I received excellent service, a low interest rate, and it was easy to apply for. The funds were deposited in my account exactly as they said. I was impressed.

Review: I simultaneously completed a loan application with Best Egg and another company. The other company gave me a better rate, so I called to cancel my loan application with Best Egg. I was told that if I did not proceed any further with my application (specifically supplying verification documents) that the application would be cancelled. The next day, I received an e-mail saying that my bank account would be credited with the loan funds. I never even signed a loan acceptance agreement, but funds were sent to my bank account. I again called and was told that the loan would be rescinded. My loan account was credited for the money that was sent to my bank account, but according to the loan account website, I still owe the origination fees. All for a loan that I never actually signed to receive. This situation is the result of very poor customer service, and I am disappointed with Best Egg.Desired Settlement: I would like this loan application completely canceled--and I mean completely. I would like a correction to my credit report--I never actually took this loan.

Had Best Egg's customer service been attentive the first time I called, this situation likely could have been avoided.

Review: I received a pre approved offer letter for $50,000,it stated I received the letter because I met certain criteria for creditworthiness,I decided to try and see if what they stated on the letter was true, decided to fill up the on line offer and was denied without further explanation.A couple of days after the first letter arrived I received a second offer on the mail this time the offer was $40,000. just out of curiosity log back into the site enter the new offer code,and email the system automatically rejected or denied me,access to change the new loan amount.I'm writing this complaint because I want to know what are the laws or rules to meet the criteria used to approve loans,and why if I was already labeled as not meeting their criteria I keep on getting their pre approved offers.And if my credit score was affected by this I want my credit score to be corrected.Desired Settlement: I want explanation from the business,about their criteria for loan qualification. and or My credit score not to be affected by this.

We have established criteria used to meet loan eligibility requirements, one of which is the absence of current delinquency. We mailed a letter explaining this decision on Monday 7/13. If you didn't receive it or need another copy, please let us know. The letter also gives directions on how to obtain a free copy of your Experian credit report where you can also dispute inaccurate information. Lastly, we send mail to our print vendor a month in advance. Often, customers are scheduled to receive multiple offers in any given month which resulted in your receiving an additional offer after this loan request was declined. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please reach out if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Review: I called about a best egg promotion that I received in the mail. The person I spoke with told me that to fill out an application and then they would know the loan amount and interest rate of the loan. It was somewhat confusing because the loan was approved but there were 2 % rates; 14.15% and 17%. She tried to explain that the interest was really only the 17% APR and not a combination of the 2. I was told what the monthly payment would be over 3 years. However later when I calculated the monthly payment across 36 payments, I realized that I was paying 26% interest!! I called back to cancel this loan. Of note, I initially applied on a Thursday and called back on Friday. I spoke with at least 3 different people at Best Egg on Friday. The first person assured me that I was only paying the 17% and that as he had been in the mortgage business he knew how to calculate interest. When he did the math (while I was on the phone) he said that he could see what I was talking about and that he would have to talk to his supervisor. I also told him that I wanted to cancel this process. He came back and gave me a different number to call. I called that number and spoke with Sean, who told me that since my loan hadn't funded they couldn't do anything about cancelling the process and that I would have to wait till they funded the loan, then call back and have the funds transferred back to them. I called another number and spoke with Sally. I explained that I wanted to cancel the loan, and since it hadn't funded yet this would be the time to stop the transaction. She sounded very sincere and apologized for the run-around I was getting with Best Egg and told me that she couldn't do anything about stopping the funding because it appeared that the process had already been stopped.

That night at 8:21 I received an e-mail that the loan had been funded. Today, Saturday, I tried to call and talk with someone to cancel this (we have a limited amount of time to cancel), however they were already closed. I have to call Monday morning before going in to work to try to deal with this and get it canceled.

My advice to anyone considering this company, look really hard at the interest rate and do not believe what you see. Do the math on the amount you are actually paying back and calculate the interest rate from that. In my circumstance what was supposed to be 17% and which I agreed to, was actually 26%. I felt that no matter how sincere the people I spoke with sounded, this company was trying to take me for a ride, and is trying to make it very difficult for me to cancel this process within the limited time allowable after the funding.

Someone should be investigating BestEgg and the misleading business practices going on. Getting consumers to agree to one % rate, and then to find later that they are being charged a higher % rate is not honest or truthful business disclosure.Desired Settlement: I want this processs stopped. I want them to take back their money with no funds owed by me. They took out a 'loan origination fee'. They should only take back the exact amount that they put into my checking account. I would like e-mail confirmation of what they have done and verification that the loan process was stopped and that do not owe them anything.

A call with an apology would be also be nice.

If this company really is interested in providing a service to their customers then they should look into incidents such as this and come up with a business/marketing strategy that is an accurate representation of what they are offering.

thank you for the oppurtunity to borrow money. the experiance was quick. a few questions and I was done. thank you again.

I also had many mixed feelings and concerns regarding Best Egg. I learned about them via mail and honestly started to toss it in the trash like so many other advertisement sales ads. I thought alright lets check this out' so glad I did. I called them... very simple, easy process. I qualified for much more than I was asking but only needed a certain amount to payoff two separate credit cards. It took exactly 2 days for the money to drop into my bank account. Best Egg is the best! I have great credit and an excellent long term work history. My interest rate on my cards where absolutely ridiculous. I paid them all off! My interest rate now is over less than half of what it used to be. Although I just became a new customer I am very happy as of now and would highly recommend them.

I too was sent an offer stating that I was pre-approved, yet was told that there were no offers for me at this time. I have good credit, make plenty of money, and all I was trying to do was to consolidate all my credit cards to one manageable payment that would be paid off in 3 years, yet was not found any offers at this time. Very frustrating to say the least

I have never reviewed anything online ever. With that being said, I decided to write this review because I almost did not apply for this loan due to the negative reviews that I read. My experience was seamless. I applied online with the pre approval code that I received in the mail. I was given three loan options. I waited one day to make a decision and then I chose the loan that was best for me. I received one phone call from customer service offering assistance with any questions that I had. I submitted my documents and the funds were in my account the next day. I then registered my account for online access and everything is there for you. With the online access you can make extra payments or even pay off your loan early as well as switch from autopay and many other features. The application process and funding was much easier and quicker than I expected and I would definitely recommend Best Egg to anyone trying to get out of debt

Review: I received a call from phone number [redacted] today (9/19/15). I answered the call and was asked "Is this [redacted]?". I replied "yes who is this?" Response was "[redacted]". I said [redacted]?" Her reply "Yes it is, I'm sorry I didn't mean to call you." And then she hung up. [redacted] is an ex tenant of mine. I evicted her a month or so ago in [redacted] Court. [redacted] is not supposed to be contacting me and her personal cell number is blocked from calling my line but today she used her work number to call me. I was able to speak with a manager and confirm that [redacted] works at the Best Egg Loan Verification Department here locally. I have several concerns.

1) I have no business with Best Egg whatsoever and so they should not be contacting me.

2) More specifically an employee named [redacted] is specifically not supposed to be contacting me however she is and doing so through this business.

3) In the credit verification industry employees often have access to databases involving other peoples personal credit history etc. Due to the nature of her new job [redacted] could be trying to use her resources at Best Egg to learn, harm, or investigate my my personal credit history. She could be trying to open a fraudulent loan using my name and whatever personal information she has gathered about me during our relationship. She could also be pulling my credit history to learn my home address, debts and credit lines, assets, or other personal information etc.

4) An employee at Best Egg is handling is not doing her job but rather settling personal matters on company time and telephone.

5) It is unprofessional for a company such as Best Egg to allow an employee to harass their old landlord under the disguise of Best Egg.

6) What was the purpose of [redacted]'s phone call to me today? Was it to harass me?

I do not know what [redacted]'s intention is nor do I know why she was thinking of me and calling me from a Best Egg Loan Verification Center that she apparently works but it is highly suspicious to say the least. I did not even know she worked there until this afternoon. I was able to confirm this and ask a floor supervisor to speak with her on Monday when [redacted] returns to work. I need to know that a manager does in fact speak to [redacted] about what has happened and assure me that it wont happen again and hopefully that [redacted] isn't able to cause me any harm from her place of work. A fax number for the Verification center is [redacted] and the way to call and speak with a supervisor at [redacted]'s location is by dialing [redacted] and selecting option 2. If there is any doubt that what I've said is true I have photo verification of my incoming call log showing the number above, time, date, and duration of call. This happened. Please help me resolve it.Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to be reprimanded and dealt with for her inappropriate contact. I would also like reassurance that no further contact from this establishment will be made once this has been resolved. And finally I would like to know if I have any reason to be alarmed in the event foul play was involved (aka fraudulent loans, credit checks, soft credit pings, etc)

I appreciate your help very much. After the gentlemen from corporate got involved I am very satisfied with the way things were handled and feel much more at peace with what occured. He was very thorough and handled my complaint with the utmost respect and care. I applied for my loan last week. I understood the that if I signed my agreement that it would be an interest rate of my history. I was very satisified with my rate. I had applied to another company and I got a 22% rate compared to the 13% I got from Best Egg. I was very happy and my funds were deposited within two days. I haven't dealt with any customer service people yet, but if the company is as efficient as getting my loan and low rate I wont doubt there people are just as efficient.

well, got that letter, filled out information, I have very good credit , 24 percent interest is what they offered and loan amount would only be 19,900. So how can u get the 5.9 interest rate? The last time I was offered a 24 percent interest rate was when I had no credit. SCAM letters that they are sending out. From the other reviews they will reply to this review and say please call, as with others they don't do anything. Consolidation sounded good, but hey I can just get a credit card that offers free balance transfers and no internet for 12 months. I went here cause I figured I could get at least a 6.3 interest rate lol. This company is fishing for the weak, no amount of loan is worth paying back that high of interest.

Review: WE HAVE APPLIED AN COUPLE OF TIMES FOR AN ONLINE THROUGH BEST EGG LOANS AND THEY CONTINUE TO DENIE ME FOR THE LOAN. Review: I applied for a loan and was offered a deal that I did not accept. They offered me a loan with a higher rate than I was OK with, so I simply declined that offer. Now, weeks later, I am bombarded by constant phone calls from this company. The caller ID reads: [redacted]. I have requested that they stop calling and when I do, the calls become more frequent. Moments ago, the call came and when I asked who was calling, the woman hung the phone up.

Before I contact an attorney and sue them for actual damages for the stress and undue duress they are causing me, I thought I'd give the Revdex.com a chance to help me. I am also going to file a police report for telephone harassment.

I cannot imagine why they think they will get business by incessantly calling me and harassing people. It's ridiculous and enough is enough!Desired Settlement: I want them to stop calling me.

I considered getting a credit card consolidation loan and looked at several other lenders before deciding to apply with Best Egg. The application process was easy, I applied on a Wednesday night at 10 pm, received an email Thursday my loan was approved and funds were direct deposited into my bank account on Friday. Truly a Streamlined Lending Process! Thanks Best Egg! I highly recommend!
