Hi,*I write in regards to the above referenced complaint submitted to your office by... Mr.***. We regret any confusion or inconvenience he experienced when doing business with our company and trust that this letter will address his concerns. Our records show that on 7/31/2015, after making a purchase at [redacted] ***, [redacted] was offered a $10 cash back rebate on that purchase. [redacted] clicked on the offer and arrived on our registration page, which provided full details about the membership program and how he can try the program at no cost for 7 days. The membership fee was listed directly next to where [redacted] would have entered his credit card information. Also, he had to agree to the terms and conditions that were listed on this page, which again listed the membership fee. The terms also explained that if he did not cancel his membership by the end of the trial, his membership would automatically continue and the monthly membership fee would be charged to the credit card account that he provided. We have issued a refund for the membership fees that [redacted] was charged. Those refunds should post back to his account within 2-5 business days. If [redacted] has any additional questions he can certainly reach out to me directly.

Hi, As an initial matter, we would like to note that [redacted] complaint with your office is entirely without merit as he mis-used our service for unauthorized purposes, in violation of our terms of use We have accordingly terminated his membership with us As background, we host a membership program that allows consumers the ability to, among other benefits, obtain rebates for 10% cash back on products purchased from various online merchants, which is paid out in the form of a check each calendar quarter Consumers enroll in our program online, which involves their providing personal contact and account information for program billing, and reading and agreeing to our terms of use, which, among other things, prohibits the use of our program for commercial purposesWe believe that [redacted] a used our service for a commercial enterprise, in violation of our membership terms First, [redacted] admitted to using this program for commercial use Also, the address listed on the account is a business address In our experience, accounts displaying these types of characteristics typically involve a commercial enterprise, and as a result, we terminated [redacted] a’s membership, which we have the right to do under the program termsAs a courtesy accommodation, which we are not obligated to do, we issued [redacted] a full refund of his membership fees However, we refuse to honor his rebate requests due to his misuse and abuse of our program Thanks!

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint [redacted] reached out to us directly to reissue these checks After looking into his issue, we refunded checks from 8/11/and 4/12/to him We also sent him a list of all the checks that were already cashed If *** [redacted] still has any questions regarding his account he can contact us directly, and we can send him the additional informationThanks!

Hi,
I’m writing in regards to the above referenced complaint
submitted to your office by Mr***. We regret any confusion
regarding the membership fee with ***.com and trust that this letter
will address his concerns.
When signing up for
his account, it stated right next to
where he would have entered his credit card information that he will be billed
$per month for the monthly membership fee. After signing up Mr
*** would have received a welcome email from us, in that email it
would have explained the monthly membership fee as well.
Mr*** contacted our company on 7/24/2015, we
issued refunds to his account as requested by him. Then, on 7/26/
we received a dispute from his bank regarding those charges. Since we had
already refunded those charges to him we disputed that chargeback with his
bank. Mr*** should have received the $back in his
account by now. If not, please let me know and I would be happy to look
into this further for him
If you have any other questions please let me know and I
would be more than happy to help
Thanks,
***

Hi, I am writing in regards to the above referenced complaint
submitted to your office by Mrs***. We regret any confusion or
inconvenience she experience when doing business with our company and trust
that this letter will address her concerns.
Mrs*** saw our offer on
*** on 11/29/when she was
making a purchase. Once she clicked the
offer it would have connected her to the registration page on our site, which
provided full details about the subscription program, including the monthly
subscription for $12.97, and instructions on enrolling in the program at no
cost for days. The terms on that page explained that if she did not
cancel her subscription by the end of the review, her subscription would
automatically continue and the monthly subscription fee would be charge to the
credit card account that she provided.
Our records show that she completed the registration process by
providing her full contact and account information and clicking the button that
states, “I agree to the offer details and the Terms of Use & Service” just
below the offer terms. Additionally, next to where the credit card
information was entered, was the subscription fee that be charged if her
account was not cancelled in the review period. Shortly thereafter we
sent Mrs*** a welcome email, again stating the terms of the subscription
and including the subscription fee.
Mrs*** contacted us on 2/9/and we issued a full refund
back to her account. That total amount
will be $and should post within 2-business days.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and I
would be more than happy to speak to Mrs*** directly about this.
She can contact me directly at ###-###-####.
Thanks!
Mike

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
I can only say that I was led to believe that I was registering with *** in order to get free shipping from them in the future and was not subscribing to a service that I would have to pay for I would NEVER have subscribed to a free trial for anything because I know what a hassle it is to cancel At any rate I never received *** *** on anything from *** and it is simply not reasonable for them to refuse a refund for services that were not provided My credit card information was entered on the screen because I was purchasing from *** and they could easily have captured the information there At the very least, the company did not operate in good faith.I did some research and found that a lot of people have been victimized by this company See the sample screen attached. There is no way the company can make this right for me My concern is for other people who may be similarly deceived I would like this case to be closed but *** deserves no credit for resolving this complaint
Sincerely,
