After over hours without water and much aggravation with another plumber, Ben Franklin arrived in the form of [redacted] He assessed the situation, I told him what I wanted done, he gave me an estimate with which I agreed and he assured me the job would be completed that dayWhat more could I ask for? Great job, done in a timely manner AND he even cleaned up! A customer could get spoiled like this!

I am rejecting this response because: Benjamin Franklin Plumbing again did not address the actual reason for the complaint, similar to when I spoke with them on the phoneThe reason I raised a complaint is because they damaged my shower during their attempted repairThat is the just reason why I'm seeking a solution/compensation to repair the showerMost reputable businesses are more than happy to admit and accommodate when they have made a mistake so I'm not sure why they put up such a big blockade for this case The response from Benjamin Franklin does contain misinformation and a number of statementsI'm not going to address those statements individually here because it really is not pertinent to the complaint at handI did provide feedback that I thought the pricing was too high, in my opinion, after Benjamin Franklin confirmed the technician had scoped the work properlyHowever, that is not and never was the reason for my complaintBenjamin Franklin made the issue into a pricing dispute rather than about the damage they caused to my shower, which is similar to the response they provided through the Revdex.com

We had a water line break under the slab of a house and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing responded almost immediately The technician, John R., spent a great deal of time researching the issue and gave us two different options for solution On the day of repair we asked John to consider a different approach to the more expensive option we had chosen which would reduce the cost by $1,IF SUCCESSFUL (no guarantee) John said it was a reasonable idea and went to work The issue was successfully resolved using this method Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is extremely competent, and their technicians are experts

When MrsWeiss initially called us on 9/16/17, she stated that another company snaked the sewer line and hit something at about feet and their equipment was not strong enough to punch through itWe sent a drain technician out and they cabled her main line through the outside clean out to clear the blockageWe were called back out due to the sewer line backing up again on 10/20/Our Project Manager cameraed the line and was able to clear blockages due to root intrusion but found multiple breaks in the line, major root intrusion and orange burg piping that was blistering heavily into the crawl spaceHe was not able to get past where there was a major break in the lineHe offered her Straight Forward Pricing to replace the sewer line with a year warranty, which she declinedHe also called her and gave her straight forward price to repair the line for $5,which she also declinedIf roots are compromising the sewer line, that constitutes a failure in the line and clearing it is only a temporary repairWe offered her a permanent solution to an on-going issue

Wayne K from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came by and installed my new dishwasher He was most professional and courteous and was completely done in less than a half hour He was punctual and I personally appreciate that!

It's true that we used a second moving company to move our belongings from storage to our house but if Isaac's had taped the hardware pieces to the furniture it's extremely implausible that they would have separately fallen off each of the three pieces that cannot be assembledWe can’t even live in our new house because we don’t have beds or a crib for our five month old.I am not sure what they meant that they’re trying to resolve the issueOur take-away from them was that because we used a second moving company it was obviously the fault of the second movers and therefore Isaac’s wouldn’t help usIt’s always possible that all of the pieces fell off during the second move, but as noted above very unlikely.Regards, [redacted]
