another affiliate partner and that partner was paid, there is no way for BeFrugal to provide cash back.It could be a coupon not listed on BeFrugal or another shopping/coupon browser extension that sent the cash back to a different company. Regards,BeFrugal Team

Attached is the documentation for the case [redacted]. Which should not be closed. As you can see from the case, at first befrugal stated that [redacted] never responded to them, then they said they did respond to them, but they are not providing any documentation as a result of this. I have included the order as well as shipping information. The order was placed and received as stated. Please reopen this case and investigate it !

I did not contact the customer service team at [redacted] due to my own accord.  They did not "assist" me in any way.  They simply verified my address to confirm that the order was not fraudulent since my shipping address and my billing address are not identical to one another.  If I cancelled the order and re-ordered, the same issue would occur so your response does not make any sense at all.  I have NEVER had an issue such as this with any other cash-back website.

Business fails to address the concern raised wherein I state that I have had to inquire about the status of 13 cashback transactions that were not tracked over the last two months.  Moreover, the other reputable cashback sites offer the customer an email indicating a click has been activated via its site to the merchant; however, BeFrugal.com does not.  I believe this is done so that when a cashback inquiry is made, the customer has no recourse.  Finally, BeFrugal.com does not provide any details as to why an inquiry is declined and when pressed for these details they indicate that they cannot be provided.  It is very clear that BeFrugal.com will 100% side with the merchant in any cashback inquiry that is declined without looking at the facts.

I know that users are not obligated to use BeFrugal.  But users should expect BeFrugal’s website statement to click here and receive a rebate on [redacted] purchases to be valid and to then make a purchase with the assumption that the final price will be reduced by the promised rebate.  BeFrufal should be able to track purchases made through their website and to get the appropriate payment from [redacted].  I don’t know what arrangement BeFrugal has with [redacted], but it should not be a speculative one.  And if it is speculative, then consumers should receive adequate notification of the arrangement.              The [redacted] purchase that I mentioned in my last communication was made on December 20, well after my BeFrugal/[redacted] purchases on December 1 and December 7 and well after I contacted BeFrugal about my missing rebates.  My [redacted] purchase had no effect upon my BeFrugal purchases.  Please note that I always close my browser and then reopen it prior to making a purchase from BeFrugal, [redacted] or any of their competitors.             I followed all of the rules that were imposed by BeFrugal.  I did not get my rebate because of a faulty arrangement between BeFrugal and [redacted].  I understand that [redacted] is big, but they should be able to track purchases and respond to inquiries from BeFrugal regarding transactions.  If BeFrugal is unable to properly track their [redacted] transactions they should warn potential purchases of that fact.

The customer created multiple accounts using the BeFrugal Refer-A-Friend program. Per the BeFrugal terms and conditions, committing fraud through the Refer-A-Friend program will result in closure of accounts and forfeiture of earnings. Regards,BeFrugal Team

I don't think I have any fraudulent activity. I referred my parents, they told me they have trouble when payout. Now all of our account was closed without any reason.
